Colourful chain diner dishing up US comfort-food classics such as burgers, fries and shakes.
Disgusted with the service in this Eddie rockets…. Came to eat food with my friend and was left waiting 30+ minutes to make an order…. then when are order finally went trough I asked to add something on and with complete laziness he told me he couldn’t as the receipt had been printed with my order on it???? Who refuses to add something else on to an order because the receipt is printed?? All you have to do is go back and put it on and print another receipt, the pay before you even eat your meal is ridiculous maybe it wouldn’t have been such a hassle to the employee if they didn’t make you pay before you eat ur food!!? as a worker in hospitality myself I know it is my job to cater any needs my customer has and any needs I had today where not met. The employees all seem to have this laziness about them, everyone constantly on their phones not looking at what needs to be done I wasn’t the only table left waiting there where a few others too….
Their portions seem to have gotten smaller. The food is good though.
After ordering we waited 50 Minutes to receive our food, no communication with staff and customers apologizing for the delay. They were a little busy, also noticed that they had 3 booths taken up with stock (crates of drinks, bags, computerwitch were badly needed to seat customers,.When the food eventually arrived it was not that hot was only warm. But was that hungry we just eat it anyway as kids were hungry and could not wait anymore.More staff Is badly needed
What a great experience for our firat visit!Amazing food (hamburgers, chips, wings and shakes), very generous portions (even the kiddies meal), great taste and freshly prepared. Staff were friendly, helpful and prompt. Great service! We will definitely return, keep up the good work.
While shopping in the local Celbridge facilities a group of youths Ive been told by the Scandalous Seven started harassing the worker of my favourite establishment, Polonez. They were bullying her over not having the new Michael Jordan basketball. Of course I stepped in when all if a sudden, the leader if the group, Dylan Cleary stepped forward. He was wearing a Tank top, shorts and a basketball hat that was backwards. Naturally I was scared and intimated by his manlyness and made a run for itm the rest of the Scandalous Seven took chase when one of the waitresses from Eddie Rockets allowed me to take refuge. This is when Darragh Nolan, the big muscle man stepped of the C4 bus. He leaped to my rescue and we kissed in the door way. I was given a free burger by Eddie Rockets for the hassle. Dylan Cleary and the Scandalous Seven retreated back to Celbridges Basketball court and where never seen again.
Efficient service , food tasty, tried the "Volcano burger" excellent
I hadn’t been to Eddie Rocket’s for a while but tried this branch and found the food excellent. Fresh, tasty, good service great chips. Not sure why it is prepaid but I would say it’s more because of people being untrustworthy than anything else. Excellent and I will be back.
Enjoyed my takeout, service is prompt, good staff too
Classic burger and fries, chilled drinks: delicious ! Pay before you eat! Good idea.
Couldnt believe the quality of the food. Fresh and served hot. Staff are prompt and friendly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Brilliant. A real treat. Vegan and vegetarian well catered for.
The quality of the food has dropped considerably as they’ve clearly cut corners left, right and centre to increase their profit margins. There was barely any sauce on the burgers which are now much cheaper cuts of meat, smaller in size and clearly from frozen. Eddie’s positions itself as a premium restaurant known for its burgers but no longer has the standards to match. The milkshakes were practically just milk so don’t even bother. Our server was attentive at the beginning but nobody checked in on us or any of the tables while we were there. €40 for 2 burgers, 2 cheese fries and 2 milkshakes, a €7 increase on pre-pandemic prices at that. Would have given this place 5 stars previously but we won’t be back.
Lovely food and service. Catered for young and old
Eddies was always a sure thing for quality food, at a premium price. Now the prices have risen, it’s over priced and sub par. The burger I got had wafer thin beef, in fact calling it beef is being polite. It tasted like something you’d buy in Dealz. They apply the sauce with a toothpick to the burger, and the container your side of sauce arrives in would have the Borrowers struggling to share it. The fries weren’t fresh, I’ve had better from McCains microwave chips. The milkshake is more milk than shake. No wonder they make you pay first.
Consistent quality as assured by the excellent staff even when busy .
Really gone downhill since it opened. Food quality has declined significantly. Chips have been consistently terrible the last few times - always refried, never freshly cooked. Service is much worse.Eddie Rockets in general was always priced at a premium above fast food places and that was okay as it offered better quality food with decent service. Now theres really no reason to bother aside from the milkshakes. FiveGuys, KFC, MadEgg, Supermacs, even Burger King are better.
My last time in this restaurant. So you need to pay before you even get served?? Who does this? Its called a restaurant, not takeaway eat on the bench outside!! Food is expensive, a machine soda ( cokeis 3€. No more free refills! So while you eat you want another drink, get your card out again, pay and then get your second drink! Thats €6 for a soda out of a machine, not even a genuine Coca Cola! Not a nice experience. Is this ER way to return their losses during C19 even they operated as takeway all along? Wont be coming here again
I ordered a kids slider meal and they sent me a plain hamburger with nothing on it
Kids loved the Pizza and the Boneless Wings in Franks Hot Sauce were AMAZING!
Ordered for collection, arrived on time to collect and told it would be another 3 minutes. It was 20 minutes as I got forgotten, despite having a screaming toddler with me. Food was given to me cold. Wouldn’t go again
I am a huge fan of the Eddie rockets franchise, and up until this point have been eating in the Celbridge establishment biweekly.Unfortunately the experience I had today has caused me to decide I will not be returning. We ordered food and drinks, but one of the milkshakes had a persons hair in the bottom of it.After making a member of staff (Aoifeaware of this, she offered to give us a replacement milkshake. At this point I felt ill at the thought of having one.She then took the milkshake away. After waiting 10 minutes with no sign a staff member coming to discuss the situation, I had to go up to the till and ask Aoife what she would do to rectify the situation, she then referred me to her supervisor. This woman was incredibly obnoxious and rude about the fact we would not take another milkshake, and proceeded to refund us for just the milkshake alone, without offering any type of apology. Clearly this isn’t a once off occurrence, as through reading reviews there is a common trend. Obviously HACCP Food health and safety training has not been adequately undergone by staff members, along with just a common sense of manners.
Best food ever couldnt say anuff about the food and staff
Standards have fallen. Wow. Not a patch on the food served here in years past. From 5 stars in 2018, down to 2
Recommend eating in, deliveries are always either cold or incredibly late, food is good when warm, would recommend the smokestack burger though be warned they sometimes put way too much spice on the chips and they end up tasting like pure cinnamon
I visited this restaurant for the first time in March 22. It was lunchtime and very little people in the place. We had Burger and chips which were lovely. The service was efficent and staff were friendly. We will definitely go back there again.
Great hot food, lovely staff, very clean, fast service. I tried their pizza and its the best i can find in 30km radius..no joke
Lovely food and nice atmosphere. Shout out to the excellent staff
Food was typical Eddie Rockets fare. Manager could have been a bit friendlier. Seemed put out to have to split a bill.
1st time in years in Eddie rob your pockets or so I used to think how wrong was I... theyve up there game on the quality of the food aswel..Would definitely recommend this branch the staff where on point 👌 and the food was delicious credit where its dueWill deffo be back
Nice food at good prices served by nice staff
Place is great , they have a small dessert meal but my god it’s delicious, 5.95 for a browney with ice cream and chocolate in a massive cup is super , well done
Great food. Ordered in the restaurant for take away and the food was ready very quick. Good price, good service and good food.
Very good food excellent service friendly staff
The new burger is absolutely amazing. I swapped the cranberry sauce for secret sauce and it was just delicious. The food was quite late but they rang me and apologized and offered a free dessert. Food was nice and hot and absolutely delicious.
The take-away is just shocking. We ordered for my daughters birthday. I got the chicken tenders, the wrong sauce was give and there were 3 led like bland tenders in the box, there were barely any chips also. Extremely disappointed.
I have always enjoyed a visit to Eddie Rockets, but last evening in the Celbridge branch as I waited to place my order, I observed the young man taking the orders and the two girls working the floor were wearing their masks properly, to their credit. But the man who makes up the burgers wore his mask around his neck, breathing directly onto the food he was preparing for the unsuspecting customers. His colleague had his big nose sticking out over his. One wonders at the wisdom of allowing these places to open.By allowing this behaviour Eddie Rockets is showing scant regard for its customers, little wonder Covid is on the rise. I did not dine and wont be back.
Blood in the chicken!!!! 60 euro worth of food bought aswell. Disgusting. Its just food poisoning waiting to happen this is Ridiculous. So so disgusting no one should ever buy here with this quality of food
Lots of heart warming foods but can find a healthy option too.The malts are to die for, chicken wings and fries are my favourite.
Delicious burgers!! Doing take outs place very clean, staff use had sanitiser after each customer. Very fast cooking orders, didnt have to wait long.
Wish I could give minus star rating. Ordered food for delivery last night, took 1hour 45 minutes and arrived stone cold, inedible. Restaurant wouldnt even answer the phone when I called wanting a refund, If youre locked down and want a decent takeaway delivered I would suggest you go elsewhere cause this place is a joke.
Great experience on our visit. The staff followed all covid protocol, were pleasant and food was delicious. They provided crayons and paper to keep the kids happy while waiting for the food.
Currently no dine in available, only take out or delivery. But great to see theyre keeping their restrooms open. Spotless with staff constantly using hand sanitiser, as well as it being both at the entrance and the dedicated table for customers to sit and wait for their order.Albeit not the cheapest, the food was nice & tasty.
The food was lovely. The service brillant. the place was spotless, all guidelines followed. The manager Daniel was very attentive and was keeping a close eye on everything, from people coming in to collect takeaways to coming on to sit and eat.. Excellent customer service... Well worth a visit...
Best Eddie Rockets around. We always choose the Celbridge branch. Food is quick to arrive and very tasty. Large car park, great location. Restaurant is spotlessly clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. Very recommended.
Really disappointed. I ordered for collection and sent my 13 year old daughter in to pay. Staff ignored her and didnt prepare the food properly and handed her change back roughly. You should treat all customers properly.
Handy to get parked, restaurant is extremely clean. Family deal is brilliant value. Place was quiet when we were here (Sunday early afternoon). Food was quick to arrive and tasty. Server polite and helpful. Toilets were spotlessly clean.
My second time eating at this Eddie rockets and once again it has let it’s self down. Firstly the staff are unfriendly and impatient. The waitress didn’t give us 5minutes to look at the menu’s (luckly we knew what we wanted). That time I had eaten here I got sick from the food so I pushed it aside thinking maybe it was just a fluke. My partner had brought back his milkshake and asked if he could just get a coke as there was something in the drink. That was no problem to the staff because they just gave him the coke and then gave the rest of his milkshake to someone who came in to be on shift and walked into the back. When asked about it the server denied it when clearly we watched them do that. And now today my son has been sick. He got a kids hot dog meal. This place needs to up there game or close down.
Nice diner food and good, attentive service. Only drawback is that the booths are a little small for a family of five - and would be better if they had a wine licence! But recommended overall.
Best Eddie Rockets by a mile. Our first time visiting the Celbridge branch. Definitely be back!
Paid a visit recently with my niece and nephew, staff were so helpful and attentive, gave the kids colouring pages and talked to them and really involved them in the experience. Food was top class, very fast and hot. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely return soon
