Earls Kitchen + Bar in Anmore

I have had enough with this Earls location. I don’t know what it is, but it seems to me that every time I try to enjoy a meal here, I end up having a horrible experience.I will explain my most recent experience. My wife and I decided to celebrate the gender reveal of our son at this restaurant about 2.5 years ago, it was just the two of us and we had a good time. My wife is pregnant again, and we decided to get Earls take-out to celebrate finding out the gender of our new baby in the comforts of our own home. We decided against dining in, because the last time we went with our son, our sever took over 45 minutes to get our food order in and by the time our food was ready, our son was having a complete meltdown because we had been there for over an hour without food and empty drinks (negative experience #1).I decided to call in at 4:00pm and make an order for 5:25pm. I called this early, because the last time I ordered take-out here, I called 30 minutes before and they said it would be ready in 45 minutes but it ended up being an hour and 15 minutes later (negative experience #2).Anyways, I called in extra early and they said it would all be ready for me at the time I wanted. I got there at 5:20pm, checked in with the hostess and she went to retrieve my meal. She came back a few minutes later and explained that she couldn’t find my meal and that I would have to wait a couple of minutes. I already knew that they had forgotten to make my order. The wait begins, keep in mind I have a 2 year old and pregnant wife waiting at home expecting to eat at 5:30pm.During my wait, a manager comes over and says she has discounted my order and turns around and leaves as I was talking to her. I assumed she took care of the whole bill, this made me less irritated. When my order arrived 28 minutes later, I see she has discounted $10. Needless to say, I left extremely irritated and I will not be returning.

My wife and I came here on our 4 year anniversary and had Amy as a server. She was funny, honest, and just was great to talk to. Plus, she gave the best recommendations. Hope to see her again next time!

I came with a big group and they made us feel so welcome. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. The west coast prawn pizza was surprisingly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Italy so that just nuts.

Had the most pleasant experience at your bar tonight. Lucas was serving my friend and I and he was nothing short of wonderful. Knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating, friendly, and funny to boot. Will be back 100%

Sara was our server and she consistently checked up on us. We felt like anytime we wanted something she was there for us.Very impressed!Dani was also helping us at our table and she was so fun to chat with. Very professional environment, cant wait to come back!

Tonight I was sitting close to the bar Lauren C was my server and she was the best!!! She was so attentive and kind gave me a great suggestion for my steak!! Lucas was on bar, one of the best bartenders ever!!! He made a great Marilyn Monroe :Dani was managing she stopped by and made sure our experience was phenomenal!! Overall one of my best dining experiences I definitely recommend earls poco !!!!!!

came in for lunch and was served by megan she was very attentive and kind. truly enhanced our experience by helping us with the menu. the food was great. margaritas were awesome! the leader on shift was also lovely. definitely would recommend coming! 10/10

I recently had a party of 20 to help me celebrate my birthday. The wine and the food were excellent and the servers were very professional and friendly. All my guests were pleased as can be with the night and so was I. Planning it was very easy as Dani always kept in touch and informed me of all the arrangements and menus.See you again soon!

We came in with a group of friends on Halloween weekend, had a wonderful night. Service was amazing thanks to dani and Amy the managers, and the food and drinks were phenomenal as always. Thank you for a great time earls poco. We will be back!! Always a great atmosphere.

I love this location! All servers and bartenders so kind and nice! I got sangria recommendations from bartender and it was really perfect sangria! I really love it 🥰 Also got chocolates pudding for dessert, this was really tasty! Need to order this again next!

Normally we love Earl’s. However lastNight we ordered food to be delivered and our Chicken fettuccine was very disappointing. Bland unseasoned chicken and literally no Alfredo sauce - just dry, clumped noodles. Ordering take out from Earls is expensive and I’m not sure we will do it again. We’ve had this meal at dine in service and it was very good in the past. It was an unsatisfactory meal that we didn’t eat much of.

I came into earls tonight and was served by the lovely Sara and her assistant Simone, our experience was incredible. We had drinks made by Lucas that were all better than we could have imagined. The cherry on top of our evening was the manager Dani who was extremely accommodating and made our earls experience perfect- excited to return soon!!

I visited earls tonight for dinner and drinks and was met with kind and welcoming staff as well as delicious food and beverages. Sara and Simone were serving me tonight, their energy was amazing. We had various drink and food recommendations and were very impressed with everything. The drinks made by Lucas were delicious. Our night ended with an interaction with the lovely manger Dani, she made sure our night was everything it could be.

Everything about the experience was just fine, but nowhere near great, especially for the higher-than-average prices for a chain like this.

Today we had Anjolie as our server. We had the best experience. She was so personable and friendly. She had great suggestions for our drink choices and meal. We dont get a chance to get out often, but the next time we can we will be back because of experience we received today.

My friend and I go to this Earls all the time, but when we went last night we were very disappointed in the service and food. We were waiting a long time after being seated that the manager had to come and take our order because the waitress hadn’t even come to introduce herself yet. The food came quickly but it was warm/cold and tasted like it was sitting under the heat light for way too long. We ordered the spinach dip and the bread was burnt. After we were served our food, no one came to check to see how it was or if we needed anything for them 20min. We tried flagging servers down but it looked like there was only one for our entire side of the restaurant. We tried to get the managers attention but he was just leaning on the counter chatting with other staff.When the server finally came over to ask us if we needed anything, we waited so long we just decided to eat the food because it was cold at this point and we were hungry.Definitely the worst food and service we ever experienced at this location and it was super disappointing.Also we were sad to see they changed there happy hour times to 10pm instead of 9pm.

Came in a few days ago for dinner with my husband to this Earls location and had the best time. We decided to switch it up and sit at the bar instead of a table since we’ve never tried it. Service was awesome! Abyd and Lucas were so entertaining and nice! My husband got the Cajun chicken with spring rice and the rice came out a bit dry. Within about 2 minutes we received a new replacement bowl of rice! Afterward, the manager KJ followed up with us again and made sure everything was okay. Overall just a great experience! This earls staff is awesome!

Decent customer service, but in general the food was over-seasoned (they love their pepper), but lacked a depth of flavour.The biggest gripe is they do not know how to cook a steak. I asked for blue (which I confirmed before ordering was possible, and would be blue-rare at wort)), and it came out medium-rare or more (the photo is of a more rare piece, other spots cooked much more). As noted by the staff after ordering, they indicated they overcook their steaks more than compared with other places. They did try to address it, but lesson learned.

Foods alright at this location. Though 5 stars goes straight to the staff, everyone was very welcoming and kind. Had an issue with our order and they fixed it with no questions. Shoutout to our server Andrea! She was extremely personable and courteous! :)

the server remembered every single detail and made it a very personal and enjoyable experience to attend this restaurant. Will attend again in the near future due to the hospitality and kindness. Her name was Jocelyn, would most definitely recommend.

Visited Vancouver and had the good fortune to visit this Earl’s. The service was incredible, it seemed any time I found myself wanting something there was a staff member asking if they could get it for me. Would 100% recommend to anyone in the vicinity and those like me who are not. Really made me feel like I’d never left home :)

Our server was a 12/10 . Can’t remember her name but it was the best service I have ever received. Earls is the spot to go in this area. The food is quick and fresh. Everyone is super professional there and is very attentive. They make sure their guests are very well taken care of. I’m super impressed by my experience here today. Will definitely come back again.

Went in for dinner with my son this evening.We’d had a less than great Door Dash experience that went all wrong a few weeks prior. We frequent here quite often and figured it must of been an off night in the kitchen on the delivery that evening.This evening my son had his usual Caesar Salad and a Bacon Cheese Burger which are always consistently bang on. I was going to order the Filet Mignon and our lovely server Sara suggested the Truffle Steak Tortellini. So I took her suggestion and tried something different. Well she was right, it was absolutely delicious. Creamy truffle sauce with just the right amount of spinach and broccoli to balance out the rich flavours. Every taste bud was satisfied. So happy I took her suggestion. I would order it again. :)To my surprise, Dani the manager had our credit all taken care of from the prior Dash delivery mishap. I am so happy to see that Earls is still putting their loyal customers first. Have to say these ladies saved the day. So happy we went back. Been going to Earls since my teens!

Our service Sarah and her assistant Kara made our experience at Earls a great one. They were both very knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a couple of questions about the menu and they were answered and helped us decide. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and everything Looked and tasted great. Water was always topped up! Based on this experience I would recommend Earls Port Coquitlam to all of my friends and family.

Honestly the best service out of all the earls I’ve been to. Our server was Sarah and she was genuinely amazing! She actually took time to check in on us and made sure everything was great! Loved her!

Sarah was a fantastic server today. She was so gracious, funny, and professional. Her knowledge of the menu really made our experience worth while. This Earls always delivers and it’s because of servers like Sarah.

Another wonderful experience at Earls Poco! Came in for some appetizers and we ended up staying for a full dinner and a night of drinks. The food was amazing and the drinks always arrived quickly. Wonderful service from our waitress. She was patient and knowledgeable when answering questions about the menu and providing recommendations. Great customer service as always! I will be back soon!!

Ive eaten at Earls serial times, and my experience at the location was not good. The taste was not consistent for a franchise. We had to force ourselves to eat, and even then, we ended up taking it home correct the failed attempt they made of making a meal so as to not waste our money. I do hope they will improve.

What an awesome Friday night at earls Poco! Lexi was our server and she was great! Attentive, bubbly and genuinely just exceptional at her job. Lucas came around as well and made our night. What an awesome duo! We will DEFINITELY be back to see them again. Thanks Lucas and Lexi for such a killer night.

The food was good and the staffs were nice and friendly.However, the only thing is that we (me and my friendwaited for 10 minutes to be seated and there were a lot of empty tables (for 4 or moreduring the whole time that we were eating, and we be seated at a table that was right next to a big post, and because my friend is a bit chubby so Im the person who have to squeeze into the seat.If they can get their customer a better seat and maybe consider more about customer experience rather than keeping empty big tables for big groups, that will be great.

Emma Dyer killed it tonight! She was very friendly and gave great service the whole night! Recommend drinks and tasty food! I really enjoyed my time at earls and will be coming back soon and definitely requesting her again!

We were here on Friday and ordered 2 steaks, wings and a dessert. Amazing food, amazing service. There was a mixup with our steaks but The manager (I think her name was Jocelynquickly resolved the issue and went above and beyond in making our experience fantastic.

Just had the BEST dining experience ever!!! Pleasant inviting atmosphere coupled with good food and the greatest combination of people one could ever be so lucky to meet. No exaggeration, hands down better service than a Michelin star restaurant minus the white gloves. Maysa who was our server for the delightful evening together with her two associates Anjolie and Lucas werent just attentive but an absolute pleasure whenever they would come to the table. We had a birthday dinner that we had hoped to be a good evening was instead made to be a SPECTACULAR one. I could go on in detail how they deserve such accolades but Ill leave that to you to experience yourself. Thank you again guys and kudos to Earls.

I just wanted to write in about an amazing experience we had tonight. Our server Meysa really went all the way to make sure we were well taken care of. She made great drink recommendations (they have a new Blue Hawaiian cocktail it’s AWESOME.The atmosphere was lovely, and so was her service. If you want to make sure you have a spectacular time, ask for Meysa!

Inflation has obviously caused prices to rise everywhere but seriously? You think this piece of chicken is worth $21 in a sandwich? It is cracker thin and is half of a breast that has been slivered into 3 pieces, two of which made it on to two halves of a sandwich. So splitting a chicken breast for 3 x $21 sandwiches. The irony is that while waiting for our food and my guest pointing out how expensive things have got and I defended Earls stating the reason they can charge this is the guarantee of quality. Well I guess that guarantee is gone...

Came in today to sit on the patio!! Just wanted to say that May was unreal. We saw how busy she was but she just genuinely cared so much about making sure we were taken care of. Great drinks get service great food!! We’ll be back. Ask for Maysa :)

We went to Earls and ordered food and drinks. One of the food items (a pizzawas burnt along much of the crust and the bottom part. Its not really in our nature to say something right away so we just picked around the burn items. Our server Amy came later to check on us and asked how things were. We said it was good... but the pizza was burnt and we had a plate full of burnt bits to show for it. Amy profusely apologized and sought to make it right. She offered to have a new one delivered but we were full by then as we had ordered the Spinach dip. She then said that she would definitely take this off our bill and we would not have to pay for it. She even offered to give us a dessert as well but we were really stuffed and didnt want that to go to waste. I write this review to let you know that Amy made our night. While others may have deducted stars in their review, Amy was a star herself and her positive attitude and bubbly personality made our night. We will definitely be back and will make sure to say hi to her when we are.

Strolled on I to earls grill n bar in Port Coquitlam, I had Aleksandra as my server assistant and Lauren as my server. Both did an incredible job, gave us great service as well as served us great food. Will be back soon!

Great customer service but the food is bland. We ordered Chicken curry so I can understand they cant match a Punjabi/Indian restaurant but the things that theyre trying to match or surpass like the rest of the food are so bland, no spice. Taste is very subjective and some people might like their cooking style but it wasnt for us. Dessert Creme Brulee was pretty good. In my honest opinion Cactus tastes better and has way bigger portions.

Edit: Tacos were absolutely delicious along with the margaritas!! Fantastic service as usual!Had an amazing dining experience on New Years Day thanks to our server Tess as she had great personality, provided quick service, accommodated to our needs and followed up appropriately! Came for a family dinner, and everything was absolutely amazing! Our waitress Jenine was the highlight of our dinner, she joked and just overall helped us feel very happy, welcomed and at home! As for the manager Lucas, he showed class and was very responsible as he came by to make sure everything went smoothly. Will come again!!

Lauren and Andrea provided our large group impeccable service on a busy Saturday night. They were both friendly and attentive to our table our drinks were never empty and our food arrived hot and timely. As a frequent Earls patron I was highly impressed with the quality of service and the attentiveness of both of our waitresses.

Great food! Sat and the Bar KJ was our bartender he was great. Very personable and attentive. All the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

I dont go to earls often but the food here is pretty delicious. I had the santa fe chicken salad, which was pretty standard and nothing special. My friend had the new prawn shroomami bowl which was surprisingly very good. The tempura was perfectly fried and mixed together with the cauliflower quinoa with the kale and pickled onion, it all just worked together really well. The only thing is that it was around $28 which is extremely expensive in my opinion. I would suggest going during happy hour and getting the vegan shroomami bowl, which is the same except it is tofu instead of prawn and it is $18 I think. The clam chowder here was delicious as well. I finally had a caesar which was to die for. I absolutely love earls caesars!

It had been more than 12 years since I ate at Earls,My Cesar cocktail was excellent, it came with a hunk of cheese and a piece of Pepperoni 👍. The salad was ok.

My reason: #1. We had a great server and server assistant. The service has gone way down across the board since COVID but this was next-level-amazing service. #2. Cant beat a good happy hour. 3#. Our server made sure to get our orders before it ended as we came 15-min before the end of Happy Hour #4. Its a double-edge sword. Consistency has become a welcome thing in restaurants, with so many disappointments, sometimes its nice to know what to expect - quality, food, service

Premium casual neighborhood Earls with plenty of free mall parking. Food, just like other Earls, is fantastic. Happy hour has great prices (maybe drinks are not too happy-houry priced but no complaints here). We tried margarita pizza and it was so good we got another one. Cajun chicken was fantastic and fries are heavenly. They also have one of the best tacos in town. Service was super nice and courteous too; we asked to be reseated closed to heaters and that was done within 5 minutes. On to my next Earls!
