Owner and employees are the best, I really appreciate the help we got.

Staff was great, but parking was kinda crazy...

This place is mot safe you have staff spyng on costumers rooms and going thru peoples stuff if you leave anything in the rooms very poor costumuner service I wouldnt recommend this place

Its okay. The personnel was friendly. But it was better if the room include coffee maker and TV more big. The screen is to small.

rooms dirty, floors stained with dirt, walls scratched up, rooms smell like mildew, a damp towel was left in our bathroom as a carpet. Air freshener is completely depleted and dried.

I chose this place only for sleeping overnight as it was not very far from airport and my flight was in night. Decent price

Staff are very friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. Great location for those visiting the university. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. They do a great job of keeping guests safety in mind as well.

Although I did not stay there I did drop some guests that I had transported through my luggage storage and transportation service business. I did speak to a woman at the front desk and another young gentleman. They were both very helpful. The place looks nice and kind of old school Puerto Rico. It it seemed kept well. Also a funky in a good way neighborhood.. I know its also close to a college..

Im from Ohio but live in ponce puerto rico. I travel alot to the San juan area for flights and this was the best I have enjoyed. Great prices, Great location and most Important Great staff. Even high end management and owner will help to the fullest expecually if your not from the area. Great place

My husband and I were there a week ago and I was abit disappointed because like other hotels, this one had not even toothpaste and a toothbrush at the least, only literally the towels in which my own had brown rusty looking stains on it and the room smelled very moldy. Never me again. It was clean but not too welcoming atall and there were mosquitoes that sang in your ear.

I loved it! It was. Clean and a very good price you really couldn’t ask for much better and Ms Iris was so nice she was so helpful on giving us information on where to eat and where to have fun! We will definitely be back!!

Have to change my review. Room was indeed clean and bed comfortable (no toiletries and only 2 towels for 3 peoplebut Im having issues with $100 deposit not returned after 10 days (which was never said we needed a deposit anywhere on the booking page). Owner (Elena?never available to speak with her about the deposite despite some of her (kinda rudeemployees stating that it was with her that I needed to talk. Very dissatisfied.Update: money was finally returned about a month afterwards.

I reserve here when I check in there was no AC working , very poor cleaned I talk nicely to the attendant since I have asma I explained to her that I was wheezing cuz the heat in the room and she make us wait almost an hour to offer another room and thats cuz I had to flip out and treat her I was cooling the authority s and better business beuro . I I tell her I want to speak to the owner , than she walk us to another room with working AC , later I walk out to get my extra inhaler in the car and she has like four rooms open becouse the AC wasnt working either.no recommend this place to ànyone also there is no parking but 3 spaces.

People be careful when you make payment at the front desk. They take your card info and charge you twice. It happened to me twice during my stay in San Juan. Only way to get your money back is through the dispute process with your bank

Great price for a 1 night stay. Cold A/C, small kitchen w fridge and microwave. Laundromat across the street. Not a great part of town, but just looking for a cheap night.

The room itself is ok. But the $100 deposit never come back after two weeks. Called the hotel and the rude lady said "I dont understand English" and hung up the phone.

Instead of having rooms online but when I got there they said that they didnt have any more rooms so now Im driving around to try to find a room I didnt want to put my credit card on on their payment because of the fact that I dont want to do if we can get a room I didnt want to go through

This place is literally disgusting. It is in a very bad part of the city. Upon entering the room the odor of mold and mildew gives you a headache. Toilette broken. The mold is under the bed I have photos. When shown to the staff was given excuse that the ladys are too short to clean ac and they have to clean fast. Not even offered a new room.

Beware that check in does not start until 3pm. I didn’t see this information anywhere online when booking so I showed up about a quarter to 1 and there was no one at the front desk so I had to call a phone number for assistance. When I said I would like to check in the lady on the other end scoffed at me and only then was I informed of the check in time. Extremely unprofessional

We was so happy to had chosen this amazing hotel i,words can describe it ,If you visit Puerto Rico choose this hotel , front desk personal are amazing and professional .Room extra clean .Im Puerto Rican my husband American I took him there so he can have the island authentic experience of our people .The street at night is very busy party lol supermarket near by, laundromat, Walgreens ,gas station, restaurant with music and food ,beer etc and also Chinese restaurant just 2 step away ,if you looking to have a different experience come here, ..,Thank you all we will be back again Gracias .wepa boricua love .Will recommend that place especially room 102 the best.Dog friendly also ...

If I could give zero stars I would. Everything about this hotel is trashy and extremely LOW budget. I understand affordability but this place is the pits! There wasn’t anyone at the front desk upon arrival. I rang the front desk bell and the attendant appeared after 20mins half sleep and had a horrible attitude. The room given to me had plumbing issues; the toilet didn’t flush properly and constantly backed up. Water leaked loudly on pipes outside the tiny window in the room for the entire night. There are no washcloths and bar soap isn’t provided so you have to buy your own. There are also no towel changes; you keep the same towels for your entire stay. The neighborhood has a homeless issue and drug activity is heavy in the vicinity. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a stray animal.

June 28, 2015: Basic Clean room, no window but with a great air condition. Just to sleepover and travel in San Juan area. Very helpful customer service, she provide us with free parking across the street, but be advised that this hotel do not come with parking. Paid $63.50 plus tax $7.63 total: $71.13

Location was great. Ac worked Very good. I called 2 weeks prior to making my reservation online, but decided to call 1st bc I had some questions. I spoke to Elena she answer ALL my questions, and also made the reservation on the conversation with her.... Looking forward to staying there again in the near future.Thanks again Elena for your 100% customers service.🙌🏼

My husband my 7 year old and myself stayed for one night and the room was very clean and spacious for only 75 bucks . It’s 15 min away from old San Juan it’s affordable and convenient . María was very helpful.

Not a bad place at all if yr only sleeping,,bring yr own towels as they want u to reuse,,safe they have surveillance, clean,and their nice ppl,,my experience there was good,,they have great parking across the street,,not easy to park over there its horrible as every parking is tiny

Very clean room, outstanding customer service. Elena was great and a pleasure to speak with. She was also excellent on accommodating us last minute.

This hotel is a budget hotel and I truly understand that. However budget or not certain services come standard (Hot running water for instance). Me and my wife had a unsatisfactory stay here at this hotel. The hotel is located near the university of Rio Pierdas so it’s noisy at night. That’s to be expected as young adults congregate nearby the bars. The thing is the neighborhood has a homeless problem and many of them seem to have substance abuse issues. When I asked the front desk was the neighborhood safe. The young lady answered this is Rio Piedras. I guess it meant no.Our room was clean and neat but had no running hot water. I told the front desk and several hours later the maintenance man showed up and tried to fix it. There was hot water for several minutes while he troubleshoot it but after the maintenance man left . The water was cold again. My poor wife had to shower one body part at a time in order to shower. I was going to go back to the front desk and complain but realize what good would it do. The maintenance man said the hot water came from all the way in the 5th floor and it takes awhile for it to make it to the bottom of the building. I was at street level and 30 minutes later of running the water it never got even warm again. The only thing that worked was properly was the AC. I walked around the neighborhood during the day and noticed drug sales taking place out in the open. Vagrants congregating on corners. Not a Safe place where families would feel safe. I tolerated the 3 nights because My wife had to attend a job meeting in the San Juan area. My advice is you skip this BAD Dreams hotel and for a couple of dollars more stay in a secure hotel elsewhere.

If i have any complaints its that rosa is horrible at customer service. She was rude, and acted like she didnt want to have to do her job. Outside of that i wish the rooms had complimentary soap. And a less strong odor in the cleaning supplies

Very cozy hotel. Super friendly staff. I arrived at 2am and received one of the best services I have ever encounter. Clean and quiet rooms. Plenty of space to hangout and breakfast in the morning!

Friendly people, easy check in/check out process, had most of the basics, lively area. A block away from University (college, several bars across the street. It was lit 🔥 on certain nights, dead others, could have been due to concerts. Water gets blazing hot which I loved so much, AC was piping cold & an updated unit. No blow dryer or iron but microwave and mini fridge which I used with no problem. Comp breakfast which I never was able to try bc I slept in everyday lol. Would I stay here again, YES, for the same price I paid? NO. oh yeah & they have free parking either in front of building, street side or across the street at the church.

Great place to stay. It isn’t glamorous but it’s a clean place to stay. Water gets hot, you’ve just got to run the water for a few mins before getting in. Small spaces and tv due to this being an eco friendly hotel. However the room had more than what we needed, fridge, microwave, etc. It’s near the university and some bars so expect a crowd in the streets at night.

First of all, I had missed my flight so Imissed one day of stay and they couldnt even out of generisity refund me for that one day, I tried talking to the manager and she wouldnt even budge, the people staying in the hotel was very noisy, ooening and shutting doors really hard, talking very loud very late at night, they had no consideration at all. You have to use the iron down stairs. Never heard of anything like that before! Very busy strip!! I would not recommend it!! I stayed there may 2109

Environmental Friendly Hotel! Simple, clean, every room is intended for a unique type of guest or group. 150% customer service oriented, always do their best to acomodate each customer. Great parking lot and location, just perfect! 10 minutes from SJU Airport, Malls and 15 minutes from Isla Verde Beaches...love it!

Very disappointed with booking. I am usually so careful about last minute cancellation. Since sometime my fights are delayed. I had to pay full price whether I make it or not. Not cool at all. Be aware if you lose your fight or is cancel they do not care.. you will pay for a service that you didnt have.

We had a late flight. We didnt check in until 1:30 in the morning. We had two young children with us too. The streets were full of drunk people and homeless. Good thing we were only there for one night. Thankfully, all was cleared the next day. Just a normal dense neighborhood. Only street parking for the hotel even though it seems like they have a parking lot. The "free" breakfast was terrible. Stale cereal. That was pretty much it.

Be aware that whatever you pay through the booking site is just for the first night. Youll be asked to pay the full amount immediately or exit at noon the next day.It has an authentic vibe, very homely. The bed room is small. TV is tiny, reminds me of Michaels TV from the office. The bathroom doesnt have a fan, so a window needs to be cracked open. Also no elevator.You get what you pay for.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist you with anything. They do what ever is necessary to make you feel very welcome. There are many restaurants at walking distance. If you like italian food I recommend Mona Lisa Restaurant which is one block away. There is a Walgreens around the corner and two mini markets. They do have hot water but you have to wait about 45 seconds once you turn on the water. They dont supply shampoo and/or conditioner, so you need to bring your own.

Nice, quiet motel. Good service at decent prices. Really liked my room. Only negative is parking. Its hard to find, unless you rent a subcompact, then you can use one of three spots up front.

Not only you have to wait a lot, Ive been told the hotel smell like an old basement. They promote the hotel with really good pictures, but its nothing near that image. I hope they have fixed the roaches problem, avoid this horrible experience.

I came to this hotel and i was immediately happy with the awesome staff this hotel has. Rosa was the best, she was funny, kind and real. I stayed there for 4 days and the experience got better and better everyday. Fresh food literally right outside. Plenty of bars and restaurants, all in walking distance. I love this place so I hope you do too!

Avoid this place at all costs. The bathroom is super small. Breakfast is 2 crackers an apple and some coffee. Their housekeeping stole personal items. I called to report it and they stated their staff would never steal any thing. Im so disgusted. When i would complain about the bathroom they said this is an exclusive tourist hotel and everyone is good with it. Idk how the heck anyone would give this place anything above a 1 star rating. The bathroom towels omg youre better off air drying end up with burns using their cheap scratchy thin towels. If you want to settle heres the place to be.

Fine for one night. This is in the university area. Second floor walk up. No elevators. Lots of walkable areas that had local restaurants. This is a bed and breakfast quaint place. Neat courtyard. Very nice staff and clean. No frills. It was $15 by uber from the hotel to the cruise port. Has a microwave and frig along w a small table and chairs. Had 1 twin and 1 double for the 3 of us.

The staff was extremely friendly and we got a chance to walk around the University of Puerto Rico, which is literally down the block. The room was very clean as well. The price was also extremely good for the value. I highly recommend staying here if youre looking for a well-kept hotel that is not expensive!

It was perfect, the hotel met its purpose. This is my second time staying here and the hotel has been remodeled since the last time Ive been. Very clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff (like most localsand its location has good restaurants and night places to go.

My brother and I stayed here to rest before our flight. The hotel is right by a University and therefore has tons of businesses and a prevalent night life. The staff were extremely accommodating and the room was neat, large, and not too expensive.

I stayed at multiple places in PR and this was by far my favorite (One of them being the Hyatt). The room was small, big enough to fit queen sized bed, two night stands, and a small "closet". The bathroom was a decent size, not small at all. TV has a large range of channels that include American channels. Wifi signal was great. Staff was fantastic. My only gripe is the noise. You can hear everything in the hallway through your door so make sure to bring earplugs. Also if you rent a car parking can be a little tricky. Otherwise I had no issues.

We had 2 nights here. The first night everything was good, the staffs were friendly and very helpful to us as we asked recommendations for places to go in the city. However, the choices of the breakfast are limited, they got only apples, orange juice, coffee, toast for both 2 days of our stay. On the second night, we heard ppl intermittently shouting or talking in loud volume outside our room at midnight and 1 or 2 oclock in the morning. Other than that, the room was clean and at least comfortable, no big cons was seen.

A great small hotel. The rooms are super clean, close to restaurants and clubs. There is a super market close by and the staff is super friendly and very helpful. Its close to Rio Piedras Market. This is possibly the best deal in the San Juan area. A great place to stay.

5 miles away from the busiest Condado area. Not a long drive. The advantage is fair rate and easy parking. Continental breakfast was nothing but breads, coffee, and apples. Staff was nice. However I have to say my stay there was a DISASTER! I am not sure if it was the sound insulation between rooms was so bad, or I was just unlucky. I stayed there on New Years Eve and everybody was excited such that nobody got down by until midnight. That was fine. I didnt either. However, I was awaken at 1am by two screaming girls next door as they were celebrating new year at the east coast time zone! They kept screaming "Happy New Year!!!" "Oh My God" for about 20 minutes without a break. I was so annoyed that I went downstairs to ask the staff to ask them to calm down. The staff was nice and he responded immediately. But the result was one of the girls stopped while other other (seemingly drunkkept screaming at the staff "What is your problem" "Its new year!" "I am all wight", and just wouldnt stop. The staff left. I had to live with that until they got tired at about 2am. Oh god I thought I could finally sleep. But was awakened at 6am again, by other neighbors to our left! Two people were chitchatting so loud that I felt my brain was coming out. I had to get up again and tell them to quite down...I would never stay in hotels like this with many careless guests just to save a hundred dollars.
