Dunnes Stores - Clothing Shop in Sligeach, Ireland
Great quality. Nice atmosphere. but price is a bit high compared to other suppliers
Great place to do the weekly shop, good choice of everyday foods, plenty of space and customer toilets are available.
Good Shop with quality items. Price would be in a higher side compared to the other shops. Now a days they have introduced cash back of 10 euros while shop for 50 euros grocery
Nice shop and friendly service
Good parking, good fresh meat and veg, Plenty of variety and money off vouchers what more could you ask for?
Problem getting €10 off €30 voucherVery helpful staff member 💯
Groceries, cold and hit food and clothes all are sold here.Ample parking space, several trolley bays and toilets for customers 😅Dunnes Stores offers a €10 voucher for each €50 , and €5 voucher for each €25.Vouchers are for next shop though, and have around 10 day’s limit also calculated just for groceries, not clothes or alcohol but since store has good range of groceries, you can manage to visit stores frequently to use the vouchers.Staff are friendly buy very busy in fairness.Recommend to download their app , it shows latest offers, saved points and available voice and their expiry time.Been their customers for 5 years now in different cities and always happy from what we get.
Friendly staff, good size car park
Good general grocery most brand names and own brand clothing high quality reasonable prices. No longer adequate butcher counter but prepackaged meat available.
Very bed experience with Danns. They are now deceiving costumers, on points earned and on club card too. All they offers are now very tactical deception.
Lovely and fresh usually good quality. I like the goods. However I bought dunnes strawberries on offer for 3 was charged 6. ...2 x reduced items 2.40 came up 4.99. Was in car backup the shop was 15 mins to rectify. So check your receipt and expect a long wait at customer services.
Great ..and lots variety stuff compare tesco ..
Lovely friendly staff, good prices and can depend on Christies to have anything your looking for.
Everything you need and more plus a very helpful guy on the till!
Clean and spacious with a good range of products and friendly and helpful staff!
Not the greatest selection but the staff are super friendly!
Exceptionally rude girl on till in clothing, Rachel. She shouldnt be dealing with customers.
Great selection very helpful staff lots of parking
Easy to get around...staff most helpful..
Great variety, wide comfortable aisles and very friendly staff. Nice coffee station at rear of shop too
The last three times I’ve been here and used the self check out there’s no one assigned to help. I’ve had to hunt someone down. I don’t understand this - there’s always someone assigned at Tesco. Really defeats the purpose of having self check out if you need someone to help (one time a greeting card didn’t registerand no one is there. They are not following COVID guidelines. There is a giant tent outside for people to wait to enter the store but without anyone counting customers no one waits. Went today (Sundayat 11 when google said it would be the least busy of the week and the place was absolutely packed with people. Queues of 4 customers at nearly every till to check out, aisles packed with people (PSA please don’t shop with your entire family during a pandemic people). I won’t be going back until the security guard is out again.
Very clean, well packed shelves, good food and very helpful staff.
Good selection o quality meat products plus general grocery very good. All at a reasonable price.
Great store the staff are very helpful. Its very clean and the food is always fresh.
Handy for a bit of shopping. Good selection, well priced and well organized.
Wouldnt shop anywhere else now, started going there shortly after my nephew was born as it was closer to my sisters house and its just a far nicer shopping experience - big wide aisles, great fresh selection, fantastic deli, friendly staff, amazing deals, especially on baby stuff; it has absolutely everything you want, clothes & shoes included! Also great selection of Irish produce. And now with COVID-19, the way they are handling restrictions is amazing, theyve a tent out front and all which was great when the weather was worse, and even now its lovely to have a bit of shade while waiting, which is never very long at all. Have done and will continue to recommend!
Went in there today to get some Christmas bits. Loads of Christmas stock, and a great selection. Place was very busy with people buying a lot of the decorations so be sure to get in quick before its gone.
This shop has gone way down in standards - today I queued for the checkouts for 20 minutes (longer than it took to actually pick up the bits I needed for my weekly shop). This has become a regular occurrence - more checkout staff needed. The shelves are also badly stocked some of the time.
My experience was very good with such a great variety of items all round the store
I visited Dunnes Stores in Cranmore Road, Sligo today. It is a short walking distance from Sligo town. It has a nice clothing section and food section. I do particularly like their food range.
My local Dunnes. Great value with the €10 off €50 deal. Clean and spacious with a good range of products and friendly and helpful staff. Lots of free parking both covered and uncovered add to the experience.
The last visit wasnt successful, but that wasnt the stores fault.couldnt try on clothing, due to Covid restrictions. But generally a good store for mid priced clothing.
Lovely find whilst driving around.Good foodstore with clothes too.My new shopping place when in Sligo.Difficult to walk out here without a parcel in your hand
Although clothing can now be purchased, the selection on offer is very limited. For example, t-shirts only available in black, white and navy. Most clothing seems to be bottom of the line workwear.
Very poor. Wanted to buy school uniform if you cant get what you want buy on line thats what I was told my member of staff today in sligo. Very disappointing
Most times its all good with dunnes stores but arrived over yesterday to get some shirts, polo tops, etc for the children for school now they are finally open again. Could not find any school uniform stuff and was told they werent being put out due to covid. Thats fine but I could buy flowers, chocolate, hair spray etc which to me is not as essential.
Really good range of products, great value and apart from one or two less pleasant staff members most are first rate
I came here during lockdown and accidentally stood in the line in which people with carts were standing and observed those who had come on their own enter ahead of everyone. On attempting to enter along side them the security guard (The security guard was bald and around 6”promptly told me I had to re-enter the queue and that I “hadn’t seen anything”. Once I tried to go back to my previous position in the queue and had asked the other patrons if that was ok he approached me and said “no pal you have to go to the end of the queue”. I’ve never had an unwarranted interaction like this before as I’ve been coming here for over 12 years but this really struck an unnecessary cord with me as I have been treated thusly throughout lockdown due to my young age.
Just dropped in for a few groceries today. Layout changed completely as clothing apart from essential ie, underwear, pyjamas, socks, towels etc are all taped off, unable to purchase. If you need any other clothing Click&Collect. Entrance has an extended weather coverage in case of queueing and hand sanitising station. Staff as always very helpful and efficient.
I shop in Dunnes weekly as I feel its the saftest shop in Sligo during this pandemic. Would be 5 stars if all the staff were like Aoife & Shaunna Only go to the self service tills or the lotto counter when I see either of them are on them they are very helpful & friendly. The other women are very slow fixing the problems on the express tills.(which happens a lot Also, the female manager with the glasses i didnt get get name is very helpful, helped me find a wine just by me describing the label.Great work Dunnes
My favourite shopping centre...great staff, lovely security, never busy and amazing quality meats and produce.. and more local to ireland then any other shop :)
I wouldnt recommend this supermarket to anybody in the future unless they are desperate. I was publicly disgraced by the door man today who addressed me in a very hostile manner to put on a face mask only to interrupt me abruptly in the same tone as I tried to explain that I cant due to chronic illness. An absolute disgrace on managements part. I left the carpark in tears.
Great steps taken to protect us all from Covid infection. Staff always pleasant & extremely helpful. I like their €10 voucher for every €50 spent.
1. Creepy security men with no self awareness who arent educated in law.2. Self-service machines are damaged and nearly always require assistance.3. Horribly toxic perfume in their front door hand sanitizer dispenser DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES.
I was a frequent shopper there for years and after my recent bad experiences I will never step foot in there again. Never felt so uncomfortable and criminalised ever for no giving reason in a shop than the recent months by some vindictive creep of a security guard and I have friends, mostly female, who had similar stories about this smurf of a man. Word of advise, sort your staff out or the whole place will be boycotted. Nobody wants to feel preyed on shopping for a litre of milk. Its an absolute disgrace. Not only that, if theres an issue with scales at self service, be prepared wait for 5 minutes and to feel like an absolute inconvenience because the staff will certainly will make you feel that way.
I was in the Grocery section, which must be accessed through the Drapery. Good selection, spacious. Ample parking space outside. Very little room at checkout for food stuff to be left as purchasers going through.
Poor service, wanted school uniform but none on display and in storage. Apparently children stop growing in the winter months and told to order online. So Dunnes has lost a customer for the foreseeable future.
Could do with more food variety, but a still decent place to do the grocery shopping. Pet food section is terrible and badly needs more brands. If you shop on a Sunday all the oulds ones going to mass will park in the mother/child spots then walk across to mass and pray for forgiveness for taking the parking places.
Good parking and a good selection. You will never get strange ingredients for a funky curry here but traditional items are abundant. Loads of checkouts but like most places very few open. Its a higher price point so we only get what what we cant get anywhere else. Top quality veg and lovely fresh cooked breads.
Very good but you would just end up buying nearly the whole store. I find it really good because you can get exactly what youre looking for and more but I am giving it 4 stars because the cafe that was up stairs is gone.
