Edifício Transparente in Leça da Palmeira

The building is not good lol, its like a vacant old office block that shut down and businesses and stores decided to move in instead.There are no clues to find the toilet one arrow at the bottom but there are many floors since then with multiple left and rights to choose from on each with no further signage?.Having said that the stores themselves that are inside the transparent building are a different Story they are beautifully kept and easy to know what it is and full of smiley happy faces.I am also slightly bias , no I never am :but I love that there is a NIU Store as its 20 mins from my house 🏠, & Ive been saving for a NIU KQi3 MAX for ages.I should mention the car park is very dangerous for 2 reasons.1. 3 cars broken into while parked glass smashed everywhere.2. You have to be careful not to be distracted whilst parking and hit something as there are many 25-30 year old male surfers getting changed out of their Wetsuits lol, and for me at least that is a massive distraction, ( a fantastic distraction, Im not moaning at all 😆).

A useless building ruining the overall aesthetics of the surroundings. Should’ve been demolished a long time ago. The only positive aspects are… well none!?

No vegan options. They charged us €10 for fries and lettuce, tomatoes, corn carrots and cheese between a bun. I don’t speak the language so when I asked the manager about a vegan burger, he didn’t say “Nao”, he began giving instructions to the waiter, so I figured they must have the option. I paid €21 total for that. My son was hungry, we had been out all day. So we wanted more than just fries and didn’t want to wait until we got home which was an hour walk away. There are no vegan restaurants on this side of Rua de Brasil, or in this plaza😔

Lots of shops/business are closed / under renovation (July 2020).

Cool place because of location. However, it should be rebuilded. But view it is amazing. Many bars.

Very close to the beach. You can sit here, have a snack and some drinks still enjoying the sea view. Lots of bars offer you diffeen types of food.

Misplaced, not taken care of

Surf lessons and great places to seat, have a snack and enjoy the view! Better on spring/summer. I suggest a walk by the sea or 《parque da cidade》/ rent a bike /surf or just relax in the area

When we talk about localization, Edifício Transparente is really well located right next to the beach. But in terms of architecture this buildings design and structure is too bad. In fact ETs structure and "the lack of maintenance" is dangerous according to specialists. So its not just my opinion.However there are some good restaurants and bars where you can spend a couple hours in front of the beach.

Nice selection of bars and restaurants in this see-through building. Occasionally hosts a market at weekends also, and great for people watching....

Wonderful location, but poor maintenance and definitely bad restrooms

On sunny days it is a good place to visit and enjoy a nice beer by the bars that are in front of the sea.

Lovely place with many restaurants and esplanades. This time we visited the Picaba Natural Café and tasted the natural fruit juices and wrapped salmon. Is a pleasant small café witha nice esplanade and very friendly service. That was a refreshing and relaxing experince by the seaside, with the International port for cruses, lovely building and the Forte de São Francisco Xavier as scenary. Then we went for a walk on the path underneath the gardens of the Montevideu Avenue, coming back through the gardens.

Amazing views for the seafront and very nice little restaurants, perfect for a beach lunch.

It is quite near to the ocean and the food is okay. I dont understand why cant they clean all the windows facing to the beach its kinda ruins to whole experience.

Amazing restaurant to experience and Have a taste of a traditional Oporto sandwish...Try one of many "Francesinha" and a Nice draft beer and you wont regret...At Cufra Grill

Surf rent was good

A terrible eyesore. Ugly, dirty and something that I think everyone hopes will someday disappear.

Mall with small cafe and restaurants. The place is busy when there is a surf competition. Would not recommend for shopping.

Great location and great places to have lunch, a snack or a cocktail. Mainly a summer location.
