Love this place. Good music, great food (esp native chik tinolaand very large portions at reasonable price. Beer ice cold too.

Old fashioned place that looks/looked good. Good ambiance for couples and old people. Acceptable band with old fashioned music. Needs an upgrade. Burger quite tough/bad. Staff indifferent.

Loved the mixed seafood and grilled squid. The prices are also quite reasonable.

Delicious food and definitely worth the price. We waited around 15-20 minutes and our order was already served very fast.

Best Food and place to Chill

Could not have been worse. Disrespectful service, messed up our order, two hot and one iced cappuccino (seriously, three items?). The, frankly speaking, pretty expensive coffee following was incredibly over sweetened. Just a fail in every manner imaginable.

The ambience of this place is nice, but thats where it ends. Id been here once before to wait for a meeting and didnt like the coffee. This time in a storm, dropped in for a beer. 95% of the beer on display they dont have. The 5% they do have are served hot ! When asking the staff why, they said that is the way it is ! Dont go here !

Good lunch there. It is actually a nice place compared to Surigao city neighborhood. Just perfect for a layover before catching the boat for Cebu. The kinilaw was super good, the coffee as well. But it could have been better if the waitress did not messed up 2 times with our order! She came with 3 cookies but we ordered 2 but charged us for 3... and she messed up with the coffee of my friend iced coffee instead of warm. Improvement needed.

The lady server is very sarcastic and very bossy... were always eating there while we stay at tavern but we are discourage when we eat with my friends and that lady server is very bossy. Is it good to serves water from other guest? Ow! What she think? That old water must be out of our table but she serve it for us! Yaks! And didnt provide new water bots for us! Shame to this lady server. Until then we regret to eat again and never again in this place!!! Thats a very bad experience! Never to comeback this restaurant again. Late water serving. Long time to wait for your food unpleasant server..!!!!

The place looked really nice and comfy, but their coffee does not taste good at all and there isnt really anything special about their food; its just regular food that you might as well just buy from a street vendor and pay a lesser price for.

Dont bother going there if youre just gonna have dinner with your family. Theyre a very busy resto. We had trouble finding table and asked a crew but just told us to find it ourselves "pangita Lang mo dira maam". Then when there was finally a free table, we waited for a couple of minutes just for them to notice us and ask a menu. Lastly, when it was time to order, we waited for nearly 20mins waving our arms to call attention to the waiters. We called the waiter who was giving glasses of water to a table near us to take our order. But he just told us that they were busy "busy man gud maam". I know that they are busy but you dont say that to a customer. We got up after that and went somewhere else. WERE NEVER GOING BACK TO THAT VERY UNFRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE RESTO.

Best place for a cold beer with friends and loved ones

Good restaurant with philippino dishes. The fresh fish is very good. As is quite commen in the Phillipines, vegetarian options come with meet. Beer is cold.

Food took 1 hour. Terrible service. They should have told us honestly that it would take time. Other tables who came later where served first. Sad.

This is the most elegant bar in the city. Prices are not that bad. Live band most of the night. Closes around midnight though.

Really a great spot, foods good, prices are absolutely more then reasonable. Staff is very professional. Cool atmosphere, highly recomend givener a go. (Had an 11 month old baby with us that had a blast, suprisingly kid friendly)

Coffee good, interior really cool, food OK. Sadly we felt unwelcomed as white people - all Filipinos after us were served and the staff made sure they dont look at us. Even when serving eventually they made sure theres no eye contact. We were very surprised since we behaved friendly and even talked Tagalog as much as we could.I asked for a burger without tomatoes and they served it with a small hidden slice of tomato in the middle. Aside that the burger sauce was very sweet and kinda ruined; all the other ingredients and fries were good.Wont come again.Edit: just went on the streets for the first time here and realized they just dont want white people here. Sad racism.

Nice place good food and service. Great place for a nice lunch, reasonable pricing, cool music. Open at 10:00 am (1000which is ashame because on the menu they have a selection of waffles; this would go great with with the coffees and teas offered. Open until 11:30 pm (2330so I will revisit again later this evening.

Love the set-up of the place. Food & drinks are good esp. their grilled cheese sandwich and mint iced tea. You can also get meals here with servings good for 2 to 3 persons. One thing though, if you need a receipt they cant issue one if their nearby EJ resto is still closed. Shouldnt they have receipt of their own?

Good food, open late. Ive eaten here several times and the cooking is mostly good. There is a 20 peso fee for "entertainment" for the live bands. Also a lot of mosquito and rats. But the food is clean
