These owners are THUGS. Be careful. They will up your charges to STEAL from you. I went on a Sunday afternoon with some friends, we ordered 3 drinks and a hookah. The bill was almost $300 USD. when I asked to speak to the manager to dispute they almost beat me up. Blocked my car from leaving, because I had parked inside, and told me that I had to pay.I will never go back there again.Please be safe, but I recommended you never go here. This is truly a place only for locals.

The bouncer really asked me what country I was from and said he heard people from my country gift their sneakers to people. Forget offended. If I said something out of turn or worse, I would have been in the wrong. I was literally just waiting for a cab. Do NOT give this place your money. They will rob you before you get robbed on the street.

A cute bar and dance club. Its small, in a shopping district and not what youre used to in the US. But the energy and the crowd here are what make it worth the visit. Get drinks, hookah, dance, and so on going in a cute and small bar and dance floor making the most of what matters most in life.

If you go to this club. please dont pay using any form of card!After my husband accidentally left his wallet at the resort, we decided to use my card to pay for drinks. This was the only place I used my card within the DR because I knew better than using my card and it was the last resort. As soon as I handed the young lady my card, she walked in the opposite direction of the cash register. My husband immediately got up to see where she went but she soon disappeared into a crowd of dudes. Luckily for me, my bank denied all the transactions!!! I had over 10 attempts of failed withdraw transactions from my bank account.Please be careful!!

Now I really enjoyed this spot. It was very local! Played only Spanish music and no top 40! Its very chill and easy to attend. Now... Their is like no dance floor and it is very small but you make it work! Also the whole parking lot is used with tables and chairs, so you can dance on that! But the cars coming in and out make it unsafe and awkward.... But I loved it here.

What a place! A taxi driver recommended me this one and I am so happy I listened to him. It was a love night out in Punta Cana surrounded by local people, dancing local music and having local drinks. What else could I ask for? Nothing really, it was way better than I thought it would be.

A night club is know for there music atmosphere and experience. This is not a might club. It feels more like this is where Street walking women find it easy to meet the tourists. I would like to just meet nice people without having to worry about being asked about meeting her in the bathroom or car or room for extra services. The music was ok but the service was less, unless you were buying the street walkers a drink. So sad.

If youre looking for a very chill, authentic Dominican night out - this is the place for you! I didnt realize until we get there that its actually a bar that spills out into the parking lot of a strip mall which is closed off to cars. They set up tables and chairs in the parking lot, where you can dance as well.Unlike Drink Point, the people here are very laid back and friendly. The music is mostly bachata, salsa and merengue so theres no English music. The drinks were fairly priced. While there were a handful of tourists,the majority of the people there were locals.We went here the first night and then tried Drink Point the second night, only to end up leaving Drink Point to come back to El Kan for a second night. Both nights we were there until after 2:00am and it didnt seem like the rest of the crowd would be dwindling anytime soon (we just had excursions planned the next day).I would definitely go back again if Im ever back in the DR :)

If you want to have the Dominican nightlife experience, you want to be at El Kan on a concert night which they have on an average of once a month. One of the best experiences in the country.

Great local place to go dance salsa, bachata and merengue. DJ is awesome! Lots of Tvs to catch up on Sports games of the day too. Mostly locals. But, unlike Drink Point, the majority are respectful, not sanky. Bathrooms are a little dicey. Do yourself a favor and tip the person outside the bathrooms gpr toilet paper. Wide range of drinks from single to bottle service. Friendly attentive staff! Can park right there for a small tip. Love it here! Fyi-from 6:30-11pm, a seperate area outside has 60 peso bottles of El Presidente while you catch the game.

Visited on a Monday and there were a few other tables occupied but quiet. Nonetheless the music was kept lively and opened late for drinks!
