San Juan, 00907, Puerto Rico, San Juan
This modest hotel is 2 km from El Escambrón Beach, and 5 km from Castillo San Felipe del Morro, a 16th-century fortification. It's 11 km from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport.Casual rooms provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges, plus microwaves. Family rooms add bunk beds and sleep up to 6 people.Parking is complimentary. Bike rentals are available.
Owner and employees make everything possible for the best service.
Read the paper given at check-in. Room will be warm and AC may take a bit to cool the room down.Soap is in refillable dispensers. I appreciated the water pressure and cold water (Sheraton shower was only warm, never cool/cold water & decent pressure). It is a basic amenities and straight forward typeof place. Found the doors a bit unexpected, but there are cameras and code needed if arriving after hours. Will need to uber for any attractions.
We rented four rooms for the weekend. Everyone was pleased with the price, comfort, cleanliness, and service. The location is excellent. Impressed by shower water pressure.
Small out of the way hotel. They promote food (sandwiches and salads)but they dont serve food according to them because of covid. No room service. When I asked for a couple of towels it was obvious they gave me towels left behind by other guests. Just very unprofessional. Good perhaps for a man for one overnight stay. Kind of seedy.
The room was not cleaning in full. Many dirty details around the room and bathroom. The TV remote control did not work.
Good location, walking distance to T-mobile district, services is below average. The price is ok, room is clean. Parking garage is very small and difficult to park. You have to ask for ice if you want and you cannot control the AC since front desk is holding on to the remote control
This was the best values if you want no frills. Very clean and comfortable room. Good central location. Can walk or Uber quickly. Hilton or Marriott is double price. This hotel was more than adequate for us. I would definitely stay again.
Very good hotel with good rates. Walking distance to District T Mobile. Very clean with free parking. I enjoyed my stay.
Mixed experience. Lost our reservations but gave us rooms. Nice location for local restaurants and supermarket and friendly staff, but minima,l bare bones room although they have do microwave and refrigerator. Provided transportation to cruise port.
Does what it says on the tin. Good value basic hotel. Tad outdated but rooms were clean and comfortable. Downside is there is a motorway behind the hotel so it can be noisy but as mentioned above does what it says on the tin. Some restaurants and cafes and supermarket nearby. Will need a car or Uber to old city but not far. Or an hour walk. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I understand and respect that with hotel lodging you pay for what you get. However, for $170/night, this place does not give you hardly anything! No washcloths, no bars of soap or shampoo, no early check-in, no breakfast, no fresh coffee or water, no courtesies like plastic utensils for guests, no security (no one sits at the front desk until you call), no deadbolts on the room doors, poor cleaning service (there were still dirty towels in our room), no cups or glasses in the room, no plastic liner for the ice bucket (which was still wet from the last guest), no coffee maker in the room (but for some reason coffee mugs), unprepared rooms (everything in our room was unplugged- including the AC and fridge meaning it took forever to get things cool), and unreliable hot water. If there’s one perk to the place it’s just that it’s a nice building with a neat layout. Much to be desired still if you’re going to charge as much as a Marriott.
Quaint but clean hotel with friendly staff near Miramar with excellent dining options close by
Simple hotel, but it was immaculate, comfortable, and the employees we interacted with were very friendly. We are a family of 6, and having 2 queens and bunk beds in the same room was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel!
Good for a night but, didnt feel safe.
I wish there was a 4.5 stars, the hotel was basic, but very clean. Hot water and cold AC.the check in process was a little ckuncky with old fashioned keys which if you lose is $25. It just seemed a little pricey for what you get. Still beds slept OK after a long day of relief flights to Haiti.
Overall mediocre. Quality of a drive-in motel at a $140/night price point.
Its hard to give a place like this high rating, it is the definition of a budget hotel, but it was exactly what we needed. We spend our whole trip circling the island and we just needed a place to sleep our last night before going to the airport in the early morning. There is a corner store about a half mile up the road that I went to, though not many restaurants near by, we ended up using uber eats. The trip to the airport was $35
This hotel was super clean! It was under staffed. the elevator broke. my tv did not work at all but the people remained calm, helpful. And still were able to smile even thoughvI know their hands were tied.
Nice place parking is limited better off walking around and enjoying Condado and SanJuan
Room had sand on the floor. It felt like a motel. They refurbished it pretty well, but extremely cheap and the service was non existent. It was also wayyyy over priced. It has the feel of a 2.5 Hotel on Expedia not a 3.5
This was an unexpected stay due to a flight cancelation. The staff was extremely helpful, the placewas clean and very comfortable. The rates on the other hand were a bit outrageous...189 plus tax and a 200 deposit for 1 night.🤷🏻♀️
Terrible smell upon entering the room - requested cleaning service before 1pm as per policy and room was not cleaned. Room just gave me and my partner the creeps as well.... would not stay again
Nice staff. Only liquid soap witch is ok. But no conditioner. 6 people and only 4 towels. Very clean. Nice hot water. Microwave (small). Very small fridge (room size). Closet. 2 bunk beds. 2 queen beds. Why they did not tell us. They charge $200.00 in your credit card. And after a few days they returned it if the room is in good conditions. So be prepared for that which is not nice to do. They should tell you in advanced. I made my purchase through an app. I doesn’t say it at all. But. We slept like in heaven. All clean. Nice a/c. And you don’t find easy places for 6 people. This is my first time here. 10 minutes walking to El Condado. Good is a walking distance and it does has a very small parking. All good people. Make sure to read reviews from experts.
Great staff and very clean. Down side was no wash clothes and noisy neighbors
First the positives: Staff was nice, room was clean.Areas for improvement:. Only provided liguid hand soap in a dispenser screwed to the wall. No soap for showers, no shampoos, conditioner, bars of soap etc. Provided toilet paper and one towel per person but nohand towels nor wash clothes. Only put out coffee when guests left some behind. Parking garage is almost impossible to use. Fire alarm went off at 3:20 am, all exits were locked except front entrance.
I am praying to get out of here safe , I cant believe I will never come back to potorico , this one picture are pretied up the room Nd showers is pretty disappointing, parking under ground were unbelievable dangerous I am actually scared . Street does not have parking . Rethink reserving this hotel. Its not all that.
I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be nearby the beach, shopping centers, boardwalk. It was the absolute best hotel in the San Juan area. Extremelyyyy clean, staff was very polite and helpful, followed covid regulations. I was completely satisfied with this hotel in all aspects. Im definitely going to be booking only with them everytime i travel to San Juan. Deserves more than just 5 stars!! Btw very affordable!
The staff in this hotel were least responsive. The parking situation is a mess
It is dark and the floor was very dirty. Location was good.
Very poor customer service! I would not recommend staying at this location. You dont even get what you pay for here! Stay away!!
It was a very basic hotel to stay at. Close to the airport and the cruise port which was very convenient. Kind of had paper thin walls, especially in the morning when all of the loud cars were coming by. Otherwise, we had no issues here. It was clean and comfortable. Theres also a food truck a few blocks down that had some of the best food ever.
Excellent staff management , the attention to the customer was on point. Always looking on how to make your stay better.
It has the basic amenities, and its clean. The beds are nice, but firm. Air conditioning is good. Showers have no pressure due to water savers. Water was hot. No hair dryers, and no counters in the bathroom. Rooms do have refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was Fruit Loops and Cherios. It is within walking distance to good restaurants, grocery store, and pharmacy. Theres also a free shuttle to the pier. I would stay here again, because I consider it a good value.
I have been traveling to Puerto Rico for business for over 10 years and have stayed in several hotels in various cities here. This hotel was very disappointing. The hallways smelled of mold and the elevator smelled of some sort of chemical. It was very difficult to get hot water in the shower (had to get assistance from the front desk). I had to go downstairs to a laundry area to use a single iron and ironing board because that was the only one in the hotel. The faucet in the bathroom sink was modeled after the gas station sinks where you have to hold down a faucet button in order to make water continuously come out. The towels were thin and very coarse. The good news is the staff was very nice and helpful.
Located in a very centered place near Old San Juan. Super clean and comfortable. Cozy rooms and adorable staff. Elena will make you feel at home!
Rooms were very clean and the the staff was great.i just love the hospitality i will be back.me and my friends
Hotel was clean, and rooms seemed modern, location a ways from attractions but over all nice. We had problem s getting transport to the pprt but it was the hotels fault
Did a boat trip with captain chris really great staff and they know how to help you find the right excursions
Nice, Clean, good place to stay while you are in Puerto Rico. Very Economical
Was here for one night before our cruise. Clean room with super friendly staff....no complaints
Friendly service, nice clean p)ace, modest ptice- very competitive and within walking distance of activity and ding centers. Limited parking. Light breakfast only.
Someone has tried to refurbish, but its tacky. Breakfast, as it was called, coffee was in a Stanley thermos. Other items didnt look fresh or appetizing. People were friendly, but wouldnt stay again.
Nice staff clean room price was fair. No View and pillows were on the flat side.
My wife and I landed in Puerto Rico at 1am I’m preparation for a cruise. Prices for hotels that weekend were through the roof, so we just planned on hanging out somewhere for a few hours until boarding the ship. Just two hours later we realized just how tired we were. I started calling hotels around San Juan and all but two of the dozen I called were booked. One of them was $299, but by the time I realized how booked up the city was, they filled that last room. I kept calling hotels and one of the big chains (who was fullrecommended Dreams Miramar Hotel.I was excited when they said they had one room left and it was only $150! I told him I’d be there as soon as my Uber arrived and brought me down to the Hotel. Once we got there I was really pleased with the professionalism of the attendant. He handled everything quickly. I expressed how grateful we were to him - he told us someone called right after I had and wanted to book the room, but he held it for us on my word! These guys saved the day for us! The place was super clean and everything was brand new! The room we stayed in was very nice and modern: Mini fridge, wall mount TV, tile flooring, etc.The only single complaint I had was that at the time of the stay our room didn’t have a deadbolt or latch-lock (like commonly found in hotelson the inside the door. Perhaps this is because the hotel room was literally brand new, idk. Hopefully they’ll make this quick and easy addition to their rooms in the near future. If you are going to San Juan, I would highly recommend this place! Don’t let the street view fool you!
Nice place very clean and hospitable. They gave us a free ride to the dock for our cruise, very nice driver!
The hotel is not in the best location, but not too bad. Its clean. When we were there the elevator wasnt working and we had to drag our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. NOT fun. They did provide a suttle to the Cruise ships but they had more people than seats. We took a cab ..........
Clean and efficient hotel. I expected more for breakfast, but it was enough to get through the morning.
Excellent hotel nearby the Condado Beach and touristic area. I stayed one week and I enjoyed the stay. Helpful staff, nice rooms, very clean and modern. Familiar hotel, with continental breakfast included. Rates are a lot cheaper than hotel in the area.
I have stayed at this hotel several times and the rooms assigned to me have been really big and clean. The staff members have very polite, friendly and very knowledgeable of San Juan and Puerto Rico en general. Their hotel rates fit my budge perfectly and the rates include a very nice continental breakfast. For sure, when I go back to PR, Im planning to stay at the Dream Mirarar Hotel. 5 🌟 s.
Nice place, extremely clean. The personnel are excellent, super friendly and very responsive!!!!!!!
