Street corner local serving pints and pies in burgundy and green interior with bare wooden floors.
Nice GreenKing pub in Earls Court. Had a good selection of beers, wine and spirits as well as soft drinks. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I am guessing they were expecting trouble as there were two security men on the door, three policeman eventually turned up outside and our beer was served in a plastic glass. They were also not serving any food. Maybe on a different day it would have been completely different
Medium sized Nicholson battle cruiser.
got some overpriced Greene king brand beer that tasted like ... nothing at all actually. bought some chips and onion rings and they gave us about 5 and they were both rubbish. I would not recommend. although I will say the staff was very nice
Good little pub conveniently placed close to Earls Court Tube station. Good menu selection with reasonably priced food served quickly.I would definitely return to this pub when Im back in the area.
Looked for a place to watch the World Cup Rugby League. Legends found the channel and poured a mean pint! Recommend!
Nice pub, busy on a Saturday night when I visited. 👍
We visited Earls Court Tavern last week while visiting the Big Data LDN conference at Olympia. We selected the pub as the ambience appealed to us. The staff were really nice. We also had food. I ordered a shared Nachos platter and the Nachos seemed to be the lot left at the bottom of the packet, it wasnt really a shared platter as there were only a few i there and some Nachos had been left in the grill/oven for too long. I ordered a plant burger and again nothing to shout about. Its a nice place but they need to up their game with respect to the food. In summary, good place for a get together but not for food.
the worst fish and chips in town. They over fry the fish toooooo much, you can’t taste any fish meat. Just oil block. Disgusting🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Every time there is a game the police needs to be called. They atract the worse crowds of thugs and have no way of controlling them. They start fights, and locals and passers by are disturbed if not assaulted. And you take the risk of getting arrested only for being in this pub. Avoid at all costsNew photo added today. The police had to intervene before someone got killed inside the pub. Overcrowded and out of control (03/09)
Good traditional English pub in the heart of Earls Court and just across from the tube station. Good selection of local and international beers on tap and in bottle. Greene & King pub chain standard food menu but good quality, portions and price. Friendly staff.
Ģood pub, good food, what more do you want
Went here almost everyday while we were staying on Earls court. The staff is friendly, the drinks are good, and the food is yummy.
Fish and chips were great... Usually I dont like thick cut - but these were perfectly done. Kids had halloumi and chips - and that was unbelievably good!Excellent selection of gin - several Ive seen in the store ut didnt want to commit to buying a whole bottle, so here was the opportunity to try it on a small scale.
Good food, friendly service, if you sit opposite the door, you get smoke coming from cigarettes
Go there for a great Pub experience. Cold beer, great food, and very friendly, helpful and more than attentive staff. Watched the Chelsea vs Tottenham match there - and fans of both teams had a good time there together.
Good food, good service and on that particular night the bartenders were hot. Very hot looking men behind the bar
Warm welcome, very good fish and chips and craft beers !
Friendly staff, fast service and good food. The music choice was also great, it really added to the vibes of the place :)
Friendly staff, slightly cheaper than other bars close by. Great location. Food was closed on my visit but the menu was good and the place was very clean.
The best pub grub on our London visit. Great ambience, good food and great portion sizes as well.We had a kilo of chicken wings, large fish and chips and hunters chicken. All the dishes tasted great and came with the right sides. Service was great- will recommend!
The food was delicious! I had a chicken burger. It was so thick and juicy. The bacon on it was real bacon, thick and crisp. My husband had the fish and chips wich was also really good.
Lovely traditional London pub built in 1864. Great service from a friendly smilin young woman.
Nice place, been on football match... all calm. The food was good.
Would not recommend, pub turned off the TVs and kicked everyone out during the EFL Playoff penalty shootout. Had to run to Prince of Teck to catch the end of it.
Fish&Chips could use a tad bit more salt, otherwise 5/5. Staff were kind!
Called into the pub for dinner, was in the UK for a trade show, food was very good, and fast service.Would recommend this pub.
Great atmosphere during football games, tasty fish and chips and good beer ;)
Good food and great choice of beers. Crowded at mealtimes and in the evening. Friendly service.
Such a wonderfull place i eated her DELICOUS as a non British I had to find out how it works at this pub I will explain youAt first you get a table where you sit after you find your dish you go and get back to the bar where you can get your food the food will come to your table later once your done you get back to the bar to pay the billThat’s it I really enjoyed eating here
Had really good fish & chips
The fish and chips were delicious. Decent choice of beers. Stressed but very friendly bartender. The young waitress can learn a lot from those behind the counter ...I would really recommend this pub. Also double security but they were pretty friendly too.
Food was decent and met our expectations. One thing which was a bit odd was the bones in the fish and chips. The service was nice but could do with a bit more of a cheerful attitude but nothing major.
Great place. Fair prices. The dishes had good portions. Maybe the staff could be a bit more welcoming.
I had best fish and chips over here! Perfectly cooked, crispy, fresh, just delicious. Staff was very friendly and polite and even through busy evening, everything was ready very fast. I will happily come back over here.
Cant give them more than 3 stars because we went there for dinner and turned out they dont serve food due to some problems with the chef. Bummer, I read such a great reviews and was really looking forward to it after a long day. Wouldve been nice if they mentioned it before we sat down. Overall nice cozy, traditional atmosphere, the staff wasnt really bothered if there will be any customers or not.
Cheap pub full of non-civilized people and drunkards. Great for getting wasted if you have nothing better to do with your life and all you do in life is watch football, drink and gamble
Great place for Fish and Chips with a pint! Huge piece of cod!
Class pub, friendly atmosphere, the girl who works behind the bar is a star and a credit to the business.. priced ok for down south...
Fantastic little pub/tavern. They happen to have sky sports so was good to chill having a few pints while watching the football. The price is great and the staff are really friendly. A nice clean stop off should you want a pint or to watch the footie.
Fantastic experience, the staff is super helpful while we are struggling on the internet n try to order on the app.The food exceed my expectation, the roasted half chicken is very good! Crispy chicken skin with tender meat, the French fries are full of butter favor, the salad in right portion! You expect nothing but you get everything. Will definitely come again
Decent average pub in my opinion, nothing bad or great really. It was clean and not that noisey which are good, was able to sit and chat and not have to shout.Drinks took a long time to arrive, ordered via their app and took nearly 15 minutes. We thought wed ordered for the wrong pub it took that long. Which was odd considering it was really quite or "As busy as it gets" according to Google.Staff were nice, but very clumsy. We were there about an hour and theyd dropped 4 different glasses, which was quite amusing. Some of the people here were really nice too, which was unexpected. We were trying to take a picture and a guy on his own enjoying a beer, saw us struggling, so he offered to take one for us (thank you)!Either way, nice quiet pub to enjoy a drink. Would probably go again for a nice relaxed evening.
Excellent english pub experience, fancy place, typical furnitures, good fish and chips, good tap beers, big screen to see sport matches. Vino, the most sympathetic barman in London!
Location is fantastic, interior decor is superb, food is delicious ... however, staff have run out of friendliness and common courtesy to acknowledge that they have 2 customers (I am very sure we didnt look transparent on the day). We were ignored, not even greeted, not even a smile when the condiments and cutleries were put on our table ??? We were not sure what was going on at the time. I did manage to "force" a smile or laugh from one of the chaps, but I shouldnt "force" this, should I? This should come out quite naturally because we (definitelylooked human on the day and the business is customer-facing anyway. Sorry folks, the one star review is for the food. More stars cannot be justified based on your performance on the day of our visit and you should try to rethink your strategy on how you can make your paying customers feel-valued. Social distancing is not an excuse to not throw a simple "hello" to your customers. If you are very selective with the customers you wish to interact with friendliness, then my verdict really is this pub is NOT suitable to be recommended if the criterion is "Friendly British Pub". You will top the league of "Ignore Customers Pub of the Year 2021".
Great place to have a drink and some food.Staff was great.Good choice of beers.
As we sat down, little did we know we had to order at the bar instead of the server coming to ask us what we wanted to order. This is different for us. I had the fish and chips with mushy peas and water. I tasted delicious. Great service. Very busy at this time of the day.
The food variety is higher than I expected. The prices were somewhat high, then again, its London. Furthermore, good service, good ale. All in all pretty neat
Pritty basic English new sports bar style pub. Food is basic burger menus with some sandwich and English dishes.Tried the 8oz Rump steak, medium cooked.Got a lot smaller piece of thin meat, coocked dead and almost destroyed, not tender at all, just like shoe leather. If you want burgers, fish n chips, Steak & Puddles Ale pie, it is good tho.Desent selection of beers, cool staff.A bit noisy due to music an loud talking People.A lot noisy when football/soccer is on, but that is the thing with live sports.
Really nice food with several vegan options, including a really tasty vegan fish & chips! Lovely staff aswell. (Vegan fish & chips in the picture). I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant at all
The interior looks quite good, a typical pub. A decent selection of beer and drinks. The bartender looked lost. We received cutlery with one dirty napkin. When asked for more the bartender said they were out. The food looked nice and tasted ok but the chips were barley warm and the burger bun was cold as ice. Highly disappointed with the price in comparison to the quality.
A pub for tourist, as many in this area. The food is rather good, though standardised and from a noted caterer of pub grub. Prices are high for British standards, but perfectly in line with Londons standards. A nice environment, recommended if youre in the area.
