Dublin Irish Restaurant & Pub - Irish pub in Uzhhorod, Ukraine
Dublin Irish Restaurant & Pub in Uzhhorod
Description
Great aftershow evening at Brannigans Irish pub. We had some fingerfood for dinner and a couple of Guinness. The live music brings the special flair of an Irish pub. Very nice atmosphere!
MoreGreat Irish pub, great food and great service.
Great Irish food, tasty pints of Cream.Staff are always very professional and sound
MoreGreat pub. Really good food. Came back two nights in a row for the peppercorn chicken and sweet potato chips.Good service and everyone is friendly.
MoreGood food and good service. The menu was good with a decent variety. The seating is limited and they have low stools not chairs.
MoreDelish! Great spot for a little taste of home AND some great Irish dishes. We ordered the spicy beef nachos & 2 stews!
MoreThe impressive part of the upstairs area is that there was only one employee taking orders, serving and clearing tables, all while sporting a friendly smile. However as a tourist, I noticed that the pub lacked an Irish spirit /ambiance and looked a bit shabby. My Chowder was fine but my wifes Lamb Stew had nary a piece of meat in it. We pointed this out to the server and she removed the Stew from the bill. All in all, it was a bit of a disappointment.
MoreNice food and €6 a pint! Unheard of price in the city of Dublin these days. Recommended to me by a friend, and Im glad I called in.Defo 5 stars in the heart of townRecommended 😁👍👍👍👍👍
MoreWe were well received but the service during our dinner was less inspired. We sat in a table upstairs which is a nice space, quieter than the downstairs. The chicken wings starter was good, but the rest of our meal was barely average. The lamb stew had very little lamb and some flavourless boiled potatoes were added as filler in the broth (in addition to the mash potato which was supposed to be there). The shepherdless pie was the worse, everything seemed to have been cooked separately and the "selection of vegetables" was a just some boiled, probably frozen, vegetables thrown together.
MoreHad dinner twice it is so good there ,you will not leave hungry ,lovely staff will visit again when in Dublin
MoreFriendly staff and good food. The upstairs dining area was very cozy and much quieter than the downstairs.Try the Bailey’s Irish Cream Cheesecake. It’s so good.
MoreDelicious Irish food and great drinks on tap.
Went there for my first pub experience in ireland. I was happy to see locals here. We had the chowder first then I had the fish and chips and my wife had the lamb stew. I also took a guiness with it. Everything had really good taste but the chowder and the stew were warm at best. If it had been hotter, this would have been a 5 star.
MoreGreat little spot. Good food. Nice pint 🍺
We really enjoyed this place! The service was great, the ambience is exactly what you would want in an Irish pub, and the food was fantastic!! I also liked it because it was packed with tourists.
MoreAmazing food, great pint of Guinness!
Nice place. Service was fine, quick. The portions and price were good but the food didnt agree with me, my stomach was not doing well on my way home. My visit was in May 2022.
MoreDelicious appetizer (wings), decent prices, unfortunately, poor service even though it wasnt crowded or busy at the time we were there. I was given the incorrect main course meal and by the time I received what was initially ordered, I no longer had an appetite. I would still recommend, maybe the worker was having a bad day!
MoreCool Irish pub. The food was tasty but the service wasnt great even when the pub was not packed. The waitress made a mistake with the order and insisted that was what we ordered. If the service was better, I would probably go back.
MoreWe had a great time at Brannigans. We sat in the upstairs bar which is like a little restaurant of its own. The bartenders were out servers and they were extremely attentive and helpful. I finally had my pint of Guinness in Ireland, as well as a smooth irish whiskey and a delicious irish coffee. I had a lamb stew that was tender and rich. It was a great experience.
MoreReally good food (had the best chicken burger ever! 👍)Nice staff, atmosphere wonderful. I will definitely come back!
MoreGreat Irish Stew. Very friendly staff. Vegetarian options also available. All in all a nice experience and a great round up for our Ireland trip!
MoreBrannigans was a great experience. They dont take walk-ins but knew we were coming in from a countryside tour and so worked hard to accommodate us. From the service to the food to the atmosphere the experience was amazing. The Beef and Guiness casserole was rich and flavorful. The service was exceptional and the bartender serving us was slammed but you would bever have known it with how attentive he was to us. I would definitely recommend Brannigans.
MoreLoved it! Found it by luck and google-searchingfor eating places with reasonable reviews.Booked a day in advance. Very welcoming. The pub has lots of character, especially with the diving stuff.Nice selection of beers/ales and food was lovely.I went for the chowder for starters and a lamb stew. Great! Service great too.
MoreSolid Irish pub experience. We stopped in for dinner and a Guinness. Staff was super friendly. Fish and chips plus the Irish beef stew were both really good. Would recommend, especially if you’re staying in the center of town.
MoreVery friendly, well kept beer and the food is value for money but the great plus point is the local people, very friendly and have more then a story to tell. You must try the Seafood chowder, its to die for........
MoreVery nice pub with great service. Very good seafood chowder and Irish stew with excellent ambiance and awesome Guinness.
MoreGreat food. The casserole with Guinness was particularly great. Definitely would recommend and go back.
MorePossibly the best veggie burger I have ever had and definitely the best sweet potato fries ever.It was a fantastic place to eat, only spoiled by the fact that I had to travel hundreds of miles from England to get there. If I lived closer, I think this could become my regular...
MoreOur first dinner in Dublin. I got the beef stew, while my wife went with traditional fish and chips. She also got the seafood soup. All were very good!
MoreFood was really good. The pub is charming and has a decent mix of locals and tourists. Its a good spot to get away from tourist crowds.
MoreThe best seafood chowder soup I had in Dublin!
I dont know where everyone gets these "great meals" I read about in other reviews from since we didnt get those.I had salmon with bread, which was more bread than salmon so I didnt taste the salmon at all. The bread was also very dry. My partner had chicken strips which were probably coated in crumbs made from the same bread as that was incredibly dry as well. For a main I had scampi and fries. The batter around the scampi was so thick, it (againwas more batter than scampi. The scampi wasnt even a whole crustacean, it was some sort of cut off. If I had to guess Id say they were frozen bits.My partners second chicken dish was a bit better than the first. At least the chicken wasnt dry. But the mashed potatoes certainly were. For a country posting about their butter everywhere, heres a tip to this pub. Put that butter in your mashed potatoes. At the 1st dish I thought maybe the chef was having an bad day, because all of these good reviews didnt stack up with what we were experiencing. But the main wasnt making it any better. But! The staff was very friendly, so thats why I didnt rate this place 1 star.
MoreI came here for lunch after reading the reviews and I was glad that I did. The food was so good and reasonable prices, and the service was wonderful. Highly recommended if you are in the area. I will be back before returning to the US later this month. Great place.
MoreGood food and great service. We ate upstairs and there was one server! He made drinks, took orders, delivered and cleared tables. It was amazing how well he handled it all, he even heated a baby bottle! The fried fish was a generous portion with plenty of chips. While my definition of a casserole is very different the Guinness and beef casserole was very good. If youre not full try the Baileys cheesecake!
MoreLovely food, good service and good price. Whats there not to like?
Great food and great service. It’s cosy but such lovely atmosphere. We shared the seafood chowder for starter which was hands down best chowder I’ve had. I followed with the Irish lamb stew which had lovely meat and my boyfriend had the peppercorn chicken which he said was very juicy. Lovely waiter who was rushed off his feet but still made time to have a conversation with us. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Dublin, especially if they want a hearty meal without breaking the bank. Thank you all at Brannigans.
MoreVery lovely staff, the soup and pie we had was yummy.
nice meal.great staffnice environment
We came here over the weekend and had a sensational lamb stew, the picture doesn’t do it justice. Packed with flavour and a hearty portion. Excellent service
MoreNice pub on the quiet side of Dublin. Not as busy as expected for 2PM on St Pattys Day in Downtown Dublin. We were able to get a table.Drinks were the usual Irish fair, Guiness, Irish Red, ETC.Food was good. Sandwiches, fish n chips, soups. We had soup.Nice staff. Good layout.
MoreTasty food,great spot for a pint.Lovely service!❤️Stew
Great spot for good food and a pint. Found it coincidentally while trying to escape the weather. Dublin is a charming city but in December you will need a place just like this 👍 My husband and I shared some of the delicious sandwiches. Very attentive staff. I can highly recommend this place.
MoreExcellent food and Guinness lovely atmosphere, a real cosy traditional Irish pub with great staff
MoreGreat place for a quick bite to eat especially for Fish n Chips and the like...Very friendly service and excellent prices.
MoreNice place, which wasnt too busy in the lunch hours on a Saturday. Traditional Irish food. The seafood chowder was delicious!
MoreA great pub with good vibes. I had chicken wings and seafood chowder for appetizers. They were both delicious. Then lamb shank for entre. The meat was well cooked and adequately seasoned. I had a great time. Plus the taxi stand was right next to the restaurant which made getting back to the hotel easier.
MoreGreat little Irish pub. Food excellent, traditional home cooked, big portions really filling and hearty. We had lamb stew (€13.95and lamb shank (€14.95). Service was great, relaxed and welcoming. Guinness was good. Would recommend and return without hesitation.
MoreI had the Irish Stew. My wife had the Salmon and my Granddaughter had the Beef and Guinness Casserole. All were excellent. Service was excellent. Not far off O Connell St. Great place to stop in.
MoreBrannigans is a picturesque little-ish bar, located in a close proximity of the heart of Dublin. The atmosphere has this warm, welcoming feeling that made me feel like at a familiar place, yet being somewhere unknown. The staff was really friendly, like an ol pal of mine. We ordered a burger and a salad, which both were exceptional to me. Wouldnt miss out.
