We love this place. The food is always good and the customer service is excellent.

Ordered food and there was a BIG RAT!!and the person that worked there was sweeping it out .. that’s gross!

Talk about a hole in the wall, lol. The food is delicious and you get a good amount of food for the prices. The tortas are huge for only being 9.50. They come with avocados lettuce tomato cream and choice of meats. Filled me up along with stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon stuffed with cheese fajita meat wrapped in a street taco corn tortilla. They are 4.00 each but well worth it. Their French fries are like McDonald’s lol and come in a small frier basket for 2.50. As for drinks they have Mexico sodas as well as American ones. They also have 32 ounce fresh drinks made of watermelon melon pineapple cantaloupe. Can cokes are 2.00 each. Their dinning area has approximately 17 tables inside and several outside. Restrooms are very clean. They have some Mexican desserts and candies. Attached is a very small merchandise area with Mexican theme. Overall it was a good place to eat and I certainly will return thanks to Jose the manager and his staff. Stop by you won’t be disappointed.

First time here they have a lot of combinations food well made. Open late as well place was good. Pay with cash though they charge 10% if using card

Everything was good, from a plain hot dog, to the tacos, piratas, quesadillas, campechanas, Everything in general is great a well as their prices

Well its Sunday morning,On the maps it says open at 8a. Been sitting in vehicle since 8:45. Walk up to the door it says open at 9:00a. Waited again til 9a. Walked in and now the lady said they open at 10a. Not good! Not coming here again

We passed by here on Saturday with my sisters dog, they allow dogs on the patio which was a huge plus! My girl ordered the El Perron hot dog with fries, and a pineapple drink, I order the Hamburgresa burger combo with. Dr. Pepper. The food came out with plastic covers to prevent bugs and flies, I thought this was amazing. The hot dog was full of toppings that mixed well together. The hot dog had beans which was a first but outstanding flavors. The burger was a perfect size, the cheese was delicious. The burger had ham and salami which mixed well with the rest of the toppings. The fries were hot and made perfectly. This place is very unique and worth a try, at least once.

The hot dogs were very good. The pastor was a little dry. Overall the food was good.

Hot dogs were good but nothing special about them, way way over priced. $6.50 for one and not even foot long. Tacos were good also but unfortunately overpriced also.

Freaking Awesome! Great food, the way the food is brought to you was different but I liked it, the portions were great and the $$ not to bad. Their staff is friendly and attentive.Restaurant indoor and out door sitting VERY clean! Definitely recommend El Perron, can’t wait to go back.

Gf drove by and thought it looked cool. Sportsbar vibe but the food was not worth it. You can make hotdogs like these at home and save yourself the disappointment. And if you don’t want to make hot dogs at home go some place else.

Horrible service. I got food poisoning. There is a waiter that wears glasses very unprofessional; he took forever to take my order, and his response was, "Are you in a hurry or what?" I went back to that place a day ago, and he was still there. The same thing took long to take my order and he gave me my drink when the food was there not when he took the drink order. Im not sure if this horrible person put something on my food as I started vomiting the next morning, and my stomach feels like its going to explode. how come the owner allows this kind of people to work for that place and who knows what he put on my food as I feel terrible sick from my stomach

Food is good, but the service has a little slow. Took them a while to take our order. Then we didnt get our drinks until the food got there.

It is a bit pricey for hot dogs but they were delicious and 1 hot dog is enough!!! One order of fries is also enough for 2 people "Refried beans" in a hot dog ! never could have imagined but they worked..!

Wow this place has gone down quick. The service is terrible. Ordered the parrilla for two. The meat was pretty much extra chewy and dry. The tortillas that came with it might asxwell be taken out of the fridge and thrown on the plate. My daughter order the tacos de trompo and the same results.If you want authentic Mexican flavor sorry folks this place is not what it onces was.When I left i was not the only one complaining about the food. The only quality product was the Mexican coke that I drank with my bland, tough overcooked meal.

The tacos are good with everything behind made to order. I got the Hamburguesa Polémica which was real good for $10 bucksEdit: Still coming here the past few years and it doesnt disappoint. Theyve updated the interior and added some side items. Real cool place to eat.

Been eating food from here since he had his little spot in front of Food Town! When they opened the new place, I was sure to go and show support! Perfect for groups of people looking for fast service and great food!

We had the piratas, campechana, baked fajita potato, hamburger, tortas and hotdogs. We are a big family with 2 specially picky eaters. They knew what they wanted to eat right away and didnt complain at all. Everything was so good. Definitely will be going back.

The Hot Dogs were awesome!!! Also the Thursday special... 10 tacos de trompo were a Great Deal and really great tasting! We definitely found a new lunch and an occasional dinner spot!

Place is pretty cozy, love the ambience. Despite us having a large party (9 peoplethe waiter was courteous and ordered everything correctly. The food came out pretty fast considering how much we ordered and everything was wrapped and packaged really well. Everything ordered tasted amazing! The salsas were on point too and the portions were pretty large. Definitely recommend this place.

Great way they mix and match the good with fresh meals everytime. 1 of the best Mexican burger Ive tasted this far!. Great job.

If you are looking for Mexican style hotdogs or hotdogs without the basic cheese and chili...then this is definitely the place to check out! Will be going back soon. Tried the Mexicano and El Perron....delicious!

Went there for the 1st time today. My son liked his burger 🍔. My husband said his carne asada tacos were just ok. My trompo was... well Im sorry but it was very dry and not much flavor and I really didnt enjoy my dinner.Maybe well try the hotdogs 🌭 next time.

Some food such as the tacos de carne asada seem to be pre-made and stored. Not made as you order. I ordered tacos and the corn tortillas were stale and the carne asada wasnt even hot. It came on a styrofoam plate with plastic wrap over it.Also we were told a section of the seating area was closed then a few more people walked in after us and sat in the area that was closed. An overall bad experience. I would leave zero stars if I could.

(2nd visit)Not very good. The quality of the food was better when they had a little stand in front of the grocery store on Uvalde. I also wasted my time by driving 20 minutes and the place was closed. According to the hours of business they should be open at 1pm..we showed up at 1:15pm....a young lady came out and said not ready till 3pm (1st visit)...

I didnt think much of this place when I stopped in for a bite to eat after hanging out close by, but I was wowed by the abundance of flavors bursting from my chicken tacos I ordered. This place offers some really good stuff! I only had the tacos but I can only imagine that if the tacos were this good the hot dogs must be outstanding. I shall return!

Fast service and great hot dogs

The food is good and the service is perfect, but the place is run down needs to be up-to-date and fix. Im surprised the city hasnt shut them down. So many places that can cause an injury to the adult and a child.

I wasnt impressed. I did not like the fact that when I walked in, there was literally raw meat still wrapped in plastic, and some still in boxes, just left out in the dining room to "defrost." Literally in the dining room. I also did not like that there was a young man preparing burger patties behind the register. Yes, he was wearing gloves, but used those same gloves to touch his phone and refrigerator next to him. This cant be sanitary. He did remove his gloves to deliver some drinks to a table. Did he put new gloves on once he went back to preparing burger patties? I dont know. I cant believe I actually stayed since I had already ordered food for my family at this point. We did eat, but wasnt impressed by the quality of food nor the service, and was take aback at the food prep taking place in front of us. I dont plan on visiting again.

Really great attentive servers. Food was really good. A bit pricey and if you pay with a credit card they charge you an extra dollar for each ten you spend. Ten percent is just too much just to use your credit or debit card. Plus they dont tell you till after you have eaten. So bring cash. Which in my opinion opens them up for potential robbers knowing they hold more cash on site.

I went on a recommendation by a friend. We tried tacos, hot dogs and hamburger ...definitely recommended the hot dogs, burgers and fries which are straight off the grill. The tacos were just ok, they were a bit over cooked. Would definitely return just for burgers and hot dogs

Wish the place had more parking. Had to leave the car illegally parked while we had to rush and eat fast. Tried the highly recommend baby milk goat intestant tacos. All I can say is its aquired taste and if you like me dont like liver you might not like it. Nice local Hispanic vibe inside. Sure will be back

This place is super good. I actually had the privilege to meet the owner of the place and he made sure that i had the best experience. The food is super good and the staff is extremely attentive. I recommend you order your food while you drive there ahed of time that way when you get there tou dont have to wait.
