Drake's in Knoxville

Best food and an even better atmosphere! We had the best dinner and family hang out. Madi B is the best server. She is so attentive and interacted wonderfully with our table!

The food is decent and your typical sports bar food. My wife received her sushi well before we received our appetizer. The drinks were a little slow getting to our table. At one point, we sat and watched them just sitting at the bar. Sometimes, I feel restaurants try to push out the food so quickly they do not think it all the way through... like, why would someone want their half platter of sushi before they even received their app. All it does is make everyone at the table feel awkward. Our server was very helpful and attentive.

How does this place have such high ratings? Dont get it. Food is flavorless and unseasoned. The epitome of white people food. Insanely overpriced for stuff that makes McDonalds taste like high quality food. Table got a variety of meals, all said none of them had any flavor. Waitress dropped half my fries on the ground and didnt bring new ones or dock any money for it, either. She was also hesitant to bring drink refills and acted as if it was a burden.Overall really weird place thats overhyped.

I wasnt entirely impressed with the burger, but, it did have ample bacon & blue cheese...tasty. Next time Ill try a steak at dbl the money. Destin was a rock star! He was very pleasant and helpful. We were quite happy with his customer service.

I had a cranberry vodka and a roll of sushi. Food was good and service was good. Would definitely go again.

Pretty decent place to eat! I’ve had issues a couple times with my food being undercooked but they always are on top of making it right!

The first time we visited Drakes Knoxville we sat at the bar. Billy was our bartender. He was/is awesome. Tonight was our second time going to Drakes. Guess where we sat?? At the bar with Billy. I’m pretty sure we will only sit at the bar with him working. He’s so attentive and friendly. Thanks Billy!

Edit: As promised I am editing the review. After a few weeks of receiving the response, I completed the survey as requested to help Drakes improve. At the end of the survey it mentioned that a manager would contact me. Well to date, I still have not ben contacted. At this point Drakes, dont bother. It is clear how large parties are dealt with. Backing it down to 2 star because of the no contact.I will start by saying that the food was good. The sushi was fresh, the burgers were good as well. My issue came well before that. I was te last person of a party of 8 to arrive and found the rest of the party waiting at the door being told that there was an hour wait for 5 children and 3 adults to be seated. The host acknowledged that there were many tables available but he was not able to move them together. Soon after the manager came throughand pushed 3 tables together, outside on the patio, with an empending thunderstorm. Needless to say, I was not real happy about the way we as a party were treated.I may give them another shot and if I do I will update here as well.

I ate here and had a very pleasant experience. The food was fresh and delicious and my server Zachary was amazing and very attentive. I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Absolutely disappointing. Waited forever for our drinks. Waited forever for our food. Over two hours to be exact. Food came out wrong. Wouldnt change it. Sushi was good. However the only thing good about this place is the music. Terrible service and terrible food. Will not be coming back.

The sushi was amazing! Our server Destin was outstanding. He checked up on us multiple times and was very friendly!

A great neighborhood bar and grill. Basically had anything you’d want- sushi, burgers, chicken, tacos, etc but it’s all amazing. Also Destin is an awesome server and always great services!

Destin is the best server I’ve had at Drakes. He is friendly and attentive! He was so helpful and had great food recommendations. He definitely made our experience! Will ask for him every time from now on.

Had the best experience with our server Destin! He made our meal even better than the food alone. The menu is expansive but delivers. Love the fried pickles, and the sushi is quality and cheaper than competitors. A regular spot with friends!

Food is great, place is great, but DESTIN IS THE BEST! One of my favorite spots to eat in Knoxville. I have not had one thing on the menu that isn’t excellent.

This is a great pub and I net this waiter named Zachary Naysmith and he was AMAZING giving our party food recommendations and the food was fantastic. Also a plethora of good drinks on the drink menu.

Double smash burgers. Alexis B. Great server. Food fresh and hot. Compare it to Applebees. Fries undercooked, tots were warm. Both burgers had good flavor but were a little dry possibly from being kept in a warmer? Hardly anyone there during my visit so no reason for " Luke" warm food. Most of the Tap beers were unavailable due to some issue. I go to these type places for the exclusive reason of trying their craft beers. The workers were all friendly and doing the best they could. I will probably give it a 2nd try everyone can have an off day.

Second location we have been to. Staff is excellent and really there to make your dining experience a positive one. Best Sushi in the area. Comfy seating for the larger folks too!

Saturday night in Knoxville, everyone was busy including Drakes! We got a table for 7 quickly and Anna was at our table instantly. She was very helpful with the menu and added smiles to our discussion. Very professional and boy does she work hard!! Great job Anna, keep up the hard work, I look forward to seeing you again!

I guess I expected more, from what I have been told about them, the food was hot, but no better than anyone else in town. The service was great. I would go back.

Weve ordered DoorDash Drakes deliver a number of times. This was our first in-person experience. We sat on the patio. Our server was attentive, friendly, but not smothering. She gave candid opinions on drinks which we really appreciated. We loved the drinks and food we chose and will return.

Never received service. Arrived 5 minutes after my online order said it would be ready. Txtd like the signs tell me to and how Ive done it numerous times before. 15 minutes goes by. I go inside, stand at the bar for 10 minutes... Watched the bar tender stare at the customer signing for his pickup order for a full minute as they guy struggled to calculate a tip. Bar tender ignored me behind him, never acknowledged my existence. He then walked away. The woman waiting behind me then followed him down the bar as he made drinks for someone else. After waiting 25 minutes, I walked being the bar, searched through the other to go orders, saw mine, and then left. No one ever acknowledged I existed.. even when I was in an area I otherwise should not have been.I really like the food, especially the Juicy Lucies, but the service has been bad multiple times.. this is the first time that it didnt exist at all, thats a new level.

This was my first time going and I would say it couldve been better. My friends and I was there around 10p and it wasnt busy at all. The layout of the place is nice and when we found a table, it took between 5-8 min before we were greeted by the server. Keep in mind it wasnt busy at all. The server we had was nice but wasnt very attentive at all. As for the food, I ordered the beer cheese burger with sweet potatoes fries. The fries was good, but i felt as the portion size was to small. The burger, I wasnt really impressed. The Beer cheese was very thick and it seemed like it was old and been sitting under a heat lamp since the afternoon. My friend also had the beer cheese burger with regular fries, Again, the portion of the fries were small. Even though this is my first time. Ill go back in the future (dont know whento see if my first time experience will change

Good food, decent price for portions. Service a bit slow, but late Friday evening I dont fault them for that with short staff. Good vibes w the music & general atmosphere. Sushi was nice & fresh.

Decent food decent service.The only knock I have on this place is that it wasnt even busy when I was there yet there was like 6 or 7 dirty tables. The bus boy really needs to step his game up.

Today was mine and my boyfriend’s first time at Drake’s. Our waiter was Destin. He is such an amazing server and was so beyond kind to us. He made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. He made sure our dining experience was something we enjoyed. We can be kind of picky but Destin didn’t once seem bothered by us. The food was amazing and the service even better. So, we both will be asking for Destin the next time we come and we appreciate him so much. Thanks Destin.

Ok so first things first! Thos is my dude! He was absolutely amazing as our server! Super juice and beyond helpful! I cant express asking for Destin as your server! The food was fantastic and the beer was nice and cold! The atmosphere is killer and I definitely will be back! Loved the place! Check it out for sure if you are in the west Knoxville area!

Long John’s has better fish tacos and that is t saying much. Food is way to greasy, if your a healthy eater do not waste your money. Coleslaw goes on tacos not gross brown iceberg lettuce. I specifically requested coleslaw and received the gross lettuce and tomatoes 🤢 fish was over battered and too greasy. The price is too much for the lack of food quality. I was left with a lighter wallet and a sick stomach. Will not eat here again.

What caught my eye first was its broad menu; a restaurant with burgers, wings, quesadillas, and sushi??? Sushi was definitely the cherry on top for me!You sit where you want. There’s good air conditioning, music, and the option to sit outside. Customers seemed in a good mood.- I got the black bean vegetarian option (it’s not vegan because they put cheese on itand it was delicious! Seasoned well. Only thing is that I would ask for less lettuce on it.- The sweet potato fries came as a side option and they were seasoned very well! Crunchy.- My sushi was the crunchy crunchy roll. Came with ginger and wasabi on a shareable plate.- My waiter didn’t check on me but once. Didn’t refill my water until I asked for a to-go at the end. They were kind of slow about giving the check, coming back for it, seeing if I was ready to order, etc.- It was a bit slow when I was there, so the waiters would frequently group up together and chat instead of being busy with work tasks, it seemed. I was by myself so I didn’t feel taken seriously.But all in all, good food! And that’s what matters to me most. Loved loved the sushi.

We love the restaurant chain and for the most part the food is consistently cooked to our liking. This was our first time at this location and although the food was good it seemed like everything ordered by our group (from the appetizers to the main courseswas over cooked to the point of almost being burnt. This isnt a negative to every Drakes, only to this particular location. The young lady who waited on us was also in charge of the patrons at the bar but she was cheerful and attentive even though they were busy. Other than the issue with food it was an overall pleasant experience.

Our server was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere with fun music. Enjoyed the indoor/outdoor setting. We had pretzels and beer cheese as a starter. They were average. Our entrées were The Patty Melt which was delicious, New York roll and a seaweed salad and the chicken quesadilla. Spouse the sushi was good, better than average. The chicken quesadilla was very good. The drinks were really good. A generous pour and a very good beer. We will go back. Better than average bar food.

It wasn’t bad, first time going. I got the steak and sushi combo (medallion & crab Rangoon roll). The menu is definitely “different”. I’d go back though, my mom got a burger and it looked delicious. Service was good, where we sat was really cold

My youngest son wanted to grab lunch to go at the bar of Drake’s Of Knoxville.He orders a plain bacon burger with no cheese just bacon with fries.Rain also order the kid’s chicken finger with potato tots on the side.Drake’s has the best quality kids meals and their burgers are truly amazing.The entire restaurant and restrooms are always fresh and clean every time we visit.Overall, this is my sons favorite Restaurant in the entire world they have great food with a family fun atmosphere.

Food was amazing service was top notch 10 out of 10 would dine again!

Food was good, service was fast, one order was wrong, another was cold, like refrigerator cold. The waiter fixed the wrong order and didnt charge for the mistake. Thanks for making that right. This was my first time here and my impression of order accuracy is poor.

Raw burgers! Out of the six burgers in my door dash order (triple minis, juicy lucys, two kids cheeseburger minisall were raw. Dont door dash here and if you are in the restaurant check your food prior to eating.

Drakes has a Fun dining environment, and you can enjoy a round of Darts too! I ordered the Rainbow Roll to go, and it was quite tasty. (I wish it had been rolled a little tighter as the roll fell apart while eating; and the sushimi on top was very thin, almost just decorative.But the wait staff is very attentive and I look forward trying dish. Kudos Madi B.!

Tha staff and management are awesome. We had the tenderloin filets - the best in town. So tender and tasty. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We went on Veterans Day and there was a place set for "The Missing Soldier" Kudos to Drakes!!

We really enjoyed the food here! The atmosphere was great and it was a great place to hang with friends over a good meal. They were busy which made service really slow and the phones wouldn’t stop ringing which got a little annoying. We’ll be back because it has a lot of options but maybe not on a Saturday night.

Needed to find a new place for date night, honestly I did not have high expectations. This place certainly impressed me and my spouse. This place was busy, like busy enough that I suspected some service delay, they however had that well under control. Food menu was incredibly eclectic (cheeseburgers and sushi!), I expected kitchen delays, wrong again they delivered stuff so quick I was completely suprised. Atmosphere was really great, think comfortable family sports bar style. TVs and music everywhere (with music that I liked). We did apps, drinks, and dinner which ran about $80 (w/tipfor 2. Based on food, service, environment, and speed it was well worth it. We will be returning (maybe a new go to spot).

Drakes is my new favorite restaurant. I went to two in three days while traveling. They need to expand! Staff at both were awesome, sushi is some of the best Ive ever had.100% go go go!Thanks Molly for the great service!

Excellent as usual. Usually they allow you to choose your own table, so I sat at the bar this time. Kaitlyn was an excellent bartender and server, very nice and conversational. Also the sushi is always good, but the sushi of the month for May was fantastic. They have a rotating beer selection as well, so theres always a reason to come back.

This place is absolutely delicious!!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Good atmosphere, awesome service and mouthwatering sushi!!! Lol. Our new favorite place to eat out hand down.

Rachel R made the whole experience complete with her hard work and perfect service, got me water after water by the time I finished them off (I was thirstyand gave me napkins within 10 seconds of me searching for them, with the best attitude. Probably the best service Ive ever had.The cheddar burger was huge and delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant even though they were clearly busy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who can afford to pay $10 for a burger (I went on national burger day)

It doesn’t have to be game day to try out Drake’s sports bar. Went there Saturday evening and it was packed, BUT... we seated quickly. As well as being known for a cool hangout and good burgers, they serve sushi too. Imagine that! Having tried quality sushi restaurants before and being disappointed, I thought “might as well”. We got the spicy California roll, “toil and trouble” mini burgers, mini juicy Lucy’s, and the triple double minis. Toil and trouble burgers have ghost pepper cheese, a little burn but really good. The other burgers were very good as well but I was most impressed with the sushi, so I’m definitely going back. We ordered drinks, the mean apple and the loose goose. Very good! I highly recommend a visit just keep in mind, ball games are playing all the time so it can get loud but if you don’t mind an enthusiastic crowd, you definitely won’t be disappointed!

Food was great, burger was perfectly cooked. Tempura shrimp roll was good as well. If I wasnt so stuffed with the burger, I would have tried the other two, raw tuna spring roll and spicy California roll. My wife says they were good. Atmosphere was good to, plenty of TVs to watch sports, two bar areas.
