Eden Burger in Upper Arlington

This is the one of the famous 100% vegan burger shop. All the burgers here are vegetarian. One of my friend suggested this one and I tried the pickup as they don’t have inside seating. They do have outside patio to sit but it depends on the weather. It’s the small shop on N High street. I tried the Hawain burger and Eden burger both were great. Staff are friendly and if you like burger you should try.#eatateden

Eden Burger is a small outlet that can easily be overlooked. The location itself is quite small, and can maybe fit 8 people dining in (Covid update: no dining inand is well decorated.Paid parking is available on the street right outside the store and also in the alley behind.They do sell artwork in the store.The staff is super friendly and the service is quick. They do a steady stream of business and still keep up.Eden is vegetarian, so dont be fooled by chicken and bacon on the menu. Its replacement meat.Highly recommend their fries, Eden burger and Southwest burger.Id go so far as to say that you cant make a wrong choice, so go wild.Prices are more on the boutique side as compared to fast food. But its about worth it.

Im not a vegan so I cant compare the burgers too much to other vegan places. But the Eden burger was very good. The 5 stars are mostly for the onion rings...I honestly can say Ive never had better ones in my life...and those lve had a lot to compare to. Time to explore their menu more. 5 stars also because everyone there has always been super friendly.

Great selection of the vegan options. The loaded fries are a must try! I was quite happy with the Eden Burger with house made patties that are soy free.

This is my favorite guilty pleasure! Everything here is delicious and there is something for everyone. Their fries have a special seasoning that takes them to the next level. I havent tried the shakes yet but theyre on my list as soon as summer comes.

Not many vegan/vegetarian places in the area but Eden Burger exceeded my expectations by far. Absolutely loved the California burger and it made me feel like I was eating the good vegan food in LA. 10/10 will be coming here again and would recommend to anyone!, even people who are not vegan its delicious and a great way to start! Cute small business feel with personal service but theres not much else too it other than where to go if you crave a juicy burger or chicky and want a vegan substitute. Could use some small seating areas or some sort of glow up for their fries. The shake machine was broken so maybe thats the missing piece I will try next time.

Great food, not just for vegans. Any time I get a desire for a chicken sandwich Im coming here because their vegan substitutes are perfect, I dont think I would have known it wasnt chicken if I wasnt told. The burgers are clearly not beefs, a bit sticky, but still great. Fries are cooked great, the portions are more for 2 people than just 1 though. Brownies are great if you like them more cake-like.

Amazing service, good fries. Chicken sandwich wasn’t as flavorful as I’d hoped it be and the vanilla milkshake was not good at all. Good portions though and nice atmosphere. Great vegan alternatives but not worth a revisit in my opinion!

Great place to eat on the patio and enjoy good vegan food. The staff are helpful and serve well. The option are just right. The shakes were tasty and I would have been happy with a shake and fries. The burger was so full of flavor I am glad that I had all the food and wish I lived closer.

Very unpleasant experience.Absolutely nowhere to sit in the store, chairs are stacked on the tables, and we were asked “for here or to go?”The patty itself tastes like you’re eating straight beans, Burger King makes a better impossible burger.The cashier seemed to be on his own wavelength, we repeated at least 5 times that we needed 2 burgers and 2 sides, and he started pitching us different combo meals and in the end, didn’t even enter the second burger into the order, but got 2 sides down.The “loaded fries” are a big heap of onions and tomatoes with diced up bean patties, and are doused in salad dressing making them more messy then the salad dressing doused burger we were served.The cashier asked for my name and then disregarded what I said and wrote “Alex”The best thing there were the onion rings, which cost almost as much as the burger but overall, experience was extremely unpleasant.

First time trying the burger here. I had previously tried their tempeh nuggets and was not a fan. Now that theyve switched over to gardein products for some of the chicken I decided to give it another go. Absolutely fantastic.I tried the chicken sandwich and a burger. Was really impressed with both. The texture and flavors were on point. They also have some of the best fries in the city. I will definitely be back.

We loved this place! What a wide selection of amazing vegan food!! We got a limited time Garlic Parm Chickin Sammich (with Gardein!and a California Burger! Both were awesome! The onion rings as a side were clutch. The buckeye milkshake was not a favorite of ours. We loved eating on the patio and they brought the food out to us! I wish I had also tried one of their own chickin patties... next time! Great vegan option for Columbus!!! Cant wait to go back!

Ive never eaten here before. Ill be honest I didnt even pay enough attention to realize it was vegetarian/vegan...it took me a while after eating it to realize! Absolutely amazing food! And the fries are perfect!My sister in law got it for me after I told her where Id like to eat. Im currently a cancer patient at the James cancer center.The crew of Eden burger was short staffed and busy... despite this they went out of their way to make sure everything was sanitized before making my food!!!I cant explain how much that means to me! Thank you so much for being amazing and making sure the food was delicious and the area sanitized so I dont get sick with my poor immune system. You went above and beyond!

Super friendly and helpful staff! Mozz sticks were delicious, best vegan chicken Ive had. Perfectly seasoned & fresh food. And Im super grateful for the option to bypass bread and choosing greens. My sister was excited to show me this place, and I understand why! Im a customer for as long as Ill be in the area❤️

Eden Burger has kept pushing and raising the bar over the last several years, and it was really awesome to get to stop back in and see how far theyve come. Especially loved the loaded fries and their shared patio with the Village Idiot. Also super reasonable prices still in spite of the expanded menu! Keep up the good work.

Now that is good vegan food. The burger was so much better than those factory made products. The service was great and they brought the food to us on the patio.

Great shakes, fries, and burger options. Great portions, all vegan of course. Doesnt make me feel full or lazy after consumption. Would be nice to add smoothies and natural drinks to the menu.. I try something different each time I go just to be sure it’s as good as I thought it was lol, and it’s undoubtedly the best vegan restaurant/fast food I’ve had in the Midwest for sure. Large proportions on the fries, which is always nice.

Amazing vegan fast food! Love being able to get greasy, tasty burgers and fries without the animal products! The Bacun Ranch was next level and Ill definitely get that next time we come back. The fried tempeh is just so good

Delicious, as usual! I tried the milkshake for the first time (mint and chocolate), and I really enjoyed it.I ordered for pick up ahead of time and everything was right on time. Great notifications, great service. I ate outside in the open eating area (which was empty on a weekday afternoon). Looking forward to my next meal here.

Super yummy vegan burgers and fast service. Got takeout yesterday and only waited 5 minutes or so. The Eden burger had really savory sauce + pickles while the Hawaiian burger was loaded with a "meaty" patty, barbeque sauce, and grilled pineapple. The bacon ranch burger was also really yummy.Just know that the restaurant is on a super busy street, so give yourself some time to find parking. There are a couple meters out front though!Would highly recommend this place and wish getting here were more convenient from suburbia.

Our burgers were delicious, but be aware that a side is not included. It’s a little pricey, so I’d probably only come back for special occasions. The cookie dough shake had an odd texture, but the overall experience was 4/5. A safe pick for vegan eats!

BEST BURGERS EVER!All vegan and absolutely delicious. We went on a Monday evening for our first visit. No Mac and cheese (unfortunatelywas available that day, but we got:- eden Burger (recommend if not sure what to getwhich was was juicy and gone in seconds- French fries (got a decent amount and looked fresh cut)- double pineapple burger (so good we got a second)- onion rings (really crispy!)- vanilla milkshake (small and simple but good)- 2 smores blonde brownies (a must get if available!)- chikn nuggets (different from others Ive had before but good. Recommend them with the vegan ranch. Were still good as leftovers too)10/10 recommend this place and would go back. A great vegan find! Staff was friendly and place was clean! Quick to respond to fb message.

This place is amazing!!!! You wouldnt know you arent eating real cheese if they didnt tell you. The burgers just wow sooo good. We will be back for sure!

Only doing 4 stars because the shake machine wasnt working, which I was told after I ordered and paid. The burgers were pretty great though! I ordered the Californian burger.

We ate at this place on 2/18/2020, Honestly this place deserves more than 5 stars. The burgers and shakes are absolutely spot on and delicious. Being a vegan has been nothing less than amazing and having restaurants like Eden Burger to go to, contributes more to that amazing experience. Everything tastes fresh and the shakes are the best I have ever had in any restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone vegan or not. You don’t need to be vegan to try/eat delicious tasty food. The pictures I posted are just a few of the many items we enjoyed at Eden Burger. The customer service was not bad, can be improved. Compliments to the chef for amazing food and getting the food out in a quick efficient manner. You rock!

Came here on Valentine’s Day as I wanted to explore more of Columbus. I ordered the Valentine’s Day special, a burger, fries, and a red velvet milkshake (all vegan of courseand it was all quite delicious. The fries are well seasoned, the burger had a house made cheese sauce and good flavor, and the shake had chunks of red velvet cake in it so that hit different. I will definitely have to come again the next time I’m in town to try some other items on the menu.

I mean, come on. This place is just everything you need when you’re craving the best “fast food” ever. If you want my recommendation on what to get, just go enough to get everything. Especially a plant based milkshake.

Waited an entire year to come here and it was sooooo worth it. When we walked in, the staff was so welcoming. They made our food fresh to order and it was still hot when we got home. We split the sandwiches in half so we could sample everything. Everything was so DELICIOUS. Next time we are in Columbus, we will definitely be back

Unbelievable fast food experience. The burgers, the fried pickles and the mozz sticks. Each dish is memorable and crafted to junk food heaven.Located next to a cool bar, you can drink and walk up and order.The staff needs to understand the menu a little more, specifically allergen information.The day we went they were out of shakes, still crying about that.

Everything is vegan! So exciting for my 5 year old and myself! The Eden Burger was great, as were the mozzarella sticks and milkshakes! We will definitely be back!

This is a small vegan restaurant near Ohio State. I ordered the Pretzilla, Buffolove, nuggets, onion rings, loaded fries, mozzarella sticks, and cookie dough shake. All of the food was good. The loaded fries were my favorite. I typically dont like foods made from tempeh or black bean but they pulled it off. I wasnt too excited about the shake but I didnt really get to enjoy it, as I ate too much before. Would definitely recommend for everyone but especially for my vegan fam.

Okay, right at the top - the burgers are dialed-in, and the mozzarella sticks (if you can get them - limited availability!are legit vegan masterworks. The cheese on the burgers has returned to form, gone is the tasty-but-not-worthy cheesy sauce that popped up during a previous menu reconfiguration. The current menu is comprehensive without being complicated, and gives many options for adults and kids alike.The Western burger I ate has a great balance of heat from its jalapenos, salt from the onion rings, fat from the mayo/cheese and acid in the BBQ sauce... My wife had to talk me out of buying a second one to take home, and only succeeded by bribing me with a chocolate shake! A narrow victory for both parties, and another reason to visit Eden Burger again soon!

We are from out of town looking exclusively for vegan restaurants. Columbus has a great food scene, especially vegan eateries. As burgers are my favorite combination food, Eden Burger popped on the radar. We destroyed a three burgers, loaded fries, nuggets, and a chocolate shake. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We will recommend and return. Thanks Eden Burger.

Id give them a 10 star rating if I could. The owners are the coolest guys you could ever meet and they are doing incredible things with this all vegan "fast food" restaurant. Incredible food surrounded by incredible people!

I like this place a lot. The reason it only gets four stars instead of five are things others have mentioned as well. Its a little expensive, and its a VERY small place. We got our food to go so I cant say much about dining there. My husband and I both got burgers, fries and milkshakes. Everything tastes really really good. I agree with what others said, an open minded meat eater would enjoy the food as well! The service was really good, the guy we ordered from was super nice. We will definitely get Eden Burger again. I think I will try to eat there next time.

So grateful for places like this! I got the western burger and it was delicious! I ate my meal in no time. I would definitely bring meat eaters here because their food is THAT GOOD. I wish I lived closer to Columbus so I could come here more often!

The workers were polite. However the space was very tight, uncomfortable even...especially with a 1 and a half year old toddler. I ordered the bbq "chicken" tenders (made with tempehand fries...did not care for the tenders much (cauliflower wouldve worked better as a meat substitute in my opinion). My toddler didnt care for the tenders either. However, we both loved the fries! My friend ordered the Eden burger and I must say that it was SUPER DELICIOUS (I took a few bites of it lol)...I would highly recommend it. The Eden sauce was very tasty as well as the ranch, especially considering that the sauces are also vegan. Loved the natural, healthier version soft drinks. We also ordered a cookies and cream shake to share but didnt care for it much as it mainly tasted like cold, mashed bananas. This place has a lot of potential and I would recommend it to a friend.

We loved the all vegan menu! Everything we tried was delicious - especially the fried pickle chips and the BBQ burger with onion rings. If only there were more vegan onion rings and burgers in the world. This is a rather unflattering photo of what was a quickly devoured and very savory burger.

I wasnt sure what to expect, but I really enjoyed Eden Burger. I LOVE that everything on the menu is vegan, and unlike many vegan restaurants that tend to be more health-food focused, Eden Burger shows the real side of a vegan diet. You can have a burger and fries and a milkshake on a plant-based diet. I ordered the Eden Burger, which had a great flavor (Northstar-esque). It was topped with their special sauce, veggies and vegan pepper jack cheese. My husband got the Buffalo Bleu tender burger, which is essentially a fake buffalo chicken sandwich. Our daughter ordered the tenders (seitanand ate them all, which really surprised me. We each got "milkshakes." I highly recommend the peanut butter chocolate. Great work to Alex and his friends who run the place and who we got to meet this evening. Well definitely be back.
