El Bar Bero in San Juan

Cocktails are tasty. Cyan was amazing and very attentive. She was so polite and made our first visit to this establishment a memorable one. I’d definitely recommend this place and her customer service to all my friends and family. If I could book her for my wedding just based on her personality I would. Thanks! & will be visiting again my next time in San Juan! :-)

I went to El Bar Bero, let me tell you the staff was great. The drinks was off the hook an the food was great. When I return Ill be making my first stop there. I recommend everyone to go here due to you sit an relax an enjoy your time.

Gracias a los hombres alli! Professional, friendly, como hermanos 8-Small place with authentic, laidback vibe. The staff is down to earth and can hold a great convo in both languages. The place turns into a craft cocktail bar after 7PM - Cant beat that! Highly recommend it for men looking for a cut or shape up. Perfect location and timing for our wedding out in Rio Grande while we stayed in San Juan.

Oh wow was I happy to be back at El Bar Bero. This is my second time here and as always the moment you step up to window glass the hostess is attentive as ever providing you with the information needed from what’s going on within the establishment to any wait times you might endure. As you walk into she talks you to the #classic menu chalkboard but are we here for the aesthetics or the drinks! Drinks … so last time I was here I stuck to the menu but this time I wanted to see what Bar Bero can bring to the table. As I explained to the hostess what I was interested in she did not need to walk to the bar and ask she instantly recommended a cocktail that fit my palate down to the tea! As a cocktail enthusiast traveling from places like Paris to NYC for some of the best cocktails - this is one place that never disappoints every time around. #gotococktailbar until next time y que VIVA Puerto Rico !

The cocktails are excellent. Speakeasy type. This is, however, NOT a gay bar, even though it pops up as a such.

It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had in a bar. The mood and the drinks were great. It wouldnt have been the same experience if it hadnt been for Sai. We put our entire faith in her cocktail choices and she even gave us some custom drinks specifically for our tastes. She made sure that we had a great night. Ask for her if you can and tip her well!

The cocktails are amazing. You can taste the quality and the intention behind the flavors. Also, Sai (not sure if this is how you spell her namewas so open and warm, she truly made our night. Sai single-handedly convinced us to try the bar on a night where no one was here and we couldn’t have made a better place to end our night! Also, the music was on point. Thank you for everything.

The drink selection is excellent if your looking to test your pallet. The food is good and fresh. Definitely a must go for the night cap. Ask for Cy (sci like sci-fishe is the best!!!!!!

Neat bar with delicious local drinks. They also make the classics. You can get a haircut during day time and a drink with friends after dark.

You need to call for reservations. The barbers are nice and polite Josue is a beard master. The shop is clean and is in a great location

I have been going to El Bar Bero since it opened. I have seen the evolution of their menu and gets better every day. Carlos the owner and Gato the bartender are the best humans ever. Their drinks are extremely unique. They take the time and ask the right questions to personally deliver the best cocktail experience to you. Not only that. They expanded their own brand of art and opened a barbershop next door with the same name, El Bar Bero. Gabi, Luis and Ronji 100% of the time work everytime with the freshest cuts and style. Reservations through booksy the app. Love them♡

Bar bero is a cool cocktail bar with an extensive cocktail list. The deck is original barbershop theme with various cozy seating places.

Weve been wanting a cozy, low key neighborhood bar with decent bar food and cant believe we only just found El Bar Bero! I loved the eclectic, vintage barbershop (berodecor, good lighting & music- but the drink options were what really impressed. They had all the best "original" cocktails- I had the moscow mule & my husband the house manhattan- along with your traditional island drinks, and they were all expertly made. The bar is really the main attraction of the room, and for good reason- the drinks are perfect!While this isnt a restaurant (so dont expect a server/ you go to the bar to orderthey do serve a few food items and again, exceeded our expectations. The fish tacos were delicious and the chicken/sausage sliders- something the door man recommended- were not only tasty but really original. The bill was like $40- which is hard to beat...! Were super excited to have this great local option so close to home!!!.(Broc did have an issue with there not being soap in the mens bathroom, but Im still giving 5 stars (the womens did!bc I doubt thats the norm...)

An awesome wide variety of drinks. The drinks are delicious and are prepared in a very cool way. I called the bartender an alcohol alchemist. Loved the original decor and hipster vibe.

Best joint in San Juan for tailored cocktails. Ambiance is unique, they even have a Barber shop so you can have a taste while getting groomed.

If you ever visit calle Loiza in Condado, dont forget to visit this bar. Great music, 90s rap slow music, not too loud so you can have a nice conversation. And the specialty drinks are strong.

Bar staff friendly and great about explaining how various liquor are made and better for making a specialty cocktail. Locals. Bilingual English / Spanish. Decor is barbershop which is fun. A lot of photos of famous people with beards & mustaches. Large chalk board of drinks and ingredients.

Great theme and the cocktails are great. One of my favorite spots to go to in San Juan for great cocktails. People are chill and the graffiti in the neighborhood is beautiful. Get there asap.

I may be biased since is my favorite spot. Try the drinks the yummy bar food. You can never go wrong with their fish tacos, a crash boat (2 or 3), and a shot of para pelo!

Fun hipster bar. Gotta speakeasy menu with great drink choices and good djing. Big open spaces inside, but not a club vibe.

Very cool cocktail bar. A lot of classic cocktails but also some very creative mixes. Bartenders kneeknew their stuff. Music included white stripes, black keys etc. Got into groovier stuff after a bit. Check it out. Cool experience.

We wandered in this joint and had a flat out blast. The drinks were delicious, the decor was totally cool and the owner and handful of patrons were the friendliest of people. You could put this place in any city and it would be a hit! YOU MUST GO HERE!
