Echo Valley Provincial Park - Park and Garden in Meadow Lake, Canada
Echo Valley Provincial Park is a provincial park in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, located west of the town of Fort QuAppelle in the QuAppelle Valley between Echo Lake and Pasqua Lake. Best view in fall times, we been many times here specially in summer and fall, kids enjoyed a lot at this place.
A nice campground. We visited in October. Water was turned off but there were pit toilets available.
Highly recommended this place, went for camping stay in Yurt and spent two night. My kids and family really enjoyed
Tent camping mid September was great. Discovered new features we will not share to avoid competition.
A lovely provincial park in the Quappelle Valley. Popular for boating, fishing and family gatherings.
Excellent place for camping, very clean and has everything campers need.
Great campground quiet, clean with playground. Showers are warm.Lake is full of walleyes. Coming back every year!
Other than the camp sites being on huge slopes and the availability of actual bathrooms and showers being far beyond our reach… it was…Okay….
Very nice atmosphere. Well kept and clean.
The staff was helpful and friendly. There is lots of parking with a long beach and trees for shade.
It was a beautifup campsite and the campgrounds had great access to everything. Such a beautiful lookout point and nice and quiet evenings. Unfortunately the kne downside was that my campsite had a bunch of leftover cigarrette butts from the last camper which was absolutely disgusting to clean up. If you are a smoker please dont be disgusting and clean up your cigarettes and not leave them for the next person.Wildlife was amazing too. I got lots of visits from squirrels :)
Very beautiful park and a great place for overnight camping or just a day trip.
We went for 5 days “Valley view”Camp site was exactly as described. The walk to look out point is a MUST at sunset !! 🥰Bathroom and showers were clean . Hot water ! 👌🏼 only down side I would say that the beach and mini golf etc is NOT walking distance. So For us ( we have a vintage slide in camperit was inconvenient as we had to disassemble and repack some stuff to make the drive down the valley (5 minutestotally worth it though . The beach (echo sideis amazing . We will definitely be returning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great place to camp lots of amenities in the area
Out of all the parks, this is Echo Valley
We stayed in Lakeview and the camp site was great. Modern toilets and showers were a short walk. The site was clean and had a wood burning stove and a picnic table. The tall trees sheltered us from the sun, keeping our motorhome cool. The beach was not close, you would need to drive there.
A fun place if you go with friends. Park is good if you are thinking for barbecue. Beach water was stinking.
Beautiful park. The camping is absolutely 💯 👌 its exactly what you want if youre a fan of the outdoors.
Worst campsite Ive ever been. We will never comeback and we will never recommend this place to anyone.
My family comes here for camping yearly. Its a place that holds sentimentality for me. I have no complaints about it.
This is the worst camp site ever the employees are disrespectful not organized biased discrimination of the color and type of people the rude attitude of all employees around the area I can’t recommend into my friends and other people who’ve wanted some fun into their lives
One of oir favorite campsites... great park for kids... close to 2 lakes for beaching and fishing
Very nice park. Quiet and easy to get too. The spaces a quite specious with lots of room to park and spread out.
Great campsite. Beach is nice for the kids. Ice cream and mini golf is a good way to spend some time.
I love the place its really big which makes it fun to play more games outside. It was was really cool to see the northern lights outin the late night sky. I just wish if they just upgrade the washroom thats all, Thank you
Camping during the week was great. Not a lot of people around..very quiet.
Had a great stay despite the rain. The campsite was open so my kids ran around to their hearts content and I could keep an eye on them easily. Movie in the park was great, staff is super friendly and helpful. Well be sure to take in more of the extensive programming thats being offered when we come again in a couple weeks!
Shout out to Rod who works there. We had a breaker blow and he came within minutes to fix it . We asked how far store was to walk because my daughter needed halls for throat. Difficult to unhook with a motorhome. He said quite far. After he left, he returned a while later with halls for her! Also he would not accept any money! Thanks Rod! Very much appreciated.
We stayed in the Morningview section of the campground. The site was large and level. Other campers were respectful and quiet. Bathroom was clean. The only thing that could have been better was there could have been a few more trees between the sites, but this is one of the nicest campgrounds weve stayed at recently.
Enjoyed our stay. Well kept and clean bathrooms. Good firewood.
Beautiful campground! Stayed in Aspen. Nice and quiet during a weekend. Lovely sites, some with views of the valley.
We had campeasy last weekend and the facilities were awesome. Comparable to any Parks Canada site, staff is friendly and helpful.
If one wants to disconnect, stay amidst nature and yet less than an hour away from Regina, Echo Valley is it. I camp there at least once in a summer if not more (twice already this year). Aspen is our go to site.
It’s a beautiful place to camp. Echo Valley has many hiking trails.
Mowing was not done before weekend. Also, most picnic tables require refinishing.
Large campsites with bar b que at each clean washrooms dog friendly and nice playground for kids
The skating track is very fun, there are fire pits and firewood available so bring things to start a fire and enjoy the day.
A great place to go winter camping. You can rent a heated yurt and go skating through the campground as they have flooded the roadway in one of the loops for skating. They have Christmas lights strung along the skating path for a nice evening skate. A nice dark location for watching the stars at night. Lots of snowshoeing and cross country ski trails across from the park. A peaceful quiet winter getaway!
Fantastic day doing Storybook walk, outdoor skating, cross-country skiing & yummy food from the eatery by Echo Ridge Golf Course. Wonderful day spent at Echo Provincial Park!!
Great site. Met wonderful fellow campers. Very relaxing . Unfortunately it rained heavy and we left a day early.
Its a nice little short drive from regina with a camperPark is nice and goodthis camping season is very busy so i expected its gonna be a little bit noisy dirty andlots of people but its still camping is camping better than hiding in the city toxic. cheers and happy camping
Quiet, clean - even had a little helper (see images). Would get 5 stars if we could have had real bonfires! Have to commend whomever is responsible for the layout for the south side of Aspen. It has shade, privacy and places for people to park their honking huge trucks and boats. We could sorta hear neighbours but low key and respectful with their kids, pets and music.
We stopped here as a break on our way back home. At first glance it was a surprisingly nice park with nice views of the valley. Lots of trees and the campground Hidden Coulee was quite spacious. However the reasons for 2 stars are these:1I had to pick up a bag full of garbage from our campsite, which included, but not limited to: balloon pieces, plastic forks, bottle caps, wrappers, tissue paper, a sock, and a small ball.2throughout the park, we have noticed lots of garbage laying around and a serious lack of secure garbage cans.3the water is overgrown with algae and plants, which cases the fish to die and wash up to the shore (there was at least one fish every 1-2 meters on the beach), causing a strong fishy odour throughout the beach area. We asked the staff, and the mentioned this happens every year in these lakes. Definitely would not recommend swimming here.4people dont respect quite hours or others here. At about 11-12 at night there was a group that was yelling at there campsite while we were trying to sleep. So I felt quite ripped off by paying $42 ($20 campground, $12 reservation fee, $10 daily parking passfor a dirty campground, dirty park and an unusable beach/swimming area.We will NOT be coming back here.
I love this park but the abuse of the grounds is unbelievable. Dog poop left in campground, people destroying posts meant for future tree sevice people to plant. Also if you read regulations about number if vehicles per site and tents per site its not followed up by park people at all. One night we saw a vehicle drive rhru campsites.
Great place in summer and fall, lots of color and natural beauty. Good for outings.
Beautiful valley park and lake, great for recreational activities.Seems like a great place to be during the summer months!
Nice park in summer and winter. Nice drive to Fort Quappelle and fish culture station is a hit.
Great for a day trip. Nice place for bbq or swimming! Great place to explore in summer.
A fantastic experience. Great place to bike and walk around and camp.I also recommend driving around the late while you are at it.
An wonderful summer destination for boating, swimming or just sit lazy! Only 60 km from Regina! Will definitely be there again!
