Only thing I didnt enjoy was a clear panel over door in room. Im a light sleeper anything wakes me up even light..Anyhow, its not a deal breaker for me to come back. I recommend..Lo recomiendo..ps.its near everything food beach and airport..

From the moment Jorge greeted us, we New it was going to be great. Excellent location for what we came for. This will be my hotel of choice in San Juan!

I was there for 6 nights and it was a great experience. Amazing customer service. Great location, and parking wasn’t as big an issue as I thought. I felt like the area was safe, with a decent police presence. Blocks from the beach, 24 hr Walgreens, McDonald’s, and lots of great local options. Every member of the staff was super friendly, and Jorge was the one interacted with the most, and he was an amazing host. I found the communal beach supplies area to be amazing. I contributed some hair gel, hope someone finds it useful hahahaha. I will definitely try to make this hotel my accommodations again. FYI. I’m an extremely demanding consumer, and have “Karen” tendencies, and at no point was karina awaken. Oh and the terrace, amazing, if it had a hot tub up there, it would be heaven.

Listen, this hotel is perfect for the price. Near downtown, you have a Walgreens and McDonalds if youre iffy about traveling, or you have plenty of amazing PR resturaunts and fun if youre the type to go all in. Several quieter beaches are nearby and the hotel had a great little pool and balcony to soak up the view. The staff is freindly and readily avaliable. If and when I go, itll be to the same hotel.

I chose Dream Inn PR because it was in a great location where you can walk to many places such as restaurants & shopping. At check in I was greeted by Jorge. He was very hospitable & personable. A few days later I was in the mood for exploring the local art museums and I spoke to Jautam. He printed out a map for me and made a few other suggestions. He gave me some great places to eat & a few museums i hadnt even considered. I spent 7 and a half hours on this adventure & it was truly the highlight of my trip. Someone give this man a raise!😊 The day before I was scheduled to leave I had to change rooms & called the hotel panicked because I lost a diamond earring. When I returned I was surprised that someone from housekeeping found it and put it in an envelope for me. I was so relieved! I really needed some rest & relaxation and I found it at Dream Inn PR. The staff was so welcoming and it showed that they cared about your experience from the moment you walk in until you leave.

Oh man, we had such an incredible stay here. When we first checked in, Jorge spent about 30 minutes to take the time to discuss the island, best attractions, best bars, etc. with us. It was incredibly helpful. The room was really nice, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bare concrete walls were unique, though we thought it looked nice. It was nice to have access to the mini bar, and the selection there was diverse. There was champagne, cocktails, red wine, white wine, beer, soda, water, etc. Down stairs, there was a cold water station that dispensed filtered water (as well as coffee). We filled up each day before embarking on our adventures. The rooftop area was beautiful and offered incredible views. The pool was gorgeous and kept very clean. This hotel is within walking distance from some very nice restaurants, bars, and bakeries, that will be shared with you when you check in. The only thing that could have been better was the amenities in the room. There is a microwave available in the lobby, but not in the room. Also because the fridge is filled with mini bar items, there isnt much room for your own stuff. There also isnt a hotel gym. They are very minor things and didnt detract from our amazing stay here.

Great location and facility, super friendly staff. Very accommodating with earlier arrival and holding bags and even letting us use the outdoor shower after checkout.

Amazing stay! Cute secure area! One block from the beach and one block from calle loiza where all the bars and restaurants are at. The room was very cute it came with a mini bar that actually wasnt expensive at all but they did provide complimentary water and coffee downstairs. If you were going to the beach they provided chairs, mats, towels, sunblock whatever you might need. They also have a very cute and private pool. Was never busy actually my bf and I were always there alone. Very easy location to catch an uber and very close to all the other locations. I never spent more than 15$ on ubers. I will say the elevator is extremely slow but stairs worked perfectly fine. They also have this very beautiful rooftop where you can relax for the rest of the night after a beach or pool day! Highly recommend! Will be back!

Nice little hotel with clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Great location is walking distance to multiple restaurants and coffee shops. Will definitely stay here again when in San Juan.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Small stylish room, perfect for me. A huge benefit to have complimentary beach mats, beach towels, coolers, and sunscreen. Cute pool area, great rooftop deck. Cool area to stay, close to beach, short trip to airport, lots of stuff to do nearby.

If you’re looking into The Dream Inn, don’t hesitate and book your stay already!!!! My friend and I had the best experience imaginable. We stayed for a week and the staff was always extremely helpful and friendly, room and building in general was very clean. The pool was so cute and chill. Beach is a 5 minute walk away and the hotel lets you borrow chairs, towels, and an umbrella. My friend and I are already planning a trip to come back and we will without a doubt choose Dream Inn over any other place. Also, if you’re looking for good local bars/clubs to dance reggaeton and perrear with locals, this is literally two blocks away from all the best non-touristy places.

Oh My God Dream was a dream. From check in to check out everything perfect. The location is perfect, amenities, STAFF SPECTACULAR. They let u borrow chairs, cooler, beach umbrella. Coffee, tea, ice, water available at all times. Location is perfect next to restaurants n beach. I will DEFINITELY stay here again.Thank you very much Dream inn staff for a perfect stay.

Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The room was very small, but worked out since I was only staying till 2am. Very close to the airport. There are only 6 parkings available on the property, first come, first serve. If you don’t get one of those parking spots then you have to park on the street. It’s locatEd in a very busy and loud area, but plenty of places to get food or drinks right down the street. Also, a 24 hour Walgreens about 5 min walking distance.

This is an excellent Hotel and a great place to stay. The gentlemen at the front desk, Jorge is a true hospitably guy.

I cannot say enough about the Dream Inn! The owners have really thought about every detail. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The island experienced a power outage during our stay, but our time was uninterrupted because they had a generator. The upper roof deck and pool area offer a nice place to hang and plan your day. There are restaurants and a beautiful beach within walking distance. Beyond the accommodations the owners are truly lovely and hospitable people. My flight was delayed due to the power outage and they went above and beyond to try to assist my family, allowing us to access the facility even beyond our check out time to come up with a Plan B. Thank you Dream Inn!

FANTASTIC! My partner and I loved everything about our stay here. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Jorge was awesome getting us checked in and giving us recommendations/info about the area. The hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities you could want for a top-notch beach stay. The roof-top deck is really fun and has a gorgeous view. The location is fantastic, and you are walking distance to a TON of amazing food and night life. I adored getting to explore PR, and even got to take the ferry over to Culebra. I cannot wait to come back! Thank you for helping make it a great trip!

Oh my gosh, I loved my stay here! Super close to the beach, amazing and friendly staff (shout outs to Yani and Jorge for being top notch), clean and spacious room. The hotel itself is locked so I felt super safe being a solo female traveler there.Also, great spots around for breakfast/brunch, coffee, restaurants. And a Walgreens just around the corner! My taxi driver pointed out that Kasalta, the bakery down the road, was visited by Obama!

Clean, well-appointed room and lobby. Excellent and kind service. All the things you would need for a beach and nightlife trip in San Juan. Perfect for the price.

This place was great! Very very clean, perfect location to beach and coffee shops and great restaurants and wonderful bakeries.The staff is so nice and accommodating, couldn’t ask for better. They were very helpful with advice.Some wonderful little sitting areas throughout the property… a wonderful rooftop deck and a little pool area, all very serene.Solar powered showers provided for a hot shower which is a true plus for us energy conscious people.The room we picked was smaller and Outback of the street traffic so it suited us very well. Comfortable and convenient 👍.

I stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The hotel is within walking distance to everything and the room I stayed in was spacious. Yani has a great spirit. She provided a lot of information about the Santurce area and went out of her way to find me vegan friendly restaurants. She said Shibo and Punto Vegano are worth the try and they absolutely were. I cant say enough good things about her, shes 100%!!! I recommend this place for their hospitality, amenities, and location

My stay here was incredible, especially because of Yani. She made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped inside of the building. Shes sweet, knowledgeable of the area, and the history of Puerto Rico. Ive traveled a lot in my day and have never come across the customer service that she provided me with. Shes truly one of a kind. I will come back to Dream Inn just for her. Thank you for everything Yani, youre awesome!

When we came into town there was a huge power outage and flood. This was one of the only places in the area that had power, we thankfully had booked this place weeks ago and were so so so grateful that we had a place with power to stay for the night. The room was so nice and clean, the building itself was beautiful and felt so safe. Our fav thing about the whole place was the roof. There is an amazing roof space that has killer views of the area. It is walking distance to amazing food and shops as well.

The experience here was one of the best we have had in the island. Jorge and team were very nice hosts and made our stay as comfortable as possible. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Great location to access one of the nicest beaches PR has to offer. Great amenities!

I love it my stay here.I stayed with my mom we were on 7 days vacation. Was my first time at this hotel but not for my mom since two years not traveling to PR.I was locally from this area and I selected because of the location, amenities, cleanliness and great customer service.I will definitely stay again here on my next vacation to PR, the lady on the reception was super nice and awesome also has good memory remembering my name from my moms past booking.Just a small observation pool area needs to be cleaned better, they were a lot of limo and some cups and beverage cans around the floor. But everything else I love it.

This place is fantastic. Jorge was amazingly courteous and helpful when we got there, best check-in service ever. The hotel is beautiful and a perfect base camp for San Juan. It was relaxed, cool, and we felt safe. There were a lot of little touches that made things even better.

So Ill just say for the negative reviews you have to know what youre getting before saying this place is bad. Its a boutique hotel which means its smaller then your larger chain run ones. So with that you lose a lot of the amenities youre probably used to. Gym, large pool, large rooms, etc. But because its smaller it feels more homey and personalized which pleased us very well! The property itself is nice, well maintained, and cute. Its a very relaxing environment especially the rooftop which exceeded our expectations. Theres no place to eat at the hotel but so many places located nearby the selection is endless. Id recommend La Coffetera, and Lanas Arepas. Kasalta is also located nearby but the food did not impress us and the customer service was zero so I would skip that for the coffee shop which is located next to it. An Uber ride to Old San Juan will cost about $8 - $15 depending on what time you request one which isnt bad. The staff at the hotel were so nice and friendly and that was all of them we encountered with. I left off one star just due to the room not seeming to cool properly even with the A/C working right. It seemed like one side of the room was always noticeably hotter and that was the side with the bed. Speaking of the bed it was comfortable and we slept very well on it. Im not sure how big the rest of the rooms are but the room we were in was fine for 2 adults but definitely not any more so if you have kids Id research some more. If were back in San Juan we would definitely stay here again.

My fiancé and I stayed 3 days here while in Puerto Rico. From the initial encounter with the stay we knew this would be a great stay! Will be coming back again!

I spent 7 of the best days of my life at Dream Inn. From the lobby, pool, up to the roof top deck everything was perfect...And I cant say enough great things about the staff. They truly make you feel at home. The location and vibe are priceless. I cannot wait to go back, I wouldnt stay anywhere else ❤

This place is truly a gem ! The check in was the best part. As i checked in, the front desk clearly explained to me about the famous restaurant’s around and the basic overview of the place and how to go about. I have visited many places but never had any host shown any interest in doing so. It shows they really care about your experience. Those restaurants also offer a discount to customers who stay at Dream inn PR. The rooms are a little small, but very clean and upscale. My wife was impressed with the magnifying mirror in the restroom. They took care of tiny things. Our flights got cancelled and we had to find another place to stay. The hotel gladly accommodated us another day at a discounted price. They always try to give you an early check in and check out. Its 5 mins to the beach, many famous eateries and 10 mins to the airport. Parking is limited but free and lots of free street parking. Never had a problem with that. I would surely stay there if i ever happen to visit San Juan again. If there is something good about something, i believe everyone should know about it.

No frills but perfect for a solo trip were im outside the room mostly. Family run place with everyone super nice, friendly and helpful. Area is perfect for eating, drinking and getting to the beach. Feel more like a local vs. Being stuck in a tourist trap. Takes 10 mins to get to old san juan, takes 10 mins to get to airport.

Our first time in Puerto Rico and Gaueam and his family went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. They are friendly and caring and treat you as if you are family. I HIGHLY recommend residing at his property because it will make your experience exceed your expectations. Being one of the most affordable places to stay, they are environmentally friendly and care about every individual here.They have a beautiful pool with a amazing deck that displays wonderful views in every direction. They are located near amazing restaurantes and tourist attractions. They have a relaxing lobby with refreshments as well as a mini bar and they even have big spray and sun screen. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and they offer towels, coolers, chairs and anything you would need to enjoy your stay in or out of the hotel. Gaueam and his family are genuine and caring people who provide an authentic experience of the island. We will definitely be staying here again!

The staff is amazing and the place is super clean all around. The pool is a bit small, but I would still give it 10 stars if I could. The beach is just two blocks away and theres plenty of great food all around.

Theres nothing dreamy about this place. The bugs come out at night. The rooms are very small. The place in locked down at 8pm until 9am. No real room service. The neighborhood that its in is not nice to say the least. The lobby setup is unsat. Theres nothing cozy about this place and did I mention that the rooms are very small smh. I will say this: the older lady at the front desk is very nice.

This little place is a gem & I am so thankful to the staff for making our vacation as wonderful as it was. They provide you with as much help offering suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. They have such a peaceful environment in this hotel. If youre in PR to site see, take in the culture and you want to stay in a good location to many restaurants,bistros and cafés The Dream Inn is a great spot. A walking distance to the beach & to a Walgreens, which in our case was a lifesaver. The room comes equipped with a mini fridge which the staff can graciously empty out for you to place whatever treats you wish to consume while there. Otherwise its stalked with a variety of sodas, champagnes and wines. The rooms are cozy, perfect for enjoying a night in if you wish to bring food back to the room, sit and enjoy a meal on the bedroom deck, or upstairs in the terrace. They offer complimentary coffee and teas downstairs in their lounge area, its also where youll find the microwave. The parking sitation isnt as bad as I thought it would be. Theres parking in the streets if youre unable to find a spot in the front of the premises. Make some time to have fun & enjoy the pool, too. My husband and I stayed for 9 days (heaven!), we look forward to bringing our teenage kids here to enjoy the beauty of the island.You wont regret your stay.

What a great place to stay! We were welcomed upon arrival, rooms were ready and clean! The staff explained everything easily how to get in and out of the inn during closed lobby hours.The lobby had water, coffee & Ice available for guests. There are beach chairs, mats and beach towels in your room for use at Ocean Park Beach.An added bonus is the open rooftop deck (1 1/2 stories). It is so nice to be able to see the city from above.I will definitely recommend staying here. The rooms are plenty big and the use of the space is awesome.The only thing that could use improvement is the lighting in the room.Maybe suggest a light above the mirrors for application of makeup.Kudos to the owners!!! I want to thank George for his help and always maintaining our room organizer and for always making sure we where okay in our stay there. We definitely will recommend this place for anyone to stay. It was a beautiful place to stay everyone was nice and respectful. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Puerto Rico

I’m not usually one to write reviews but I believe when a place is good enough you should definitely let others know! I just stayed here during corona and wow I am impressed with this place. Customer service is exceptional!! Jorge helped me out from the moment I arrived! He personally explained all restrictions and answered all my questions. The property itself is beautiful. Located a short walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The beach is right around the corner! Make sure to call about their amenities offered. The rooftop upstairs is beautiful, especially at night when the lights are on and you can see the stars! Very peaceful! Thank you for a great weekend escape from the Big Apple!

The Dream inn Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 is a very cozy & wonderful hotel in the ocean park area. Just few short blocks to the beach 🏖 & close to eateries of all kinds provides for a very comfortable stay in the area. The entire property is very well decorated as well as the guests rooms. Rooms are very clean, comfortable beds & mini fridge in the room. Has a wonderful & relaxing roof terrace. Very interesting architecture combining rustic look w/modern design. Has parking upfront if you drive. The front desk staff, Jorge & Gautam were absolutely wonderful & pleasant. Owners are very lucky to have such wonderful employees tending to their guests!!

Perfect place to stay in San Juan. Its outside of the central tourist area and nestled into a cute neighborhood with great restaurants and cafes. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooftop is a bonus and great for drinks after a day in the city or on the beach.

The rooms are beautiful! Everything was so clean and well decorated. The rooms have nice views too! The location is so accessible to many things, ocean park beach, Condado, old San Juan, loiza street, etc. tons of restaurants and shops nearby and a Walgreens in case you need anything. MOST OF ALL the hotel staff are so kind, thoughtful, an accommodating. Carolina was especially fantastic!

Great place for couples to stay. Rooms are nice, maintained and well kept on a daily basis. What made it for me was the staff. They were beyond helpful and very friendly. The beach is exactly a 5 minute walk and its a great spot if your into a bit of tranquility. Theres parking right in front and if not theres enough street parking to find a spot close by. The set up is amazing especially in the lobby. A beautiful fountain with a statue of buddha greets you with an amazing scent of a pleasant incense that u will always remember. My wife would stay at what I now consider the overpriced ritzy hotels but as we enter a new phase Dreams Inn Puerto Rico was perfect. In 3.5 days we saw more of the island than we have in 10 years of travelling to the island and this hotel helped us achieve that. I highly recommend this place of business.

Very nice place. Its cozy and very clean. On the website mentions breakfast but other than a station for coffee and tea I didnt see anything breakfast related. We were told about a bakery that serves breakfast close by though, but the place its on the pricey scale. On that note there are plenty of places to eat and a 24hr Walgreens around the corner if you are in need of anything. Gave it three stars for almost no parking and the hard mattresses on the beds. Around here parking seems to be at a premium and in out first night had to leave our car a bit farther away from the hotel than we would have liked. If not for these issues would have left a higher rating. Oh and the its helpful and friendly.

Property was very clean. The owners were very accommodating and nice. They had free ice tea, water and coffee. Beer and wine were available and reasonably priced. The pool area was quaint and shaded. Several restaurants were within a block or two and a Walgreens is about a three minute walk away. The famous Kasaltas is basically across the street. We really enjoyed the rooftop sitting area at night. There was a a relaxing breeze and a beautiful view of the surrounding city. The beach was an easy 5 - 7 walk. The beach was not crowded and the water was beautiful. The airport and Old San Juan are a quick 10 minute Uber ride away. If safety is a concern for you, this place is locked up like Fort Knox, giving a real feeling of safety, but not obtrusively. Really cant go wrong here.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had everything I could need. The pool is small but very nice. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the beach, to bars and restaurants, a great coffee shop, and a 24 hour Walgreens. Hoping to come back someday and would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for the weekend for my birthday and it was absolutely terrific! From the moment we parked our car in the front Gautum greeted us and welcomed us in. He throughly explained where the places we should definitely visit and where are the places to eat. Conveniently the location of the hotel is walking distance to many bars, restaurants and even beach which was great. The hotel also provides beach mats, lounge chairs and coolers to borrow which was very helpful. Since it was my birthday, the hotel gave us a complimentary champagne bottle which we took to the rooftop and opened it up there. (Thank you Dream Inn PR!Overall the hotel is beautiful and has a very relaxing feeling to it with an amazing staff. I truly recommend this place for anyone that wants to try something different then the usually beach resort. Cant wait to plan my next trip with you guys!

The area was hit hard by the hurricane and it will take time for the neighborhood to recover. But the hotel is clean, staff is great, only blocks off the beach, and while parking is limited, there is some dedicated spaces. Price is good for a comfortable room. There is a mini fridge and tv in room. Only real downside is the street can get very noisy.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and we loved it. the hotel is small and cozy and very eco friendly.The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We were staying at another hotel in old San Juan and after checking out, we called to verify if we could do an early check in on the Dream inn or at least drop our luggage and the owner let us come in at 12:30 so we could settle in. Once there, she explained to us about the restaurants in the area and the things to do around; some places even offer discounts for hotel guests. We ended up staying another additional day. The beach is maybe 3 minutes away walking. I would stay here again

The hotel appears to be fairly new, and everything is really nice and clean. The workers are really helpful as well. The view from my room wasnt very good, but they do have a rooftop area with hammocks and chairs for that (most likely you will not be in the room much anyways).

I love this hotel. The staff has been absolutely wonderful the entire stay, and my room is clean and well-organized. There is parking on the premises, and my only frustration is that there is not a gym where I can work out. They do offer yoga classes, but I am here for work and the times do not fit my schedule, unfortunately. The breakfast vouchers have all been delicious! There are several wonderful restaurants steps away with great food!
