Very nice park, especially beautiful in fall. It can be busy on the weekends/holidays and be prepared to walk up the hill quite a bit. The parking is $2.5/hour bit it is worth it. Recommended for if youre looking for not too challenging hike in the city.

With a few days of summer left, its a good idea to visit Edwards Garden.Today was my first visit to Edwards and my intent was to simply de-stress and enjoy gorgeous scenery. Its beautiful here; the perfect getaway to relax and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life....I would spend the entire day here if I could.

I went there last week and the park is a hundred times better from March to July, its greener and the small stream was better as well. However, it still has many positive reasons to go any time of the year:- Dont have to pay admission (maybe just the parking)- It has countless varieties of flowers and trees. Its well maintained.- Its great for walking, taking some photos, hiking and riding bicycles.- People love to make events, such as weddings and graduation parties there because its really beautiful.

A great park to visit! The park has a great topography with quite a few elevation changes, nice meadows, plenty of shade and a small creek running through it. And of course it has beautiful flower beds and plant gardens! If one needs a refreshment while visiting, theres a café. At the time of the visit (late August of 22the café was open till 7 PM on the weekends and until 5 PM on the weekdays. But just to be sure, Id recommend to confirm that prior to the visit.

Weve visited Edwards Gardens many times over the years, but how beautiful it is never gets old! I personally love seeing the big willow trees on the property; somehow they seem to make things feel more calm and peaceful. The flowers planted throughout the gardens are obviously pretty too, and the lawns are nicely manicured all the time. Benches are dotted across the many paths and in different areas of the gardens, and there are plenty of spots to set up a picnic blanket. The trees and gazebos also allow for shade on hot, sunny days. I believe the garden cafe (open between spring and falloffers drinks, baked goods, and gifts, with outdoor seating in the courtyard. Washrooms are also available at the cafe. Parking is paid, but proceeds go towards maintaining the gardens.

I like Joe Pye and rudbeckia and Coneflowers as much as the next guy but I think there could be a bit more variety in the native perennial beds. Maybe some other species of liatris besides spicata for instance (apologies if there are some which I missed)

Edwards Garden is one of the 17 themed gardens in a 4 acre area that houses the TorontoBotanical Garden.Collectively, all the gardens make the botanical garden an extremely beautiful and must see tourist destination in Toronto. There are plenty of sitting arrangements all throughout the gardens and many winding, scenic trails to have a walk in the prepossessing natural place. The enormous parking areas has enough spots to park the visitors vehicles at a very reasonable charge which is nothing compared to what the gardens have to offer.

This is a beautiful place that doent cost much even though it is surrounded by some of the most pricey realestate in Canada. Kids will love it. It was a beautiful day and we spent only an hour, but we would have liked to explore much more. The collection of plants is quite surprising; we even found bananas, papayas, and frangipani. I highly recommend this event.

Beautiful garden (I believe the program building is called Toronto Botanical Gardens). It is a short walk/hike in the middle of the city. They take good care of their grounds. You can bring your own food and have a picnic here too because the grounds are not limited to the garden area. There are public bathrooms available, as well as a cafeteria area. Easily accessible by transit (Lawrence/Leslieand there is reasonable parking.

Lovely and genteel. Parks services does a lovely job of maintaining the grounds. But absolutely swarming with people. We went on a sunny, warm spring Sunday in spring. Had to park 4 blocks away. Your mileage may vary. Also, the signage about park restrictions sets a mildly uninviting tone (see pic of all the things you CANT do), but frankly I didnt see any enforcement of the restrictions. And in the end, Id say that most if not all visitors enjoyed themselves. We certainly did, despite the crowds and apparent restrictions.

What a little gem! I love how pretty much every city in the province has beautiful parks that are emaculately maintained. This garden has a waterfall that we unfortunately could not see due to being under maintenance but even then its a beautiful site. Incredibly relaxing to wander through the garden and you can veer off into the adjacent parks for a longer visit. The parking is 2.50 per hour, which is very reasonable. Recommend downloading the app (the signs are posted by the parking meters). Because its such a scenic and peaceful spot, you are unlikely to leave in under an hour so highly recommend getting 2+ hours worth of time.I will be visiting as soon as the colours change to see it in fall!

Its a nice relaxing green space in the Toronto/Northyork area. It has some food options like the Garden Cafe. There are benches and areas to hang out all over the garden are, and there are an abundance of paths and trails to walk on. To park there is only $2.50 per hour. They have many different types of plants and even offer brief descriptions for some of them. Its a really pretty place and great for a date or to relax for a few hours. Lots of butterflies and pleasant smells!
