Edemi in K'ut'aisi

Scam! This hotel was moved to 51 Paolo Iashvili Street two years ago. The new address is two kilometers from the center. After booking, the owner directs to this new address and pretending to have forgotten to update the business card.

See reviews for Edemi castle on google maps if you are booking over booking com. Avoid this hotel this is total fraud if you are not lucky for good mood of owner. Owner is cheating with guests booking over booking com. There are two different places Edemi and Edemi castle on booking. But in reality Edemi castle is at point where google shows just Edemi hotel. The worst thing was that we had even prepaid reservation and they confirmed it towards my question on the day of arrival. But once I asked if we will be placed to Edemi castle and not Edemi they immediately cancelled our reservation. Plus they send over officisl booking messaging like 20 rude words... never experinced such behaviour. It was just few hours before arrival. Not worth the trouble. Avoid.

They canceled my confirmed booking on the phone, at the last moment, leaving me at night, in a new city, without knowing a place to go. They did that with a rude message, trying to find excuses. They proposed to go to some other mysterious address. And thats all ok: those things can happen. The bad part is that they are trying to make me pay - via the platform Booking - for a room that THEY canceled (on the phoneand that I did not use.

The hotel is an old historic mansion. Its refurbished, but you can share a lot of texture.The owner is a very interested person. Its a mile from the square. On the way to the hotel, you will find that the historical soviet housesYou can take pictures along the way as the cars do not bother you.

They dont clean the rooms and they take offence and leave you on the street with your baggage when you say them about it.Dont go there

They can cancel your booking anytime by themself without informing you at the last moment even you already booked with them one month ago. They will sell your room to another guest at a higher price and kick you out even without caring about anything. This Hotel was booked for a family and before one day of check-in, we called to make sure everything and they start talking rudely that why you booked our hotel as we already have a group on this date. How we know that you have a group on that date moreover we booked a room in your hotel one month ago. If you dont know how to deal with the hotel business then open some other business. Cheaters...

After a few nights in a guesthouse I wanted AC and my own bathroom. Edemi delivered both in an over-the-top big bedroom and bathroom. For £16 an amazing value. The owner didn’t speak English. Free WiFi that was excellent. And can pay by credit card. About a 15-minute walk to the centre. So why only three stars? The power cut off overnight bc of a storm and somehow that disconnected the water supply?! That makes no sense. And why doesn’t the hotel have a backup generator?! Thank god I took a shower the night before as there was no water in the sink/shower/toilet. Obviously WiFi and all was out too.

This hotel is amazing. It is a old building turned into a hotel. Its looks are different. The owner is a very friendly man. They serve breakfast for just 10 lari per person and the options are more. Staffs are also friendly.

Avoid this hotel. They do not respect reservations. You are diverted to another hotel with the same name but much worse, they charge you the same, they do not allow you to pay with a credit card and they do not give you an invoice. I had never seen anything like it.

Very unprofessional and unfriendly staff. They do not speak English nor Russian with us... Slightly devastated furniture in the room. My feeling was like staying in an ex-worehouse. I dont recommend.

Located in the quiet area although very close to main railway station and the city center. Rooms are spacious and clean. The only one drawback it was a bed in my room. It should be replaced.

Apart from great location the best thing about the property was the free airport transfer for genius travellers. The room was spacious and clean.Difficult to communicate as the staff barely speaks any English and the staff not so friendly apart from one girl.

This Hotel is really amazing :-Price is really nice for the Quality you get, unfortunately I wont take Breakfast so I cant judge this point but Parking free and Wifi is 100% good. The room was very clean and big. Bathroom even for big people good. And service speaks Russian and Georgian but even with English they try to help you as much as possible :-)

Take care as this place is available with 2 names in booking one with a high price and the other with a low price so that they can target as many travellers, and the stuff there dont speak a good English and one of them treated us in a very bad way
