ETX Brewing Company in Tyler

My wife and I made the 2 1/2 hour drive late September to celebrate my birthday, and visit with an old friend : Everyone was very friendly (owners, their family, staff and a few apparent regulars), the beer was awesome, and the location downtown is really cool. There is plenty of FREE parking in the garage right next door, as well. Did I mention the beer was great? I had both the east and west coast IPAs, both on draft, and later with six packs to go, and Im still torn as to which one I like the best. It varies from day to day. Will have to go back and purchase more soon so I can decide :)

We love this place! Beers are great and employees are awesome!

The atmosphere is fun and there is something to occupy the kids. They have great seatings and friendly workers.

Had a great time here doing tastings and trying a few different items on the menu. Seems to be a nice clean family oriented place. Told us pets are welcome, call to verify. We enjoyed everything we tried. White queso nachos, wings, brat and our beer flight were all very good. All of our servers were punctual and friendly.

Great beer, food, and atmosphere! Park Ranger if youre an IPA fan. They have a blueberry infused IPA that was good, if youre looking for something a little different.Fantastic staff. They had a medical issue with a patron the last time I was here and no one hesitated to help the individual in distress. No less than 3 of them stopped what they were doing to help. In todays time, thats above and beyond!

The employees are very knowledgeable and easy to get along with, and the beer is is outstanding!

Wasn’t yet crowded when I visited at 6:00PM but the staff was friendly, the service was quick and the pulled pork was outstanding.

Love this place. Our dogs love it, we love the drinks, and everyone that works here is great. This is the place to go for relaxed drinks in town. My one request is that they brew a Belgian trippel ale, they would knock it out of the park.

Very nice beers and great food to pair with the beer. Wait staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Sample of the beers are freely offered.Very nice place.

My wife attended the release party of Blind Ambition today with the East Texas Light House. Unfortunately I was unable to attend but, She brought home a growler of this sweet delicious beer. Im hoping that this will become a yearly summer brew! This is one of the best beers I have had in quite a while!!

I enjoyed it it more like a bare then a restaurant but very good beer

Hands down, absolutely most favorite bier is brewed here! I love Oktoberfest biers and I havent had one better than from here at ETX Brewery! The food is great, the service is impeccable, the atmosphere is electric, and the location is on point! Cant wait to see what this place grows into! They had an Oktoberfest celebration here and coming up is the Halloween festivities, and you can bet Ill be there! Still enjoying the wonderful food and staff! The Pac N Berries, Black Cherry Sour, and Fruit Kiss seasonal beers are excellent! Get up here and try em!

This place is more than great craft beer. Its really good food too.

Punchy beers (which is the #1 thing I want from a small, local brewery—no one needs a new take on Bud Light), laid-back atmosphere, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, kid-friendly, dog-friendly, sports on TV, games (foosball, Cornhole, pool), even some live music. Ill be back again soon.

This place ticks all the boxes! Excellent choices of their own brews, the food is simply levels above! Ambiance is top notch. Service is also tops!

Great bar in tyler that i was able to stop by on the way to see family. Its hard to find sit down places after 8pm in tyler as even places like chilis were closed.The atmosphere was very laidback and the space had a wife open layout. The beer selection was excellent and as a cider drinker there we a couple of intriguing options. The cider was great as well as the macaroni and cheese frenchfries.You can buy beers to take home or sit down at tables or the bar. Sports are on the tv and off to the side there is a big space for pool and other activities. Then there is also a big outdoor seating area.Really felt like i was back in austin when coming here. Would recommened anyone to check it out when in east texas.

A great venue for a beer and some grub. The crispiness on the chicken sandwich is not your normal breading and was really good. Washed it down with an 1846 IPA, light with a piney finish.

Loved the atmosphere, and had fun playing trivia. But in my opinion the food was overpriced for what you get. Appetizers can normally feed more than one person, and for $10-$12 a plate, you definitely would expect them to. We had plans of doing drinks & Appetizers, but wound up having to order meals as well. The beer selection is always fun & the staff is always friendly. We got the Buffalo chicken fries (maybe 15 fries & a chicken stripe broken into 3 pieces& loaded tots (maybe 15 tots with 3 bacon stripes, cheese & such), just beware, these are not table size dishes, they are more like single serving appetizers. The burger he got with the mound of fries for less $ was a way better deal & tasted amazing! The bite size beignets were very good as well!

Went for an early supper. ETX/Porch always has good burgers. The menu has just enough variety to suit a taste, but not an abundance of options. The atmosphere is family friendly. Despite being a brewery, I have no problem taking my teen boys for burgers. I have never had a problem with loud drunks causing problems.

First time here and absolutely love this place!!! The young lady at the register suggested the "Dragon 🐉 burger 🍔 and let me tell you " AMAZING!!!" thank you very much for the suggestion on that burger...will definitely come back for another 1 or 5 lol.Atmosphere and vibe are chill... definitely a place to come and enjoy a goood time

Nice place to sit and have an excellent draft on a hot day. Nice spacious environment, well crafted beer and excellent burgers. From the food to the service my first visit warrants return trips. .

Amazing beer!!! And we are pretty particular! There food is also amazing. Super friendly staff, we sat next to the the owner/head brewery and he was super cool. Definitely go there!!!

Great place to grab some casual food and hang with the family or friends. This place has a pub like feel: a lot of families and kids, lots of big groups. people playing games. So happy that Tyler can support a cool joint like this. I eat here at least once a week.

The bar and staff were so so friendly! My boyfriend and I had a nice night out enjoying their snack/comfort foods. We ordered the Buffalo chicken fries and Buffalo chicken wrap as well, both great. My boyfriend was happy with the brewery’s options in beer and wine. Such a kickback place to go when you need a peaceful/chill night or evening out of the house. You can dine inside or outside, but each is it’s own experience.

I really really liked this place. I rode from 2 hours away and wasnt disappointed at all. The venue is great, plenty of space inside and out. A very good selection of house beers...i tried 3 of them and ended up taking 2 different 6 packs to go because it was that good. They had food but I didnt try any. I look forward to going back again

The staff is amazing with incredible beers! Can’t remember her name, but the blue haired waitress was fantastic! Love the beer selection and the rotation along with the location! Try them out!

I had a good experience in this location; I am so glad that businesses like these operate in downtown Tyler. The service was fast, beer tasted awesome and the ambiance was grate. The reason I did not give five stars is because the prices are a bit high.

Super friendly staff with great food and brew to boot.Sorry I missed the photos; to hungry to pause.I had a lovely amber brew with a nice slightly sweet finish. I forgot the full name, but it has Hitched in it.We had some excellent potato skins well decorated with chive, cheese and bacon complimented with a side of sour cream.I also had the pulled pork sandwich which was exceptional. The pork was moist with a hint of smoke and generously served on a quality bun with pickels on the bottom, sauce on the pork and topped off with fried egg cooked your preference.Wonderful experience all around and I hope to make it back.

We had a wonderful time! Im a beer guy and I have to point out that our waitress/bartender really knows her stuff. The food was quite excellent and we look forward to coming back soon!

Great atmosphere, great beers, and great food!! This place was awesome, all staff was friendly with exception of one guy working the front bar. They educated you on the beers, took time to tell you about everything, brought you food when it came out. My wife and I tried the porter, blueberry haze, brick street blonde, and yardbird. They were all so good and so much better than the beers we had from true vine (the other local brewery). We also had cheese curds and bbq wings and both were so good. Will definitely be going back on our next trip and spending more time there!

This place is great!! The burgers are super creative and tasty. I think my favorite one Ive had so far is the cowboy burger. They have a wide selection of beer so its a great place to go and hang out with friends. The owner is super friendly and frequently makes an appearance to ask us how our food and service was. Love this place!!

Food was really good. Mac and Cheese fries were super unique. I enjoyed both beers I tried. Definitely worth checking out.

Amazing beer!!! Such a nice atmosphere with many things to do in the brewery. Great food! Ive come here many times and everything has been amazing. Service is awesome and the staff is so kind and caring. 10/10 recommend.

This place is awesome. Really good beer, (Nitro MaGinnis is my fav), really good food (I think the burgers are the best in Tyler), and really fun staff (Melissa will crack you up).

This place is a Tyler favorite! You must go here if you love delicious food, good feel-good music, and good beer. There is plenty of seating and the food always exceeds my expectations. My personal favorite is the chicken spinach quesadilla (I dont have a photo because I ate all of it before grabbing a photo). Definitely come here if youre in the area!

The burgers are honestly the best in town! The craft beers are unique and very good. I frequent this place for trivia and when my boyfriend and I are walking around downtown.P.S. There is a pokestop close enough to spin in the upstairs part.

Came here for the first time today and it was awesome. Kristina and Sera were so helpful and attentive. Got the cheese fries with grilled chicken and avocado and it was so good. Great food, better service. Definitely will be coming back.

Really yummy food. Lots of options for beer. I love spurs so its perfect. They also can sell beer to go. The Mac and cheese fries are delicious. And they always have something going on. Trivia, game nights... Parking kinda sucks if they are busy, but there is public parking right next door.

I really enjoyed my time in Tyler. This was a small town Brewery nestled in the Original Downtown Tyler. The beers are tasty, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back with multiple large sitting areas.

Oh my goodness. When youre on a long road trip and your mission is one beer per state and suddenly the bartender starts pouring every beer on tap you know youre somewhere amazing. Thank you for the wonderful beer and the awesome experience guys.

Stopped here on a Friday night, and this place was hopping. It was a little chilly outside, but luckily we found a table inside. It’s a little cramped in there, but found out they’ll be opening up a much larger area next door.Great beer selection. They had 9 beers and 1 root beer. Varied selection available, and I would definitely recommend a flight or two to get a good sampling of what they have to offer. My favorites were the brown ale with cherry juice, and an orange creamsicle milkshake IPA. Bit like I said, you can’t go wrong with jay ever you choose.The two staff members working were super friendly. I felt a little timid at first, being from out of town and this being my first time here, but they welcomed me and even engaged in some chatter. Give this place a try if you are ever in downtown Tyler. You won’t regret it!
