We called in last minute. Waiters seemed v busy even though the restaurant wasnt full. I had the pizza tropical which was OK but dry. My partner had chicken kebab which was just one skewer of chicken and veg and a few chips. He wasnt impressed.

Absolutely fantastic 3 course meal, drinks, and staff are very attentive, they also leave a break in between each course and made us feel special. Loved the complementary drink and also the free honey rum. Brilliant 👏 👏

Mixed experiences from this place. Lunch was amazing here pictures are all from lunch but we decided to go back for dinner on our anniversary and how disappointed we were. Ordered same as did before the starters were lacking in toppings. Then had to wait 40 minutes for food with no explaination and other people who arrived after us getting their starters and mains before us. Mains turn up and all we got was there was a mix up in the kitchen. Potatoes were stone cold and my pork had no crackling on top just some jelly like fat. They brought out new lukewarm potatoes which were edible. Cleared our plates and 10 minute wait later no offer of desserts but 2 people asked how meal was and tried to tell them but noone would listen. So paid and left. Only go if at lunch time and quiet. So sad to have had a bad second experience after first was so good.

I was going to give this place a 2 after receiving my cappuccino in a tiny cup despite asking for a large, maybe its the only size they do, the staff had trouble understanding my order and I had to resort to pointing to my dish on the menu, but credit where credits due the eggs benidict was lovely.

Loved this restaurant. The tapas are so tasty. A really good range of food on offer. Childrens food also really lovely.

Tapas not really good, almost everything deep fried, tuna tartare on the edge of dodgy.... Definitely not made to order..... However the have a brilliant champagnoise called pink flower, they serve that as a complementary drink on entry...... Get a bottle you wont regret that but skip the tapas.

Fantastic restaurant with a great menu and the friendliest staff. We were greeted with a glass of fizz before being seated and talking through the menu and wine list. Highly recommend the Iberico pork secret. Very family friendly

Great food, place was very busy when we attended, slight issue caused by another table, but the management handled it well. Would defo return.

Ordered a cocktail and had no alcohol in it, sent it back for another and got the exact same thing come back. We got given a jug of sangria which assumed was complimentary as didn’t order it then they came half way through and took it off of us as they read the wrong table number. Potato’s were rock hard and chicken was dry on the kebab meal. Arrabiata pasta was so over cooked and chewy. Garlic bread was like sponge. Didn’t even get asked if food was ok. Not impressed at all for first night of our holiday.

Brilliant meal out. The waiters were kind and really efficient. Everything was at a great pace and the food was delicious. We went back here twice on our holiday and enjoyed the food both times. Definitely recommend this fantastic restaurant!

We had a delicious family dinner here whilst on holiday. The staff spoke great english and were very helpful, accommodating our party of 12 and our individual needs. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was calm and the strawberry daiquiris were a highlight of the evening.

We have been as a family to Costa teguise for over 15 years we have always been to el maestro when we visit and have never had a bad meal, yet this time celebrating a 21st birthday the birthday girl chosen el maestro for our meal but we were left very very dissatisfied as we were in a party of 13 we were sat on 3 separate tables this was fine we understood they didn’t want to move tables together, we were seated for 45 minutes before we had even received a drink then another 45 minutes for our starters to come out. Atleast 4 of which were left because they were not up to standard, then when our mains came out 1 fillet got sent back because it wasn’t cooked and the other 6 didn’t even get eaten as they were either over cooked or far undercooked. In the whole 2hr30 we were there we only had one drink each. Very very poor for somewhere we highly rate

Such a great experience from the moment I walked in. A very nice lady gave us a taster of rose prosecco. The waiters were amazing and taught me a few words in Spanish. Drinks and food arrived quickly and very tasty. Would higy recommend :)

Ordered a small childs pizza with 2 cokes and a bottle of water and the chicken kebab. Service was a bit slow but they were friendy. Pizza was average but the chicken kebab was not only a small meal but still raw in the middle. I had eaten about 2 chunks of the chicken ate the veg and left the rest. The price €33.34 was very steep for what it was considering the kids pizza was about 6 euro. so def wont be back as we had to go eat somewhere else an hr later as still hungry.

Great food and fast service. Plus it has a great ocean view. I would highly recommend this place

Excellent food and excellent service. If you want the full 5 star food and service this is the place to go. Burgers are fantastic and tapas is big and nice. Was served by a nice bald bloke called Germon. If going here get him to serve you as he looks after the customers very well. Fantastic place to eat very spacious and laid back and relaxed 👌👌👌👌

My family and I have been visiting lanzarote for many years and frequented El Maestro many times. The visit tonight was without doubt the worst we have ever experienced. The service was slow to the point I had to ask for our meal which came eventually. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed and could not cope with an average service. We will not be back, sorry to see the decline of what was an exemplary restaurant.

EL Maestro = EL ShamblesTable 90 - Saturday 25th June 2022We approached the young lady who seated us at Table 90 after asking if we wanted to sit inside or outside.She presented us with a complimentary glass of something pink and sweet.We were presented with menus and I chose fillet steak 🥩 and my partner small plates sizzling prawns 🦐 and scallops. I had a pint 🍺 and she had a glass of sangria.The shambles began when the guy with glasses (looked to be in chargetook our order, then a second waiter approached and checked his tablet to discover that our order had already been taken.The food arrived and we eat it:The steak 🥩 was ok the vegetables on the side were more a work of food placement than a nutritional addition to my overall dining experience: The sizzling prawns 🦐 were on the small side and presented in a iron pot, the scallop portion was 5 scallops and again well presented although not substantial. Two small plates do not equal large plate: We had finished our mains and sat patiently for a long time waiting on the plates to be cleared: I spoke to the young lady who at one point walked passed our table: The plates were eventually cleared and we placed and order for coffee ☕️ to come after out desserts. We ordered a tiramisu and profiteroles. The coffee arrived before the dessert, waiter no.2 from above took the bill away and went to check the on the location of the desserts, some time later the desserts arrived.Waiter no.2 presented the bill with the desserts 🍮 on it and I paid the €77.70 and thankfully there wasn’t a service charge included so I didn’t have to ask for it to be removed. I turned back and noticed waiter no.2 speaking to waiter with glasses and the appeared to be having a chuckle at my remark to waiter no.2.Be aware this group operates four restaurants in the area, I can only hope the others are better but I can’t comment on them.

Absolutely excellent food. We will definitely be returning before the end of our holiday.

I dont normally post reviews but felt compelled to after visiting here. Efficient and friendly service and the best calzone Ive had outside of Italy. Wish Id found this delightful restaurant earlier in my holiday. Free glass of rose to start and a tequila to finish topped of a wonderful meal. I would highly recommend this place without hesitation

Impeccable service & the food is arguably the best in the area, so good we came two nights in a row. Chateaubriand is unbelievable! If you are staying in the area, you’d be crazy to not give it a go.

Wonderful location, fantastic service and delicious food. Great wine selection and sitting outdoors means you can hear the waves. Also lovely to just pop in for a cocktail or glass if wine during the day.

A nice spot for dinner. Had the potential to be amazing but left both myself & partner a bit underwhelmed. I had a chicken kebab but it was a bit dry & didnt have that "grill" flavour. Partner had monkfish medley & enjoyed it. As I said, was fine but not as special as it could have been.

We come here every year whilst holidaying, we absolutely 💯 lobe it!

The staff are great. We saw them physically running around the restaurant....but we arrived at 8.20 and only after we asked what was going on (at 9 30 did we get our starters.....We were given a free round of drinks, the food was decent, the staff were friendly but will we go back. No chance.

A fantastic experience! Dinner was magnificent and service was exceptional! Staff were very attentive to my gluten free food needs. Celebrating a birthday and the staff brought out a brownie with a sparkler in it, a cap and cape for the birthday guy and sang happy birthday. What a wonderful surprise! Thank you!

The food is wonderful, loved everything we tried. Staff, especially Dragena, were superb. For brunch, lunch or your evening meal, i would most definitely recommend a visit!!

Very friendly staff. The dishes are alright. The scallops unfortunately tasted like rubber. The inner decor of the restaurant is questionable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The Gambas Al ajillo tasted soapy didnt have a lot of garlic and seemed to be cooked from frozen, I could not eat them. Then atun tartare was delicious as were the croquetas.

My favourite restaurant in Costa Teguise. Very good food and service although it is not a cheap one. Yesterday we had prawns from the Wok, salmon with canary potatoes and spaghetti bolognese junior version. All that with wonderful Sangria. Highly recommended :)

Absolutely loved dining here while on vacation! Right from being greeted at the door and taken to our own chosen table we had the best experience. The food was so delicious and fresh with generous portion sizes🍴We visited twice and had the same feelings each time we where done, exceptionally full and very well looked after. I would recommend a visit here to anyone even if it is just for drink! The restaurant its self is a very well decorated place too🎄

Absolutely fantastic. Fried Shark & Calamari cooked to absolute perfection & the cocktails definately have a kick to them! Staff are helpful & amazing. Outside area extremely comfy if you like a sun trap with outside sofas. Cant wait to go again!

Went here in the evening had sirloin steak and beef stroganoff and a free rosa wine and two large beers came to 41 euros not bad .food was very nice and surrounding s very nice returned for prime ribsteak and cheese and onion toaty

The restaurant is beautiful. We got the best service. It was my cousins birthday so they got us a cake and gave him a free bottle of alcohol. The staff are very lovely and the food is a 10 out of 10.

Really disappointed tonite, the prawns came out raw and the staff were very quick to take them off the table once they noticed I was taking pictures. The nachos for starters were very good and you could tell the guacamole was of a decent standard. But then I had the kebab which was awful no pitta or bread or even sauce. It was served with a Rosti which was vile it just had a nasty after taste. And mojitos for some reason seem to have shrunk when the second round came. All in all I wouldn’t come back the food was bad the service pretty much the same and the only decent part about the visit were the views and the restaurant themselves.

Welcomed with a free glass of bubbly which was lovely!! Majority of waiters could understand English so was easy to order etc. Very lovely staff, food and drinks arrived quickly. Pricing is affordable. I ordered the Tex Mex burger which was amazing. The bottom bun was a bir soggy because of tomatoes i think but was still delicious. Quick service, delightful food with a great view of the sea and great decor of the restaurant! I would recommend
