Eat This Cafe in Hollywood

This place has cancelled more of my online orders than I have actually have delivered. It sucks because the food is good, but it’s exhausting having time wasted when you could’ve ordered from somewhere else and are in a time crunch.

I really loved my breakfast! But I recommend that you reserve a table before you arrive at the place, otherwise you will have to wait between 30 minutes to 40 minutes for a table. The service was excellent!!

**the bill was “accurate” because you have since updated your menu pricing but that doesn’t change the fact that I was overcharged before you made the menu edits. We were also not told there would be an up charge with fruit in the pancakes. Also the 5 greasy rubbery pieces of bacon that came on the side look nothing the like giant pile of bacon in your photos. And the homefries are not swimming in grease in any of your photos?I am NOT your valued customer since you REFUSE to refund me.I will not be calling or stopping by for the free cup of coffee you offered. I will continue to email/leave reviews here every day until I am refunded.I am not a satisfied customer and the way you are dismissing my concern of being overcharged and being served poor quality food shows that you really don’t care.I certainly did not have the same experience shown in their fancy advert video.My bill had higher prices than what was advertised on the menu, they wouldn’t correct in store and replied with “thanks for letting us know. Another customer complained earlier”and after emailing to give my feedback on this unethical/illegal overcharging as well as what was presented to me in regards to the sub par food, I requested and was denied a refund.Home fries aren’t supposed to come out in a puddle of grease, bacon isn’t meant to be tough and rubbery (like it was microwavedand the pancakes were super dense. While I wanted to send back the food after trying, my friend I was dining with suffers from anxiety and asked me not to however I am still not satisfied with my experience here.I will not be returning and I suggest you find another spot.

Food was delicious taste and portions were great. We enjoyed the bottomless mimosas service was great you had different waiters/ waitresses checking up on you which means alot we got seated right away.

Taste: 3/5, pretty basic taste. Got a variety of different items (Crab Cake Benedict, corned beef hash, avocado toast, bottomless mimosa). Nothing too exceptional about the taste. The Crab Cake Benedicts that I got were small, overcooked, and salty. Corned beef hashes were okay, slightly better but still average. Gluten free friend enjoyed her avocado toast.Setting/service: 5/5, food takes a while to come out, but setting was nice. Perfect for breakfast or brunch!. Great service.

Service overall is great. The staff, very friendly and involved, the food is delicious, and they offer bottomless mimosas! A down side is that parking can be a hassle and the streets can be pretty cramped.

My mom ordered the breakfast plate which consisted of a serving of two scrambled eggs, two slices or bacon, sour dough bread. I ordered a half stack of buttermilk pancakes with scrambled eggs. The food was extraordinary! Definitely would recommend

Food was pretty good and I appreciated the Omelet Bar recommendation. However, my inclination to come back suddenly stopped when they wrongfully charged for a cup of coffee. Ive received a digital receipt in the email and have reached out to the team to get a refund, and followed up but never heard a reply. Please be sure to check your receipt for the correct amount is charged for your food/drink items.

It was ok. We ordered the chicken club and the spicy chicken sandwich both plate that was served had to much sauce from salad to sandwich

Loved the vegan BLTA with vegan, house-made aioli. Bottomless mimosas are $20🥂 I just ordered one mimosa for $8- generous pour. Good vegan options on the menu, including a house-made vegan burger. I’ll try that next time!Wonderful, friendly service!

This is a super popular and trendy breakfast and lunch spot. Parking is not exactly easy and if you want to parking within their lot, it is $15.First off, the food is outstanding! I definitely loved their avocado toast, and I added some bacon to make it even better! We also ordered the cornbeef hash. It was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! Their bottomless mimosas option is nice, but they clearly have had issues with patrons being very irresponsible with their drinking and have rules on every table in regards to the mimosas.This restaurant is very busy and I understand why, but we waited almost 20 mins to give our order after we were seated. Some of the waiters were a little more attentive to their younger table guests than to us and that was a little frustrating. The only other thing was the music was super loud, which made everyone else talk louder and it didnt allow for much casual conversation.Overall, the food is awesome and the restaurant is fun and trendy, but next time I would like to sit outside so that I can have conversation and enjoy my food.

I LOVE Eat This! It has become my go to spot for all things Bruch. $20 for bottomless mimosas 😳 unheard of! What a good deal

I understand food takes a while to make when you have lots of customers, still it about an hour. When our food came out, my boyfriend’s omelette was cold. My burrito had a weird after taste, kinda like the bacon or chicken was artificial or something. Not impressed. Will not be coming back.

Made a reservation but was not prompted to sit until 20 minutes after the reservation. The whole process of getting a table was a circus and simply not worth the wait. Dont waste your time here.

Great breakfast but they give you a time limit of 90min for bottomless mimosas and take foreverrr to come around. Its like theyre trying to run out the clock. Could see the bottom multiple times

I definitely liked the food but the service was mediocre. Our waiter checked on us once, while we were leaving and only then. Apparently the kitchen was too busy to add extra to our order and I think after asking for extra hollandaise sauce he wasnt having it. Oh well 🤷🏾‍♂️

I am always on the hunt for the perfect avocado toast breakfast and @eatthiscafe did not disappoint!!! They serve their avocado toast & egg on a crispy sourdough with a perfect herb aioli + black pepper and you can have your eggs cooked however you want. Ps. They even offer vegan aioli*We got there after 1 and they told us that the barrista was gone for the day but the server was super awesome and they brewed us a fresh pot of liquid gold... I mean coffee . The parking was a little limited around the block and coming out of state, I learned the hard way that you need to carry quarters but they dont have the actual parking apps in this area. The menu is a little tricky because I thought they had the entire menu until 4 but its actually a limited menu until 4. They share a bathroom area with a theater so If you dine in, you have to ask the staff for a code. I dont really recommend dining outside because my experience was that anyone can just come up and ask for money or food, I didnt really feel too safe about that which is why I opted to eat indoors.

Crowded and popular probably because of a bottomless mimosa deal. Burrito was dry and overcooked. Service is friendly. They play the music loud and the acoustics are unfriendly.

My 2nd time at this restaurant for brunch and it lived up to the hype in my head from the first time I visited! Food was delicious, there are options for vegan, vegetarian and meat-eaters alike. Service was outstanding. I set a reservation the night before for 1:45pm. When I arrived they were crowded so I was worried the reservation would run late even though I checked in early. But, at 1:45pm I got a notification the table was ready and the host came straight away to seat us. Picture of food below.

I will definitely return. There was a bit of a wait but well worth it. I suggest calling ahead and getting on the wait list. Food was absolutely delicious. Service amazing. My friend ordered bottomless mimosas and the server was right on the money keeping her drinking before her 90 minutes were up. Parking is a challenge so be prepared to park in the community. We had the crab cakes and French toast to share delicious. Also do try the mango tea it was refreshing. I cant wait to return.

Split L.A. burrito and the flaming chicken burrito. Was Skeptical of the chicken burrito for lack of veggies, but omg. That thing was amazing with the fried egg, made for perfect texture combo. The L.A. burrito was also great option with plenty of flavor. Very happy with both and would eat here again.

I usually don’t write reviews even if I had a great experience, but I definitely felt the need to do so. I checked in through Yelp with an expected wait time because I know it’s Sunday and everyone goes to brunch on Sundays. Anyways, I checked in and got seated swiftly. I ordered the Omelet Bar, which was deliciousss! The staff has 5 star customer service! I witnessed people getting upset because of the wait time but what to do you expect? This place is popping, especially with the bottomless mimosas. I will definitely be back with my friends next time! Thank you so kindly.

I went here for brunch.There is no parking lot (that we sawso make sure that you give yourself some grace in finding street parking.You have to join the waitlist on Yelp—do this BEFORE you head there. There are no reservations. The waitlist was about an hour and a half long but by the time we arrived we waited only 10minutes.We sat outside on the sidewalk because inside of the restaurant was full. The round tables are very small and we ordered a lot of food so it was difficult balancing everything on the table.It should be noted that the avocado toast is not your typical mashed avocado. It is slices of avocado placed on top of toast. They do offer this in a gluten free option.They have two different types of chicken sausage but the spicy sausage seemed to me like it was a chicken and pork mixture. I gave it to my boyfriend because I do not eat pork.Everything else was great. For the bottomless mimosas, they come around and top you off with a premise mimosa mixture. That is usually off putting for me because I would prefer to control my OJ to Champagne ratio. However, it didnt deter me since this was my first time here and I wanted to make sure that I experienced as much as I could.

Went there for brunch and bottomless mimosas. Ordered 3 FIRE 🤤 pancakes, the corned beef hash, and a scrambled egg.The service? 🔥🔥 Because the bottomless didnt keep us waiting all day. For a table of 6, all the food came out about 15 minutes after ordering. Outside seating was fantastic, spacious, and chill.The pancakes had the consistency of #Thick. Best way to put it, lol. Rich, and looked like the pictures you see in pancake mix boxes.Corned beef hash was like large-diced pastrami with diced potatoes, sautéed peppers/onions and goodness. Gone head and spend your money here.No disappointments!

Oh em G this place is superb. Everything we had was DELICIOUS! Avocado toast, chilaquillas, crab cake eggs Benedict and truffle cheese panini, all individually to-die-for! We had a twenty minute wait, which was not long for a place this good! Service was great, and the bottomless mimosas topped off a beautiful brunch!

Don’t let the crowds fool you! Come here for terrible service and subpar food…Upon seating at the table we were greeted with a sticky table that has clearly not been wiped down for a hot minute… disgusting!Being a busy time of the morning, we didn’t have any issues with our food taking a while to come out, but when it reached the 30min mark of waiting we started getting a little irked. Shortly after, the waiter came out and straight up told us that he took our food to another table, meaning we would have to wait ANOTHER 30min. He didn’t even bother giving an apology for HIS mistake. Then at the till he has the AUDACITY to glare at us when we gave the tip 🤨And don’t even start with the food… burnt dry pancakes and below average burrito…Email, insta, any way we try to make a complaint they just don’t care to respond. That clearly don’t value customers…

Eat this cafe was great the food and the drinks were good. There is a time limit on the unlimited mimosas which is about 90 minutes which is just fine if you know youre going to be there longer than that maybe for a total of 2 hours I would suggest ordering the unlimited mimosas after you are seated and have ordered food first. If you looking to take really. cool urban brunch pics sitting in the sun is better although you will get warm. So make sure you have a visor or a hat and sunglasses and mane some sunscreen 😊. Inside is typical temperature and they also have a side that is outside without the sun for anyone that may not want that much sun on them. The staff is friendly and gets your order right the first time no matter how complex of an omelet you think you can make. The ambiance was very casual and laid back. This is not a rooftop club brunch so speaking to other tables is not the norm at this location. There are no downsides to the brunch place I would say it is better for a couple or a first date. It is ideal for larger parties that like the laid-back environment. If you are in between the 21-35 crowd that may be looking for a more fast-paced environment this is not the place you create the ambiance at this location music is very quiet a subtle, not loud at all, and you can hear the person you are eating with and hear other guests more like white noise 😊 perfect for a Saturday or Sunday brunch before starting the day. I would make a reservation for 10 Am which is the best time to come.

November 2021 - Party of 4, 40 minutes wait turned into 50 something minutes (granted this was based off of Yelps waitlist estimate, which in my experience can be inaccurate sometimes).Food/ Pricing - Lets get into the fooddd.-- Grand Mariner French Toast ($14.90- It was yummy, as french toast typically is but I feel like it was very overpriced.-- Bagel Platter ($14.90- My friend enjoyed this dish very much.-- Chilaquiles ($14.50- I enjoyed this dish very much. The chilaquiles was not as crunchy as I would have liked but it was still tasty!-- Drinks - White Sangria ($9), Paloma (note this is canned... and $9), Mimosa ($8glass. They have bottomless Mimosa for $20 per person but we werent trynna get hammered.Service/ Ambiance - Service was okay and I know they were busy but it could definitely be improved. They were very apologetic about this but our table brought it to the owners attention that we had been sitting for 40 minutes (yes we kept trackand our food still was not ready. After following up with the kitchen, they let us know that our ticket was lost... which I get it, it happens. But no staff nor our server followed up with us, no one noticed a table sitting there for more than 20 minutes with no food. If we didnt bring it up, I dont know how much longer it would have been. The owner was apologetic and offered to comp our second round of drinks (we didnt order another round but who can say no to free drinks). It was a very nice gesture but I hope the place is more attentive in the future.Im glad we gave it a try!

I don’t normally eat breakfast, but I do love brunch. Eat This Cafe is easily missed, it’s in a small location right by the Honda Dealership and some small theaters. They do have some patio seating at the moment, and seating inside as well.As soon as we were seated at our tables, I scanned the menu and looked for something that tickled my fancy!There was so many awesome choices of entrees on the menu, that I couldn’t even decide what to pick. They had specific breakfast items that looked super yummy, like the burrito, and they also had sandwiches that looked equally delicious.I picked the Truffle Cheese panini because I kept hearing good things about it. Plus who doesn’t like truffle cheese! Eat this cafe also imports their truffle cheese so I knew I had to try! And boy was it good! Such a deliciously cheesy sandwich, with the perfect amount of breakfast foods stuffed inside it. Plus egg in sandwiches always have my heart! I really enjoyed my sando, I can’t wait to come back for more!Awesome place for brunch, would definitely recommend to those in the area looking for something delicious to eat!

Absolutely adore this place! Has pretty good food don’t know what others are talking about. Wait time can be a hit or miss but that’s most of LA. Definitely a great place to have breakfast!

Fair warning dont come here starving, I was sat 40 mins past my reservation time. (Minus half a star)The waiter never checked on us until our 90 mins were up. I just wanted some extra napkins man (minus half a star)Food: the crab cake Benny was yummy and the grass fed burger was also very goodDrinks: opted for the red sangria bottle. Nice and fruity.Ambience: opt to sit inside if you want to avoid the crazies. Had a show with my brunch when a homeless man proceeded to throw his beer at the owner.

Not too much to offer in the way of breakfast items during the week, but everything served was good. Double shot espresso was the best! Specialty coffee called Frenchie was interesting and tasty.

Cute little cafe with good outdoor seating. Menu is not too elaborate which is a good thing. Good options for vegetarians, especially loved the LA burrito and fluffy buttermilk pancakes. Reserve a spot before hand.

The food was fast and fresh and delicious. I also felt very safe with precautions taken in regards to corona. And finally one cannot go wrong with the bottomless mimosas!

I had a really good lunch here . The staff was friendly and welcoming. The environment is fairly hip and trendy. Great for dates or Brunch with the family. Social distancing rules are observed. Theres seating inside and outside .

I had to enjoy the atmosphere of what seems to be a world famous café. I was immediately greeted and was told to scan in on the QR scanner for today’s brunch menu…I had to have the grass fed burger with the scrambled egg whatever Magic catch-up they make has a bit of a spice to it and taste absolutely wonderful with the potatoes…The burger I had medium and it didn’t take any more than 10 minutes for everything to get there… What are served in a bottle you can request one lemon slices which I did…The service was incredible I would recommend people going ham despite the difficulty of that particular environment friendliness, good service, and wonderful food I have all made this place a signature stop for any locals or tourist looking for an experience that has both memorable and flavorful.

It’s an average place overall. They have outdoor seating but it’s in the middle of the street. They play very loud music to cover the street noise but it’s not helpful. We could barely hear each other. Food and drinks are average, nothing special.

Delicious, Instagram worthy food and great service. I dined here for the 1st time during the pandemic. They have bottomless mimosas😁. I waited 45 mins for a table but they text you when its ready so you can leave to do other things. Will return!

What an incredible place! Happy to see they are operating and serving all this delicious food! 😋 tables are outside in a shadow which gives it a nice relaxing vibe. Huge variety of healthy drinks 🍹 and a big menu. The food was very good, the bread 🥖 we got with the salad was crispy and fresh 😻 really loved the environment and the variety of options! Many cafes got shut down or limited their kitchen, but this one has surprisingly large menu and the yummy food 🥘 Great place to meet with a friend for lunch

So far have only tried a couple of different sandwiches and salads, but they have all been exceptionally good. I particularly enjoyed the Turkey Club - delicious and very filling.Even the home made potato chips served with the sandwiches are delicious.

This was a great random surprise stop between the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and the Comedy Central studio! We stopped in right when Happy Hour started ($4 wine or beer!They were already out of the sliders, which was a bummer. But the rest of thr food was DELICIOUS! I got the caprese panini. It was so good that I was full half way through and still finished the rest. lol The home made potato chips were tasty too! Whatever the seasoning combo on them is, it was on point. The deserts looked amazing but we had no room left in our stomachs. Ill come back just for that

Hasnt disappointed the couple times Ive been here. We had the B.L.A.T. wrap (bacon, romaine lettuce, avocado, tomato, and the vegan B.L.A.T. sandwich. The vegans version of "bacon" is made out of tofu.

In town for the first time and wanted a great breakfast. It nailed it. Service is exceptional as well. If Im in the area again, definitely will stop by for brunch.

Absolutely amazing little place! Started with the mini cinnamon rolls, but dont let the name fool you, there was nothing mini about these. I remarked on their size when the waitress brought them out and she said, "yeah, we have a portion control problem". This really set the tone for the rest of the mealWe had the corned beef hash and it was one of the best hashes Ive had in LA. Huge, juicy chunks of corned beef mixed with the potatoes made this dish a winner. The real star of the show was the crab cakes Benedict. You absolutely must try this if you go.
