Einstein St.Gallen in Appenzell

Beautiful hotel! Centrally located to the village of St Gallen! The bar bar is very nice!Very clean! And the desk people very nice! You can get different pillows for your room!

Very good « historic » option with lots of character and that little something that makes you want to go again. Located in the middle of the city and within five walking minutes from the station. Standard rooms might be a little small but are very well decorated and provide all modern business amenities (USB charge). Wonderfull bar lounge in a typical 1900 style where you can spend hours trying from exotic gin to exclusive single malt. Loved it!

Only drawback was you have to exit the hotel and go to another building to have your meals.Friendly people. Large nice rooms.

Steps from the Abbey Library St. Gallen- one of the worlds most beautiful libraries- as well as the luxury shopping and restaurant district housed among the historic village. Modern-contempoary rooms are updated, luxurious, and the tri-lingual staff are as friendly and as helpful as you would expect in a 4-star hotel- or even a 5-star. Included breakfast buffet was the largest we experienced during our 2 weeks in Switzerland.

Not suited for conscious eaters/vegetarians/vegans. I attended one week of conference at the congress center, without sleeping there. The rooms are good. The service is good too, everyone is very friendly. Food is good but what I find really strange in 2022 is that they have zero "food awareness". Some food has a card saying the name of it in German, but its impossible for both a German and especially anybody else, to understand what it actually is. I had to ask every time which option is vegetarian, which ingredients it has. For vegetarians its manageable if you only eat the croissant or the spaghetti, or if you have time to go and ask, or to Google local food terminology, for vegans absolutely impossible, and with allergies theres also no information at all. Havent seen any indications that they use ecological/responsible/organic ingredients either.

Hotel is the Best in town.The Restaurant, however is simple Amazon.10/10.Food, Präsentation and the outstanding Staff...best food in switzerland

Really nice hotel with decent rooms. It is worth mentioning the "pillow menu" that allows you getting different pillows. Staff was kind and efficient, helped me with the mobility ticket and resolving any problems I had. Breakfast is also great, with fresh orange juice, pastries, vegetarian omelets and homemade smoothies.

Only used the restroom while at the bar, very clean and stocked. They have a cigarette machine next to the restroom which is very helpful for tourists whe just want a quick smoke.

Excellent service, the breakfast is brilliant with great variety. Located in the town centre, closed to sightseeing places, restaurants, shopping centers. Very comfortable room, great value for money.

Excellent service! I had some morning meeting that can’t have breakfast in hotel, they are so kind prepared a full bag for me. Rooms are quiet & very comfortable! Staff are very friendly!

Maybe one of the more expensive hotels here in St. Gallen but definitely worth the money. The rooms are beautiful and so is the Spa. The breakfast is great and the personell is really nice. They also have a car parking service.

The hotel is on a nice location, quite near to the old part of the city, with good services and food. Still, quite overpriced, to my belief.The pool is really interesting, as its bottom is transparent and toy can see the people, practicing in the gym on the lower floor. Be careful when swimming there, as I got a facial rash after swimming for less than an hour.
