Counter-service chain offering egg sandwiches, soups, salads, baked goods & a variety of bagels.
Our favorite bagel shop in town. The variety can sometimes seem overwhelming... in a good way!
Staff is friendly and treats you like a regular even if youre not. Food is always fresh.
enjoyed a couple of good bagels..and a cup of coffee!friendly staff..nice to see employees looking happy where they work.
Great food with a friendly staff. Restaurant is clean and very accessible. Only knock is an obnoxious and loud older counter person with an East Coast accent who never shuts up. If you can get past that its definitely a great place to eat.
Friendly and quick staff! Very clean store. We enjoyed our meal
Very fresh, delicious. Many different types of bagels.
Since when is it a mortal sin to order a lox bagel on a cranberry bagel with honey almond cream instead of plain???? No need for guilt trip - walked out and NEVER coming back here again! Poor service and snarky management 😫😫😫
Can never go wrong with this chain. I’m always left a satisfied, happy customer 😭💗.
If you ever in New Braunfels or just passing by this is a must stop if you a bagel fan. Great selection and great taste!
Wife was not thrilled but the kids enjoyed it.
(7/13/22 Update: Still wonderful! We had a wonderful breakfast!
The manager there in the morning is super friendly and professional, as well as his staff. . I love this Einstein m
We’ve been Einstein Bros Bagels fans since our grown kids were just little. (Noah’s Bagels)We recently moved near New Braunfels and discovered this location. The shop is clean and their staff was super friendly. We got their Dozen Box (13!with a choice of 2 cream cheese tubs. Everything was great. This will be a regular for us!
It was the worst visit ever. They lost the order and then only had 4 of the onion bagels we ordered. The manager was rude and said "" just give him his money back. " My husband just got plain bagels which was not why we drive from GardenRidge to New Braunfels to not get what we wanted. Very disappointed in the whole staff really not caring. I( his wife sat in the car for over 30 minutes waiting for my husband to get the bagels and when he did return the anger was a 10. Think we deserve better service as we are regular customers and not tourist.
Very good bagels and super friendly and knowledgeable staff
Heard good things about this place and I love bagels , so husband and I went in. Online saw the jalapeño brisket egg,They didn’t have it☹️. Tried something else and just wasn’t happy.
Used to be decent location but increasingly becoming less so. It’s like pulling teeth to actually find enough coffee in any of the coffee pots, or get creamers. Bagels are generally okay but tend to be slapped together haphazardly most of the time, filling may or may not actually be on the bagel when you open it. Just think it’s a shame the quality is getting a bit dodgy, other locations generally do pretty well.
We have been here a few times so far, and each time was pretty good! I would highly recommend getting there earlier in the morning, because the one time we stopped by later, they didnt have much options to choose from.Today on the other had had lots to choose from including layered donuts! Kids love those! The bagels are yummy, and toasted just right. I ordered the ham and Swiss bagel sandwhich with egg ( I was picturing it was made with a fried egg, to have that nice egg yoke to dip the rest of the sandwhich in, but it was more of a pre-made processed type egg... if that makes sense... still tasted good. But if your like me and love those egg yolks, this didnt have that.My son got to pizza bagel, and loved it as usual.Over all the place was clean, staff was busy with orders and engaging with customers, friendly for the most part. Prices wernt to shabby. And everything came out in less then 5 min, even with a packed place! We will be back, and would definitely recommend!Ps if you love chocolate chips, the chocolate chip coffee cake is delicious! (I think thats what its called)
Took my wife here for her first time she absolutely loved it. They make sure you get what it is exactly you want and the price is not bad coffee is really good
Never been to an Einsteins Bagels before and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of bagels and other food items. Fast, friendly, and good.
I love the this place. Everything is super yummy. If it wouldnt annoy my husband, Id probably go every day. My only complaint is that this location closes so early:(
Their bagels are great. Apple raisin, cinnamon sugar with smir of honey almond makes it just perfect.
This place is always clean with helpful and prompt staff. They sailed through the covid experience never missing a beat and always had fresh bagels for sale and a smile on their faces, under the mask of course!
Staff is always friendly. Very busy location and sometimes your order can get lost but the staff work hard at making up for that with a friendly positive attitude.
What Im trying to understand is why a customer can not have their order the way they want their order. Yesterday and today I was told if it was a rush we cannot double toast a bagel. That shows laziness and poor customer service. Today the cashier turned around and asked the manager if they can double toast. Thats CRAZINESS. You are there to service your community with orders that the customer ask for.
We walked inside they said they’d be with us in a minute (there was nobody else inside when we got therewhile waiting three other people walked in we waited 25 minutes for someone to take our order as we’re doing our order and everything and I go to Pay she proceeded to tell us they do not accept bills over $20. There was no sign on any doors no sign at the desk or anything so we sat there 25 minutes ordered food and was able to leave with nothing. Slow service with a not so great attitude.
Bagels were hard. I’ve never had a bad experience with this chain until I visited this location. Also, No indoor eating option.
I walked in about two weeks ago and heard an older lady yelling & cursing at another employee in front of everyone. I thought how rude and highly unprofessional. If you cant control your temper you should not be workingwithpeople. I felt tremendously bad for the young lady as I could see the pain on her face. Young lady dont ever let anyone talk to you like that again. To the older woman, dont take out your failures on someone younger than you.
Everything tasted amazing! Great coffee and the bagles are bomb. Try the different cream cheese. My favorite is the honey nut.
The Brisket sandwich was ok. The sauce is what made it good. Unfortunately it sat on the bagel for 10 minutes before the sandwich was made so the inside of the bagel was soggy. The customer service was definitely lacking. There wasnt any friendliness or joy in either of the two workers up front. After the customers backed up to 8 deep, then the 2 people came from the back to "help." I could see why the employees were unhappy due to the barking leadership style. I gave 3 stars because I love Einstein Bagels at other locations.
Wife placed in-store order...she ordered 3 bagels with shmear & jelly and an Applewood bacon & egg sandwich on a cinnamon sugar bagel and hashbrown and was charged $28. She thought it was a little high...it was. 1st she was charged for the jelly - come to find out there was NO jelly and they were charging her for shmear. The Applewood sandwich was on some weird bagel (she showed them a picture of the sandwichand told them on a cinnamon bagel - didnt realize this until she was home. They refunded her almost $12, but that didnt include the sandwich. I called and was told no refund for the sandwich; would remake it. Not sure if its worth the drive. Worst order-taker ever. Never have a problem when the real manager is on duty.
Just went in at 11:45 on a Sunday morning. My daughter and I were the only ones at the counter and neither of the two employees would even acknowledge us for over five minutes, even though they looked at us when we walked in. . Then the girl walked past us but never ask for our order and never acknowledged us. I finally told the man behind the counter that it was rude of him and he would not even acknowledge me then, just looked at me and then looked away. He even answered the phone and took orders after we had been there waiting. I will never eat here again
I drove 35 minutes to come and snag some bagels from this place. It was the best bagel sandwich I have ever had! Also the hashbrowns are to die for I forgot the woman’s name who was working but she was so sweet and I appreciate the hospitality!! I would definitely come here again no questions asked!!
Came back two days in a row to treat myself after walking that steep hill at Landa Park. Service from the cashiers, "New York" & other whose name i forgot (sorrywas great. I was undecided on the type of coffee i wanted the cashier (whose name I forgotwhipped up a coffee drink that i really enjoyed called "Turttle" (caramel, white chocolate, & Mocha). I recommend for those who love coffee.
I love this bagel shop! The bagels are delicious and you can put almost anything on them. They have a. variety of flavors. My favorite is Pretzel!
Best service in town!!! I love visiting Einsteins, Rita the manager has an incredible team of smiling faces always ready to give great service, shout out to Jaguer Burton for always putting a smile on my face and of course, DELICIOUS breakfast and lunch options! Looking for a great bite, great coffee and a cozy place to dine? Head to Einsteins!
Very Friendly and helpful staff here and the bagels are amazing. Good spot for breakfast if youre looking for a change from tacos or donuts. Location is always clean and well stocked and the parking isnt much of an issue even in peak times.
Ive only had one negative experience here, but theyve long since made up for it with their awesome attitudes and thoughtful service. The bagels and sandwiches are consistent and tasty. Check it out if you havent yet!
I had been to the local Einstein once before and with the new promotion of $8 for a bakers dozen of fresh and ready, I decided to give it another shot as my previous experience had not been overly fantastic but certainly not worthy of keeping from trying it once more. I walked in and was greeted at the register in the typical good morning fashion. I was asked what I wanted and I stated, "I would like your $8 bakers dozen fresh and ready deal." The gentlemen behind the counter said alright, would you like to pick or should I," I stated that I would pick them. I picked out my 13 bagels as well as a spread to go on them. The total came up to 17 and some change. I questioned the clerk and he stated, "Thats for our fresh and ready." It accured to me, I hadnt asked what exactly fresh and ready meant. I assumed that it was simply the store slogan for their morning bagels. My biggest frustration is this. I said specifically what I was looking for. The gentlemen behind the counter was extremely vague on his response. It seems to me that I should have been informed as to what my options were. Where has customer service gone? I paid the total and went on about my business. Im pretty sure I wont be going back to this location.
Great bagels, cold press coffee and sandwiches. I had the albacore on an onion bagel. My wife had bacon avocado and turkey on a green Chile bagel. The only thing i would like differently is the bagel actually toasted, not just heated up. I will male that request next time.
I really enjoy going to this place in the late mornings on the weekends. They offer a variety of different options for bagels and their schmear as well. You get a good quality bagel at a reasonable price. Staff members are nice and the place is clean every time I have been there.
The manager Rita Farley was given receipts that showed we were charged to much two days in a row and refused to reimburse us. We were also given the wrong bagel. The staff is nice but the manager sucks.
Would give 5 stars if it wasnt for the extremely rude manager named Dawson who was working this morning.. we were using Samsung Pay and he told us it didnt work there in a very short rude snippy tone. Pretty bad experience when the manager has a crappy attitude and even AFTER Samsung Pay worked he refused to apologize and just kept insisting why he was right to act so rudely...Jacob who was working the front register was very nice and helpful though as well as the girl who was making our drinks, she recommended a drink that was AMAZING and as long as those two are working Ill go back, but if I have to deal with Dawsons poor attitude I think Id rather take my business elsewhere...
What great and awesome customer service. I was having some trouble bring up my email and the gentleman just asked for my phone number and he also made me aware of a free coffee. This is why I love coming here. Food was great like usual (farmhouse). They have a new brand of coffee by the way. Also very clean like usual. Keep up the great job you all do.
Fun place to get breakfast!!! Everyone is warm and friendly. The manager, Rita has a great staff. David, Jag, Scarlett, Jacobe, the new peeps and those that have left after the summer....all make you feel welcome.
Rude, incompetent... and it is just bagels...Approached the counter where the lady just stared at us. I said "good morning." (no response). We then asked for 2 french toast bagels (1 w/ reduced fat strawberry cream cheese, 1 w regular strawberry cream cheeseand a bagel with lox, no onions and a fruit cut for dine in.1. To-go bag.2. Onions.3. No fruit cup4. 2 identical french toast bagels (i could not tell the difference)I went to ask, which was which? They could not tell. Then we discover they only have reduced fat strawberry cream cheese. Where was that statement when we ordered? They said would you like them remade? I said fine.... "oh sorry we dont have any more french toast bagels. Would you like a plain one?""No I will just take the one I just handed you."Oh... we threw that away. 😑 Here is your $3.New Braunsfels has been a epic disappointment; this was an appropriate conclusion of our visit.
Einstein has good bagels, lots of selection and friendly people. But its often freezing inside and several times over the last month when I come in the cappuccino machine has been busted.Updated to 5 Star: I am updating this review because the people who work there are fantastic. They fixed the temp issues in the restaurant also.
So picking up a quick Togo items and Scarlett was absolutely amazing!!!!!! 😁 she made me feel very welcome and had a smile on her face that made me feel happy. I seen her take care of the other customers with such a professional demeanor and same welcome smile that she gave me. Very few people have the charisma that I she gives everyone at this location. Highly recommend eating here, makes the restaurant ALOT BETTER!! 😁
Not even a smile from morning cashier. Staff needs customer service training, unfriendly and borderline rude. My wife and I are frequent visitors here, we asked for apple cinnamon bagels and were told “someone just called and order them all” , I joked “but we are here, they won’t miss just one”. She just looked at me with a “ I don’t care, I’m just here for a paycheck” look.
Amazing food and college student atmosphere here at a convenient location not far from I-35. Usually lots of traffic due to nearby traffic signals, so sometimes a pain to get in and out of. However, the food here is well worth it. I have it 4 stars due to the wait time being a bit longer than desired and a hard location to get to as well as a bit pricey (quality ingredients though!). However, I must recommend this establishment to anyone passing through or locals. Come for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Just dont come during rush hour if youre in a rush! The line can be out the door at times!
