Food was meh. Its hard to find really good Mexican food in Alabama. Decor fit the part. Waitress was nice

Bland food, sevice was mediocre. Taco shell was stale and so were the nacho chips. The cheese dip was not hot or seasoned. The guacamole tasted like ONLY avocado.. no cilantro or garlic and the refried beans were unappealing in taste and appearance.

Many choices for Mexican cuisine in the area, and this one is ok. Wide variety on the menu. None of the food was bad, but none of the food stood out as excellent. Service was good, but atmosphere didnt feel particularly welcoming. Food came quickly and was hot. Steak fajitas were plentiful but lacked tenderness and flavor. Tortillas were nicely warmed but store-bought. Burrito Macho was good. No liquor available so no margaritas. Guacamole and salsa was good.

Man, Ive yet to be disappointed in a Mexican restaurant in the Huntsville area! This one is no exception. Great responsive service and fantastic food.Side note:I dont hate it but I am not a fan of vegetables in my Mexican rice. Ive never seen this before going to Mexican restaurants in the Huntsville area, multiple do this. Im from the west coast and lived in the south west near the border of Mexico, never have I seen this. I suspect this is a southern/south east adaptation. Can anyone confirm?

Excellent food, love the salsa very tasty. Good food selection. Of a beer drinker with your food one of the fuel places that ofter large mug 22oz. 🍺 the fajitas amazing.

Always good food, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Huntsville. Servers are always kind to my family and I, even when we laugh too loud or are otherwise a pain. Definitely worth a visit compared to other local Mexican places.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. They were slammed tonight, and still managed good service.

Havent been here in over a year. We were very pleased to try it again and the food was amazing. Hoping it stays this good so we can make this our Mexican eating spot again. They do not have liquor but have beer. F.Y.I

Ordered shrimp chimchunga. Ive had better. I think they have new cooks. Great service though food could of had more flavor

This was my familys first visit. Everything was terrific. We really enjoyed the food and looking forward to going back.

This was my childhood Mexican food spot, many great memories with friends and family.Unfortunately, it has gone down hill since 2017. Food quality is still good, service is good at the surface, etc. Unfortunately when it comes to trustworthiness, it fails. I was charged $20 extra as a tip back in 2017 and finally decided to go back recently. They charge $2.25 for to go drinks now. Between the theft and penny pinching that few restaurants do, Im done for good. Very unimpressed as of late.

Fabulous Mexican food, great service, plenty of room to enjoy your own space, and the prices are reasonable (good value).

I get the grilled chicken salad and pay a little extra for slices of avocado. Never disappointed!

I go here for dinner sometimes. (Mostof their food is good, not amazing by any means but I overall enjoy it and feel full afterwards. And I appreciate that the restaurant is really straight to the point and not super overpriced unlike a few other mexican restaurants Ive been to. This place is good if you value simplicity.

First time coming here was a great experience. Lunch service was fast and delicious. You definitely get your moneys worth here. Pictured is the mariachi burrito.

We eat here very often but I don’t think we will be back. We ordered ground beef soft tacos for the kids last night and my daughter ate half and I reheated the other half for lunch today and thank god I opened it I found some thick type of paper, leaf, or something in the ground beef 🤢 🤮

Never had a bad experience. Favorite Mexican restaurant when I come visit family. I miss the buffet! Hope it is safe to resume next year.

We Love El Mariachi. We Love the Chili Rellrno on the A la carte. One will fill you up. Always great Mexican food and great service. We will be back.

That 1 star review from Seames is ridiculous. Almost any Mexican restaurant Ive been to the employees speak spotty English, but honestly you just point to what you want its not that hard. The food is awesome, the salsa is good, and Ill definitely eat here again :)

Waitress barely spoke any English. Ordered my shrimp fajita`s on a plate rather than the sizzling skillet that over cooks the shrimp and it still came out on the skillet. Waitress never checked on us and sat another customer with her phone up to her ear. My wife and I use to love this place but this last visit will be our last. We will go to a more professional Mexican restaurant where you get what you ask for and the staff speaks at least some english!

always good quality. We order from door ash alot and it arrives tasting great, Never missing items on their take out when we get delivered or pick up. Thanks for offering that delivery service!

Very Quick unfriendly service. And I been sick on my belly since I ate there 7 hrs ago. Really hope I didn’t get food poisoning from the flavorless enchilada and dried out flavorless taco meat.

I’m shocked this place has any good reviews. The service was awful. I ordered the juevos rancheros and my eggs were way too overdone. The chili was disgusting. Probably one of the most disappointing meals I’ve ever had in my life. I had five bites and spoke to a manager because I was so upset. My husband had the buffet and said it was just okay. Will not be returning.

Delicious! I really enjoyed the Pollo Varacrusino. It was delicious and served on a sizzling skillet. The service was great and our waitress refilled our drinks quite often. We had a nice family dinner. Glad we tried this place!

There was a small selection on the buffet which is only one table, both sides. The taco meat was dry and crumbly. There is cheese sauce but a sign says its only for carry out customers.. really? The waitress was a sweetheart. It is a family style atmosphere restaurant.

We love this place and eat there every Sunday. The buffet has lots to pick from if you dont want to order. Always busy on Sundays so you might have to wait for a table.

What a surprise! Didnt expect much from what appeared to be just another Mexican restaurant. But the food blew us away. Fresh everything. Good menu. Service was attentive and quick. Really good food. Beer is available but no liquor. Can be busy on weekend nights but didnt have to wait. Good casual dining in an unexpected place.

My son took me for my birthday lunch today. The buffet was ok but the guacamole wasnt fresh and I think store bought. However, service was HORRIBLE. My son had asked them to sing happy birthday. They did not. As he paid the check he mentioned it to the rude uncouth young lady at checkout she just smile giggled and shrugged her shoulders. No "sorry" instead he got "oh well" as she continued to laugh and shrug her shoulders. I asked her to please stop speaking to my son in that manner. She did not. If she worked in my company I would have fired her on the spot. Been going there 10+ years and will never return. Sick of the poor attitude and service of their younger staff past several months. Plenty of other great Mexican places in town. Try La Alameda for one (compare the ratings and been in business half the time as this place)

Had dinner last night, party of 2. The entrees we ordered were good, served Hot BUT the service was Horrible. We were not even greeted upon coming in..." How many?" thats all she said, not even a welcome or introduction from the server... only " you ready to order"?. After food arrived, I asked for additional cheese sauce on my Polo Loco as it was dry..... she brought it and slammed it down with no conversation. She showed no appreciation for her job or customers. Will not go back. They were not that busy so no excuse to not show good customer service. Its very simple to be nice and care about your tables. Not just the server but the hostess as well, plus the man who cashed me out never even said "Thank you" .

Fast service, good food and attentive staff. Saw the cooking staff come out and check the buffet three times while we were dinning. Everything was clean, definitely will eat here again. Only ding was they were short on some of the beer selections.

Awesome place to hang out with friends. Service is quick. Drinks are always filled. My kids love the buffet. Mr. Juan (one of the managersis always helping out and cleaning up after people on the buffet (Wed & Sun).Order a side of doughnuts for dessert ohh what a treat!

Just stopped and was surprised to see a lunch buffet. All the food was good on the buffet, but they didnt refill items quick enough. Waiter was excellent. Only thing I recommend is fresh jalapenos instead of pickled. Reasonably priced too, kids buffet was only $4.50 and mine was under $8.
