El Mirasol in Nagaoka

気になってお邪魔したメキシコ料理店。メニューも本格的でメニューを見ただけでは何が出てくるのか？わからない感じ。。お店の方に訪ねたら本当に丁寧に教えていただき、ナチョスやタコス、ブリトー、サボテンのサラダと全部いただきました！サルサというメキシコのソースも充実しており、いろんな味を楽しめました。今回は訳ありでノンアルコールでしたが、このタコスとビールを一緒に飲んだら美味しいんだろうなぁ。異国の味を満喫しつつ、本当に大満足の時間でした。またお邪魔したいです。ご馳走さまでした。

かつて東京にあった名店ラ・カシータで修行された店主が作るテキサスは一切混ざらない本格メキシコ料理店。チョコレートを使ったモーレという珍しいソースの料理もあります。タコスの皮、とうもこしのマサも勿論手作り。

大変居心地の良いお店です。どのお料理も美味しく頂きました。辛さが苦手な方は注文時にお店の方に相談されると辛くない味付けで作ってくださいます。個人的なおすすめは、ビーフのウェットブリトーとキャラメルアイスです。

初めてのメキシコ料理専門店。ランチで訪問しました。店員さん2人で切り盛りして、明るい雰囲気でした。ランチAセットのタコスを注文、サラダがウチワサボテン入りで初めてのサボテンでした！シャキシャキで味のクセは無く非常によかったです。ソース？とピクルスを２種類まで選べ、どれもタコスや豆の煮物にアランジを加えてくれます。肝心の味は優しめ（豆の煮物はもはや豆味）で、タコスも日本人の口に合うものでした。ごちそうさまでした！

エル・ミラソル→まさに、ひまわりみたいに明るいお店の方に非常に好感を持てた。会津から通われる方もいるみたいで、南の名店として→こちらのメキシコ料理にはかなり満足できました。ちなみに、ツイッターとインスタもやっているもよう。

新潟で本格的なメキシカンが頂ける素晴らしいレストランです。とても美味しく大満足！お店の方の説明も丁寧で分かりやすく良かったです。

Really great place that I liked for two big reasons:The atmosphere is really well done, especially being in Japan. I think the vibe is very reminiscent of a lot of Mexican places Ive been to closer to the US-Mex border with the lawn chairs and decor, so the familiarity was nice.The food options were all great. I got the chance to go a couple times and it was all good and pretty authentic. I recommend the hot chocolate

This is hands down the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve been to in Japan. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend any Big Burrito because they’re delicious. For desert, get rice pudding, and the Jamaica drink is good. The owners are very nice and always enjoy chatting in Spanish or Japanese.

Was recommended by a Mexican friend, and it did not disappoint. I wished I’d had room for seconds as it was incredibly delicious.

This is hands down the BEST Mexican food I’ve had in Japan. The carnitas tacos are FANTASTIC. There’s nothing in Tokyo that comes close! A MUST DO if you’re in Niigata craving Mexican.

Best Mexican food ever had with lovely staff.

Ive lived in Japan for a total of 3 years and visited several different cities, but this is by far the best and most authentic Mexican food Ive ever had in Japan.Service was fantastic, everyone was so kind and helpful!¡Muchas gracias!

I was introduced to El Mirasol by my friend and I couldn’t be more glad! We’ve been twice together now and it is the most delicious Mexican food I’ve tried in Japan! The prices are really reasonable and the food portions are so filling! Not to mention the husband and wife owner team are so lovely, friendly, funny, and passionate about their business and food! Highly recommended! 🤤

Been in Japan for close to 5 years and have tried many many Mexican restaurants throughout, to include the Ryuku islands, and this is by far the most authentic tasting food I’ve had since being in the states. Taste was amazing and highly recommend for anyone who’s missing some good Mexican cuisine. Also the staff are the nicest people ever. I never write reviews but I had to for this place.

Best mexican restaurant in Niigata! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The food is 100% delicious! They are very consistent since day one.

My lady and I could not be more impressed by the quality of Mexican cuisine that we experienced at El Mirasol. This place is an authentic Mexican restaurant. Not only was the food pleasantly surprising but the kindness and authenticity of the people who work there as well. It was truly a blessing to find such delicious food and such hospitable hosts. I could go on for days about why this place is so great but I think that you should go there and try for yourself. You will not be dissatisfied.

はじめてメキシコ料理を食べました。昼行ったので、ランチコースを注文しました。ランチコースは、ワンプレートで色々ありますが、主にタコスとプリトーの2種類です。どちらも食べたかったので、プリトーのコースに単品のタコスを注文しました。サルサ(ソース)は2種類を頼んだけど、なぜか4種類全部持ってきました。中の肉はいくつのバージョンがあるので、タコスとプリトーは全部牛肉にしました。結論はプリトーの牛肉チーズは牛肉のタコスより美味しかったです。ソースは赤のサルサロハとハラペーニョの方が美味しかったです。でも、なれていないので、フリホーレスとメキシカンライスは苦手でした。多分、つぶあんよりこし餡好きな方なら、フリホーレスが好きになれるかもしれません。量は普通だと思いましたけど、店員から親切で「食べ切れないなら、半サイズも大丈夫だよ」と声掛けられました。心が温かい店だと思います。店内はスペースが狭いけど、気になったら対応してくれるらしい。

Amazing food and people!

Wow.... One of the best Vegetarian Mexican Cuisine you can have ... It is proper Mexican taste not Texmex style. They have proper Vegetarian menu to fulfil not only your stomach but also tongue. They have menu in English so its foreigners friendly. Cook & serving staff are very friendly & nice people. Small restaurant with less sitting capacity & might take little long to serve you but for good food , atleast I can wait. Coin parking available nearby.Overall Fantastic . Vegan, Vegetarian & Foreigner friendly restaurant & staff. Worth visiting while you are in Niigata.

Such great Mexican food! I had the grande pulled pork burrito and it was delicious and filling. Not the cheapest food but definitely not the most expensive, quite reasonable expect to pay around 1000-2000yen pp

I swear this is the only place to go to find remotely authentic Mexican food in Japan (that Ive found so farThe ingredients are fresh (big plus because of the effort it takes hereand the flavors are on point. If I could eat here weekly, I would, no doubt.

Great staff and great food ! Californian born and raised I give this place 7.5 out of 10 . Pretty damn good Japan, much better then ARCO IRIS. My only complaint is, its a little expensive, a wet burrito with a side of rice and beans is around 3000 yen.

Im Mexican and I feel at home here. Offers a nice variety of food by means of food courses. Mexican beer and tequila available of course. The owners are priceless

Amazing Mexican food. As a Texan, this place is a taste of home. The owners speak English, Spanish, and Japanese. In addition to the normal menu, they offer a vegetarian menu, and are very willing to accommodate special requests.

Amazing food! The owners are very accommodating and warmly welcome everyone. They can speak English and Spanish in addition to Japanese, and the menu has English on it as well. Their homemade tortillas are the real deal, and I also love their rice. Really you cant go wrong ordering!

I dont know how authentic the Mexican food is, but it was pretty tasty. Not that spicy. Portions could be a little bigger. Very nice owners.

Great place for a date or just getting some amazing food. The owners are wonderful people and they have a great selection of tequila and some good rums! Highly recommended.
