Dream Wave in Portimao

We booked this parasailing 🪂 experience in advance before flying as the website stated it was “likely to sell out”. It’s an activity we’ve never had the opportunity to experience. We decided to do the activity early morning. We arrived at the desk at 10:15am. The instructions stated we should arrive 30min before the activity commences. Our time slot was 11am, so we arrived in ample time.All the offices and desks are really easy to find. (See Pictures).Upon check-in we were informed that ‘this trip may not go ahead and we may have to move our slot to 2pm, due to sea conditions’. By this point we had caught a taxi and already arrived. I stated that we’d just paid for a taxi, if it was going to be cancelled why has no one called earlier☎️The representative then spoke to a managerial colleague. We were then told it may have to be moved to the 2pm slot or cancelled altogether. In all honesty the sea conditions looked fine and the sun was shining. (But, I’m not a captain 👨‍✈️). After careful consideration and communication amongst the staff and captain it was decided we would go out at 10am. We were the only 2 booked for this time slot. The ‘Dream wave’ representatives, Dan and Ricardo were second to ñoñe!👌🏽 Absolutely incredible. Informative, instructive, humourous, fun and made the experience just amazing! Dan also takes pictures for you so you can capture the moments 📸. Normally there are other people on the boat that can take pictures for you on your phone, but in this case, we had a private boat 😉.A lifetime experience to parasail on the Portugal seas - North Atlantic Ocean. We loved it! A highly recommended experience. 100% worth the money. If your sea sick, don’t worry, your not on the sea for too long. If your scared of heights, you should DO this activity to conquer your fear, you will not regret it. Whatever your thoughts, definitely try this activity. I’d recommend it with ‘Dream wave’ as the staff are incredible. I’d also recommend not booking in advance as you don’t want to be disappointed and there are also plenty of times and opportunities available. (This would obviously change depending on what season you go in).Do you get wet 💦 ? Yes you do. So wear something comfortable and water proof or just your usual swim wearAn enjoyable experience, Thank you ‘Dream wave’. 💫

Fantastic experience. Great instructions from start to finish with Get Your Guide. Instructors and staff amazing on board. Brilliant experience and great photos afterwards, which were well worth the extra charge. Totally recommend!

Everything about our trip was amazing. The staff were so relaxed and competent, the route we took on the Pirate BBQ cruise was beautiful and the food was fantastic quality. Such good value for money. Would book another trip with them any time we return. Thank you so much for your hospitality 💜

About € 30 per person. € 10 for photo.Absolutely wonderful trip. Takes about 2 hours. We saw dolphins AND caves. The Benagil cave is especially beautiful. The boat goes into the cave. Lots of caves and rock formations along this shore between Albufeira and Carvoeiro. HIGHLY recommended.

Absolutely wonderful 2 hour trip. Sam was our guide and very informative. The caves are absolutely stunning and best of all, we saw dolphins. I would definitely recommend this trip

The journey took 1 hour 50 minutes, and we booked thru book my tickets website. The boat captain was very nice and he took us very close to the dolphins. Guide was also good. Over all good experience with Dreamwave operators, may not be the best. But ya, you can also try other operators.

Nice speed boat trip and well organized.Our guide was in french and English, but we felt that french explanation were more detailed since there was more french in our group.The speed boat is very "bumpy" and you will get a little soaked, but we didnt mind that at all.

The jet ski was so much fun, it was 30 minutes for €90 (€45 each for us as we shared one). 30 minutes is plenty of time to both enjoy it. Im not sure of our guides name but he was so friendly and explained everything really well.

Brilliant day out to see the Caves and Dolphins. We went on the Insonia boat, really comfortable and a great size to get in to see the caves.We were lucky enough to see lots of amazing dolphins, right up close. You can tell the captains are experienced at finding Dolphins and also not disturbing them.Thanks to our guide Teresa and Captain Cristiano for a fantastic trip. 10/10 must do if you are in Albufeira.

Great pirate cruise that my 5 and 7 year old loved. Highlight was jumping off the boat into the sea.Take a coat and a change of clothes.

Very nice, multilingual and good-humoured staff. Great trip including the beautiful dolphins and the incredible Benagil caves, and the chance to take a (veryrefreshing swim in the ocean. A thoroughly enjoyable day out, would happily recommend it 🙂

What a fabulous tour to end our time in the Algarve! We saw quite a few dolphins on our afternoon tour. We were not rushed and the crew moved around quite a bit to keep up the interest of the dolphins 🐬. They followed that with a tour of the coastline and caves. Magnificent!

Absolutely amazing experience. Danny and the parasailing team were truly outstanding. They made the whole party feel at ease. The safety instructions were given in every language and understanding was checked. Both me and my partner felt valued and safe at all times. I would do this experience again in a heart beat. Initially I thought the price was a bit expensive but it was so worth the money we paid for 5 of us. Sam one of our guides answered every question we had to the best he could and was such a lovely guy. I would highly recommend taking a trip. One tip bring a warm jacket 😁

We had a fantastic day on the 2 hour cruise on the pirate ship. Our 2 young children loved it and the staff were great as well. We even got to see Dolphins up close! Excellent value and would highly recommend.

This was an amazing experience going on a 3 hour boat ride from Albufiera Marina. The tour had an experience of a lifetime looking at the Benagil Caves and even getting to experience seeing Dolphins!The boat ride itself was very fast paced so if you get sea sick this is not a good choice for you. It was okay on the way there but after a while it does get a bit sickening, I was fine but others around me were getting sick and vomiting. So bear the speed in mind.The views were incredible and was the best experience seeing the dolphins so close and enjoying the freedom of the sea. The staff were very nice and gave information where they could about everything.The reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is due to the fact that there was a lady taking photos of everyone when they arrived but she didn’t bother taking a picture of us. We found this very uncomfortable and concerning that she missed us and did every other person who got onboard. We would have loved to purchase a photo too. So she missed out there…They have a connection with the Cafe across and it’s a good 10% discount for booking with Dream Wave… but the cafe was not very nice and had not many vegetarian options (as we are muslim and cannot eat haram).All in all a very good experience… can seem very lengthy with the fast paced experience but very worth it.

Amazing trip, not always guaranteed to see the dolphins...(wich is logical, wild animals dont come on commandobut they do there utmost best to find them! Also went into the Benagil cave and some other beautiful caves with the Insonia. Friendly, lovely crew and a wonderful 2 hours at sea! Highly recommended!!

We went on a family trip to spot dolphins and see caves from sea and it was amazing. We saw beautiful dolphins and they were very playful. We had a very nice captain and guide, as well as a very beautiful view of the caves from the sea. We also went in the caves as far as possible. The organization of the trip went very smoothly as everything was well organized and clear. It was definitely worth the money!

Jet ski experience was a birthday gift to our daughter. They (dad and daughterboth had it for the first time. We booked 30 min session for both, and friendly crew let them drive 15 min each, and that was the best party of the deal. Also, great pictures were taken by crew and you gave to pay separately. All team as in booking centre as on the boat are very professional.

Very friendly staff. A really nice experience. They take you to see dolphins, far away from the coast, then you go west to see the caves. You do not go through those as the boat is too big. The boat enters the caves and then reverses. Those places are swarmed by boats and kayaks. We were lucky to have encountered another species of dolphins on the way back to the marina. They anchored just outside Albufeira so people could swim for a short time. They took a lovely photo of us. Highly recommended.

We LOVED this 2hour caves and dolphin boat ride. These guys are all so helpful and Miguel & Daniel were our guides and captains! We knew from the second we got on board we were on the fun boat! Miguel was fun and really informative and both made our trip the highlight of our week. And we saw dolphins too! Magical! If you’re on the fence booking this experience, just go for it! We did a boat ride to ser dolphins and the coastline. The ride was ok but there where some things i did not like:1. When they found dolphines they stayed one minute and then they said they went down and they went back. That was dissapointing after we sailed so long.2. They did not go all the way in the bangali cave and we did not get ti go to shore to see the cave.

Great experience. Saw stunning coastline and caves and lots of dolphins. Guys running our boat were fantastic so friendly and accommodating and made it really good fun.

Good trip but unfortunately we didnt see any dolphins on our recent trip. Just bad luck I suppose. Also some swimming time was advertised but we didnt get any. Beautiful scenery though and fabulous boat.

Had an excellent experience today!! We drove from Faro to see Albufeira and take a boat ride. We chose Dreamwave because the boats are not too small. We saw the gorgeous coastline, caves and rock formations, we even saw dolphins at the end! Tiago was captain and is clearly an expert with the boat. The crew was friendly and informed us of what we were seeing. They spotted the activity that indicated dolphins and it was spectacular! Highly recommend!

Great trip! We had a great crew, the caves were awesome and they gave some information on them and we were fortunate enough to see dolphins.

To be honest, it wasnt as expected at all. Very fast speed boat ride to the caves region, yes the caves are nice but you are rushed to get there. With 2 kids on board, it wasnt much fun going at full speed. There was a couple behind us with a baby and baby could hardly breath from the wind. No Dolphins were at sight and we were only there looking for dolphins for like a few minutes before heading back. It was a 2 and half hours which had been spent 2 hours on a speedy boat. I had bigger expectations but it was just a tiring day. It wasnt really worth doing. I would rather spend another day at Zoomarine or aquashow

We booked the 3 hour boat tour of the caves and dolphin watching. The caves were nice but there wasn’t that much information shared. The remaining 2 hours after the caves was basically driving out into the ocean to see dolphins (which we didn’tso it ended up just being a long boat ride that made some of us seasick. I’d recommend doing a shorter ride only for the caves.

The two stars go for the Dolphins, the view and the crew. The location is great and what they show is very nice. BUT be warned. Make absolutely sure that the day you choose to go for the boat ride has calm waters. No waves, or you will have the ride to hell. If you are the kind that will never ride a roller coaster , DO NOT book a ride without first checking the ocean for waves. If you have a heart condition avoid a ride in a day with agitated waters. We had our ride on June 02 2022 and it was terrible as far as the waters go. We had at least 4 people vomiting and a woman was ejected from her seat and fell facedown and was bleeding from a cut in her eyebrow area of the face. The crew was friendly but the pilot just kept in mind the schedule and had to much speed when facing the waves. It was a very jumpy ride and there are no seatbelts to hold you in place.

We did this trip on a family holiday and absolutely loved it! We managed to see some dolphins and the crew were able to give us some more information about the dolphins and had lots of knowledge about the species and how they live. We were able to see the stunning coastline and it’s perfect for those who don’t want to get wet or stop for a swim! Would highly recommend

May 23rd morning cave/dolphin experience and that it was, especially when we encountered a pod of dolphins it was magnificent. The caves were good too. Ideal for kids with it being a bigger size boat so less bumpy. The crew where friendly and knowledgeable throughout the experience. Overall would definitely recommend.

The guide was friendly, but this is basically a boat ride. No dolphins seen (which isn’t his faultand brief incursions into caves because so many other boats are present. Very little information about the area or geography is given. Nice tour, but not amazing.

My fiance and I tool part in the Benagil caves and dolphin experience. We had the best time! The staff were fantastic and very knowledgeable through out the tour, they ensured everyone was happy and even though we didnt manage to find the dolphins, we had an amazing time!

A nice open boat experience to see caves and opportunity to see Dolphins, but the ride was bit adrenaline though, be prepared to get battered with sea water on this high speed ride

Fantastic little boat tour that takes you out to see bottlenose dolphins and then a tour of the coast. A great way to see the delights the coast has to offer. Fairly cheap for such a good experience and a bonus that we actually managed to see the dolphins. Boat has a toilet which was greatly welcomed after some pre-teip mojitos!

Great experience had a good crew on board the boat, spoke very good English and French, also asked about Spanish speakers. They gave us good information about the caves and we had the pleasure of seeing dolphins too.

We had a great tour, great energy from all the staff. Even though we did not see dolphins, they tried their hardest and it was beautiful anyway. I definitely recommend bring a jacket.

They were very considerate, offering coats for those that didnt bring them. They let us have plenty of time to watch the dolphins. The caves were spectacular.

Amazing day . Never read the confirmation email correctly so went without my id. When we got there the girl was more than accommodating an happily rescheduled us for the afternoon trip. The trip its self is well worth the money .On leaving the harbour the 2 staff on our boat got a message across the radio that dolphins had been spotted down to the east of the harbour . So off they brought us and sure enough we seen a school of dolphins and followed them for 20 mins or so.It was at this point the guide told us that they had actually brought us of the actual tour route and they had to bring us back to the other side of the harbour. But That they just wanted us to see the dolphins.The guides themselves made the trip with their cheeky banter with the other boats and their safe play acting on the boat .Amazing views all up the coast with a bit of local knowledge thrown in. If you go at high tide you will be brought into 1 or 2 of the cavesAll in all an amazing trip well worth the money and a visit to the beautiful marina.

The captain hook voyage was delightful. Great for the kids to be able to walk around on the slow moving boat. We even saw jumping dolphins! Held back that 5th star because we thought it was a sail boat ride but it was only using the motor.

We took the 2-hour Insomnia trip for the caves and the dolphins. It was amazing. They have a really friendly staff. The first hour was to see the many caves and hidden beaches. The next to search for the Dolphins. The captain did everything so we get a good view. PLEASE DO CARRY A JACKET, even if youre going in August. We went during the peak summers and it was cold, the boat has a pretty high speed and its the Atlantic.
