Compared to other non-Lebanese restaurants that we tried in Beirut, this restaurant was in our top 3 for sure. It serves good to great (depending on the dishesSpanish tapas and delicious cocktails. I recommend you to visit if you’re in the area.

Great place, the ambience is very nice and cozy definitely going back however the only thing i would like to say is that during the 25th december around 9pm there was a big crowd with only 3 waiters including the bar tender which made the order very slow.

Great drinks food is average

To start with, the food is really good. The presentation is very nice but the portions are small compared to the prices. The waiters are welcoming and helpful, but the service is very slow and they always mix up the orders. Their sangrias are the best.The most annoying thing was the music, it was very loud and we could barely hear each other.Overall, our experience was good. Cheers!

One of the best pubs Ive visited in Badaro area. Wonderful service and very friendly. Good drinks and tasty Spanish food. The ambiance is wonderful.

El Paseo is a cozy resto-pub with a very nice interior design from the wine cave till the big bar stand.Although, the drinks are quite average with some unique cocktails they created. On the other hand , the food was quite delicious with some interesting things to try and taste.

One of the best places in town. we visited the place on a saturday night, and we really enjoyed the music. Their drinks are quite an experience coupled with unique appetizers. Definitely a must try, we will definitely visit again.

Its kind of niceBut when i went the AC was leaking water near my table on the ground...And it was very hot insideThe service was not badI ordered 2 plates, the first was good, but the second(meat steakhad coars salt!! big grains, it was kike small stones when u bite them.When i told the waiter, he replied that this is for the view of the plate.

Their cocktails are very impressive. The sangria is great and I recommend it. The portions are quiet impressive as well. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is suitable for hanging out with friends and catching up. It is in a street full of pubs yet it still stands out. This place has a good reputation and gets crowded over the weekend.

The best spanish restaurant so far in beirut. The food is of high quality and tastes really good (the tapas are just amazing). This is a chill place with a small seating on the street sidewalk with light and nice music so basically perfect for a gathering with friends and family. They do serve the best sangria I ever had in lebanon so make sure to try it ! Prices are ok when compared to the quality of products offered. You should also try the patatas bravas as they are excellent. The service is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful..they would go the extra mile to help you choose from the menu items.

One of the best restaurants in badaro. The ambience , music and hygiene are amazing while prices are acceptable and service is punctual and prompt. The staff is also highly friendly, dedicated and professional. The experience is always up to expectations .Highly recommended restaurant to anyone seeking a lovely dining experience.

Ive been to tapas restaurants in Montreal and London, so although not an expert I have some experience. The menu was average, but then again Id prefer a smaller menu that could be well-delivered than one promising everything under the sun. However, I was to be disappointed even by this small choice. The only dish I could say I enjoyed was the patatas bravas, although I have had much better. I didnt find much on the menu that was authentic tapas. We ordered a paella, they do one with chicken and beef filet. When it came it just didnt look or smell right. The rice was cooked like a risotto. There was such a strong smell of fish, and the taste... it was just fish and seafood, which did not feel right when youre eating chicken and meat. We couldnt eat it and decided to pay and leave. The waiter asked us if we wanted it to take away and we declined. Probably the best part of the experience was the staff, who were efficient and friendly. I honestly would not go back again, one to miss in my opinion.

El Paseo will satisfy your taste buds in every way possible.Their Sangria is one of the best Ive tasted, and the cocktails are all high quality.The food menu is unique and really really tasty!

I was disappointed by the place.Food: Seafood Paella for 5 was poorly done: thick and chewy rice, overcooked shrimps presented in their shell. Almost no other type of seafood.Drinks: we went for a pitcher of frozen strawberry margarita and two pitchers of white wine sangria. These were not nice either and most of us did not drink them (too sweet and poorly prepared). They were also pricy USD56.Atmosphere: Average to poor, water was leaking on our table from the ceiling which was quite uncomfortable (Waiter said he couldn’t do anything about it). Water was also leaking in the WC stairs leading to one of us slipping.Overall: I wouldn’t recommend this place, there are better options in Beirut.

Ridiculous high prices for very average products. The place looks good and the staff is cool but better not eat there!

Fiendly staff, lovely atmosphere and delicious food! the salads are super fresh and the paella is as authentic as it gets. A must try!!P.S: love that they’re paying attention to sustainability. They only use glass bottles for water. The napkin holders are made from used corks and the used glass bottles are reshaped as drinking cups, utility cups or plant holders!

Paella is moderate, shrimps were overcooked but the sangrea drink was so tasty

My experience at El Paseo was fantastic. We spotted the place while walking down Badaro and thought wed give it a go. The ambiance is a little dark and moody, with Spanish music playing in the background. There werent many customers around, but it felt like youd still enjoy privacy even if the tables were packed.We ordered a pitcher of Sangria, which was well balanced with just enough sweetness and freshness. I would have preferred a teeny little bit more fruit pieces in it though.The amuse-bouche of fresh warm bread and olives were good (the tomato sardines were average).We also had the:- Croquettas with jamon (delicious cheese, amazing jamon dip)- Fried camembert y mas (perfect large portions of camembert, excellent sides)- Patatas bravas (crunchy, spicy, with the same dip as the Croquettas)- Catalan chicken (smooth chicken breast, great green pea mash, and side salad drizzled with olive oil and zaatar, yum!)- Fried ice cream (nice, but for me the star of the show were the strawberries and cream on the side).Overall, the food was great and well proportioned for the prices, service was fast and professional, and I am anxious to come back and try more of their tapas and plates.

A generally good place to be to enjoy a decent drink/ambiance and spend quality time with friends over a drink or two on a Friday night.. the high-seating chairs are a bit uncomfy though.. nevertheless you definitely would enjoy smoking a cigar with a decent drink!! Cheers!!

Stopped by El Paseo on two occasions recently ; one for lunch formula sand the other for dinnerthe lunch formula is served at 10$ , entree plat dessert and soft drink, we had a chicken breast with mushroom sauce and rice with nice tastes and citrus zestfor dinner we had grilled calamari and a shrimp mango salad , a meat and caramelized onions platter along with a chicken provolone- these were awesome

I would like to thank Bridge of Minds and El Paseo for the invitation where we tasted the news items prepared by the Spanish Chef Gabriel.We started with;Bread basket with the spicy mix dipThe patatas with flaming hot sauce are surely addictiveThe shrimp mango salad was so refreshingThe fried calamari was served but i skipped itNext came the beef caneloni: while i loved the beef mix i did not like the texture of the wrapThe Chicken provolone was surprisingly really good: the taste of cheese is very balanced and with the contrast of the blueberry jam the dish is a successThe stars of Spanish cuisine is Paella: i preferred the regular one which was generously served with sea food medley vs the black ink oneThe churros were ok served with chocolate ice cream while i would recommend vanilla as they are with cinnamonOverall i recommend trying the place with the vibes and the food

A very welcome addition to the existing restaurants in Badaro, this place brings a rich selection of Tapas and Spanish specialties. The staff are welcoming and the flavors are rich although some of the dishes might still need some fine tuning.
