Wonderful receptionist. Very good customer service.

The rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a limited and the experience is a bit weird as the staffs role seems to be policing food wastage rather than service.Good for a short stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, the rooms were lovely and we had a nice view. It would be helpful if we had ac in the room since we visited in summer, but we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is near the city center. Big rooms. Wasnt parking, but they help me to find parking on the street.

Went during heat wave. Room had fan. Bathtub is high and hard to get into to shower.

Lovely view from a fifth floor room. Using the elevator saved a lot of stair climbing. The mattresses werent my favorite and that is coming from someone who likes firm mattresses, however my partner loved the beds and she prefers softer mattresses. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

Very good value for money, stayed here a night from Friday to Saturday and the room was very quiet and comfortable. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly.

We had booked over booking.com a family room for 4 in this hotel. When we arrived they said we had to pay for a kids as it is a room for 3. The room did not have any air conditioning and they only had a fan which made a sound all night long. When we called room service he said we have to wait till the morning so they exchange it. The water glasses in the room were dirty and the lady at the reception was very unfriendly. Never again for sure.

Unassuming historic hotel with great stuff. This is not a luxurious hotel but a comfy one in a great quiet location. Breakfast is decent, the breakfast is manned by super kind people.

Very Rude Manager!!! Manager name THOMAS HOSTETTLER is the worst manager I have ever seen. They entered our room without our consent and started arguing with us. Would not recommend this hotel to any one. Worst person.

Amazing experience with the hotel. Lovely and helpful staff which made our stay even plesent. We were given every assistance for our stay, our excursions planning and overall information about the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel... :)

I loved it,nice cosy rooms,the buffet was also tip top. Near to the train station.lovely stuff who spoke different languages. I mean i enjoyed my stay there.i would recommend.

Stayed there for 3 Nights, staff was very helpful and friendly. Break fast was very good. Cleanliness of hotel is up to the mark.And the best thing was the tiny little cute souvenirs they gave at the time of check-outThe pebbles from swiss mountain with the smiley face on.

Its a great place to come back again- Walking distance from the train station this hotel is in a great place & so finding it is pretty easy. You can also access most of the sites of lucerne from the hotel.- Staff has always been very cordial to welcome us- The breakfast is the best in town & good spread- Rooms are good for a couple & the amenities are also greatThe hotel helps you enjoy the views of the city

Hotel was somewhat disappointing. The location is not as central, but close to transit. The pictures posted online do not resemble the typical room, only the refurbished ones. Our bathroom looked very dated. No air conditioner, only older loud fans.When booking a double twin room be aware the beds are pushed together, not separate.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Lucerne. Easy walking to everything. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The room was spacious but no air conditioner. A nice fan was provided and the window did open. Included breakfast was good.

We have loved this hotel! The room was nice, the bed was super comfortable, and the included breakfast was great. The area around the hotel was quiet.

Really poor, no kettles allowed. Baggage room is downstairs with no elevator so basically impossible to keep heavy bags. Breakfast was fine but not great by their standards. Rooms were good.

Good location, right next door to the bus stop with all buses except number 5 going till the Lucerne railway station. Good clean rooms with nice view fo the entire neighborhood, fast wifi, average variety but good breakfast, friendly and courteous staff.

Location is great... Easily accessible either by bus... Or 8 min walk from Luzern train station.. staff is gud... Breakfast is again similar to all other hotel... Rooms are spacious.. clean.. nice to stay... This hotel not allow to kept any kettle/induction in the room.. very particular about their hotel rules..

Room is spacious, plenty of room to place luggages and great view. Breakfast is nice and delicious. Near public transportation although very convenient walking to BH.A little con: the waitress who serves during breakfast is a bit annoying. She seems to lack the warmth and friendliness of another waiter, asked our room number loudly and rudely, and kept talking with another two male guests very loudly, when all I want was to have a nice, quiet warm breakfast. Also the bathroom can use some heating.

Very nice hotel in terrific location. Very friendly staff. Had a family corner room on the 5th floor. Very spacious for 3 with wonderful view. Breakfast was very good.

Got in late, got a room on the 6th floor. Rooms are smaller. King bed. With some space around the bed. The roof slanting into the room took out some of the head room. Bathroom lights turn on as you walk in... so u cant leave it on at night. Shower, etc clean as standardly expected. Its close to old town, short walk gets you into cool shops and old churches, bridges. Good location.

Very happy we got into this hotel. The location was very convenient, great staff and as a bonus we saw the founders model train system which was a treat in itself. Will try to book this hotel next time I am in Lucern

Excellent location with bus connection with only a few steps of walking. They keep hot water, tea bags and jugs handy.Breakfast was good (continental). Takeaways are strictly not allowed.Our room had a nice balcony looking out on the street with cafe on the other side

Worst experience I ever had with any hotel. I dont know a way to give it negative rating, so I am giving 1 star rating. Firstly they would ask you to read an instruction letter(they emphasise on reading itwhile checkin, which contains things like: you should not take bath outside bath-tub, dont make a mess of the room and blah blah...Do they think that their customers dont even have basic sense and its the first time, they are staying in a hotel room. So disrespectful. Secondly, the checkout time is 11:00 AM. When I took 10 min over the time, the lady receptionist came and threatened that you will have to leave right away, not even ready to give 5 more min. So inhuman and unsocial. Particularly with kids, cant you sometimes get delayed unexpectedly? Is it so rare. How rude this is? How can they survive in todays times?? As if they are doing some favor to their customers. They need to understand that they are in hospitality business and should be more considerate. My suggestion, please avoid this hotel, if you can.

Clean and comfy rooms, had a great time there. Had a really good breakfast, food is available for take away as well. Had nothing to complain about, absolutely worth the price

Very nice hotel. Excellent staff. Room was fairly large clean and comfortable . Excellent location. Near the old town near many good restaurants and shopping tours etc. They gave us a pass to use the buses and trams around the city for our stay. This very good considering how much a ticket is for public transportation which is very good. Breakfast is good. Price was great. Highly recommended. I will stay there again.

Centrally located in Luzern and very well connected by bus. Hotel going back in time but contemporary. Very helpful front office staff. Excellent breakfast plan and restaurant on premises, with multi national including Indian restaurants within walkable distance. Extremely comfortable rooms.

Great breakfast included, great room for travelers. Not a view of the water, but honestly in Lucerne you dont need it. Just around the corner from the water and good proximity to everything. Friendly staff, really comfy beds. Would definitely come back.

Minimally adequate hotel; lacks any charm or character. Location is fair but I would have preferred to be across the river. No air and very noisy with the windows open. Most members of my group tour did not sleep well. Overall, very dark and dreary. Breakfast was adequate. Rooms including linens need updating.

Centrally located. Staff are polite and helpful but some flexibility in terms of changes in rooms needs to be empowered. No Air conditioning only fans are provided. Due to weather conditions in summer rooms having direct sunlight becomes hot and uncomfortable. WiFi network was poor. Recommended for a cooler period. Very beautiful view from balcony.
