Ecological park Serra da Lousã in Coimbra
Description
Privilege
A nice park to walk around, though lots of steep hills as you climb up the side of the hill to see all the different animals. My granddaughter liked seeing all the goats, sheep and deer. Cafe at the entrance, along with toilets.
MoreThe space is very well kept, and have a very knowledgeable and welcoming team.
Animals are happy and healthy. Park is well mainted. Entrance fee is high at €11 for an adult ticket. Takes about an hour to 90 minutes to see everything.
MoreAwesome 👌
Very good Chanfana and perfect friendly service
A real asset to Miranda
Nice wild life park. They have twi bears and a huge pack of iberian linces.
Very well mantained. It has a lot of diversity and the animals looks healthy and active. I enjoyed my visit a lot.
MoreNice place for the kids
Sad place. Sad animals. Don’t go there if you love animals
Great scenery, a perfecta way to spend your day.
A pleasant place to visit with family but lacks organization. We found the birds habitats very small and lacked trees or bushes to perch on.We were also surprised to see a friendly dog in a cage like it was a wild animal. It should walk freely inside the park

The park offers a comfortable walking path to watch domestic and wild animals of the region. The panoramic view of the Temple site is impressive. The Temple can be accessed by car, if you want to avoid an additional one hour walking.
MoreGreat place to visit with family. It has two areas: one focused on farm animals and another focused in wild animals mainly from Portugal wildlife
MoreLovely place, you can walk 5 miles inside park, and every corner is a surprise with animals watching you.
MoreThis place has the making of an awesome day for a family. There is a mini zoo with farm animals as well as some wild ones. There are some areas for workshops, pottery, shoe making but also horse riding and countless others.
MoreNice ecological park
Great afternoon. Fading the domestic animal was great for the kids
Great!
To see deer who must be able to smell the wolves that overlook them is so sad. An animal park that keeps hunters & their natural prey in enclosures that face each other was designed or maintained by people who have either no care or consideration for the animals they keep. The birds of prey do not have enough space to fly. They all look so miserable & the 2 large dogs from the region, kept in separate cages next to each other so they cant even play together is such a depressing sight. Thats no way to treat mans best friend.Im not even going to go into more detail about the bears, lynxes & the otter. This place is a disgrace. The owners should be ashamed of themselves.
MoreA great day out and a bargain at €20 for a family ticket
A hidden gem. I went with my two sons (4 & 1and they loved it. You can easily spend all day here. Highly recommend.
MoreA nice ecological zoo with the possibility of feeding some farm animals as well.
What an awesome place to visit!
Great experience
Good spot to relax... i love.

Its a nice place. I liked the the farm petting zoo, but I wasnt so happy with the wild animals exhibit, as they were contained within fences in a rather small area

Well organized and with pretty decent sized habitats for the generality of the animals in there, except, maybe, for the bears that probably would like some more room. Its great for kids.
MoreBeautiful is the word that better describes this park! The wildlife is very well kept and the entire park is clean. Feeding the animals with food bags bought at the entry is an awesome experience!

Nice place to visit. Last year I also have visited the farm and I took the impression there were more animals...the the walking tracks all have been paved, So u know.
MoreNice place ! Kind people! Animals in good shape!
It is a beautiful place I recommend to visit
An excellent family day out to both domestic and wild animals. Educational and fun. The staff are kind and its a beautiful spot.
MoreLooking forward to seeing it again when the weather is nice.
Quiet nature, animals are well taken care of.
Wonderful place with several farm animals as well wild animals
Good place to visit , loved all the animals
Quinta da Paiva is a mixed bag of goodies. The farm yard section is fun as you can feed all the animals from little piglets to goats and sheep. On the other hand the wildlife section leaves a lot to be desired. Signage isnt very helpful and some of the enclosures are either too small or too dirty. You are able to see bears, deer, wolves, and a lama. I find it could do with some upgrading.
