Eco Beach, Honnavar in Bhatkal

We have visited in July . Cyclone affect is there at that time. There is no access to beach at that time. But the waves are extremely high which is very exciting to see.Beach is very well maintained.

Very nice and clean beach. There is a big park with nominal entry fee, where one can spend good amount of time. Bathroom facilities also available. Young children can enjoy playing as the water and sand are soft and clean.

Eco Beach, Honnavar is Blue Flag certified beach, Clean and well maintained.Beach is by far the most pristine and virgin beach on the Konkan coast.Originally known as Kasarkod Beach, it is closely guarded by a forest of casuarinas. This white sand beach is the cleanest of them all and slightly deserted as well. This beach stretches up to 5 km and it is a fantastic experience to walk on this sandy turf. Local tour operators on Murudeshwar main temple road can arrange a taxi that can take you to the beach.This is a picnic spot with an eco-friendly twist. The beach originated from the large100-hectare park that was redeveloped jointly by the Tourism and Forest Departments and Kasarkod Village Forest Committee.The motive behind this beach is to promote eco-tourism around Karnataka and bring in tourists to the area. The park is apt for a family with kids, wherein children can have fun at the jungle gym, swing, plinth stones and even a trampoline that is installed in the park. One can find refreshments, eating joints and even clean washrooms.On select days, there are also boat rides that take you into the sea and step into the shoes of fishermen. Its the one of my favourite beach certified with blue flagged in Karnataka

We visited in last week of May. It was a hot and sultry day. We went there at around noon - better to visit early morning or evening to avoid heat. Nice parking there for 4 wheelers for forty rupees. There is another part with separate entry fees. The beach is excellent and very clean. Must appreciate local authority for maintaining the cleanliness. Bathing was not allowed when we were there - not sure if it was timing of the day. But still you will be able to click nice photos there. Please visit - it is safe for family and too much fun.😍

A beautiful beach easily accessible from Nh66, which is rated as eco friendly for bathing purposes etc. Hosts a nice view, not too deep and ridgy, safe for all age groups.

Neat and Cleanest beach in Honnavar. U can take bath by paying after playing in beach.

Must visit place atleast once in a lifetime. A Government owned Private beach with proper management and personal facilities. A family beach with a lot of beauty with minimum danger. Better than Goa beaches.

Eco beach is a Blue flag beach. This beach is very clean, less crowded & well maintained with beautification. This Beach has facilities like seating arrangements,canteen,washrooms , parking facilities etc... When I visited this beach , not allowing for taking bath but can go inside the beach from other way. Theres a park adjacent to the beach which is very pleasant & could be suitable for kids, gatherings. This beach is very peaceful & best for photoshoots, definitely youll enjoy this beautiful beach.From Gokarna ~55km distance , & it comes after the Honnavar. From Murudeswar ~24km distance& its before Honnavar. If youre coming on bus , follow maps & stop at this place , dont go Honnavar, because this place is on Highway& walkable distance from the Highway. Its ~3km from Honnavar.Must visit this beach & when you visit this beach , visit Sharawathi mangroves which is opposite road of this beach.

Couldnt take my eyes off from this blue water beach. It was so blue in colour and clean with crystal clear water. Sad that we couldnt touch the water since it is restricted to enter the beach as the waves have destroyed the seashore during monsoon. Full barricades have been kept so that you can only see the beach and enjoy the view. Nice view. The trees inside eco park are so cooling that you will get nice sleep if you visit in the afternoon. Many swings have been hanged to trees to enjoy. Very few people during week days. This is located right opposite to NH and Sharavati kandla mangrove boardwalk, walkable distance between two is 1km. There are different seacreature sculptures like turtle, prawns, crocodiles, fish etc. Nice place to enjoy with family and friends. You can spend a day by visiting this beach and boardwalk in honnavar.

Nice place for kids to visit. The beach was closed when we went in July, but the park was open. Really nice for kids to have some fun. Swings, trampoline, slides etc

Well maintained and one of best beaches in Honnavra and it is just beside the High way just 2min from National Highway 🛣️ and amazing view point it also contains kids playing area...kids and enjoy Playing there and with the best view 🙂..no entry fee.. good spacious parking space

Great clean beach. Its guarded very well and there are no hawkers selling anywhere near the place so the beach is maintained well. There are a couple of watch towers and we also spotted a lifeguard so that was good. There are toilets and changing rooms available both for men and women at an extra charge. Not sure of the cleanliness, but it looked very well maintained from the outside

This beach possess solid waste management plants, grey water treatments plants, seating arrangements, clean drinking water, washroom, changing room, bathing facility, disabled friendly and general toilets, parking facilities, solar power plants and solar lighting.It is very clean and well maintained beach.Restrooms are clean and neatly maintained. There is also children park near the beach. There is also fitness equipments near the beach. The beach is so neat and clean. You will definitely enjoy the vibe.

Clean and peaceful beach in Honnavar, very well Maintained, one can spend a whole day with family, friends and chikderns. There is entry fees which is beach pluss parking, near beach there is play garden for kids, and small tents for everyone. With good bathrooms per person 10rs. Also there is a very big garden just by the beach with a seprate entry fee this garden is huge in area with some sculptures and playing items for kids and with drinking water facility and bathrooms. Also you are allowed to take your food items.

One of the clean beach Ive ever seen. Life guards are always attentive towards crowd. They have lot of benches to relax and enjoy the stunning sunsets. They also have clean toilets and change rooms.

One of the best beaches in KarnatakaIt has a blue flag certification. As it is handled by tourism of Karnataka.❤️If you wanna have fun day at beach this is the place to be 😍. Cleanliness is well maintained. It has all facilities such as showers, dressing rooms, washrooms, drinking water they also have life guards on the site.They also have huts which can be rented for 50₹ per person for an hour which is worth it ❤️

The beach is very clean ,calm and less crowded.The beach is well maintained kudos to all the workers there.The path to the beach is full of trees n greenary. Very nice and well maintained beach with changing rooms.Right opposite to mangrove park. So you can plan to visit both.₹40 charged for parking and ₹10 for changing room.

Nice beach to visit with friends and family. It has change rooms and parking facilities. It does not have any restaurant or shops around. They would charge you for parking and changing rooms.

Beach is clean and excellent place for visit and playing. No entry fee for people. There is parking charge. There is facility to wash and change for 10rs charge - shower is outside only and room for changing doesnt have water facility. This facility closes around 6:30pm.Gets super crowded on weekends & so is the changing room.There is a park next to it which I have not visited. Children play area is also there.There is a utility shop & cool drinks shop.

Never knew there was such a well maintained and clean beach in Karnataka. Later came to know its one of the blue flag beaches in india.Was amazed seeing map billboards, restrooms, canopy tents and changing rooms. All are maintained well and will be lit up after sunset.Has good parking space around and is a perfect place for tourists and also the people of town to enjoy an evening.Water looks clear and has a safe mark after 20 meters.They charge for facilities except drinking water.Expecting more such on the Karnataka coast.

This is an amazing, serene beach that we stopped for some time on the way.. Its 1 of the cleanest beaches that I have seen! There is a play area for kids as well as an open air gym and everything is well maintained!

Beautiful place for visit It is also in highway side it is not 200 mtr far from highway. There is also a Park entry fee around 50 INR per person. Beach was beautiful if you visit around 6O clock you can view beautiful sunset🌅 here. You can play in beach. There is also 4 lifeguards are there. Nice and well maintained beach.Near to beach paid park also there for spending some time.Paid Wash rooms, dress change rooms are available here.Also visit kandla board walk near around 800mtrs distance of other side of highway, must visit place.

Never Seen a beach so organised and well managed. Washroom & Changing rooms were very clean. Definitely as must visit while your Murudeshwar Trip.

One of the cleanest beach I had ever seen. Only problem here is they charge you for everything literally like they Provide changing room facility and they charge you for that. You have to pay seperately for parking as well as entry fee for the park. Best option is to park your vehicle somewhere near highway or nearby and go to the beach. Beach is really such a beauty. Clean water and even the beach is well maintained.

Beautiful beach. When we visited on 19th Aug 2021 they did not allow into the water due to high tides. It was a weekday so there were no crowd. The parking fees are 40 per car. Very well maintained park as well for kids.
