Tasty bbq food. Friendly service

The best beef we ever had! We came here last year and this year we couldnt wait to come back. We got an empanada as starter, and the rump steak which comes with grilled vegetables and chimichurri. It was all so tasty, I cant even find words to describe it! Beware, the portions are huge, very good value for money. The service was also perfect, fast, friendly and with good recommendations. Its for sure a must go if youre in the area, we fully recommend it!PS: last year we also got the lemon chicken and entraña, we also recommend these!

Great Argentina food. If you are looking for a different cuisine to try, here will be the best option. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate Rib-eye steak which serves with grilled vegetable and flank meat with fresh salad. Both of them were delicious and fantastic!

This is an Argentinian restaurant located in the heart of Malaga. I dined here for dinner with a friend in June, we sat outside on a small table located in the alley and it was a lovely atmosphere - Highly recommend the mixed grill for two! It’s excellent value and very delicious! The waitress was lovely, unfortunately she didn’t know much English and we didn’t know much Spanish, however we managed just fine in the end. The food didn’t take too long either. I got two glasses of white wine for €3 each along with my meal which were also great value and well as tasty. Highly recommend!

When I lived in Malaga, this was my favorite place, together with friends and colleagues. Its now 10 years ago, but I still remember the good times and especially the good food. When I BBQ at home I compare my results towards what I remembered being served here. Coming back 10 years later, it still delivers the best steaks i ever had.

A must if you like meat. All the types of steaks are cooked at perfection, and they are juicy and super tasty. I would recommend to try also their grilled provoleta cheese, in particular the Dulce Picor. People who work there are super friendly and prices are reasonable. Definitely a place to be recommended.

Visited Farolito with my wife on my birthday. Great place to go for a steak! Good and personal service!Very central location, but feels a bit more authentic than the other restaurants in the center. Nice location in a quiet cozy alley.We highly recommed Farolito!

Incredible. Almost a joke how good this place is. If youre looking for great food worth its price, you must go here. We shared the BBQ for 2 and it was brilliant. The morcilla was a standout. Were only here in Malaga for a week and are already talking about going back for lunch. The chimichurri should be bottled up and sold. Service excellent, and the music being played inside was exclusively bangers. Just go!

I can only recommend it! Definitely the best food during our stay in Malaga, not only in terms of taste, but also the price-performance ratio is great!

We share a Parrillada for 2 and it was amazing! I am from Argentina and I can confirm this asado was authentic. It was served with chimichurri and we drank the house wine which was nice and refreshing. We had mollejas as an entre because they are delicious but pricy as everywhere 😋 Will come back!

We had a nice time at Farolito! The food has very good quality and it had the best desert! Try the chocolate semifreddo!

We had the baddest Day out of 10 in Malaga, finished off with a steak of nearly un-cheawable Meat and a Bottle of a very non-taste Wine. (Ordered a Nice Rioja from the Wine card but Got served the House Wine instead)All in all a non recomendable place.2 stars only because the salad was okay

Loved the place. Ask for their assortment of different meats - this is the best option for a company of 2-3 persons. The steak we had was 10 out of 10. Definitely, recommend the place.

Excellent steak house and BBQ by far the best in Malaga. Owner was very helpful in the ordering process and explained everything. The BBQ platter for 2 people @€22 is exceptional value for money. Highly recommended. Will be back soon.

Quite boring food and the service was bad. We asked for a bottle of water 3 times before we got it and we waited 1,5 hours to get our food. If you want to order then order the rump steak. Everything else is not worth the money.

Very nice place to eat barbecue meats and grilled vegetables.The staff is really nice and give a cool south america ambience to this place.If I had to return to Malaga, I would definetely go back there.Consider 12€ for a very large plate of delicious pork meat and grilled vegetables incl. a sauce (cant remember the namethat is amazing.

Amazing local restaurant; one of the best grill restaurants weve enjoyed in a long time. Weve greatly enjoyed the rump and skirt steaks, together with a beautiful vegetable dish. Friendly service, great location and atmosphere. Price is very reasonable.

El Farolito is one of those places you usually dont want everybody else to know about. It is quite small so it can sometimes take 15-20 minutes to be seated. And for a reason Food is excellent, fair priced and the service outstanding.

A cosy and friendly place with old vintage objects everywhere. The "corazon de quadril" was just perfect.

dont be put off by the location as its not on the main Street and could be passed by. This is a very unassuming restaurant however we were advised to go and to be honest it was one of the best steaks I have had and to top it off it was served with grilled veg not chips which was a nice change to the norm. Menu was not that extensive but for me it was adequate as sometimes there are too many choices. Price of the food for two including wine was very reasonable.

I often go to El Farolito when I am in Málaga. It is one of my favorite places to eat. My favorite food is Bocata de Vacío. The staff is very friendly. When weather is good, and weather is very often good in Málaga, then you can sit outside and enjoy your food in the streets of Málagas historical city center.It happens that you will have to wait a little while for your order, because often there are many clients. I like it so much that I usually wait.Takeaway possible, so you can enjoy your food somewhere else; we sit sometimes on the stairs at Plaza Uncibay or at the theater.
