Pessoal muito simpático, boa comida a bons preços, muito bom ambiente (excelente seleção de músicas), com uma variedade de cervejas (pouco comuns em restaurantes/bares na ilha). Experiência a repetir.

Best owner, super friendly, makes really strong ponchas (if thats your thing), great burgers and ribs. I was here 3 times, every time was a great experience.

Just left this establishment, never to return I ordered a double American burger and my brother ordered a double chicken burger, my burger came out and it looked liked it had been boiled and they forgot to cook his second fillet for his sandwich so we had to wait a little longer for his, once it arrived I sent mine back and told them it wasn’t cooked right, I told them I didn’t want another one but they insisted, my brother then found a sheet of paper in his sandwich which he had eaten half of, he removed the paper and carried on eating his sandwich, he found it amusing but I didn’t having a BBQ business of my own I feel that this just isn’t acceptable he got a 20% discount which was 2 euros and I left my new untouched burger that I didn’t want and they happily charged me for it and said they only had one chef and they were extremely busy there was 6 people in the establishment including us. It’s disappointing but as I explained to my very forgiving and non confrontational brother these places inspired me to start my business so I thank them for such a poor offering. I just hope this helps the business owner to insure the quality improves, also real BBQ shouldn’t be saus vide it should be smoked with real wood or a least pellets. Each to there own I hope it gets better and hopefully a business to be proud off.

This was our second time coming to Ed’s. The first time we were missing a little bit of our home in California. So we decided to try out some American style burgers and ribs. We were a little hesitant at first but thank god we decided to try it! They truly make you feel at home with a smile and hospitality. We have tried 2 burgers and a BBQ pork plate. Everything has been A+ down to the ice cream and drinks. If you are missing home like us or want to try some authentic American meals please make this your number one spot to visit!Thank youED and Jr. for making us feel welcomed!See you soon for that Mac N cheese!!

Came from California to visit Madeira and accidentally came across this restaurant! So glad my fiancé and I did, the food was better than expected especially for the price. The people were so nice and welcoming as well! Will definitely come back again during our visit here!

Excellent food being American it was a joy to have such great quality meat for a burger. My husband also enjoyed his Texas burger. The staff was friendly. Cant wait to revisit and try the whole menu 👍🏾

Staff was very helpful and nice. Mozzarella sticks are so huge, then we take some chicken breast and that was amazing. Every our meal was around 9€

Very awsome! The food (we had the beef ribs and the texas burgerwas simply this: The best burger either of us have ever eaten. The taste and textures were perfectly balanced (meat, bacon, cheese, pickle, tomato, crispy brioche bunand super yummy, tender, savoury ribs. The portions are huge so they were perfect for sharing The fries were very good and tbh. this was one of the best side salads I ever had. Fresh, crispy with a simple dressing that neither overpowered the burger and ribs nor was is boring.I really recommend Eds, you can taste the love for food and quality. Also the service is super nice and friendly.

Served a raw burger. Cold and bloody in the middle. Then had the audacity to knock a whole 2 Euro off the final bill saying most of it had been eaten... Not the case . Shame really as my wifes food was okay. The table server was clearly embarrassed by relaying the message from the so called chef.

Great place to eat!Good environment with a nice soundtrack (Dire Straits, Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc), having 15+ beer options with very tasty hamburguers that made me opt out of Madeiras great fish dishes to prioritize Eds hamburguer. Although all these features are great, I think the best thing of this restaurant is its service!! Incredible staff!!

Mon plat était correcte mais pour ma conjointe qui avait choisi la spécialité de la maison (les côtes levéesc’était carrément décevant. On a servi des côtes levées trop cuites et vraiment très sèches. On a pût manger que la moitié. Aucunes excuses du chef... ils n’en ont rien à cirer de notre avis.

Aunque cierran a las 23:30 desde las 22:20 ya nos restringen las opciones de carta a hamburguesas y costillas porque no quieren cocinar platos elaborados porque "van a cerrar pronto": ¡una hora antes!Un restaurante con pocas ganas de cocinar...La cantidad es suficiente

Freundliche Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen ! Wir waren mehrmals dort und haben immer richtig gut gegessen. Es gibt nicht nur sehr gute Burger sondern auch Pasta Salate Risottos usw.
