Modern Irish tavern offering upgraded pub fare & an ample selection of whiskey & beer, plus darts.
Staff is always on point. Quick with the service, knowledgeable about menus, and friendly. Drinks are made well and the food is great. If you like a small Americanized pub experience then you will not be disappointed.
I ordered the Dugans Sampler. It was delicious. Fried pickles, onion rings, and chicken strips. More than enough to feed 2. It was absolutely the best food and atmosphere Ive experienced since Ive been in town. Service was just as great. If youre thinking about visiting, you definitely should.👍🏻😁🤤👌🏻
Tori was a very sweet waitress. Very courteous as well. This was a nice lil restaurant/pub on the corner.
Hubby had bangers and mash. A lot of food! He loved it. I had steak sandwich. Very yummy. We were both stuffed. Service was great.
Great food and atmosphere!!! We started with fried pickles and drinks. Really hit the spot. Then we had salads with salmon. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and the salmon was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Good time!
Good music on Friday night, amazing corned beef! Overall great atmosphere. The staff was awesome and friendly. My only complaint was the veggies with the corned beef were bland and heavily seasoned with pepper to make up for it. The farmhouse was also amazing! We had the sampler platter l would recommend the pickles and the mozzarella sticks for sure! Would definitely come her again!
Great atmosphere and location, friendly staff and tasty food! Eat inside or out on the patio. Fish and chips were great and beautifully presented! Irish protein app was yummy too!
The waitresses was awesome,The vibe was just right for an Irish pub experience.Everyone ordered different things in our party of 6.The steak and brussel sprouts were fantastic taste wise. The steak cut is different than what Im used to, yet full of chef prepped flavors.Highly recommend the brussel sprouts...most meltable mouth watering flavor.Side salad was huge. Friendly with service animals, great energy all around.
All I can say ... CHEESE STICKS AND ONION RINGS AND REUBENS AND STAKE SANDWICHES AND BURGERS!!!Did I mention the cheese sticks?!?!?! The best I have ever had!
Home of the GIANT beer battered mozzarella sticks (more like LOGS). We took the kids here and we were not disappointed
My mom and I love coming here to eat every now and then. Lovely spot with delicious food and kind people! I would also love to know how I can play here sometime as a musician in LR!
We loved this place! We found it on Bring Fido because we were passing through the city with my two dogs. They were friendly and brought water bowls out immediately for my dogs. The service was awesome, the food portions were big, and it tasted delicious. Drinks were delicious as well.
This place is always good to come to for lunch. The specials are on the back of the menu. The strings were sweet, so if you are not into sweet string beans this might be the special for you. It’s served on Thursday. The owner walks around the pub and checks on you and the food quality.
An Old Nostalgia Irish Pub thats kid friendly. There mozzarella sticks are HUGE. Fish and chips are Fantastic and the Portobello Mushroom sandwich was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.
Great pub that was kids friendly. Really enjoyed my Dublin Iced Tea after a long drive with my grandchildren and an overbooked scenario at my Marriott hotel that sent me to a Hilton hotel. I enjoyed the Pork Chops, while the grandkids enjoyed the Chicken Strips and a Burger. They loved the Beer Battered Mozzarella Sticks (they are huge). I was not a huge fan of the Brussel Sprouts as they were too sweet.
The live music was really loud, had to sit outside. The food was okay. The server was fantastic considering management has her the only person working the floor.
The vibe is cool and I enjoyed watching the basketball game from my table. My server was really good, but the staff pretty much ignored me until I got settled. They dont seem to see folks from out of town.
Bad service, good food: My wife and I stopped in because the food looked good. Ordered the stew, salad, and onion rings. The salad was good. She liked the ranch dressing. The stew was really good. Maybe a little too much pepper but still good. The onion rings were a little over done and didnt have much flavor. The were OK with the dipping sauce. The issue we had was with the service. Our server, Trey, spent most of his time talking. The initial service was good, got drinks pretty quick and our order. After the food was delivered, service dropped. My water and drink were gone but we didnt see him. I switched to my wifes water at that point. Trey did a walk by at one point saying something like are you good. By then we were about done. Shortly after that, we stacked our dishes and waited, and waited. We saw trey in the kitchen talking. He then walked right past us. We holard at him to get his attention so we could get our check. He walked back, grabbed the check, then set it down at our table and said he would be right back. My wife was holding the credit card, but he didnt notice. He then walked to a table behind us and started talking. We assuming they were regulars. That went on for a few minutes, then he walked back to the kitchen area and talked some more. Finally he noticed my wife staring him down. He stopped talking and came back to grab the check. We did like the food so I guess the next time we are there we will eat at the bar.
I went in tonite not busy at all sit down was there least 20 25 min ,then lady comes over said kitchen is closed bad business lady was over there talking to everyone saw us 10x never came over I had go get dude from outside to get someone and I eat there all the time guess not no more. Jesus
I went specifically for onion rings. They were undercooked. The burger bun was cheap and fell apart while I was eating. Nothing else memorable about the meal. I never got a refill on my water.
service was great. But. Food was no good. Ordered a tequila sunrise, dont know what the nasty liquid they brought me but was more like yesterdays dish water
We came to the St. Patricks day parade and stopped by Dugans Pub after for dinner. This place is great. It was super packed due to the parade but we finally got a table, had the Irish Chips and fried pickles for appetizers and oh boy were they amazing. We had 5 adults that split and was full. We then order the banger and mashed and the Shepard pie. Needless to say we had to get to go boxes. Would recommend to anyone to eat here. We would give 10 stars if we xouldSecond trip for my brothers birthday 5-27-22 was even better. Full menu available. Triple decker club, corn beef and cabbage, beef stews, Nachos, cheese fries, fried pickles. We had a party of 12. Only complaint is it took forever for them to bring my dish(fish and chipsby the time I got it everyone else was done and putting in Togo boxes.
Pretty good Cottage Pie. It says Shepherd’s Pie on the menu, but it’s not. Still, it’s good. The house made Irish bread is good, too. Guinness and Smithwick’s on tap, but no Harp. All in all, a nice Irish Pub.
Loved the atmosphere of the environment. Most of the food is great but the cod in the fish and chips order was plain. Good presentation.
We ate at this restaurant 5/12/22 and were not happy with our food or the waitress who took our order. The bartender was good. We sat at the bar next to the kitchen and I was very disgusted at what I saw the waitress do. She was at the windows where food is passed from the cooks and blew her nose and did not wash her hands. She did rub her hands on a towel that they clean their area with. We will not be back. My husband had been wanting to eat here.
We were waited on within the first two minutes of sitting down. Our waitress was extra friendly, polite, fast, and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. The food was on the table within ten minutes with everything prepared exactly to order and still good and hot. And had enough for a second meal. We paid about half what weve paid at several other Little Rock restaurants where we ended up leaving after barely started on the meal simply because the food wasnt palatable.Dugans Pub is certainly worthy of praise from anyone wanting a great meal or a couple drinks in a comfortable, ultra- friendly environment.
Pretty sure the poutine was from the day before but the bartender was very nice. We asked about the hours and were told that last call was at 9:30pm. Since it was across from our hotel, we decided to go get a drink at 9 that night. Nope....doors locked. ???? Seriously???
What a great place to visit during our travels, bartenders rock, friendly and welcoming. Food was really good, I had a BLT and my wife had the corn beef & cabbage, of course we had beers love when Smithwicks is on tap. Had fun telling jokes with other happy customers, defiantly would come back here when we pass through here again.
Very strange place. Went in during the sweet 16 and asked if they were going to have the games on. Their first game reply was "what games". They were even hosting the KU alumni watch party. The music they were playing in the background was straight out of a 70s elevator. It would put anyone to sleep. Mentioned it and the waitress said that the bar tender loved this music and wouldnt change it. Yawn.Got the chips and queso. Not good at all. Looked at what others were having, mainly sandwiches, and passed on eating there.
Food was so good , the cheese dip was better then expected , the mozzarella sticks, the fried pickles everything cooked to perfection , dogs welcome in outside area! The fried pickles didn’t come out greasy , they all had a good amount of pickle in each slice, I am in love 😩
One of the best bartenders that I have experienced in a long time! She new all of the regulars by name and what they drank and treated all of the people that were in town on business as if they were also regulars! I wish I could remember her name. Also their food is good. We accidentally got the Irish stew instead of the shepherds pie, (it was deliciousand we were not going to say a word -and our bartender walked by and noticed. She apologized and corrected the problem with out us even mentioning it. If we are back in Little Rock we will be stopping back by. Nothing pretentious, just good service and good food.
Our party of four (2 adults, 2 children), were so happy with the service, our selections, and the location. We enjoyed sitting by the window next to the sidewalk and watching the passersby while we drank a pint and waited for our meal. The portions were big, so bring your appetite or scale back your order. We shared a fish and chips, kids chicken tender and fries basket, and kids macaroni and cheese. Im not usually a big fan of letting my kiddos order mac & cheese at a restaurant, but this was no boxed meal with powdered cheese...it was lovely! We all fought over bites until it was gone. So if you have a kiddo, use them as an excuse to indulge. You deserve it. We enjoyed our meal immensely, and spent less than $40 after tip on our food and 2 pints. Score!
Black apple on tap, friendly bar service and pretty surprisingly decent food.Seating is pretty limited, but even though it was super busy, we sat at the bar and service was friendly and quick. The Reuben was good, I would have preferred it with Russian dressing, it was still great! Fries were also a high point, next time I’d definitely get a plate of just those!I’d certainly go back again!
Came with a colleague it was pretty great atmosphere. I really enjoyed the drinks nice and stiff. The fried jalapeños were the star. I ordered a black and blue burger with onion rings it was a mammoth. Yes I recommend. It was great, service was top notch.
The food is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend ordering traditional Irish pub fare, the corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, doesnt matter its all delicious
I had the grilled chicken club, which was delicious! I want a big fan of the fries since I usually like them a little more crispy. The staff was very friendly and they get 5 stars.
Some of the best fish and chips Ive had outside of Ireland 🇮🇪Tasty food, excellent service and suggestions, and a perfect coffee to start the day.
We ate there last night and it was delicious!! The portion sizes are huge!!! The mozzarella sticks are gigantic!!
Fantastic restaurant. Nice style and connected to a great little shop/liquor store. Service was prompt and professional. My burger was cooked well but came out kind of bland. The cheese sticks have fantastic breading but are a little thick for my liking. My wife had an AMAZING Reuben sandwich. All in all great date night stop.
Seems like a nice place. Definitely a great location. Food was good, but service was terrible. They were NOT busy and we had to wait over ten minutes for three beers. We then ordered chips and cheese and it took over twenty minutes to get the order. The chips were like from the bottom of a bag, all broken up. Entrees were good.
Been a while since Ive been here. Always had a great experience. Great food. Mac and cheese is amazing!
I loved it. Their cheese sticks were massive. My wife got the corned beef hash and said it was a bit dry so thats the only reason why its not 5 stars. Defiantly a good environment.
Rhoda was great (Bartender). First time here. Live band. Sat at bar. Had a few drinks, enjoyed the LIVE music. Will try the Darts board next time. Bit of a drive, but well worth it to enjoy an evening with a friend. Outdoor seating available to smoke or to just enjoy people watching.2nd Visit...Had the Fish & Chips with a friend. Great lunch spot on a rainy day. Plenty of staff to make sure your needs are met. Bring your own darts if darts is your thing. Market next door connected by an inside door with fresh produce and Hard Liqour Sales. Outside seating to enjoy the weather. Met the owner, Mr. Dugan. Very nice, down to earth guy who visits with guests and calls them by name. Worth a stop to enjoy friends and food.
Forget Popeyes this chicken sandwich here has been slept on it is twice the size and twice the nice! Worth every penny!
Great experience. Waiter was attentive, efficient and engaging. As I was in the south, for lunch I ordered the special, which was spicy gumbo with shrimp, scallops, sausages and chicken. It was spicy goodness. I was full halfway through but did not want to leave any food on my plate. Yes, shameless. A beastly cold diet coke on the side was heavenly. Enjoyed every piece until the last rice grain. First time at the pub, aesthetics were as expected. Cant speak to after hours experience, but, lunch was worth it.
So......... actually had a great experience at the restaurant. I am now 1.5 hours into my wife projectile puking at our hotel. And considering a trip to the emergency room. I am fine. And the only thing she had that I did not was the salad. Steer clear! Obviously issues in the kitchen. Cleanliness, something. Beer might be cold, servers might be nice but damn....definitely got issues with cross contamination! Will never darken the door step of this establishment again!!!! Homewood Suites I hope you will take this place off of your recommended places to visit!
Nice lil pub. I had the creamy potato soup which was good and had chunks of potatoes in it. Hit the spot. Had the grilled salmon with brussel sprouts which took some time to come out but was worth the wait. Good food and service with some karaoke made for a good night
Holy smokes get the cheese sticks!!! A friend and I came to little rock for the "little rock marathon" we were starving and wanted to try something the locals ate. We read reviews from friends and others and decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere was fun. They had a pub crawl the same day so it was quite entertaining. The waitress was very friendly and on top of everything. We both had the mushroom and Swiss burger and fries along with the bragged in cheese sticks.First off, those cheese sticks were so light and fluffy it was like fairys came and toasted the cheese blowing it up with such amazing goodness it literally melted I your mouth with a light crisp taste of goodness. The burger was very fresh and full beef. The cow must have been very happy cause that was the happiest burger Ive eaten in a long time. The fries were definitely cut from a fresh potato and had the same beer batter the cheese sticks had but it wasnt really Bragg worthy. This place I definitely worth trying even if just for the cheese sticks. They have a blue and black burger if you like blue cheese you better try that.
Well the appetizer (fried pickleswas really tasty. However, after this came out we proceeded to wait for an entree salad and a sandwich for over an hour. Waitress said the kitchen was behind because of a larger party they were trying to serve. Okay, so you’re busy. But to wait for more than hour for a sandwich and a salad... unacceptable. And they have no hostess to seat you. It’s fend for yourself.
Came here to Watch soccer. This is supposwd ti be a soccer bar where you can watch the USA play. Could barley hear it. This is supposed to be a soccer bar. Ordered cornbeef and hash. I receieved hash, aka patatoes soaked in grease. Absolutely horrible. The only bright spot was the watress. She was awesome.
