Well first of all the food was great. Just dont expect to get your food quick since its near a university and its cheap so theres usually a lot of people there.

Great food, slow service

If you like playing pool, this is a good option, rather than that everything is from poor to avarege. Alcohol is more expensive than other bars around the area, and food ... well the food is ok, the problem is that you wait too long for just getting attended, all waitress pretend that you are not there, you could probably wait more than 20-25 minutes to get any attention.

Nice place with 3 floors that have different enviroments. The first floor if you like to play pool this is your place. Second floor is the restaurant with some nice and cheap food. The third floor is the balcony were you can relax

Food and service were both great. The prices are awesome too.

My favorite bar to have lunch in! Cheap beer and cheap lunch! Highly recommend.

Second floor for the restaurant. First floor is the pub. Food is better than expected and very reasonable prices.Service is good! They have a third floor but it was closed and the time we arrived for lunch.Dont have parking on premises but you can park out in the street nearby.

The aesthetics and overall feel of the place is great. The servers are amazing people. Both the drinks and food are of great quality and looks. If you are ever on the area do not miss this great place.

Interesting bar restaurant in the middle of San Juan with a tremendous criollo gastronomy. It is across Dreams Hotel and not to far from the airport

1/23/2019 ..Great place, good ambience... They need strongly training to security personal.. They dont have the minus idea to control situations. Just because a customer under the influence of alcohol, cursed the door security person, he made such a big issue, that it seems that the world was ending... up to the point that unnecessary, another employee took out his weapon... what a show... they had to close the store for that night.. totally ridiculous....

El 8 de Blanco is an incredible place. It has an amazing ambient for family and friends, and its food is just delicious. I totally recommend it :)

Though the food is mostly good, the service is underwhelming. You can order carryout and expect to wait an hour or more for it to be served. Not to mention it feels to be understaffed. I forgot why I stopped coming here about a year or two ago, and this evening I relearned my lesson: it’s extremely slow. Don’t come here if you have class or appointments scheduled after. Only come here if you want to end your day.

The food tastes great and the environment is very diverse for the different atmospheres that it presents. (Club, Restaurant, and Chill Area)

Food took long to prepare, hamburguer was salty, bread tasted stale, I suppose its good as a bar though. Or when youre too drunk to know what the food taste like.

A university type bar, restaurant. Located in the heart of downtown of Rio Piedras. The food was fairly decent, and the drink prices were good. The first floor is more of a grungy, dark bar area. The second floor which was much brighter, like a regular restaurant establishment.

Food is awesome here. Its mostly for College students since its nearby the University area, there are not enough tables sometimes as its usually crowded at lunch hour, but the food is awesome. The stuffed chicken breast, CARBONARA pasta, hamburgers, even loaded fries. Thats comfort food.

Awesome food and drinks with great prices and a college atmosphere, though I always go with my kids.Great big burgers with amazing combination of flavors.

Good food. Great place for dancing and having a good time with friends. Its very secure considering where its located. Definitely not a place to bring young kinds. Its a bar for adults where alcohol its serve. I would have give this place a higher rating but the service takes longer than usual, but its understandable considering Its always crowded.

Has a corner for every mood and social group. The best spot close to the university. Great food. Great prices. Great views.

Service depends on the time you go. If you go at night, its usually not good, if you go during the day service is average. Food is good though!

One of my favorite (if not my favoriteplaces to go eat, drink and hangout. The food is amazing, it has great quantity and flavor, and all for a very reasonable price. The service is also great and the waiters are always giving you the required attention. Also, if youre looking for a place where college scene hangs out; trust me this the place. Its just at a walking distance from the UPR: Rio Piedras. Ive been here many many times and I have great memories from this place.

Even though service suck, wow, the food always makes it up for you. Waiting time is normal adter you ask for the food. But servers are too busy to give you the type service that, I know they wish. In other words, servers are really friendly and on point. But the place itself is too much for anyone.

Favorite bar. No gimmicks, just cheap drinks, music, food, and pooltables. The food service is very slow though and like all of Río Piedras, it gets very crowded on thursdays. I also recommend using the 2nd floor bathrooms which are cleaner. There is a smokers area on the roof.

Its a wonderful Sport Bar to spend​ with very Cold Beer, and others Drinks, good cooking.. variety..and Pool Tables.. nice place to enjoy.m

We went on a Thursday night and it was very full. There were a lot of college kids and they had a mix of live music and remixes. The drinks on the second floor are better than the main floor. The piña was amazing there. Their vodka cranberry wasnt very good. Overall great atmosphere with English speaking servers.

The food is reheated and they use mashed potatoes almost in every plate to make the clients believe that its a lot of food or large. Also, the service is terrible. The only thing that it is worthwhile are the frenchfries and the beer.

Meh. Food is uninspired, but its really a bar so dont know what I was expecting. We were just about the only people there on a Saturday night (apparently some big happening on the west side of the islandbut the tacos were a loooooong time coming. Steak tacos were nothing to write home about. Quesedilla came with only one of four promised accompaniments. Meh.

This place is good for hanging out and drinking but for me, it is not a good place to eat. I ordered Arroz mamposteao with "pechuga rellena de trifongo" I did not like it, it did not have any flavor nor did it taste good. I guess I should have just ordered a burger (they are supposedly good).

Its good, but not excellent. Food is average. They have vegetarian options. Service is good and they have restrooms, two floors, downstairs is the bar, upstairs is the restaurant plus bar. A good place to hang out during the night. They have a wide variety of "chichaitos" of many flavors.

Its definitely a local night out but very tourist and gay friendly place with karaoke, make your taxi reservations yeah!

Good food, not expensive. Good variety of dishes, drinks and desserts. It is a three story building, with two bars, slot machines, bar games and pool tables.
