5 of us went to the Earl of Cornwall this afternoon for food. The menu was limited with a number of things not available such as the burgers, gammon and steak. Placed 2 separate orders, one through the app and the other at the bar. The first round of drinks that arrived were flat and in dirty glasses. After 50 minutes of waiting some of our food turned up, after asking about the remaining 2 meals we were told it would be a few minutes. After some time we asked again where the remaining food was to be asked what was it we ordered again. Eventually the wrong meal turned up. With one of our party being gluten free with celiac disease she ordered a gluten free hunters chicken sandwich, to be given a standard hunters chicken with chips and onion rings which was not gluten free! After complaining a member of staff rudely came to our table and accused us of ordering a standard hunters chicken which we did not. Due to the limited menu we decided to ask for a refund for the 2 meals we didn’t get due to the ridiculous wait and rude staff. It was a hassle getting the refund and we still ended up paying for one of the meals that we didn’t eat! Would not recommend coming to this pub.

Its been along time for me.. I dont/havent drank beer in a pub setting for years, but the buildings still "a rocking n a rolling."

Id booked a table online for Sunday Lunch but it seems reservations arent needed - upon entry at 1300 we were pointed into the dining area and told to sit anywhere (the USB charging points near the seats are a plus!- the place was pretty quiet. However, for 1pm on a Sunday, we were also told there was no more beef... either for a roast dinner or for sandwiches.We ordered our meals and drinks over the bar, which required waiting for staff to appear (the bar is an L-shape, meaning customers at one side arent spotted from the other). Theres not a great beer range, but had sufficient in bottles, and I went for chicken skewers and wings, which took a good 30 mins to come out but wasnt bad - the chips were good and dry but it was typical pub chain fayre, sufficient to plug a gap, and cheap with the deals available.We returned for another visit later that week (tuesday evening), using the app to place our orders but this didnt speed anything up - and were shocked to find there was only one beer on and no ice for any of the cocktails. Again, the meals were decidedly average, with my colleagues tomato slice atop her burger a thin end sliver and my Chicken Katsu Curry ended up being Chinese curry sauce poured over breaded chicken goujons plus chips and (boiledrice. It was tasty enough, and the addition of rice soaked up the sauce well, but still felt like typical chippy offerings rather than something youd expect from a pub.

Absolutley lovely local pub, with great deals and affordable decent food.A must for anyone after decent beer and great chat from Mark the Landlord. who is such a great man and looks after us whenever we pop in.

I came here Tuesday, with a friend and we were welcomed by Mark, the Landlord and his bar staff. Danielle is also very attentive at her work. My friend and i ordered Carlsberg, which was really fresh. Then we decided to have food. We both decided on an All Day Breakfast. The food was presented very well, and Danielle who served us was great. She delivered the cutlery, food and a box of sauces. Very nice food and we stayed for another couple of pints. Mark said thank you to both of us and hope we come back again. So, my mate Pete and I are here today.

Wicked atmosphere, lovely food

Awful. People playing their own music on a speaker outside. Service was shocking, it wasn’t even busy and my husband waited nearly 10 mins to be served for drinks as the locals clearly came first. When finally got some drinks and sat outside there was a guy stumbling out of the door that had pee’d himself, it was only 7pm. I was dubious when looking at the photos but some reviews from some other people visiting the area reassured me that it would be ok to go with the family. Should of stuck to my gut and not bothered. We was going to have some food here but after what we experienced we jumped in an Uber and went else where.

Came in for some food after a busy day at Legoland last night, and Im so glad we did. Food was divine, portions were big, all hot! Staff were also very friendly! Definitely will return when in the area again! Thankyou x

The friendliest pub in the area. Staff are amazing along with the great pub grub food and cleanliness of the pub you couldn’t ask for better. Visited couple of times now and will definitely be back.

Nice pub for a pint or to watch the footy, does serve decent food too. Has outside seating and large car park. Also close to a couple of little convenience stores and the retail park. Close to jctn 6 M4

Really enjoy coming here. Spacious pub with a family friendly side. The food is great! We love the all day breakfast and the chicken wings. It’s always fresh and the staff are really friendly. Great value for money 👍

Terrible slow service, waiting for food over 40min in nearly empty restaurant apart the other pub where people drinking. They forgot cheesy chips and garlic bread, after waiting a bit asked for it. Been told 5min,after 20min waiting went to ask again and just then we go what ordered. After finishing mains no one even collects empty plates even after. Atrocious service, 4 adults and 3 kids we felt we been forgotten.

Its okay,prices are reasonable,and its has seating outside, half of pub not in use as they had a private function which made it very busy in other half of pub,glad we got to a sit outside or would of moved on.

We stopped in while staying locally. Prices were great. Service was a bit slow and portion sizes small. Order a couple of sides and youll be fine though. Our kids were still hungry after we had got pudding so bought chips on way back to hotel.Nice, clean and friendly staff.

Very friendly, looked slightly run down from out side but clean and as expected from a green king inside food was lovely as well

My husband, granddaughter and myself were visiting the area for a couple of day. This place was recommended to us by someone who was working at the hotel we were staying. We were not disappointed. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Spotless to say the least and the food was really enjoyable at an affordable prices. We enjoyed so much we went back the second night. We will definitely call in if we are in the area again

Extremely friendly pub.Was my local for six wks, didnt take long to make friends with the staff,Charlotte,Amber,Jess & Nick, all made me welcome. Food was good lots of choice, will definitely return when working in the area.Only downside, landlord supports Norwich, sorry Mark only joking🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We were visiting the area and found this place by luck.We felt a little stared at when we first entered (3 noisy kids so were used to that). The place was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. It was showing the football on big screens around the pub and the commentary could be heard clearly (a good thing for us may be not some though).The food was cooked really well (medium rare steak was perfect!!And the portions were good too. Large range of drinks available. The staff were friendly and helpful. Has a disabled toilet with baby change too.Only issue was that there was heavy rain and the car park ended up as a big puddle with our car in the middle of it.Will definitely be going back when next in the area and would highly recommend the place 👍

Staying in nearby Hotel, booked this pub for a meal. So glad we did, staff friendly, never felt rushed, food was freshly prepared and tasted great. We will certainly call in when next in area.

A great little sports bar in Slough, the Earl has a great vibe. Nice, friendly locals and the staff there are always welcoming to your needs. The landlord, Mark is great, super friendly and always tries to mingle with the customers. Then theres Charlotte. Theres not enough praise for what this lady does, but she could certainly run her own establishment. As the saying goes, "if Carlsberg done landladies" shed be ideal. Theres not much she cannot do within the Earl. All of the other staff within the Earl certainly make you feel welcome. Great to have a pub with a good atmosphere 👍🏾

Popped into this pub on a whim as I managed to park my truck outside. Very welcoming staff and locals. Nice fresh beer. Landlord even offered me use of shower as I sleep in my truck all week. Will deffinately will call again when in the area.

Had a fabulous experience here, the staff was very accommodating with every request! Food was way above expectations and tasted possibly the best meal we’ve had in a long time. If travel wasn’t so far we would make this our local

Dinner for 4! What else can I say! Staying in a nearby hotel with awful food. Walked passed this pub and thought lets book! Can in at 7.30 with 2 kids after a bumper day at Legoland! We were advised 2 footy games where playing but we assured we were more than welcome.We were seated and had a look at what can only be discribed as a fantastic menu!2 happy adults and 2 very happy kids!The staff were so lovely and the lady that was on was so friendly and very child friendly! Cant thank you guys enough.Food was just fantastic! Our burgers were amazing and dessert was what it should be. Satisfying! 10/10

Popped in to watch football...was told they had 4 screens and 2 matches available to watch.While there had chicken nuggets, served in "buckets", lovely and hot and proper chicken not reconstituted stuff (like Mcdonalds).

Really nice welcoming Greene king pub. Staff were extra friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and a really good price.
