Very friendly staff, and good food.

The eisbein was dry and more fat than meat, the pizzas are not even good. Definitely would not recommend

Steaks, pizza, calamari and hake. All enjoyed their meals.Desert was not as tasty and the brownies were still frozen and rock hard!

So far the best steak we had in a while. Friendly waiter. Play area neat and tidy. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful restaurant, welcoming staff,great food selection, food well prepared and on time. Was intrigued by the wine bottle ceiling which is amazing. Ample parking space and conveniently located close to supermarket in case you also want to do your shopping.

The friendliness and client-orientated attention to hospitality by Bridget, the waitress to my table is worth a return visit. The food, drinks and follow-ups showed reflected true hospitality. Well done. True hostess.

Dont order from them via the food apps on Sundays. You will most definitely get the wrong stuff and old leftovers.

Underwhelming food and lots of incorrections on our tables orders. Food arrived cold and some of us had finished eating by the time others got their meals (at least 30 minutes late). This Dros used to be nice 2 years ago but its gone very downhill in terms of quality every time I have been recently. I wont be going back in a hurry.

Be sure to try their Eisbein, its one of their famous dishes on the menu.

Quite disappointed today... my almost 2 year old received undercooked chicken nuggets, which only arrived after we had to ask and after all the mains had been served. This was obviously returned and was only received cooked after all the mains were consumed... which means a very hungry toddler. We are still waiting for the mash that was supposed to come with the two eisbeins, even after asking for it many times... Not the waiter nor the the bartender was able to tell my husband which brandy they serve.The only positive was the two very friendly and helpful ladies working in the kiddies section. Thank you for their smiles and care.

Very seldom are we disappointed here.The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the service is excellent.The food is well priced and the quality is generally good, once in a while we get a tougher than average steak but thats quickly addressed by the server.Theres a lovely outdoor beer garden with a very safe play area for the kiddies.There plenty of free safe parking with easy access.Well be back for sure.

Now if you ever wanted value for money. This is without a doubt some of SAs hidden gems.The food was incredible. Fresh and well prepared.The staff also are very professional.Facilities as very good and situated in a great area. Ample parking.You will not be disappointed.

There used to be a Dros a bit further away from this one, I always thought it was strange that they closed, but this one is like a hidden gem. It has a great atmosphere, very welcoming to small and large groups alike, great bar, and a nice outside space that isnt too windy.

Service was absolutely excellent. The service was friendly and had an amazing experience thanks to our waiter. We have ordered ribs and steak combo, crumber chicken burger and chips, and a calamari and steak combo our meat was perfectly grilled and the food was fresh. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Nice steak and warm atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars if the menu options on hot drinks were more broad spectrum with more choices as well as a choice of almond and oatsmilk. Currently no choice for almond or oatsmilk.

Loved the cheese and mushroom steak. The customer service was impressive. Also, their prices are reasonable. I enjoyed both the restaurant and bar sections. Oh the bar section is well ventilated and spacious. Kyle is an awesome conversationalist. Will definitely go back.

Food was great as always but it seems like service is slipping. Waiting times on food and drinks are crazy, maybe it was just a bad night, but use to great service and food at this restaurant even if they are crazy busy or quiet. Edit to post is a must!😁 was contacted by the manager and they said they will have a look into the service. They will definitely see me again. I will keep you all updated on my next visit.

Well, this place is amazing and our waitress Suri was on top of her game from the time we arrived, her warm welcoming, helping us choose a table since Im allergic to smoke and her outstanding service throughout. Im only giving the 4 starts because I wasnt happy with the quality of Eisben. It turned out to be salty and soggy. I expected the crunchiness but its not something that would deter me from visiting again. Suri you are amazing 🤗.

I ordered Mr D last night from this restaurant, 200gram steak medium to rare, the steak was perfect and the chips where also delicious, I have to say it really was the best takeaways ive had in a very long time. Delicious, thank you.

Havent been to dros in years, friendly staff efficient service, however quality of food is not what I remember. on valentines day we thought we could walk iin, got to door, when your team leader realised we never had a booking, they had already made provision your team made effort to accommodate myself and my family, your service was awesome fast and efficientmy husband ordered eisbine he saw special advertised on table which coincidently was your Monday special, I ordered mushroom burger, got cheese burger instead, the sauce wasnt good, ate chips which tasted as if it was slightly freezer burnt, dry inside, luckily it was small portion, didnt eat burger, again I need to mention that manager did bring me mushroom sauce however it was too late, cheese sauce was not good, my husband ordered a Windhoek draft , he recieved it in a castle draft glass, may seem irrelevant but sml detail like that is what sets you apart from your competitors....💡sml things countwhen we paid we realised we were charged a different amount, we didnt make a fuss because you have the right team in place, attitude is everything.When we had Dros in Cape gate, I spent my girls nights there, team building.. the food was what brought us bk and service which was bonus, as time went on, family took priority and girls night became fewer sadly... thsnk you Okavango dros for awesome service

Excellent service. Waitron was very attentive and rendered excellent service. Meal of the day was scrumptious and well presented, and affordable. Good to have notice that some restaurants still, besides abnormal conditions which is being adhered to, still try and deliver quality meals and service(at affordable prices).

Been there a few times and always get excellent service from friendly staff. The food is of outstanding quality and at good prices. A very inviting place to visit and you will always want to go back.

Terrible kitchen service, waited 2 hours for our food. I understood there is a backlog but 2 hours is a bit ridiculous. Like whats the point of fast food dining. We ordered burgers on there burger speacils night.As I type this, our food finally came.The meal was good, bacon and cheese burger....but also it would be.Our waiter was excellent though, no issue, was super friendly and apologetic about the wait. He gets a star for that.Would recommend them sorting the kitchen situation out.

Had dinner there this evening, service was atrocious. Waited 30 minutes to have our drinks order taken as well as food order. Waited almost 2 hours for food to served. They seriously need better management as well efficient kitchen staff. No patron should ever wait that long for their.

My first time ever going to eat at a pub. We went for their steak special. It was a very long wait as it seems that everyone went there for the special. When we were finally seated, it was another wait for the meal to arrive. But worth the wait. Only the portions were a bit small. Normally we would go home with doggy bags, but not this time. It was very busy there so the wait was acceptable. Only suggestion, is that the waiters keep the patrons updated when the food is delayed for longer than 20 mins. Just check in and see that your table is okay.

It was a friends gathering occasion. I was disappointed with my meal as I had ordered my rump steak being cooked medium. I initially noticed that it was almost cooked as ordered. But the rest of the meat was red and blood running from the meat. I asked that they cooked it a little more in order for me to try and enjoy my meal. This was not a pleasant experience and I will not be going back there very soon.

This was my first visit to Dros Okavango. Didnt know it was at this location. It was by chance that we came to visit this Dros.My number one Dros was always the one in Randburg JHB. Guess what, that has now changed. My number one Dros now is Okavango. Thank you guys for making my visit memorable. The waitrons was excellent and very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and very tasty. My girlfriend was very happy and complimented the beautiful atmosphere created by the staff and management at this venue. They were eager to receive criticism, and promised to improve whatever is needed to make our next visit very memorable. Hey guys 5 out of 5 from me.Regards,Keith Siljeur

We went to Dros, Okavango on the 5th of November 2020.We had the calamari, rice and chips combo followed by the cheese cake for dessert.Good alternatives in terms of the menu and also a good alcohol variety.Really nice atmosphere and Dros, Okovango also followed the COVID-19 safety checks by providing hand sanitiser, fever-checking as well as the necessary COVID-19 entrance form.The waiter provided excellent service and the food was really well-prepared.The area is also safe, and you can park close to the restaurant. There are car guards during the day-time as well.I can definitely recommend Dros, Okavango.

😀It was absolutely amazing! Carefree, family-orientated and the service was great. Our waiter constantly checked if we were ok and kept us informed on specials and Happy Hour. We completely lost track of time🤗💓

Very nice place. There is a section for smokers and play pen for children as well. The ceiling is made up of used empty bottles which is very interesting. I ordered the eisbein and it was simply the best I ever had.

So impressed with their breakfast. Even when extremely busy, they pulled a very good looking, extremely yummy, and still piping hot breakfast off. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the venue is very aesthetically pleasing.
