The service was excellent. The fish was cut too thin. The wings and fried shrimp were very good.

I got to try gator for the first time!! That and the rest of our food was all great!! Thank you for being there and all the good you are doing!!

Worst place I’ve ever been to, I ordered a half pound of gizzards and waited 90 minutes while people ordering at the counter were getting there meals I WILL NEVWR ORDER FOOD FROM HERE AGAIN

My deep fried Oreo ($3 for one Oreowas burnt, the wings were salty, the "dinner roll" was a stale piece of bread, and my potato salad was missing. Really disappointed as my friends raved about the food here, and I waited an hour to not be able to eat much of anything.

They lost our order, so we had to wait an additional 20 to 25 min after we waited 40 min from the original call. And the prices werent updatedOn their web page and they were really high. So inspite of the guality of the food, we wont be going back anytime sood.

They have a good selection of fresh fish. You pick what you want they fry it up. Wife and I both had the walleye dinner. The walleye was very good, the sides that came with it were so so. Would definitely go back as the fish was well worth it.

i always order from her and my food is always good but this time my food came cold and my deep fried oreos came burnt to the point where i couldn’t even bite them they never come this way and are not supposed to look like that, how do you serve someone BURNT FOOD??

Just ordered the sampler lmao what a joke didnt get the coleslaw we ordered it all looks old and cold. Will never go there again. What a joke.

Was excited about the food and ordered via food delivery app. Things went well the first couple of orders but these last two orders were disappointing. Both times, we ordered rolls with meals and received sliced bread (like Walmart brand wheat bread, not even Sara Lee). Still charged nearly $2 for the rolls. Overpaid for small serving of shrimp ($6 for 5 shrimp). Luckily, the delivery app issued us a refund for the “rolls.”

Fish was good. I had fried cod the previous week which was better than the grilled salmon which I got today, as it was a bit overcooked. Id still recommend going here 🙂Also be aware that prices have increased and the current menu as of the day of this post does not reflect the price increase. This is still my go to fish house in this area 💙

A former employee was rude to my sister who needed an allergy list for her son. The owner assured her that this person would never again do that in his establishment. From that alone, I have decided to change my review of 1 star to 5. Thank you for that, Mr. Owner.

The Best Fish and Chicken in East Lansing! Always fresh and they are super generous with the Lemon pepper!

I absolutely love this place! I ordered through GrubHub and called to make sure my order had the extra condiments and the worker made sure it made it to the bag! They really care about their customers! Always a 10/10 experience eating here!😁

Overrated!!! Only because Guy Fieri have his stamp of approval this place gets recognition. Selection of menu items slim and extremely overpriced for a hood restaurant. Yeah I get it you were visited by a great chef but that doesnt mean you can charge what he would especially if the environment is lacking appeal.

Very clean facility. Dining room was spotless. Employees showed great pride in their work and constantly checked as to how we were doing. Food was spectacular!!!

A bit of a disappointment. Not my 1st visit & compared to others, food quality not up to previous. Very salty fried wings, french fries, & fish filets. Cole slaw was spot on though! Also didnt mention the surcharge for not using cash. Not a problem to me unless theyre trying to conceal it. Which is how it came across. Disclose it up front, please! Unfortunate experience overall.

I always make sure I order here long before I get hungry because they have long wait times and pretty poor customer service, but honestly, I dont really care.Their food is so so so good. The catfish nuggets are so good, the crab cakes are amazing, the wings are amazing. They always have a ton of awesome desserts too.

Quality went wayyy down on this location I ordered 9 wing dinner and 1/2 pound fried fishComes with no dinner roll second time in a row drove all the way food was just ok nothing special hardly any fries I paid over $22 below average service also employees dont care I was there ready to order I was just ignored 👎 owner needs to step up reevaluate customer service because theyre going downhill fast with rude service.

Saw this spot on Dinners Drive-In and Dives, so tried the lunch special of Fry Smelt Fish and fries, the fish was good but the fries were hard.

Good food and not so badly priced. I only give rd out of 5 stars because they charfe you for extra seasoning but when you get the food they never put extra seasoning. So they charge customers and never dven give it. This happened more then once.

If you are visiting Lansing, this is where you are going to find the best food, hands down. Theyre only other competitor may be Rallys. Just ask for the "Crack Chicken." You will not be disappointed. Please ignore Roys reviews, hes kind of a d**k, constantly hating on people for doing their jobs.

We had a fun and delicious lunch here today. Quick and friendly service. We tried frog legs, gator, roughy, green beans, potato salad, fried cheese cake, and fried Oreos. Everything tasted fresh, never greasy, and very well seasoned.

Ill give this place a 3 to be fair. So let me be clear the food is 5 stars all day but the service oh the service holds it back. Placed an order at 5:17 today and was told it would be ready at 5:47 arrived at 5:55 was told it wasnt ready. Theyd had another customer my credit card receipt so they wanted me to sign her receipt. Didnt get the food till 6:17 an hour after I ordered it and 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and it wasnt a big order just crawfish tails and a small fry. Also its not a great system where is you paid online already when the cooks call out your order is ready you have to then get back in line with all the people that just arrived to get your food

Food is good. Seems too busy to maintain polite service though. When I called to ask for sauce to go with my meal I was rudely placed on hold. When I called back and mentioned that the polite way to place someone on hold is to say, "Thank you for calling, CAN YOU PLEASE HOLD?" I always say yes and wait very patiently. Ive had jobs where the phone rings off the hook, so I understand the intensity. The woman I spoke to seemed to shrug it off, stating that theyre too busy to answer phones politely. She assured me that I would get sauce and I thanked her. Guess what? You guessed it. No sauce. I tend to believe this was retaliation for my comment, and if theyre that juvenile of employees, thats fine. My class are good without sauce too. Im here for work often and usually order Uber Eats, but I wont order from them again. Fortunately, since they are too busy to be polite, Im sure they wont miss my business. 🤷‍♂️

I was there for a pickup service and they just ignore you like you dont matter and rather pay more attention to people standing in line even though the app tells you the other is ready.The food is just sitting there waiting till the second person desides to help you after I tell them the app said that the order is ready to be picked up.Then and only then did I get the orders picked up.

Hopefully the owner will get back to me, second time in a row I told them Im allergic to tomatoes and they put it on my sandwich. Smh I dont even live in town anymore it went out of my way to go get food this time. Livid

Do not tip the people working!! I have delivered so much food to the workers at this store and they never tip and usually cheer in front of my face when a customer tips themI’m not saying don’t eat here but the people working here are the lowest of the lowMy favorite was when I got stiffed on an $80 order there and the girl at the counter ignored me while I was standing at the counter with a lot of food

Rather its Chicken Gizzards or fish, you will get an entire "foot" put into every meal! The place knows exactly what theyre doing! There are not too many restaurants I trust with my fish. Eastside is 1 of three!. Whew chile,,,,,go eat now! 😋 I eat everything to fast forgetting pictures....TBC

Flavor is out of this world. One of my favorite spots to grab food for a big group! Crack seasoning is incredible and I love the variety of meat offered. The only thing that sucks is sometimes it takes forever, but as its a popular place that is to be expected.

Wings are great, scallops shouldnt have been sold they were rancid. The shrimp was acceptable and all of it took 35 minutes, not too long.No one answered the phone but our order was taken carside in the parking lot. Once covid19 is under control and normal business resumes it should be a great place.

We just ordered 3 chicken breast sandwiches with fries, 1/2 lb fried clam with fries, and 5 chicken wings with fries. Unfortunately I was not impressed the chicken breast sandwiches were very dry and salty, the clams are extremely salty, fries were salty. Don’t recommend anyone with blood pressure issues to eat here. The chicken wings were good and the customer service was also good.

Got the 3 piece chicken tenders dinner and there was enough food for two meals. The tenders were huge and juicy with a nice, crisp breading and great seasoning and came with a huge portion of fries and a dinner roll. I also got a side of coke slaw and it was nice and crunch with just the right amount of dressing.

The staff working there were polite and helpful.. We got the catfish dinner, it was good but not alot of fish though. Also their hours are different from what it states online. All aside they have delicious fries 🍟.sooo good.

Great food, good service, decent prices and dedicates workers. I called a few minutes after closing and they still made it happen for me. Don’t get much better than this place and that kinda service. They got my vote

I was not expecting dry crusty battered fish. So if you like that then this is the place for you. The customer service was excellent. The hush puppies were good. The fish was absolutely not what I wanted and didnt finish it.

This is what they call large wings. 13 dollars for 8 baby wings. 13 more dollars for 2 pieces of extra salty catfish fillets and soggy fries. Guy fieri taste buds cant be trusted. 1/10, I dont recommend.

Buyer beware!!! We ordered 100 wings, (paid over $100and we only received 65. I called to let them know and they said oh well. They refused to give me credit to come back another day to get the remaining wings. Do not buy from here. Terrible customer service!! They are Crooks!!! They take your money and dont give you your entire order! Also, the wings were not good, they had absolutely no seasoning on them.

They have decent food! It used to be worth the money until they went up! Just spent $65 on two chicken tender meals, mixed chicken and a catfish fillet sandwich and everything was FRESH ! the staff was nice! My only reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is they REALLY need to choose different packaging, my fries are always soggy and they also need to season the food before they fry it if they are not going to use much seasoning. Maybe use Louisiana fish fry or something on the fish, idk just a suggestion. There’s not much competition around here so it’s hard to really compete when everyone cooks there chicken the same.

Guy Fieri wasnt kidding when he came here!! The food was great, and the young ladies working the counter were so extremely nice and helpful!! Well definitely be back, I promise you wont be disappointed ❤❤❤❤❤

Finally tried Eastside Fish Fry myself, after delivering a ton of orders from there, and it all smelling so yummy! And It was SO good!!!I got the 2 piece catfish dinner, great portion for the price, got it for lunch and ended up having the other half for dinner. The boom boom sauce is 🔥🔥🔥 just the right amount of spice, like a sweet chili aioli with a little extra boom to it. And the staff are always super friendly, and funny.Ill definitely be back soon, to try more... for sure getting the fried pickles next time!

Amazing food. I loved the fish so crispy yet soft and tender and flavorful. We will be back. The cheese cake was the bomb

I gave 5 stars abt a year ago but now i am giving them 2 simply because they changed their prices a lot and their prices are different across different apps. Not gonna come again. I am willing to drive to MLK for fresh fish fry.

Best Chicken in the city.Update today(5/4/193+ yrs later still the best damn chickin in the city been coming here since opening day. Love the mac, pig skins everything. Keep up the great job ans ill keep ordering a few times a week

Love this place! Hard to find decent fish in Lansing. They do a top notch job on chicken as well. Big fan of the salmon dinner. My order has always been complete and as ordered! They are an excellent value.

Very good food! We had the Catfish, Cod, Mac & Cheese Bites, Cheese Sticks, and Fries. Made to order and very good! Not a fancy place but definitely worth a go! It was on Guys Diners Drive-ins & Dives!
