El Paraíso Park - Park in Azogues, Ecuador
Beautiful park. I wish the walk trail was longer
Very beautiful park to come and relax, it reminded me of central park in nyc where im from.
Beautiful, large urban park. Great for a picnic.
Best place to spend a few afternoon hours. Just wish theyd reopen the food court.
A beautiful place to come walk, run, meditate, just enjoy all nature has to offer. Very well maintained
Big, beautiful park with lots of open space for playing. The play grounds are simple, but varied and spread out. There are also plenty of food and toy vendors and entertainment so you will not need to bring much.
Nice place to be with your family
A huge long park by the river. Great for everyone
Gorgeous park to walk or bike around and have a relaxed picnic. Love the outer trail that takes you into the lush green surroundings, next to the gushing river and massive trees overhead. There are well maintained bathrooms as well 🤩
Largest park in the city of Cuenca is a sprawling, peaceful place along the water, with a small lake/pond and lots of happy Cuencanos.
A large, beautiful park where the two main rivers converge
One of Cuencas biggest and best parks, we love to go here to walk or jog. There is a beautiful forested area where the two rivers meet, a lake with paddle boats, playgrounds, stationary exercise equipment, several walking paths, Bici Cuenca bike station, futbal pitch, and even a miniature "safety town" area for kids to learn traffic rules. We sometimes see morning bailoterapia/zumba classes, too.It is truly impressive and we have seen a lot of parks! This place is well used and feels safe for families or solo visitors. For more recommendations on what to do and see in Cuenca, find our blog posts by searching: "Intentional Travelers Cuenca"
Nice clean park with lots of activities for the family.
Great outdoors space for walking with kids, not too crowded
Beautiful park to relax and take your dog to feel free. Extensive green areas next to the river. Loving it🥰
Beautiful place for a romantic walk
Best Park in Cuenca lots of space articial lake to enjoy the view or a.nice path to run around
Beautiful!
The most beautiful park in all Cuenca. Tons of space, things to climb and play on and walking trails
This is one of the biggest parks in Cuenca. It is really very nice to walk along the river, with many exercise areas, natural walk ways and raised wooden walking trails. There are also areas to learn about traffic and the rules, but due to Covid a lot of the activities in the park are closed for now. The park feels save and IS safe! Enjoy!
Parque Paraíso just east of the historic center of Cuenca, and situated between the two beautiful central rivers of the city, the Tomebamba and the Yanuncay, has a little bit of something for everybody. It has a lovely lake with ducks and other waterfowl for children and adults alike, playground equipment, beautiful old trees, broad grassy areas, exercise equipment for children and adults alike, and much much more.Expansive enough to “stretch out” and lose yourself in its peacefulness, it is nonetheless not so wild that one, other than a small child, would get lost. A great addition, if not a cornerstone to the city’s extensive system of beautifully maintained parks.
Beautiful, pristine park. At the confluence of two rivers. Food Court and toilets STILL not open? Rediculous I!
WOW! The walk along the rivers is so wonderful!!! The water is clear, the trees and flowers are beautiful. I love it!
One of Cuencas most relaxing parks. Between the convergence of the Yanunkay and Tomebamba rivers, this park had a serene lake, plenty of benches to sit, a dog park, playground for the kids, sport fields and places to eat. Highly recommended for families, lovers and tourists.
So very clean and the kids loved the playgrounds
Great park to let your kiddos run around.
Beautiful park to walk and meet new people. The area is completely safe. There’s a big mall nearby and the park is easy to get to by taxi. I recommend walking the bridges. Some parts are out so be careful where you step. Though maintenance workers are diligently making improvements.
Wonderful place. Beautiful park. Ecuadorian central park !
F ing awesome. I rented a bike and went for a ride on the bike trail next to the river. Made it to the end of the line which was this park. Lovely, one of the coolest experiences in Ecuador thus far.
This is absolutely beautiful park. If you are looking for a stroll in an exceptional location this is it. The walk along the river and through forest of Eucalyptus is clearly worth the time.
This is such a nice place to go for a walk. Unfortunately, the guards are now asking people to have their dogs on a leash which I think is very inappropriate since a park is also for dogs to run around and not on a leash.
Beautiful scenery, great trails to walk, sound of the river adds to the park soundtrack. Plenty of places to sit and rest.
Nice park. Very large and spacious. Good for many different activities.
A quiet place in the city for many occasions: lovers, old folks, families, sport activity, paddle boats, nature walks, sitting in the sun.
It was great! Beautiful park to go with the family and young children.
Biggest park in Cuenca, very nice, slot of places and things to do
Great place to put a blanket on the ground and read a book. Nice pond with ducks and geese you can feed. Paddle boats. Lots of exercise equipment and equipment for kid to play on. Can even get something to eat.
Very pretty park with exercise equipment as well as paths for walking.
Beautiful trails, childrens area, food vendors and views. Heaven in the city.
Nice place, but kind of small, to visit on a 1 hour free time. You can ask for a boat to navigate for 20 minutes around an artificial island.
Very nice
Great scenic place for a walk next to the river. Too bad some areas of the riverbank have a lot of garbage.
Excellent place for enjoying nature and stay alone or be with somebody else.
This is a wonderful city park, just southeast of El Centro. I believe it is the largest city park in Cuenca. There are often a lot of family activities happening there and it is also pet-friendly.
Loved this park. Large, various habitats (husband and I are birders), multiple facilities for children, adult work-outs, etc. Also close to residential and commercial areas. Just about everyrhing a city park should be!
Such a beautiful park where you can spend time with family, friends or by yourself. Pets are always welcomed. In there, you can meditate at the Tomebamba or Yanuncay riverside. There are kind of "tiendas" where you can buy local food and drinks.
Great park spent most of the afternoon there with my Granddaughter lovely place to walk
Beautiful park! Great place for a picnic with the family and or pets. Well maintained and lots to see and do. Walks along the river are a must. Food is also available for purchase.
Like most parks in Cuenca it is well maintained and beautiful. A big park where you can spend the whole day. They sell good quality traditional food. Perfect for a Sunday with your dog.
Beautiful park with lovely walks along the river. Great for kids and adults.
