Buzzing American eatery with a big bar scene in a former 1920s firehouse with a romantic patio.
Just stopped by for drinks, casual nice atmosphere. Not much of a beer selection on tap. But overall recommend this place.
Its fine. The burger was ok. The bun was totally burned but the fish n chips were pretty good. The atmosphere is the best part of going to Edendale. Most of the bartenders are good.
Id leave a review but I never even got to taste the food. One Bartender attempted to help but lead was busy telling him to make sure to fill other orders. Its all good. Maybe one day. Had heard it was ok food and drinks.
Not sure what I liked the most, the brunch, the staff, or the chill vibe of the other patrons.
We had a great time - over five hours for a very special birthday party. Happy hour all night btw and I recommend the cauliflower if you want the best cauliflower youve ever tasted!
Amazing old Hollywood feel! Went for breakfast and had the best Monte Cristo & steak n eggs!
A chill vibe with good food and drink options. Great place to have a gathering with groups of friends.
Solid brunch options including fried chicken sliders (two per order). It was good but not mind-blowing. But good. Their biscuits looked good as well. Outside patio is a good option on a nice cool day or night.
great space indoor and outdoor. Try the mushroom toast if you’re there for brunch
Amazing cocktails.. especially when Sean is making em ✨ the short rib is incredible… great indoor vibes, plus their outdoor patios are way dreamy day or night.
What a great outdoor patio! Loved the vegan options on the menu, and next time, I’ll definitely have to check out that cocktail list.
Loved this restaurant. Loved the food ,ambience and decor. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.
Good food. Chill atmosphere. Okay cocktails.
Hidden gem. Fantastic menu, bar and food. This place has a vibe for every mood. If you want outdoor, the front and back patios are quaint and instagramable, the bar is posh and vintage with lots of natural light and comfy seating.
Love the drinks and staff! Photo Booth pics are a must.
Excellent spot for some food and drinks! Great happy hour and menu, try the chips ;)
They make good drinks!!!! Nice place for a birthday or date. Plenty of atmosphere
This place has a superb collection of beers, and spirits only outclassed by the building itself. If you dont visit you will regret it
Had dinner with friends. The food was good and the drinks were tasty. Dessert was delicious. The person serving us was attentive, but not intrusive.
Nice place for a drink but pretty average to eat. All our meat portions were burned and unseasoned.
It was my first time. The food was really good we had breakfast. I had the biscuit with egg and bacon🤤 with strawberries jam. We sat outside the weather was perfect. The waiter was great he kept making sure that we were fine.
At first it looks like this adorable little boutique restaurant, among quite a few in this area, then you step inside & its ginormous. The whole place surprises you with how grand everything seems to be in a simple, warm & inviting way. The food is impeccable with service to match. My only disappointment was not finding my favourite treat (Creme Bruleon their desert menu. Still a 5 star experience for me!!!
After looking for parking for 20min we waited for 1.5hrs for our food. Waitress came by only a few times. The pork chop and steak was over cooked and my sausage campanelle was bland. The sauce was just grease. A few of our party was served their dinner and the rest came out about 10min later. I would not recommend this restaurant when there are so many other good places in the vicinity.
Overall very good indeed.Unique resturant with a node to old Hollywood and silverlake bungalow style architecture. Lovely hosts, fast service, good food at a resaniable price. Will be back for sure.
I usually make it out to wine country for a day during my frequent trips to SF. Unfortunately, there was no time for wine country during my last trip to SF, but happy hour at Edendale Restaurant and Bar proved to be just as fun.Its a gorgeous lounge (I wish my living room looked like thisfull of wineries offering tastings of their wines. Genius concept.
I love this spot. Lots of space. The bartenders are nice, attentive and fast. Great selection of liqour. And the fries... some of the best in LA... simple yet perfect.
i’m giving 10 stars to the general manager, Christine (sp?)! she’s a delight! after having a bad experience with our original server, she took over and turned our whole experience there around and had the best time!thank you so much, Christine! you rock!
Amazing food and drinks in an incredibly beautiful old fire station. Outdoor patio was nearly magical at night! Parmesan tater tots, Sausage Campanelle pasta, steak fries(WOW!!and chocolate pot dessert all stole the show. Every course was impressive and delicious!!
This place was delicious i had the chilaquiles which were delicious and the hibiscus margarita it was honestly one of the best margaritas Ive ever had. The restaurant/bar decor is beautiful, so much space. I definitely will be back to enjoy a drink at the bar and the scene.
Edendale is one of the most compelling bar experiences in the Silverlake area. They have a genuine historic feel with some amazing green chile stew if you get it at the right time of year.If you want to go back in time and get a feel for old Hollywood hobnobbery I recommend checking this place out.
Food was good but certain things lacked like the fish and chips. The fries were good but the fish was meh. Vegan cheesecake was surprisingly delicious! Drinks were strong but delicious as well and service was great.
Romantic bar/restaurant with outdoor dining patio. Indoor dining is also available. Came here for a friend’s surprise engagement get-together around 8:30pm on a Friday evening and we had a group of around 20 spread across the small tables alongside the wall in the outdoor patio area. Parking was difficult - street parking may be available on the road or you’ll have to search in the neighborhoods. Credit cards are accepted. You order food/drinks at the bar and you’ll receive a number to place at your table. The fries were crispy and a good size for 3-4 people to split. The mac and cheese’s sauce was a bit thin but I liked the baked bread crumbs on top. The calamari was the best thing we ordered and had a mild kick. The fried chicken sliders came in two and were okay. The drinks were more of the main draw, and they do have bottles of champagne available for purchase in case you’re trying to celebrate a special event. Overall, it’s a cute spot to have a date night or go with a big group.
Nice neighborhood place! Great food, patio or indoor seating. The bar is awesome!
One of the true gems of the Los Feliz area. The atmosphere, service and location and top notch. Certainly a place to happily experience and nice evening at. Oh and check out the photo-booth - extra bonus.
Used to be a firehouse so its a great space; indoors and out. Cant go wrong with bottomless mimosa brunch. And the brulee french toast is *chefs kiss*
Good atmosphere here but service is slow and the menu has taken a hit in the last 2 years. Ive been coming here for ~4 years and recently youll notice the menu is a lot smaller.Recently had the two egg breakfast with salad, bacon and whole wheat toast. Meal didnt taste like a chef had anything to do with it - no finesse or quality, I probably could have cooked it better at home. They also dont have a real coffee machine, so forget ordering that here. Recommend avoiding and trying some of the other solid local spots.
Good food, good service, good location, good people. A converted firehouse with indoor/outdoor seating, bar and event space. Very welcoming. Ive eaten here several times and the food is very good and desserts are worth the calories and big enough to share.
Nice and cozy, good food and beers at affordable prices. The service was very courteous.
Back in its "hey day" before the Writers Strike, at The Edendale Grill was the bomb place for dinner & drinks. All the locals and surrounding areas would go there. Does anyone remember the scallops in a shredded potato nest? The place itself rocks. All the history of it being a firehouse gives it a certain charm. Dining in or out on the front or back terrace is nice. Now, back to the food. . . Its a great place for brunch/lunch. The bar rocks. You drink it - theyll make it. Great service. The menu it not boring, offering vegetarian dishes too. Oh, the house banana bread is SO good with Lamill coffee. Parking on Rowena can be a bear, but on Sundays, you dont have to feed the meter. Its so nice to see that theyve hung in there and made it work.
Unique and charming place with several different spaces with different atmospheres including an open-air patio in the front and a covered patio in the back. Love the bar and enjoy the menu. Bar prices seem a bit high but again its a really cool place. Parking in the neighborhood is a hassle so leave yourself some time for that. I do believe during busy hours they have a valet service available.
I dont give 5 stars, but this place came close. The reason why I liked it so much is that it is a great place for everyone. For the CEO, C-level people, it has high-end dishes. For mid-managers, it had your $20 dishes and for entry level people, it had your basic dishes. Drinks were reasonable, but you probably wont have more than two, i.e. not a place youd go to just drink. It is a fun, quality place with great service.

Great food and great atmosphere. Nice place to hang with friends or have a romantic date.
When I visited Edendale I only viewed the bar, but from what I saw it is a lovely place. The beer is excellent and I cant speak highly enough about the food. My friend and I split the grilled cheese and a serving of their fried green tomatoes and honestly I cannot wait to go back. I am so glad I was introduced to this restaurant, it is a hidden gem!
A bar/restaurant in a converted firehouse. The food is quite nice, while the liquor selection is quite good. If its not on the cocktail menu, be prepared to call your drink.Dont forget that theres an outdoor area in the back as well. Sometimes people crowd the front of the bar and patio but leave the back of the establishment alone do there may be a good amount of room back there.
Rang in my 21st birthday here! This was a really cool club. I liked that it was right on Union Square and it had a great DJ. The place is extremely crowded, and has a $20 cover (but I hear thats normal). The inside has cool colors, lights, and fog machines. The drinks are rather strong! So that is always a good thing.
One of the best bars in LA. Great backyard, awesome for chatting as actually enjoying your company. Drinks were solid and the ability to drink outside and then move indoors makes you feel like youve switched bars. Big space, great crowd, perfect for friends.
This place is cool. Its not as hipster as you would think and thats a relief. Nice, well light front porch, tables inside, a giant bar and then a cozy but still dope patio out back. You order food from the bar which makes this GREAT for groups. The food is great, the beer selection is great...LETS BRUNCH!
Gorgeous restaurant! Wonderful food and ambience. Amazing bar. There is a lovely outdoor patio in front, a cool bar on the side, and several dining rooms. I believe this place is a converted old firehouse.Nice drinks and fresh and flavorful food.
My husband surprised me with reservations here. I loved it!. If you love good American food this is the spot. Classy and a 1920s feel to it. Service was great. I had the steak and mashed potatoes very scrumptious. Valet gentlemen are very respectful and of great service. Thumbs up! Pretty busy place so make sure reservations are made before you come.
