Durostorum - Drustur in Calarasi

Un loc frumos, merită vizitat dacă aveți drum prin Silistra. Parcul care conține ruinele cetății antice Durostorum este situat lângă Dunăre.

Very nice place to visit. It is well maintained as well, despite the mosquitoes around (it Is a promise that the municipality will take care for themit is a great place to walk near the river Danube and play with your kids on various kids playgrounds around the garden. Wil visit for sure again.Update:2022 the garden is still great place to visit with your kids.

Хубав и подържан парк. Мили и възпитани хора.

Всичко е ок, освен някакви метални интерпретации, леко ръждясали статуйки измежду разкопките, приличащи на R2D2.

Хотелът май не работи но си заслужава да се разходите по Дунавската градина.

In apropierea ruinelor exista un parc foarte curat, plin de umbră și verdeață. Un loc unde merita sa vi sa te relaxezi !

Хубаво е, че апартаментите разполагат със средно големи вани, но липсва топла вода, с която да се напълнят. (Още повече когато гостите изрично питат за наличие на всна). Хубаво е гостите също така да бъдат префупреждавани преди настаняването им, че в почивен ден от седмицата ресторантът е ангажиран за голямо, шумно събитие и нощта им няма да е тиха и спокойна. :)

Its a part of our ancient history! Beautiful ruins that reminds us, who we are and how important is to keep Legends alive. The Old Roman Empire General, Flavius Aetius who stopped Attila to burn Rome has been born here. There is many more stories, but they are not part of the review.

Dezamagitor, in parc reconstructie cu ciment si pietre noi, practic nimic vizibil din cetatea romana. Cateva ruine bizantine langa parc care arata mai bine si unde exista o parte din zidurile originale. Reclama este mare :)

Love the history in silistra

За съжаление беше затворено този път като ходих там и не можах да направя снимки. Посещавал съм го и преди и бях доста впечатлен. Това е една от двете запазени крепости в оригиналният им вид в България.

Durustorum was a former Roman fortress on the Danube banks. Later in Medieval Era was inhabited during the centuries and rebuild at certain times. Part of a great complex (both for defense and commercial meanings), the old city is now included in Silistra town, which is a very pretty and interesting place on the border between Romania and Bulgaria. So basically this place can be reached easily from both countries, being an ideal spot for one day break!

Прекрасно място за отдих! Чувстваш се много презареден след посещение на тази крепост. Тихо е, има прекрасна гледка към дунава и за горещите дни има шарена сянка с пейки.

Beautiful gem of Silistra

A scenic full-acess ancient ruin on the side of the beautiful Danube River. Around it is a well-maintained park for romantic walks and for any joggers looking for a unique view.

Cevdet Yıldız was here! 26721. Dedemin doğduğu şehir Silistre. Yıllardır ata diyarını görmek için hasretle yanıp tutuşuyordum. Çok şükür ilk kez görmek bugüne kısmet oldu. Türkiyeden gelip seni görmek çok güzeldi Silistre. Ayrılmak bir o kadar da zor oldu. Tuna Nehri boylarını özleyeceğim.

This is Silistra, my birthplace where ancient past meets the future. Durostorum and Drastar are some of the names of the city through the centuries. Nowadays there are a lot of archeological objects around and in the city, that are worthwhile to be visited. Remains of an old fortress are near to the river Danube and are well preserved, just to tell you a story about the glorious days pf the city.

Відомий нам тим що в 10-му сторіччі руський князь Святослав Хоробрий здався тут візантийському імператору Костянтину Багрянородному, і за договором відмовився від усіх захоплених в Болгарії земель.Зараз у квітучему міському парку на березі Дуная є живописі руїни давньої фортеці. Є 2 мечеті, якоісь кількості красивих будинків не помітив. Немає яскравої самобутної архітектура як у Румунії. Саме місто досить не охайне і заторможено у розвітку. Загалом Болгарія дуже поступається Румунії в розвітку інфраструктури, дорогами і, навіть, відсутностью якісної місцевої випічки.
