Eden Gardens Wellness Resort & Spa in New Kingston

This is one of my favorite places to stay when I visit Jamaica. The chef and food are incredible! The rooms are also comfortable. It is an older resort, but a good value for the money.

My company treated us to a spa day for employees week and we had the option of choosing one spa service.I found it hard to choose between a massage and a pedicure but I finally decided on the pedi.The service was excellent !! I am very specific how I want my toes done and I got one FULL hour of being pampered.You hardly find people who take pride in what they do anymore and for this I want to say a big thank you to Adam & EVE spa and a bigger thank you to Trevor,the young man who provided me with such excellent service.He was very detailed .....Absolutely no complaints

We enjoyed our 2 weeks stay all staffs were great and very professional, the smoothies delicious miss you guys will visit again. 😊 Jamaica 🇯🇲 😍 👌🏾 😎

I’ve visited this resort twice and each time was truly remarkable. They have a beautiful well kept resort with some wonderful & super friendly staff, not to mention the food. I would recommend anyone here. 😊

Stayed here for four nights with my husband. We found it to be a delightful little spot centrally located where you can unwind a bit. We were disappointed that we werent always able to use the sauna as it didnt work. The fruits for breakfast was tasteless and once even seemed old. Workers were sometimes shouting on the corridors, this was definitely not good. Too many mosquitoes around the pool sitting area. However the staff were friendly and helpful. We might go back because it also seemed very clean, liked the ambience and I enjoyed seeing the plants.

Booked an appointment and left disappointed. Book an appointment for 11am. Received a call from Eden at 9 am confirming my appointment. Only reach there no one to assist me. Waited for 5mins then some came out said the receptionist is coming. Waited another 15 mins and someone else came said there is no masseuse there to attend to me and they werent able to tell me how soon. I ended up leaving, no called to reschedule or even apologize. I have been to Totally Male Spa and another spa each time great service, appointment on time. There is a great saying. You should stick evil you know.

My sister and I visited the spa and we had the best experience. The masseuses, Arlene and Monique, did a fantastic job. The entire experience was calming. We were celebrating our birthdays and they really made us feel as such. They also served us complimentary champagne as we were getting a pedi. Amazing customer service, ambiance and the cost is very reasonable.

Went here with my sister to see the Chiropractor, hes an older fellow and well experienced. I would recommend. The cost isnt that bad either, was $6000 for the first visit.

A very quiet and tranquil place. Great for travel on a budget. But poor WIFI signal in the room and very meager included breakfast took away one star from my recommendation. The traditional ache and saltfish with fried bammy was very good, but cost extra.

Went there for a quick get away on valentines day.From check out to check out was great.Customer service on point.It was clean and quiet and just gave you a relaxing vybe. The breakfast in the morning was really good whether you choose to have the complementary breakfast or pay for the jamaicanbreakfast. I would most definetly stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay here. The only drawback was the service. The front desk gave me my worse check in experience ever. The room we stayed in was very nice (Eden luxury suite). Nice spacious bathroom, separate living area, nice size bedroom. The grounds are very nice also.

I love Eden Gardens!!!! Their staff are professionals, very accommodating, security is on point however the breakfast & meals are pricey in USD. The facilities & rooms are clean. Shout out to their housekeeping staff who do a wonderful job daily. Ive stayed here twice already. Ive have and will continue to recommend to my family, friends and co-workers. My husband & I will be back 💕

I didnt like the fact that when you arrive in your room that was assigned to you, the room feels like an baking oven. Why cant they have the room already cooled down for you? And every room was like this.The room they gave to my grandmother had an air conditioner that didnt work. They need to take the time out to service each air conditioner to make sure it blows cool. Then the complimentary food was just horrible and the food that you can buy wasnt any better.Some changes need to be made because its a nice looking resort but looks can be deceiving and in this case I was deceived.

I went to the Tulips restaurant. The food was good but the issue I had was paying them. The machine was down so they couldnt use a card and I had to ask my taxi driver to borrow his money until we got to an ATM to pay him back. If theres an issue with your machines please have it announced on arrival.

Very nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal at the different restaurants there. The rooms are great. Be prepared to spend a bit though. Especially if you bring your side gyal, cause she ago bring har belly and her two long hand.

I had a great time, the hotel is clean, rooms are very spacious. The staff is friendly but not overbearing, infact they were quite professional.I had breakfast and it was tasty! I will definitely be back

The resort is in the New Kingston area so very central. The rooms are very spacious and modern. I really love how many trees are on property it gives the place a hidden feel. ( I guess why they call it EdenI also got a massage at the spa, I cannot remember my masseuse’s name but he did an amazing job.Only issue I had was the parking lot which was a bit smaller than I think it should be for a place this size.

The spa was to die for. Excellent customer service, excellent setting, excellent massage, excellent facial, excellent mani/pedi. First introduced to them for a birthday package and have been going back ever since.The restaurant Black Orchid is also great. You will not regret the food at all. Top class customer servive.

If youre unfamiliar with the stretch of road its on, youll miss it. Even with GPS you have to drive slowly within the vicinity to find its gate because there isnt a sign displayed or one thats visible. Outside of this signage issue, customer service is good and the ambiance is serene.

Eden Garden is know for its professional services, especially the spa. The environment has several facilities that can satisfy a need, not all of course. I had a good experience. However, an experience starts from the security guard and front desk. It felt like I was a bother coming in. Other than that, he spa experience was good though.

On entering you are greeted with a pleasant receptionist and calming fragrance. I had a swedish massage done. The experience was nothing to write home about. When the masseuse was through she just left the room. I guess i was supposed to fall asleep or as she put it rest for some time after the massage but the room I was in had an annoying air conditioning unit that kept flapping and making all kinds of strange sounds. For the entire session it competed with the soothing background music. After laying in the room for about 20 mins post massage, not sure if there was anything else left to be done I got dressed and left. The receptionist who greeted me on arrival apparently went on a break or her shift ended. However, I passed her replacement and said good evening to all persons in the lobby. No questions were asked if my service was complete or if there was anything else I required. I never saw back the masseuse. The session felt like it ended prematurely. I left the place feeling incomplete. They had a spectacular opening but no spectacular close.

This place is not as advertised. The images are misleading because they do not accurately reflect the true condition of the location. Although staff is magnificent, even they cannot make up for managements absolute failure to maintain the quality of the property. We had to check out and stay in another hotel. Truly disappointed.

My husband and I stayed here 5.6.19-5.12.19. We had a blast! The resort is elegant, intimate, and exotic. The service was great! Claudia served us breakfast and lunch most days and Christine was our housekeeper. They both were very nice. Honestly, they felt like family. They were down to earth and very kind. Everyone had manners! Roger was our taxi driver. He works with Chris. He drove us to Ocho Rios to Cool Blue Hole, which is way more beautiful and fun than Dunn’s River. Not to mention cheaper! We walked to the grocery store, went out Friday night at the Marketplace spot, visited sovereign mall, and the Bob Marley museum. Overall, we loved Kingston, and the resort. It looks more luxurious than any other hotel we saw from Kingston to Ocho Rios. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know!

Very nice ambiance, scenes are breath taking and it has a laid back environment. It is also a great spaces to host events (a bit on the mid-high end range). The customer service could be improved.

Got to there about 3:30 and the room wasnt ready. I received a complementary drink and a 15% discount on all food and drinks throughout the stay. I got the room at 4:50pm however it was not as described or as shown in the pictures and there was only 6 items in the mini bar 2 of which was water. I called reception,told them that I didnt get the correct room and asked if there is a room with a Jacuzzi in the hotel and was advised that there isnt aroom with a Jacuzzi and that they would call back but never did. I asked to speak with the manager and they said that the manager already left and will be back the next day at 9 Am. I took a shower and then there was no water in the bathrroom for about 45 minutes so I had to call reception again. I tried to place a room service order and was told that there was a charge for the delivery. When I went to have breakfast which was supposed to be complementarity the menu was very limited. They even provide you with a better menu however you have to pay for that one. When I checked with the front desk at 9:20am the manager hadnt arrived. the receptionist proceed to offer to switch me to a room with a Jacuzzi saying that one just wasnt available the day before. I was very frustrated and tired of the service by that point. I asked for a refund and was told that they can only change the room because u booked through Expedia. I contacted Expedia and spoke to Michael who allowed me to vent and assisted me with getting the refund.

While the physical layout doesnt flow that well, it is actually a good place to dine, convene meetings and enjoy the amenities in a healthy environment. The staff are pleasant and service comes with a smile. Need to visit the Juice Bar ... the offerings are exceptional.Nice, quaint little place.

The complex is all encompassing, in that the shops cater to your every desire. On this occasion I was on site for a nice afternoon lunch. I ordered a chicken sandwich and freshly made soup. The atmosphere is very conducive to productivity on the job or deep relaxation, it is your choice.

If you are looking for clean rooms, beautifully kept grounds and polite, dedicated staff, this is the place for you. Our 7 nights stay was incredible. Every worker, regardless of their position, was well trained. Excellent vacation spot. THANKS STAFF. Job well done

My workplace staff party was held there on the lawns abs it was nice and cozy. The reason came down and within a few minutes they could find an indoor room for us to have the rest of the party. The environment was clean and very beautiful. They had plants and ponds which add a nice nature feeling to the place.

This place is beautiful. The landscape, everything. It feels a little like paradise and can be a great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. Treat yourself here to a spa day. Better yet, take the spouse and have a grand time ;).I have one suggestion to management. Since the rooms arent numbered and the rooms are located in a more haphazard fashion, you can create a map to make it easier on the guests to find where theyre going. When the sun a pelt I do not wish to be walking around like a madman to find where Im supposed to go. Furthermore, when information is asked of the staff, they have no idea where there particular room is located. Perhaps more staff training is needed as well?

The grounds are well kept and the decor is beautiful from the sculptures to the coy fish pool. The customer service is top notch and employees are well informed. The shops are interesting in there own ways. This is one experience of comfort worth having and its tucked away nicely in Kingston.

I wouldnt recommend staying at this hotel if there is a wedding. The grounds are already pretty small already as it is. Now imagine being a paying guest and unable to use the pool as the weddings cocktail hour is of course pool side, or trying to get to your room but as you step off of the elevator you walk right into the reception and as you continue walking to your room the bride and groom are looking up from their table at you like youre crazy for walking through their reception , or having the music blasting from the reception past 10 p.m. so that you cant get to sleep for that early flight you have to get up for, or feeling like theres no where in the hotel that you can go other than to lock yourself in your room. I think this is poor management on the hotels part. If theres a planned event, given the tight space, the least that could have been done is to give guests some kind of warning and appropriate accommodation. I am giving one star because Ive never had an experience like this before at a hotel. Ive never felt as if Im an intruder rather than a paying guest. The front desk, restaurant, and bar staff were very pleasant, and the grounds are fairly well-kept, but all of that was overshadowed by managements complete disregard for the comfort and wellness of their guests.

Despite the spa being fully booked due to the December festive season, I experienced a great service. The staff were professional and friendly. Im happy that I enjoyed a super mani with gel nails, pedi and Swedish massage with Sherece (apologies if spelt incorrectly). Thank you also to the receptionist in the spa who was exemplary. She provided cake and sorrel and even offered a cyber massage whilst I wait. I would have stayed for drinks at the outdoor bar but unfortunately no bar staff were available.

A very relaxing and calming place. Breakfast is included and was great also there are some local pastries to try. The spa is amazing and you should really try the neck and back mesage. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with the necessities. Staff was very polite and helpful.

I quite like the ambiance here but the complex needs more space to allow the defined areas to be more spread out... It felt like a bit claustrophobic initially before your eyes adjusted to the space. The juice bar at pool side was a nice touch as well as the quaint pool itself... The front facade with its fabulous water feature gave the entrance a more grand appeal. The garden just off the entry is quite nice as well and is a popular spot for wedding receptions.

Worst hotel experience, I have ever had. I arrived at 8:30 pm on a Wednesday. Walk to reception desk dark. Young lady checked me in and pointed to where room was located. I instead she show me to room since it was dark. We eventually found a young man to help with luggage. Entrance to room was located outside. Walk was was dark, bulbs blown and not replace. I should have know it was bad when I was told they do not have shower caps. Room was spacious; however very clear that rooms need immediate renovations.Day two, I returned to room, used towels were removed, however not replaced. I went to front desk to request towel and was told towels were NOT available until the next day at 6:30 am. I thought person was joking. He was not.Day three, I stopped by front desk to request soap and to inform them about the events that transpired prior. I was given a form to fill out and return. Was told manager would contact me. Manage, Lawrence did come to room and listen to concerns. He brought housekeeping supervisor with him. Surely things would be better.. Lawrence stated he would take care of food for me. Later, I arrived at restaurant after ordering soup( it was good my the way). However was told there was no bread available! Soup no bread, potato pudding cold on one side hot on other. Lawrence of course was no where to be found, however was spotted seated at bar with companion. After about an hour there was a knock on door with soup and bread...This place needs immediate training on customer service and renovations.

Good hotel, lots of amenities. At first I thought that the portion for breakfast wasnt enough. It was enough, the fruit and porridge were brought out first then the main breakfast meal, and it was fullfilling. The room was spacious with the exception of the budget room we got on the last day. It seemed as if the pool and the sex shop was not utilized. There was also a restaurant, gym, bar and we received complementary drinks the first night.

Had the best "hot stone" message ever and over the past 2 years I have had at least 30 or more. My therapist Yvonne was absolutely amazing. I got hot stones message to my abdomen and between fingers and toes also my face. Its was spectacular and I even got at least 15 min or more to relax there and absorb it all in afterwards, which I have only seen at this spa. If you like a great hot stone message ask for Yvonne you will be thoroughly amazed.

Stayed at Eden Gardens June 20-27, 2018. I loved the at home, relaxed feeling.The gardens are beautiful, but could be better maintained. The Mahogany room was the best,lots of windows,large spacious and the cleaning ladies(housekeepingwere pleasant and did a great job. Claudia and Veronica, 2 jewels at Eden gardens, were pleasant and gave great customers service during our breakfast. The hotel is nice,but a bit dated. I think the grounds should be better kept. Most of the staff were happily doing their jobs except some of the ground maintenance staff. One gentleman seem to be doing nothing all day,everyday I was there. Maybe he would clear some leaves off the steps lazily.Over all I enjoyed my stay, but recommend the the grounds staff take their jobs more seriously. Ground supervisor needs to ensure weeds are pulled. I will stay at Eden Gardens again.

The area is a quite and peaceful place in general.I would not recommend having a large event there on a Saturday as it tends to be chaotic when many events are scheduled.Directions to the various locations are lacking, someone can easily be lost traveling across buildings.Understaffed, especially when they are fully booked, attended a wedding there and ended up helping with the servings.Food was good though and the staff are easy to work with.

Booked for the honeymoon suite on arrival it was unavailable . I was offered an alternative room however there was no considetation for the price difference. Did not get the experience I was hoping for. Not sure if I would consider here for my honeymoon based on this experience. I was advised at the checked in a discussion would be had with the supervisor however when I check with reception in the morning it did not appeared the discussion had taken place. Again I was promised the manager would be contacted and would have gotten a feedback.

Food is good. Lovely place, great artwork very unique and interesting pieces and gives a really naturalistic feeling in the city. Customer service is great too. Had some issues with my meal and they handled it promptly and professionally. Definitely worth visiting.

Definitely has the potential to be a great place but its all in the finishing for me. Thats what let them down.Really nice accommodation there but couldnt get TV remote to work. Loved the various businesses on premises like the juice bar, vegetarian restaurant, spa, gym. But gym is a bit messy and treadmills dont work. No gym attendant present either.Breakfast is the same every day if youre staying there. That cant cut it. The Wild Orchid chef can cook well but there was one man as the host and manager for downstairs so we waited 5 minutes and had to go call him before we got seated.Things like that. Having a welcome packet would have been nice. Even if it were two pages. The finishing touches made it 3 star

The front desk staff wasnt "resort" friendly. They didnt exude much enthusiasm. Had key issues and they seemed reluctant to find someone to let me back in my room as their system was down. Rooms where ok enough. Breakfast menu is quite limited.

Staff is always courteous and make you feel like a home a way from home. Restaurant and bar love the atmosphere. Coconut salmon is off the chain! Thats a must try! The moment you enter the Spa you are immediately a resident of Utopia! Its a peaceful oasis in the bustle of New Kingston.

Just stayed this week. The hotel is old. I did not expect wooden shutter for windows. The hotel had construction in the back of the hotel which was extremely noisy & completely inconsiderate for their customers who spend no less than 200 USD a night. I asked to switch rooms my second day due to going to sleep &waking up to loud bangs, drill and saws. The construction looks like it will not be finished anytime soon. After being switched to a room on the lower level I hoped that would solve my problem, as the receptionist said “you won’t here anything” I t was near the pool & the bar so you can imagine the noise I started to hear. Did not spend anymore money than I had to. I was anxious to leave, wishing I could get my money back & go. I will not return there nor recommend this place to anyone. Very miserable stay. I wish I would have taken pictures.

Very fine experience. Went there for dinner. The food was delicious and rich with tase. The staff was welcoming and added value to the experience. The ambiance is four stars and the wine selection is great. I would definitely recommend.

Be very careful!! A room was booked and paid for, yet when one arrived at the hotel it wasnt what was advertised. Similarly, one was charged twice for the room although the payment was done before one arrived. To make matters worse underwear and another article of clothing was found under the bed as one checked in. To top it all off a waitress tried to swindle or was unaware of how to do basic mathematics in calculating tips. It is not an all inclusive and you will pay for everything in the mini-bar and in the room that you can eat or drink. Nonetheless it is a nice place to see individuals being tied in holy matrimony.

Excellent gardens, relaxing atmosphere with flowing water in the background. Suites are very spacious, decorated with vivid colours and lovely comfy bed. Breakfast was complementary, nothing particularly exciting but filling and tasty.
