Dwellingup History and Visitor Information Centre - Visitor centre in Mandurah, Australia
A beautiful rest stop with cafe and excellent ablution facilities right next to the rail museum. Grateful thanks to all the residents of charming Dwellingup.
Staff were super helpful and held my resupply package for me that I was able to pick up on a weekend for no cost, amazing
I stopped in to get a few things I needed while riding the Munda Biddi and the free self-service bike station was fantastic! The person there was also super helpful when I had mechanical questions. And the free hot showers across the way were glorious after a long days ride.
Tracy at the visitor centre part was awesome! Great to chat too and really took time to show me some spots I might like to camp, thanks to her I found one I stayed at nearly two weeks which was peaceful.Paid washing machine and dryer available, free shower runs on solar, was hot at around 10am on a rainy morning, cafe there and plenty of toilets, can fill your water bottles. Cheers ✌️
Beautiful new building with wonderfully clean facilities free for those finishing a hike or ride. The shop was full of reasonably priced, good quality hiking/biking/camping gear and the staff were a great help 🙏😊 Cant wait to come back! 👍

Super friendly and informative staff. Loads of info and tips were given to us.
Very informative great place full of history of Dwellingup and surrounding areas and has a delightful cafe/coffee shop.
It was a pleasant Autumn day with shades of colour in the surrounding trees, sunlight filtering through nearby gums, green lawn and flowers about. The structure of the Visitors Centre is an inviting mix of steel, wood and glass, placed near the steam trains, oval, and bike/board jump area.Theres a visitor centre with the usual items for sale, an information person, a bike hire centre, a lovely cafe with home baked goods and soups. Adjacent are toilets, showers for free use, catering to those who enjoy the trails.Easy parking and access.
Great location, the place looks fantastic. Beautiful timber structure. Nice staff too.
Wonderful place. Very informative. Great meals, service & staff
Excellent ablution and laundry facilities, cafe does gluten-free food and has great outdoor spaces.

Vast improvement on the previous place 😀 Only criticism is they didnt use all native plants in the landscaping .... whats with the Magnolias! 👎
A little small but with plenty of information available regarding local trails and parks. Awesome interactive virtual reality displays, great information booklets and friendly staff. Plenty of parking available and has a cafe and giftshop joined on to it.
Lovely village atmosphere. Couple of good cafes in town and a museum/information centre with a bit of local history. There are scenic rail trips leaving every few hours.
Not long opened. Its great so far. Modern facility. Great ablution block. Look forward to the opening of the Cafe.
Nice new resource and lots of good info on the new trail park at pool lane reserve. Friendly and helpful staff
Myself and a friend travelled 2 hours to Dwellingup to try gain some information on the town and the 1961 bushfires and plan a fieldwork trip to conduct with our school. We were met by extremely rude and unhelpful staff who made it very evident they could not be bothered to speak to us and answer some simple questions. I dont see it fit for a visitor information centre to not welcome visitors nor offer any degree of information.
Amazing facilities at this great trail hub, ample parking, great green lawn areas, several toilets and free showers, bike maintenance stand with tools and a bike wash area. There’s a pump track and it’s all so close to ride out and enjoy the local mountain bike and hiking trails.
So interesting to find out the history of dwellingup especially the devastating fire of 1961. Keep up the good work
Friendly and helpful staff.Always good to visit the local visitor centre to find out local spots and open roads.
Very clean and tidy town, people are very helpful. Free hot shower and rest rooms facilities. We are here for Camping, love the environment, fresh air, clean road. Visitors. centre staff are very helpful. The town has IGA where all the grocery shopping can be done. Kids and Pet friendly........ Must visit town with family and friends.......
It is an eye opener to the Dwellingup area, beautifully set out with lots of information of the area and its history.Dwellingup is a beautiful country village with lots to offer.
Fantastic place, peacefull and romantic
Very informative, learnt more about WAs history. The customer service people answered all my questions and provided information that I needed.
This is a great little information center!! So much to look at and read up on. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Loved how they have the future planing up on display too. They also have park n charge for electric cars and disabled parking right out the front doors
Very informative, a large number of artifacts from time gone by. Great photo albums with interesting subjects.
A superb visitor centre. Very informative with a good display section and great maps of the local walking trails.
So happy to have visited this are and the Dam a few Kms away from here. We Picnicked at the Dam and were very happy to visit this area with its railway museum. The staff in the little stores and station were most helpful. The toilet area here was kept clean. A plus point for an electric vehicle owner is there is one charging point. We hadnt found any emus, kangaroos, long neck tortoise or koalas so we improvised at the Dam picnic area. (See my picture)
It is a beautiful place to visit didnt have time to ride the steam train
Nice place seems to always have something going on
It has always been a friendly port I the stormy life of a full time traveller. Great WiFi also provided by the Shire.
"Beautifully presented visitor centre" We loved our recent visit to this visitor centre. A fantastic & informative journey back in time. The bush fires history in this Town is an amazing but sad story. The centre itself is a beautiful structure worth taking a closer look at. Staff were VERY friendly and informative, of which they couldnt have helped us more than they already did. Well done for an EXCELLENT focus on quality customer service. Seems to be somewhat fairly rare in this small regional town! by Andrew & Jenny
A great place to drop in and have a chat. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. One of the highlights of Dwellingup and they will tell you where the others are.
Nice facility and resource for those wanting to explore the timber forests and local area. Good advice on best places for picnics and day walks. Selection of locally made crafts available. Toilets and parking area.
