Awesome place, great ambiance and very good staff

Smwich not good ,

The quality of food for the price you pay was not up to standard when we ate. The steak was under cooked twice, it was sent back as it was raw in the middle, came back and still was not medium/well done. The fish n chips looked like it came out of the freezer- not hand made - fair enough but that’s how it looked. The fajita chicken meat was small lumps of meat - overall okay - but not worth the money. Anyway the staff were all polite and happy, it was the food that let everything down.

Good food, but feel what we get on the platter gets less and less after each visit at any of Egon restaurants in Norway. Prices seems to remain the same though... will visit again.

The concept is nice, it’s a beautiful restaurant, but no table service at all, whenever you need something you need to get up and go to the counter and wait if there’s people ordering as well, and you have to pay right away, the food it’s too expensive for the poor quality, and people eat in the dark, no lights whatsoever.And maybe you should start telling people that they have to order on the counter for them not to be waiting 20/30m for someone to come and take the order.Won’t be coming back

Great restaurant and ambiance, good food as well of course.Ordering is done at the bar, or through an app.

We were 10 guys and in the begining it was good mood, but when we ordered 3 ribs and we got it and tasted we were very disappointed. Meat was dry and you even cant feel the taste of the ribs... Probably its the worst ribs I ever had...Other guys ordered 6 steaks, but they wasnt good as it should be. But at least better than ribs...Last thing when all of us had a meal in front of us suddenly we noticed that one of us was left without his steak... Waiter forgot one the steaks, so he had to wait for 20/25min to get his meal. (he had to eat when all of us already was finished our meals...)

Good food, cosy place

Stuff is unprofessional. We made an order for ten people and they couldnt make it right. Because of that one of had to wait until others was eating not a pleasant experience. Mixed up an orders as well. Maybe because of that food didnt tasted good because of the mistakes they made. Spear ribs was dry and tasted like was out of date.

This hade an intresting dynamic, where each table hade its space and peace, even if in same stable. The food was good, but a bit dray salat. Wil chose this another time to.

A nice place with delicious food.

Nice burger. However if you order steak and ask for medium minus, youll get medium plus. If you order beef I recommend that you ask for as rare as legal in Norway, if you want medium.

Quite nice looking scenery, the staff is great Nd polite. However the food is quite expensive but it tastes well. Id recommend this place to group of friends eating together

Very good quality and taste of food to my wife and I.I have one comment though: Egons own opening line on every menu begins:"Being a guest at Egon should be an experience and a relaxation from everyday life."During these covid times and to reduce contact risk , I fully understand the need to implement a solution, using an App to order your food at the restaurant you are sitting, however your table advertising shows a QR code ,which you have to scan.. but, that takes you to the company that makes the app..not the ordering page. Then you are left trying to find a mobile solution,possibly another link..until time is enough.So you are left going up to the bar and ordering there.This needs sorting fast.I would have left comment on the tablets usually found at the exits but during these covid times, have been removed.A nice meal finally, during our fast stop in Haugesund.

Food wasnt bad, and prices seemed decent for the atmosphere. The one complaint I have is that they forgot to hold the bacon on the baked potato and so my friend had to eat around it.

Had a really nice steak there last night. Food was well presented and tasted very nice.Staff are friendly and attentive.They have a small area for kids to play and draw with some interactive screens with games.My only grudge if it can be called that would be that you have to prepay the food. So you order and pay for it at the same time. It kinda makes tipping hard as i dont bring cash and we didnt have dessert plus i didnt know how the service would be (although it was great)I would recommend this place for good food, good service, cosy and good for families.

Was there for lunch then dinner. For lunch the way I was greeted at the door, was excellent, the man at work seemed happy that he had guests. Later, I was met again in the door, she was polite, but lacked a smile. But the food was excellent, so if you want something quick and good, this is the place for you.Alittle to high volume on the music, but everything considered, it was brilliant

Worst burger Ive had in a very long time. Way overcooked, the bun is ten day stale dry and the condiments feature a sad slice of bacon and some soggy onion. Served with premade sweet chilli sauce. All for 250++ NOK. No. Thank. You.

Want value for money, then go for the pizza buffet. Many other dishes are pricey and dont offer large portions of food.

For this type of restaurant it is four stars. Its a order and pre-pay at the counter-place, and they leave it to customer to write in the total price before the pin code - meaning they want tips before service... this is wrong! Note also that it is not required or neccessary to tip in Norway.To the food, had a good quesadilla, but not spicy at all. The pizza buffet could be replenished more often (slices were getting rubbery). I think they do not use original recipies for drinks, but tasted good none the less.

This is a Norwegian chain of restaurants. We saw them all over the place in Bergen but did not get to try it until we reached Haugesund. The menu looks nice and the restaurant is very cosy and comfortable. Just as all other restaurants in Norway, this also is very expensive and not value for money.But I would not have given such an average review just for this reason, since this has to do with the country cost of living and not specifically of the restaurant.The lower rating is because of the quality of the food served. We ordered the salmon dish, a pizza and the cod fish. All three were below average in taste and creativity. Very blunt taste that I could have done better myself and I am a very average cook. I was quite disappointed actually, because when walking inside, the staff are friendly and with their attitude they set your expectations high but the kitchen does not deliver the quality you anticipate.

I like coming back here. I have always been impressed with the food, and recently I had the best chicken I probably have ever tasted. Chicken can easily be overcooked and soon get very dry. This chicken had juices dripping from it before I touched it.
