El Montanero Restaurant in North Providence

The food is ok, but the service is terrible, i walk in and wait 5 minutes for someone to say welcome. They need more customer service focus.

El lugar es agradable el personal es amable, la comida está sabrosa y el costo está razonable.

Es la segunda vez que lo visito , no vuelvo la comida fría, mi esposo pidió una piña colada y estaba podrida , mi esposo pidió cambiarla y no lo hicieron más sin embargo la cobraron y estaba completa porque estaba amarga podrida . Entiendo que para el costo de los alimentos el servicio que ofrecen y el lugar no son los mejores.

One of my favorite places to eat.

El lugar ha bajado mucho en el servicio al cliente y en la comida. Llegamos y solo habían una sola mesa ocupada. Para empezar pedimos unas empanadas que duraron alrededor de 30 minutos para servir. Luego traen las bebidas que fueron unas margaritas en un vaso roto. La comida duro una hora veinte minutos para ser servida ala mesa y no fue nada como lo pedimos.Horrible experiencia!!

I dont recommend this place to anybody. Not sure what was worst the service or food.Deafortunadamente una Perdido de tiempo y dinero, nunca más..no se cual fue peor el servicio o la comida.

Pésimo servicio, vine un sábado y no habia tanta gente, la chica se olvido de todo, no había carne y andaba en otra, la verdad salí insatisfecha de ahi.

Lo siento no me gustó la comida a la niña k atiende a uno si es chévere ella pero los cocineros no preparan bien la comida y perdón

The food is really good. The waitress that served us is excellent. Is my third time there. The only 2 downside is if You pay with credit card they charge you 3 % of the bill and they include the tip on the bill .

Best Colombian food hands down. Nothing in Rhode island beats the food here. The flavors bring me back to when I used to visit Colombia as a kid 30 years ago.

Demasiado caro para poca cantidad de comida y un SÚPER MAL SERVICIO nos pusieron la comida en la mesa nunca nos preguntaron si necesitábamos algo no nos dieron servilletas comimos súper incómodos y Luego estuvimos q esperar como media hora para pagar $$$$$

Food was excellent and love the portion you get for the price paid.

We were the only ones in the place from when we walked in til we left. Two young girls attended to us. The food was good but needed more seasoning. The environment was a bit weird.

Update 7/16/2019: I am very sad typing this, I used to like this place and I don’t know what happened . I went to breakfast today here at 11am , i haven’t been in soo long .I asked for a coffee , empanada and hígado .First let’s start with the coffee : it’s instant coffee and it was awful . There should be a law against restaurant servicing instant coffee !!!!. I really didn’t see if she boiled the water or Just put it in the microwave . But it was a bad ....beyond bad !!!!!Second : Finally the empanada came . When I split in half it literally the oil inside of it exploded . You will picture below and you will see there was a sea of oil inside this empanada. The oil dripped everywhere . I have never seen anything like this at any other place .Third : the liver had potential . The woman who cooked it , can’t cook . It was the most horrid breakfast I ever had anywhere . everything took a long time and I was the only one there .The service was subpar ... non existent. When the other girl showed up (she showed up with her son), she was a bit friendlier but she showed up towards the end of my bad experience .I left there with the longest face sad and mad at the same time .To the owner or owners of this restaurant : You should really make coffee not instant coffee !!!! . A really great cup of coffee it’s a great way to start !!!!Second the girl who was there cooking can’t cook . She couldn’t even get an easy empanada right . Two: the hígado breakfast has potential but it was not good. If you don’t cook with peace and joy , your food will show it.I really would hate to see this place go out of business . I probably won’t be coming here any time soon .i had the feeling that the lady cooking and serving doesn’t care for this place . I hope it changes . If they continue this I don’t see them there in five years . There are six great options around for Colombian restaurants near by you got to step up your game !!!. Don’t get too comfortable.

Muy mala la atención, la comida sabrosa pero se demoran una eternidad en atenderte y en darte la comida, he ido 4 veces y solo la primera ves estuvo buena la atención pero el personal q tienen no save nada de la comida ni de los tragos y para el servicio de recoger pésimo, que triste pero quede muy desilusionada.

La peor experiencia de mi vida!! Fui el sábado y esperé más de 45 min y nadie llego a tomar órdenes en mi mesa. Tuve q irme ! Es increíble, Janas había pasado una experiencia tan desagradable. No entiendo si es un día tan ocupado porque no contratan más empleados? Solo quieren hacer dinero y no invertir en un mejor servicio?

Eramos clientes frecuentes, pero desafortunadamente no quedamos conformes porque no informan sobre todo lo q cobran extra, cobran el 4% por pagar con tarjeta debito o credito , incrementaron mucho los precios del menu y a parte por una cuenta minima se cobran muchisimo de tips en el recibo, deberia ser voluntario no creen? Solo les falta cobrar la entrada y cobrar por escoger la silla

Horrible experience , food was horrible also. The chubby woman who apparently is the owner(waitress as wellis so rude. Never even came back to the table to check if we needed anything. This was my second time here, I will never comeback ever again.

Cómo comenzar? Bien ubicado, estacionamiento, limpio, buenos precios, excelente sazón, y sobre todo una muy buena atención de la linda señorita que a su corta edad nos atendió excelente!How to begin? Well located, parking lot,clean, good prices, excellent seasoning, but above all a really good attention from the nice miss that despite her age, she attended us excellent!

The food was delicious and well prepared satisfying food portions extensive menu with many culinary delights i highly recommend it
