El Cimarrón in Havana

El Cimarron is a fantastic place for food, and we were lucky enough to catch some drumming and dancing! They also have comfortable accommodation there in the Verdado neighborhood of Habana; Ill be returning for my next stay in Habana.

Great food, prices and customer service. We werent able to attend any of the programs they provide or free shows. But they seem interesting.

This is a wonderful, welcoming happy place to eat dinner. Owner and family often on site. Live music, special event classes...dance and painting... tasty food. Not a tourist place, but locals and tourists equally welcome by friendly staff. Worth the cab ride to reach it, outside and beyond walking distance of the touristy harbor. We ate there at least 3 times during a 7 day stay.

EL lugar es precioso..!!! los meseros muy amables y al menos la persona que nos atendió hablaba mas de dos idiomas , el grupo toca muy bien, la comida es rica y económica....

10 días en Cuba y les aseguro que en este lugar probe la mejor comida!!!! Un delicioso cerdo guajira con platano relleno, entre otras delicias. Los precios aceptables para la calidad de la propuesta (de 5 a 13 CUC las propuestas de comida, 1 CUC el agua, 1,5 CUC la cerveza nacional y 3 CUC el ron). Además muy buena música en vivo!!!! Entorno seguro, super recomendable!!!

Sabah kahvaltı ve akşam eğlenceli bir yemek için son derece ideal ve güzel bir mekan... Ayrıca konaklama hizmeti de veriliyor. Tavsiye ediyorum.

Ausgezeichnete kuban. Speisen. Und immer ein perfektes Programm. Immer einen Besuch wert.

Bon restaurant, prix raisonnable, bons produits avec un personnel très très sympathique. Musiciens le soir, je vous le recommande vivement.

Very poor quality food with a half of menu empty. Bad life music that you are forced to pay.

Lun des meilleurs rapport qualité/prix de la Havane. Le proprio est aux petits soins et la serveuse américaine est très sympa.Une note spéciale pour la langouste et le groupe de musique cubaine.

This is one of the best restaurants in Havana. I travel the world quite a bit abs have never had lobster as flavorful as here. The food is fresh and not salty. The service from the staff is tops. The drinks are creative and delicious and the atmosphere and live music makes El Cimarron a top restaurant in the Verdado. Ive been there for dinner and lunch and throughly enjoyed both.

The best place to eat at if youre a vegetarian or vegan. The staff is amazing and the venue has local bands playing.

Wir waren während der 5 Tage unseres Auftenthaltes in Habana Vedado sehr oft hier, manchmal nachmittags, aber meistens abends.Abends gibt es ab 20h oft schöne Livemusik. Das Essen ist super lecker und günstig, die Cocktails sind sehr gut, das Personal ist toll und super freundlich.Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir werden auch beim nächsten Habana Vedado Besuch wieder dorthin gehen.Ganz lieben Dank auch an Christa und Alexis für die netten Gespräche, besonders an dem Abend mit dem nichtendenwollenden Regen, wo wir noch zwischen schon hochgestellten Stühlen saßen und uns unterhielten!Wir hoffen, dass es das Cimarron noch sehr lange gibt und das alle eure Ideen und Projekte erfolgreich sind.Wir hatten bei euch eine tolle Zeit und nächstes Mal kommen wir nicht nur zum Essen ins Cimarron, da werden wir auch im Cimarron wohnen!

Family atmosphere delicious food and great prices. Run dont walk to this hidden gem.

Excellent food, excellent people and amazing art! The atmosphere is comfortable with a mix of young tourists, family of the owner Alexis, and local Cubans. It is by far my favorite hang out spot in Havana for consistently delicious meals and great vibes. This was the place my friends and I would meet up for breakfast before adventuring out and dinner for live music and chilling out.

When I was in Havana, this became my "go to" cafe hang-out. It has a friendly, college-town vibe, a simple, fine menu, good coffee, beer. You can meet people easily here, even with just a bit of Spanish. Crowd is friendly.-artsy.

We liked the food, quite expensive for a restaurant in Cuba but I was not disappointed. It was one of the best restaurant weve tried in La Havana.
