Excellent place to hang out with family and friends. Great view and great service. Everyone was so nice and helpful, always ready to offer any help you need. They also offered a free head and neck massage.100% recommended

Overpriced, brekfast was not ready at the time they said. Not a very good option. No one helps with the bags to your room and it is a looong way... rooms are ok but not up to standard. Not good options in the kitchen.

Beautiful waterfall. Easy hike. Relaxing environment. You can walk behind the waterfall, too! You can also hike above it. It has a restaurant and restrooms.

If you like nature this is a perfect place, the view is amazing 😍 You can swim (the water is very cold to thoughThe staff is nice and helpful, food is ok, prices are fine. There are a lot of stairs, so it might be difficult to get there for small kids or seniors. Overall this is a place you should visit at least once in a lifetime.

Beautiful waterfall with a cave behind to get a different perspective, the Lodge has an on-site restaurant and facilities, even accommodation. A small trail will take you to a more remote pool for bathing and swimming. Its worth the 100C entrance fee! Beware that you will have to walk many stairs though so if thats an issue I dont suggest going. It takes about 3 min to climb down to the waterfall from the main road.

The only reason why I give this place 4 stars is because I prefer locations where I can do more than just sightsee. The scenery is beautiful, but after a couple of hours, that is it. Nothing else to do. I suggested they install a zipline crossing the waterfall. Hopefully, they listen.

Its the best experience to see a wonderful and refresh water fall... With the your family.... Great place to take a lot shot... However the restaurant lack of menu and creativity..... Parrillada for 4 people the chicken Wings no recommended... At all....

This place is so beautiful because of it nature..everything is nature...love it.

Definitely worth the drive. The drive itself from Matagalpa is beautiful, twisty and slow... More time to enjoy the views on the way. The falls are easily accessible to most people who have decent mobility. You can walk right down to the waters edge and also behind the waterfall for spectacular photos. The lighting would be better in the morning especially for taking photos.

Its beautiful, food is good, too. The only thing is that they dont have TV they are against TV use in here, but the wifi reception is great!!!!

Beautiful tall waterfalls splash over a large opening of a stone mountian with a wide mouthed cave you can sit in and see the wonderous views of the watterfalls, mountians and foilage all around. It was refreshing to sit in the pools by the rapids near the cave, and a beautiful view all around of the Nicaraguan mountian countryside. The walkway to the cave and rapids has a beautiful Spanish-Nicaraguan style restraunt built into the side of the hill. It had very beautiful scenery and made for a nice relaxing afternoon.

Beautiful! We spent a few hours there. Swam in the cool water & walked around. We enjoyed our time. They have bathrooms and changing rooms, even a restaurant. I would definitely return.

Entrance great value C$70 for big powerful waterfall. There is swimming near the waterfall as well as little pools. You can take a walk to see the top of the falls and take a walk under the falls. Everything is kept clean, really minimal trash. There are bathrooms and changing rooms. The scenery is stunning, no wild animals to see unfortunately though.The cafe/restaurant serves a real espresso coffee. The food is ok, the tacos fall apart because the filling was soupy and chunky. I recommend the quesadilla.The staff working and maintaining the eco-lodge are very nice and speak great English. Everyone is very helpful.

I loved this place so much. Such a charming and relaxed spot. The food is great. Water is a little bit cold but once in the river you dont even feel it. Id like to stay there for a whole day in the future. Recommended!

What a beautiful place with amazing views. Very delicious meals were also prepared as part of the price. Would have stayed longer but rather expensive which is the reason for only 4 stars.

Beautiful location and the drive out was amazing. You can wade in the creek below the falls to cool down but they no longer let you swim in the main pool. Kind of a bummer. I would like to swim but a few poor swimers or idiots go right under the falls drowned and ruin it for everyone. Let Darwinism prevale. Swim at your own risk.So i would give it 5 stars for beauty and i enjoyed it but only 4 as i wasnt allowed to swim like you used to be able too.

A very Nice place , friendly staff ,there is two restaurants, one is on the entrance level where the parking lot is at the other one has a nice view of the waterfall , the fee to see the waterfall if $70 Córdobas per person,to stay at the hotel is $ 35 dollars per person, some meals are included and i think drinks.they prefer you not to swim in the waterfall,but people swim anyway.

We stayed here for one night with our 3 young kids and enjoyed a swim, hike, cave and falls. It was fun to have the deck and restaurant to ourselves for dinner and games. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the waterfall. It is a very beautiful place. In the morning we went to the cave before the place opened and had a lot of fun with chasing over a 100 bats that were in the cave.Dinner and breakfast came with the overnight stay and was disappointed there was only the option of breakfast for dinner. The mosquito netting in our room for most of the beds did not cover the whole bed and had lots of holes. Other than that rooms and comfort of beds were good. Location of room was perfect. We found the people here were not that friendly but maybe it was because we could only speak a little Spanish. Cave and beauty of the area made this a 4 instead of a 3.

Beautiful waterfall, you can enjoy of a wonderful view, nature, hiking and healthy food at their restaurant. The staff is also nice and kind. During your visit you can go visit the cave, after crossing down the waterfall.

We love visiting this beautiful waterfall. We live about an hour away and every time we have visitors we make the trip to go see the falls. You can take a short trail behind the falls that leads to a cave area with seats and a great view of the falls.

Especially beautiful this time of year. Everything is so green and the cascade is spectacular.

In the rainy season, this is a beautiful waterfall surrounded by lush rainforest. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The restaurant was clean and the food was good.

Itis a very nice place to spent the day or to stay the night. People can do activities like rappeling, hiking and photography.

Must visit in the Northern part of Nicaragua. Very strong waterfall flow. Not too crowded and has nice views. Entrance fee is cheap and the place also has a restaurant for quick snacks and heavier meals. Also has a a cave-like area behind the falls where people hang. Cannot swim in river nearest the falls as it is very deep and several people have drowned in the past.

Its a nice and relaxing place. You can go admire tha nature and take awesome pictures!

A beautiful hike and the waterfall was going full blast. The Eco-Lodge restaurant halfway down the hike was nice. 😊

This wasnt all that impressive but its dry season and a bad dry season so I gather. Im sure its a lot better during rainy season.
