Was fun to finally check this out in person.Following maps, it took us to a rocky trail on top of the mountain, when went back into town and asked at the servo for directions for the easy walk and found it!!The easy walk is very easy.Open for walkers, cyclists and horseback riders.Definitely good for young families.

There was a road closed due to construction, and Google maps rerouted us twice to roads that were no longer there, or were private property. Very hard to find. Ended up finding an entrance and walking 5 minutes to the tunnel. Tunnel was cool though.

Good little day trip suited for young families and young mountain bikers. Relatively flat trail with a steep one for the tunnel bypass. Not many points of interest marked on the trail about the history of the tracks other than the map at the front but a peaceful walk nonetheless 😌

We absolutely loved the walk through this park. ☺️ We only walked the tunnel path but so worth it once reaching the tunnel. Was a great walk with our kids ages 15, 12, 10, 4 & 1. Great family walk and signage was great so easily able to navigate through to your destination & back to your car. πŸ‘Œ Highly recommended this one for any family. 😁

The Railway Tunnel is a worthwhile walk, the little Dularcha NP was originally for transiting rail passengers to view natural forest whilst in transit to Gympie and beyond.

We came in from the Landsborough entrance and enjoyed the 25 min walk to the tunnel. The kids really enjoyed the walk and the excitement of the train tracks nearby hoping for a train to come past. The tunnel was good for the younger kids as its short enough that you can just see the light of the exit from the entrance. Worth taking a torch.

Its a nice spot. Looks like quite a few horses use it. I didnt see any caves in the tunnel. Could be a bit better sign posted if you take the connection track after going through the tunnel. The tunnel is a bit uneven on the ground. Point your phone light to see.

This is one of those places that you really want to rave about but...at the same time you want to keep it to yourself for fear that it will be spoilt if hordes of visitors descend upon it. Spectacular views, sealed parking spaces, super-clean amenities blocks, clean picnic tables with fixed bench seats and a number of well-maintained steel barbecues support amazing designated walks (or runs for the extra keenplus a small rotunda indicating all the key points of interest ie. the various Glasshouse Mountains and other significant features. I would thoroughly recommend planning a morning tea, picnic lunch or afternoon tea after climbing beautiful Mt Ngungun.

A little hard to find with Google maps, but got there in the end. Rail trail is pretty rough at the moment, likely due to the weather, but still a good ride. Manageable by the kids on 20" bikes, but a bit too rough for the 16"s.

Unique part of Sunshine Coast history. The old railway tunnel is a definite highlight, abandoned from the original rail line built north. Heaps to see and a variety of terrains. Would recommend

I wouldnt say it is a destination for a day trip, however it is a nice couplr of hours walk along the old railway track. There are also a few other walking tracks either side too. The tunnel is impressive considering how and when it was built. It can be muddy after rain, so take boots

I love this place. Been there 3 times and will go again. The tunnel is an interesting bit of our history and the walk to it from either end is easy going. The longer walk - Roses Circuit - is one of my favourites. The western section beyond Gully Track is the steepest/hardest bit and Myla Track is also a bit challenging. Have a go at the whole lot if you reckon your fitness is up to it (not overly difficult but not recommended for couch potatoesor cut across Gully Track or Ridge Track for shorter, less steep options.

This was such a great place my 4yrs and 7yrs loved it. Its estimated a little over 2kms walk there and we got to see 3 trains go past on the way yes new one but still was a good talking point on how different trains are from back then to now

A group of five did the β€œRosies walk” on Friday, we walk at different paces and just naturally separated into two groups - both groups got lost, took wrong turns and one woman was seriously injured due to taking a wrong track due to the lack of signage at intersections. We are experienced treckers having done 5 and 6 days tracks in NZ so was not from lack of experience. Someone seriously needs to get out there and improve this. Just starting at a sign and an arrow from tunnel track to go up the hill, not through the tunnel would be a great start and work your way from there

We visited the old tunnel. Its not a long walk from the Mooloola end. Just 15 or 20 minutes in. And you get to see Mooloola which is a lovely little village.

Early morning walk Myla track and Rose circuit in the drizzle. Nobody around, very peaceful. Fair amount of hill work on this circuit. Track a bit slippery in places. A lovely part of the Sunshine Coast.

The tunnel track is nice and wide, plenty of room to walk or ride. I would say there is more parking at the South entrance. Also there are no toilets

We did a 9 km loop in about 2 hours beside the rail track, through the tunnel, back around and up the roses track then onwards to the top. Nice views, a few horses, enjoyed the hike.

Great easy walk. Plenty of parking. If you walk North to South, you can go an extra 1.2km and grab some lunch in Landsborough.Bring your bikes if you like, although the walk will be very quick. No dogs allowed

Great tracks for Mountain Biking or bushwalking at Dularch NP. Plenty of parking space as well. Have completed 3 of the trails on my Hardtail Mountain Bike and will try Roses trail soon but will start from the Mooloolah Valley end so its downhill more, lol.

Dularcha National Park is a small bit of bushland in between the townships of Mooloolah and Landsborough. There is a parking area at both sides and you can walk/ride from one to the other. The main trail runs parallel to the current railway line and you can see evidence where the old train line was including an old tunnel you can walk through.

A really great place with some rich history to learn about. I would recommend taking walking shoes that you dont mind getting dirty if its been raining recently. I saw some horses while on the track, some were part of a horse guided walk but there were also what I think were wild horses. I am scared of horses but they seemed friendly enough.

Reasonably flat track from Landaborough via tunnel to Mooloolah but a great bike ride. Lots of shade and easy for kids to achieve this ride, bonus is riding through the tunnel which has a micro bat colony roosting so bring a torch.

The highlight is the old railway tunnel. Otherwise it is just an average walk through the bush. Or less than aversge for the section that runs nect to the railway line. Signage is pretty poor. Nevertheless, i i enjoyed stretching my legs and it is obviously well used judging by the number of people ee passed.
