Great value for price, exactly what we needed. Good diner and breakfast with a view to the Nile.

Our stay there was short but it was exactly what we were looking for. Located in the Nubian town, in front of the Nile.The room was a bit warm but comfortable and the place, in general, is beautiful and well decorated.The staff is friendly and willing to help you.

This hostel is one of the best I’ve ever been. I will never forget their great hospitality, smiles and their beautiful hearts. If you’re looking for a accommodation with soul - this is the right place to be. Breakfast was amazing and it is the cleanest place we’ve been in all Egypt. The view from the terrace is wonderful. One of the best places to stay in western shore of Aswan. The rooms are good and clean, staff is very helpful and always smiled. Also the views are incredible.

Very relaxed place to wind down for a good price. Wonderfully suitable for independent travellers and backpackers. The owner, Khaled, can arrange lots of things, e.g. felucca trips, tours, etc.

The place is clean, though not your typical hostel or hotel ever for sure. The staff were friendly, and the manager there cooks many of the meals. The meals were repetitive, yet they were warm and homey. The rooms have windows to the lounge area, so it wasnt easy to sleep while people are having loud fun out there. There were no towels, but we asked for them. It was tiring to go 3 floors upstairs to the room with a kid, so if you have kids, reserve a room on the ground or the first floor. Also, they hire differently abled people, mostly auditory impaired, it would be nice to give them extra tips or something. If it werent for their location (on a hill, and it needs 20-30 mins walking every time to go to the ferry station), Ive given it 5 stars.

It is fantastic place with old fashion and simple design

The place itself was beautiful with a stellar view. The food was also very delicious. Most importantly, our host Khaled, was the most sincere and helpful person ever. He arranged Abu Simbel tour for us as well as made sure we went to the Kalabsha Temple with his car. He also dropped us to the train station himself and had his cousin pick us from the airport. Everyone else at the property is also very friendly.It felt like home and we would definitely go back again!

The place is beautiful and the staff is extremely nice, helpful and friendly. The host, Khaled is very helpful and trust worthy. The food is also amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Super chill place to spend your time in and around Aswan. Rooms are pleasant enough, AC works well, clean rooms. Roof top terrance completes it coming back after touring all day, silent village. Easy going, a place to relax. Little out the way but easy to arrange a taxi with them. They arranged everything for me, no issues!

10 OUT OF 5 STARS. My friend and I traveled here during the off-season for tourism in Egypt, but this place was incredible. The views, the service, and the experience were AMAZING. We traveled from Cairo to Aswan by overnight train (which was an adventure by itself), and the owner picked us up in his own vehicle and brought us directly to Ekadolli. It may not sound that big of a deal, but it was! They provided safe, reliable transportation for 2 girls traveling on their own, and we didnt have to deal with haggling or trying to find a reasonable taxi. <br/>Service-wise, you cant beat this place. The owners son hung out with us like we had been friends for years, and I still get cravings for Egyptian food now that Im home, because of the cook and his skills! To say that food was just "delicious" is a grave understatement. <br/>If you want a true Nubian experience, I whole-heartedly recommend this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing stuff & a beautiful nile view, you will feel just like home

Staying at Ekadolli Nubian was one of the highlights of our Aswan trip. We had a memorable experience at the guesthouse and will always remember Mr Khaled’s hospitality.First off, the guesthouse is quite far away from the main city of Aswan so it’s perfect if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. Mr Khaled, the owner and manager is always happy to offer you a ride to the city in his car so that’s not a problem. We were a little worried about transport but he took us to the city. There’s also local transport available which is much cheaper than taxi.Our room was large and well furnished with clean bathrooms. The view from the rooftop is incredible and overlooks the Nile and the city. The food is homemade by the cooks who do a good job of serving you local cuisine - our meals were delicious although a tad expensive. But everything was fresh. The staff are extremely polite and well behaved. Mr Khaled is always there on the roof and we found him a friendly and generous host. He arranged the trip to Abu Simbel for us and it was very reasonable price.Overall staying at the Nubian guesthouse was a very happy experience and I would recommend it to all. Enjoy the hospitality and good food on offer at a budget!

Very nice nubian guesthouse. The owner & all the staff very good and will make you feel welcome. Also they will help arrange any kind of trips you want. Great location and view and very good service

Amazing experience. Rooms are humble but very clean and well equipped. The food is terrific! Breakfast and dinner are included and the amount and the quality of the food are beyond expectations. The staff is very helpful and they provided us with a taxi driver that took us everywhere and became the only trustworthy guide we happened to find in Aswan.The hostel is a bit far away from Aswan, so either you tell the staff to call/provide you with a taxi (that way you will not pay extra moneyor you can walk until the main road and take a mashrou (microbusfor 6 EGP to the city center. Although the hostel is a bit far, its location (a Nubian villagemakes it worth.Mohamed Amin, Henar and Teresa

The guesthouse was better than any hostel in Cairo, also considering the fact that this place is in the middle of an undeveloped location. The service is amazing, beds are nice to sleep in and the view is absolutely gorgeous. Would recommend anyone to stay here while in Aswan.

Stayed here two times and enjoyed it! Great view over the nile river! Good food! Just keep in mind that the guesthouse is not in the city center. The host can organize a ride easily though.

Great location if you like a Nubian village. Not far to the airport. Good view to old and new Assuan dam. Rooftop terrace wonderful. Rooms smart.

Loved it. Great owner, who is making sure that your stay would be very comfortable. He can arrange everything with very reasonable prices. Homely food- every day something new. Little away from city- other side of Nile. Mindblowing views to Nile. No ATMs around, maybe one somewhere. Its in the middle of a friendly small village.

Very nice and lovely guest house in a nubian village. The room was clean and I had a private bathroom. The terraces are great, with an amazing view on the Nile. The staff was soooo friendly and helpful. I had such a great stay!

The place is nice,with a great view on the nile.Also,the Aswans storage tank can be seen from it.The house owner is very friendly.Moreover,the region,in which the guest house lies,is wonderful.It is El Nouba region that has one of the nicest and kind hearted people on the planet.

Had a wonderful stay end of May 2017. Host waited up for us as we didnt arrive until shortly after midnight. The view from the top floor is quite excellent. Room spacious and clean. Welcoming air com.

Khalid the owner was very friendly. The guys who work there are quiet dont speak English but are very helpful. Things like making breakfast for us before we left for the Airport at 3:30 am.. unbelievable... So Thank you. Ekadoli Is undergoing a bit of building work at the moment The clientele are largely Egyptian. Good value and the only way to experience or stay in Gherb Sohel if you are coming from abroad as Ekadoli is the only Guesthouse in the village with online booking. The only thing that really broke my heart was the WiFi.. :( I would recommend this area in a heartbeat..

The most unwelcoming guesthouse experience Ive ever stayed in Aswan . The owner was doing renovations and let workers in my room leaving it dirty with footprints over my bags !!! and without even asking for permission. Room service was very poor accompanied with a rude attitude. NOT A RECOMMENDED GUESTHOUSE AT ANY LEVEL, PAY MORE AND ENJOY A NICER VIEW AND HOSPITALITY, CHEERS

Had a very bad experience in this hotel, owner is totally not professional, he mistreats his egyptian guests while smiling at foreigners only so he is somehow racist, he talks inappropriately to guests. The room is very basic and they do not clean it at all almost. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
