No WiFi or internet… heaven, falling asleep to the sound of the jungle is magical and relaxing. Knowledgeable guides, beautiful grounds, food ok and the room was comfortable. Recommend if you want to sample the Amazon. Karen & Alan

Hemos pasado dos días en este logde en nuestro viaje a Perú. Un lugar para desconectar y estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Nos encantó las cabañas, los servicios, el personal, los guías, la comida y las actividades. Lo hemos disfrutado mucho.

Had a wonderful multi-day stay with this welcoming company and enjoyed seeing the Amazon forest with their guides and relaxing with the amenities at the lodge. The location and facilities are very beautiful and up to date. We woke up every morning to birdsong and amazing food. The guides are knowledgeable and very good at explaining. The company took great care of us on the front and back end too, helping us to/from the airport/bus terminal. Would recommend this place to anyone.One note: there is no WiFi or phone reception, so a great way to truly detach and enjoy nature.

Amazing little place deep in the jungle with no wifi or reception. Heavenly in its isolation. Great to arrange trips from there up and down the river and to also go and sample some of the local goods and foods such as cacao. Very peaceful and has a decent bar with some fun cocktails. It also has an ecological ice cold pool which is great when the climate is sweltering.Monkeys and other critters live nearby too.

En välskött lodge med väldigt trevlig personal. Frukosten var inte så bra men lunch o middag var väldigt bra.Rummet var bra rent o trädgården var väldigt fin. Turerna var en härlig upplevelse.

Fuimos una amiga y yo y lo pasamos increíble. El personal súper atento, el gerente todo el tiempo pendiente de nosotras y urbano, nuestro guía una maravilla. El Lodge es una pasada, las habitaciones súper bien y esta genial poder relajarse en la zona de hamacas y en la piscina. Hemos comido genial, platos típicos de la zona y abundante. En el bar tienen zumos naturales que se notan que la fruta es fresca, tenéis que probarlos!!. Las excursiones genial, ver todo aquello es una maravilla, el respeto que tienen por la naturaleza. Era la primera vez que íbamos a la selva y hemos salido enamorada de ella. ES UNA EXPERIENCIA QUE TENÉIS QUE VIVIR!!

The BEST Amazon experience!!!This was my husband and my first time to the Amazon and it was the last two days of a three week trip to Colombia, Ecuador, the Galapagos, and Peru. This was by far our favorite part of the entire trip which was a pleasant surprise because we had no idea what to expect! We had recently gone to a safari in South Africa and that is probably the closest thing I can compare this to. It is such an immersive, incredible experience.The accommodations themselves are wonderful, comfortable and combines the wildness of the jungle with the luxury of a resort. We loved our little bungalow, even without WiFi, because that really helped us escape the busy world of emails and social media and made us just relax and enjoy being in the moment. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the sounds of the jungle helped give me the best two nights of sleep I had our entire trip. The food is AMAZING. My husband is a professional chef and we were both in awe of how flavorful and perfectly seasoned everything was. I’m a vegetarian and never expect anything too great when I’m on vacation, but this was out of this world. Compliments to the chef! You can really tell the whole staff is really passionate about what they do and creating the best environment for their guests. My husband even became good friend with the bartender and played some rounds of pool and uno with Raul!Victor, the guide, is also just a wealth of knowledge. He has spent his entire life in and around the rainforest and knows every plant and animal in there as well as different medicinal and culinary uses. You can tell he truly loves what he does and I am so thankful that he was our guide. Thank you thank you thank you Victor!In regards to the actual activities we did, one morning we went on a 6 hour, 10 km walking and canoeing trip. We were in awe the entire time and my husband said that this was his favorite activity we’ve done (considering we did the sacred valleys me Machu Picchu, swimming with sea lions in the Galapagos, and a coffee plantation tour in Colombia on this trip, this was pretty high praise). My personal favorite was a trip to monkey island where we were able to hand feed the rescue monkey population! We also went on a night cruise on the river where we saw more caiman.All in all, the absolute best and we can wait to return again someday and send as many people there as we can to support the best lodge in the Peruvian Amazon!!

Очень крутое место. 1,5 часа от Пуэрто Мальдонадо на лодке и вы в раю. В лодже вас тепло встретят и вкусно накормят. Дорога в лодке очень быстро пролетит с историями и шикарными фото об этом месте.

Excellent séjour de 4 jours, loin de tout, perdu en forêt. Accueil très sympa, lodge agréable et visite de la faune et la flore avec Victor, qui est exceptionnel !Pas de Wifi, pas de télé, juste la nature.Nourriture excellente !

The perfect Amazon lodge. Staff was friendly. Activity choises were fun and informative. Cabins were clean and comfortable.

I went there in 2014. They pick you up in Puerto Maldonado. Lots of nature trails. Saw many animals. Went piranha fishing. Food is good and cabins comfortable. Good value for the price.

Great staff, very helpful, wonderful cultural experience.

Clean rooms & nice meals but the mosquito netting around the rooms and pool was incomplete which resulted in lots of insects/mosquitos getting in. Needs nets over the beds

We had a really wonderful time and I miss it so much now!!! EcoAmazonia is a beautiful place, and the staff/tour guides are really AMAZING! Theyre very nice and helpful. Our tour guide Richard and another younger one (I dont know his nameare the best! They have great knowledge about the rain forest and theyre very caring.There are things that can be improved: morning tour finished at 11:30 and afternoon tour starts at 3:30, so we had to stay at the lodge but the fans dont work during these period. It was super hot and uncomfortable. Also the boat only leave the hotel once each day at 8 a.m., which is not convenient for those who have late flight/bus.

I actually cannot understand all the good reviews from this place. The staff here were so rude to our group and almost half of us got sick. I did not but I also did not eat anything, recognizing a lot of food was sitting out longer than it should have. There was not enough water because they close the kitchen dining area where you can get filtered water only at certain times. Food was awful. Its a lot of extra just to create hype for tourists.

If you can find it, this place is Amazing! See attached PHOTOS. The jungle is so loud at night it is almost impossible to sleep, but who cares! You can see the whole Miley Way at night! Limited power so bring chargers and butteries. Zero cell reception as you can imagine take all the local guided trips thru the jungle. Watch out for Puma and Snakes!

Wunderschön und mitten im Regenwald.Ich habe die Lodge 4 Tage besucht und war begeistert.Man lebt für eine kurze Zeit mitten im Regenwald, was mich sehr beeindruckt hat. Allein die Geräusche die man jeden Tag um sich herum hat sind ganz wunderbar. Zudem kommen noch schöne Ausflüge / Wanderungen die man mit einem jeweiligen Gudie der Lodge unternimmt. Hier erfährt man viel, über die verschiedenen Pflanzen und Tierarten.Mann bekommt viele Infos und kann jederzeit Fragen stellen, die man nett, ausführlich und toll erklärt bekommt.Das Essen auf der Logde ist super und reichaltig. Man bekommt besondere "Dschunhelnahrung" bzw Menüs, die mit viel Liebe zubereitet sind.Zudem kann man auf der Lodge einen Pool benutzen.Ich habe aus meiner Zeit dort viel mitnehmen können und denke gern an die Logde zurück.Das es nur wenige Stunden am Tag/Abend Strom gibt, hat mich nicht gestört, ganz im Gegenteil, es ist auch mal schön, nicht dauerhaft erreichbar zu sein und einfach mal wieder ganz mit sich selbst beschäftigt zu sein.Vorsicht, sehr viele Moskitos!! Die gehören aber halt eben dazu :D lange Kleidung trotz des warmen Wetters tragen!

Whilst the stay was relaxing, it might have been a bit TOO relaxing for us (group of 4 active travellers). If you like to be active and are quite fit, you might find the walks quite short - and the paths (which you mustnt deviate fromvery well trodden / not THAT exciting. I couldnt help but feel youd be incredibly lucky to see any of the more shy animals.Other than the above we had a great stay, very good food/bar, games/pool to use when not out in the jungle. Site manager came across initially a bit hostile, but warmed when you talked to him about the jungle or showed him pics of what you had seen that day. Guides spoke reasonable English and knew how to have fun.

A sweet spot > far away from everything zero network well maintained yet the main manager is so not fun ! Unpleasant energy ! a bit of a elementary schooling attitude nothing positive & protecting all rules 24 hours ! - the local guides like David & Victor are amazing ! food ok - just before a very early early must check out to catch the boat ! all towels were removed from the rooms ! we were a group of the people !

I had the BEST experience here. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable and excited about what they were doing. They wanted each of us to have the best experience possible. The accommodations were better than I was expecting for a jungle lodge and the food was so good. The pool was also a really nice touch on some hot and humid afternoons. We did the two night, three day experience which I think was the perfect amount of time.

Very well built and organised, immaculate gardens that attracts some wildlife, good food (buffet). Big, open common areas with games (table tennis, pool, swimming pool), environmentally conscious and responsible. Electricity for 5 hours a day in the evening.

An amazing experience. Its the staff that really contribute to the experience. We eventually got used to the cold showers. The most fun was had by the 6 yr and 8 yr olds we brought along. We did 3 days. Hiking, fishing and monkey island. Note: its one bag per person. We should have been advised earlier. Jose, the manager really takes care of everyone. The kids cant stop talking abt the place.

We were surrounded by a fascinating environment, in abundance of species of plants and animals. The location of the Eco Lodge is simply great. There is no other lodge after that point in that particular region into Amazon.There is no electiricty during the daylight, just for half an hour in the evenings. I did not like the local dish cooked for the guests, made from rice, veggies, chicken and boiled egg, all stuffed in a banana leaf. The best part of that vacation was the Amazon cruise. We had two and one of them was at night to see caymans. The second cruise was to experience the indigenous peoples daily life. Also the waterway between Puerto Maldonado and the Eco Lodge was just breathtaking and unique. We had an unforgettable once-in-a-life-time vacation.

Amazing experience in the middle of the rain forest! Great food, far better than what we expected, helpful and friendly staff. I recommend to stay at least 3 days.

For being in the middle of nowhere the food is good and staff is friendly and helpful. Guides are great. Limited power and freezing water. Bugs in room, but really, what do you expect? Monkey island was amazing. By far the highlight of my stay. Pool was cool, both figuratively and literally. Personally, I would have done it as a day trip, but it was definitely worth getting the experience.
