El Arepaso de Frepers - Colombian restaurant in Neiva, Colombia
Delicious traditional Venezuelan food. Friendly and prompt service. Food is always great! Make sure to try their awesome Pabellón either on its own or in an Empanada!
Kinda overpriced for the food you get here. Not what I expected. We got a variety of food and just not really impressed.
I tried the "Pabellón Criollo" and it was delicious! Also tried the "Sopa de Res" and it was amazing as well!!You wont be disappointed if you are looking for a good taste of Venezuelan food.Friendly and courteous customer service.Overall great experice!
My wife and I ordered from here for the first time and was also our first time to enjoy Venezuelan cuisine. Everything was so fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Not too salty, try full of flavor. Perfectly marinated shredded beef of any kind, and some of the best plantains Ive ever eaten. I look forward to our next meal from El Arepaso.
Fresh and delicious arepa pollo! Clean with excellent service!
Great food! Would eat there again.
Delicious food and helpful staff.
It was my first time and itt was awesome! I loved it
The food is amazing, the staff is fantastic! This is my go to place and youll find me here at least once a month for their amazing Arepas!!
They continue serving quality food and excellent customer service.
Best food from Venezuela....close to ORU....excellent prices too
Got the pabellon and pollo arepa. The pabellon one was amazing. We also got the mini cheese empanadas for my kid and I ended up sneaking bites when she wasn’t looking. Price is really good for how big the portions are.
A Tulsa hidden gem! Wonderful little slice of Venezuelan cuisine! Nearly forgot to take a photo, these arepas were so good
Great, friendly service and absolutely delicious food! A hidden gem.
I dont know anything about Venezuelan food, but I do like empanadas, and this place has the best one Ive ever had. I think it was the Pabellon. Had beef, black beans, plantains and cheese. Awesomely good. Cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
An absolute Tulsa staple. Some of the best food I’ve had. The pabellon is the way to go.
OMG!!!! Absolutely delicious 😋 my husband and I both had Arapas, he had the beef, and I had the one that has plantains, cheese, beans, and beef. Both were out of this world, yummy!!!!! Super hot, tender meat, flavorful sauce, and excellent customer service by the lovely family that owns this restaurant!!!
Really good place to eat and Taste real Venezuelan plates. Excellent presentation, perfect flavor and authentic and great portion served… and most important great service!. Definitely recommended…
This place is wonderful! The food and the people. I eat Pabellón and I was delicious 🤤. Great restaurant to go. For me more than 5 ⭐️
I would rate this as a top-5 Latin restaurant in Tulsa. Anything that you order here will be delicious. I came with my wife and friend who was visiting from NY and she was genuinely impressed with the amazing food quality. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, but my favorite was the arepas. Apart from the great food, the service was also very good, they fixed everything quickly and were very nice. This is a must try if you live in Tulsa!
I decided to try their arepas and was not disappointed. The meat had been marinated and was tender, the arepas were flavorful, and the flan is amazing. I will definitely be coming back.
Words cannot even describe how good this food was. My soul ascended and I now know true love. El Arepaso? More like heaven con queso. The sauce that came with the arepas could heal wounded souls. This food covered me with a blanket, kissed my forehead, and said "Have a good nap. I love you". Sorry I did not get pictures, although, Im not sure you could capture the essence through a lens let alone a mortal tongue. Textbook definition of flavor town.
Fantastic food & fast friendly service. Such a wonderful surprise hidden in the little strip mall off 81st & Yale. Ive only had the beef empanada so far but it was so incredibly tasty, Im going to have to work my way up & down the menu just to say Ive tried everything.
Hidden secret jewelry of food. Their staff it friendly and nice. Their food is great. However, their restaurant is not that big. We got ours to go.
The chicken empanadas are very tasty! Crispy fried exterior, just-soft interior. The meat is juicy, flavorful and its a nice serving size for one person! Just remember to keep a plate or bowl under you when biting in because it will eventually start leaking! The arepas were surprisingly tough and crunchy. The meat seemed a bit dry compared to the empanadas. It was my first arepa. Definitely worth stopping by though!
I live around and what i can tell you about this restaurant is awesome you have no wait the food is juicy and always on target for a low traffic place i love it. It always brings me joy when i hear my family is ordering some
Eat here. The place is small, but clean and authentic. Staff is friendly and the food is fantastic!
I was so tired of the same ol food. We moved in the area recently and decided to give this place a try. Omg I am so glad we did. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be going back.
I have never had Venezuelan food before and I fell in love with the cuisine. The best empanadas I’ve ever had. The empanadas were made fresh and had so much great flavor. ¡Que Rico!
Me gustaría mostrarte un foto pero no puedo parar de comer estos Arepasos tan deliciosos!!!Tulsa has some wonderful, authentic Mexican options but there is so much more to enjoy in Latin food and Arepaso brings that South American flavor in a very friendly concept - sandwich form. Our favorite is the Pabellón because it has everything. Savory/Sweet deliciousness in a spliced typical corn arepa filled with shredded tender beef, beans, sweet plantain slices, shredded cheese served with a side of what I would describe as a creamy, not spicy, but super tasty version of chimichurri that must be added to the food.I also had the alfajores (cookiesfilled with dulce de leche and rolled in coconut. Yum! I love anything with arequipe. Thanks for bringing a taste of South America to Tulsa!
Amazing food and amazing service! I love the authentic taste and feeling here. The women are so sweet and passionate about their work. Do yourself a favor and try something new, you wont regret it!
Noticed this place and so glad I did. Food was delicious. There were 3 of us. We had the shrimp arepa, chicken patacon and pabellon. I would recommend any of these. We also had the flan and tres leches. The tres leches was the best I have had. Prices are around $8-15 for entrees. Place was clean, service was quick and friendly staff.
Delicious Venezuelan food in the heart of Tulsa. The pabellón was very tasty. My kids enjoyed the tequeños and pastelitos de pollo. We will be back for more!💛💙❤️
Excellent food, & large portions. I had the Pepito, and it was delicious, but could of easily split. My son had the empanada, and my husband some sandwich with shredded beef, black beans, & plantains. Will definitely go back.
This is a great little cafe. My fiance loves the huge steak sandwich and Im crazy about the fried cheese pastelitos. The beef ones are also pretty good, especially with the avocado sauce. They do dine-in or carry-out and weve had good experiences with both.
Excellent service and delicious Venezuelan’s food, I will definitely come back
I recommend this place as they have better prices and no extensive wait time compared to the Peruvian place. I’ve had Colombian empanadas and they’re very different from the Venezuelan. I would say Venezuelan empanadas are good if you are looking for more protein based as it’s filled with only meat inside. To me that gets overwhelming so I prefer the Colombian since they have other stuffings like potatoes and not just meat. But will come again to support them.
Simple menu with delicious items. We ordered a variety of arepas as we try to eat gluten free. They were quite flavorful and perfect size for lunch. We also ordered the fried plantains. They came with cream and cheese but were delicious by themselves.
Stopped in with my fiancée on a whim since neither of us has ever had Venezuelan food before and were both glad we did! I got the Pepito sandwich and it was a HUGE portion; definitely good for two meals and so so delicious! My fiancée tried a few different different pastelitos which were also amazing with a creamy avocado sauce. Highly recommend it!
First time experiencing this type of food. We loved it and will definitely come back and bring others with us
Never had Venezuelan food before. We decided to try something new after visiting the aquarium. We both got the arapos. They were incredibly delicious especially with the green sauce served on the side. The cinnamon dairy drink is awesome also! I would definitely come back if I lived in the area!
Great arepas and authentic sodas! Pretty filling with 1.
Truly a hidden culinary gem in Tulsa! Their empanadas and plantain appetizers are absolutely fantastic! We have had a variety of menu items and not one has disappointed. The staff is always very nice and the affordable price point is the gravy on the biscuit!
I had heard good things about this restaurant and decided to order from DoorDash. We got the cachapa con queso, pernil, queso blanco venezolano, pabellon and alfajore. Everything was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh and hot, packaged well and made and delivered in a timely manner. I will definitely be ordering from here again! Highly recommend!
Delicious. Very authentic quick Venezuelan food, at a very affordable price. A local family business that I’d be more than happy to support.
Best food and service around!!Come here every chance I get. Highly recommend if looking for authentic Venezuelan food.. 👍🏽👍🏽
Family restaurant with thisblittle lady making all the food fresh. I added cheese to my Pastelito with Carne Mechada.
Great meal! I love that they’ve stayed true to authentic flavors. It would’ve been easy for them to Americanize their menu, but by staying authentic what you get when you visit El Arepaso is great, clean, simple flavors that stand on their own. You can also experiment by adding one of their sauces like garlic, pink or an avocado and cilantro blend. Multiple Venezuelan items boast different breading and unique tastes. Really enjoyed the imported sodas. We enjoyed sharing them amongst the group and debating the flavors and favorites. It is always enjoyable to hear the backstory of the establishment and its owners. Fun to have people and a business to root for.I can vouch for the Arepas Pabellon. I’ll definitely be back for the Pepito dish and to sample the brown cane sugar lemonade.
Tucked into the strip mall, you might overlook this gem. That would be a mistake. El Arepaso is delicious!I ordered the Pabellon arepa (picturedand the Tostones. The Tostones were crunchy, yet slightly pliable. Great bite-through texture. I cant recommend them enough. The Pabellon came with black beans, shredded cheese, plantains and shredded beef. It was crunchy and sweet and savory all at once. Fresh made and delivered right to our table. There were a variety of sauces at the table as well, each one had a very satisfying finish and flavor.I will most certainly be back.
This place has become one of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. This is a family owned and operated family business. The food is always fresh and delicious. Im fairly certain I had everything from the menu but I cant find a favorite. Their are the nicest people with great customer service.
